168 - Secret Blotter
Life is 10 per cent what happens to you And 90 per cent false memories of what you think happened to you. Welcome to Night Vale.
In an effort to bring more transparency to the Sheriff’s Secret Police, a chronicle of one night’s dispatches will be released to the public. This action comes at the behest of the City Council, who voted unanimously on a resolution to ban plastic bags.
Now, OK, while those two things may not seem related, Sheriff Sam misunderstood the vote as a rallying cry against tyrannical surveillance and a personal threat, involving being thrown to the pit of vipers behind the bowling alley. Sheriff Sam, who has a paralyzing fear of vipers, proposed a compromise in which Secret Police dispatches would be temporarily divulged, so the public can get a better idea of what agency does and how tax dollars are being spent. A plan which was readily accepted by the Council, though they continued to roll their eyes and gnash their teeth and chant softly: [creepy voice] “Viper pit! Viper pit! Blessed be the viper pit!” Which is just how they express a “yay” vote on procedural issues.
As a result, Night Vale has its first ever police blotter. Let’s dig in. 9 o’clock PM. Missing person reported inside the Ralphs. Night manager on duty says employee went to stock some cases of Lime-A-Ritas in the new walk-in beer cave and never came out. Reporting officer thoroughly checked beer cave and confirmed it was deserted. Three cases of the beverage were left haphazardly in the middle of the floor, and a loading dolly had tipped over onto its side. Manager states employee originally brought in four cases. Manager added one missing case of Lime-A-Ritas to the report. When asked if this kind of thing has happened before, manager changed subject and asked if officer would like to look at some of the children’s drawing contest submissions. Officer was amenable to this request.
9:16 PM. Noise complaint. Dog barking in an unknown language annoying residents. Dirty white fur, human face. Gone when officer arrived on scene.
9:25 PM. Two underage residents attempted to sneak into an R-rated movie by pretending to be one tall person in a trench coat. When confronted by officer, they turned into a swarm of flies and dispersed.
10:01 PM. Noise complaint. A sound resembling television static was being emitted from a shower drain out in the Hefty Sycamore trailer park. When recorded and played backwards, it turned out to be a broadcast from a 1952 episode of the game show “Beat the Clock”, where contestants competed to see how many pieces they could smash a clock into. A plumber was called.
10:15 PM. A resident of Desert Creek searched for “easy tortellini recipes”, but none of them were easy enough. It was so late already, and they needed to get to bed soon, but they were also very hungry and needed to eat dinner first. They wanted something quick, but they also wanted a real dinner, not a false dinner like… cereal? They became hyperaware that the more they deliberated on what to make, the longer it was all taking. And factoring in the decision-making time on top of the meal prep time was becoming additionally stressful in relation to the desire to get to bed soon.
11:30 PM. A Coyote Corner’s swimming pool filled with blood and began swirling furiously in a counter-clockwise direction. Home owner appeared distressed. Officer advised home owner to drain pool.
11:31 PM. Multiple residents awoke in a cold sweat from the same dream. It wasn’t necessarily a nightmare, but it was definitely not pleasant. The only thing they could recall afterwards was that it was showing, and that there was a tree with seven limbs.
12:00 AM. Witches.
2:00 AM. That time of night when everything starts getting hazy. Were you headed to a crime? Checking a surveillance station? Listening to a wiretap? Going home? Returning to headquarters? Signalling an invisible helicopter? Sometimes you lose track. An old local legend comes into your mind, and you try to recall the details. It’s been so long since you heard it. You watch the headlights bounce along the dirt road ahead, and your eyes begin to play tricks on you, sensing movement in the dark margins where the light doesn’t penetrate. You turn off the lights and slow the vehicle. They weren’t tricks after all. There is movement here, a dark writhing mass entering the roadway. You are forced to stop the car. Eyes flesh open in the dark. Many sets of eyes. This isn’t part of a half-remembered legend. This is something very, very real.
More of the blotter soon. But first, let’s have a look at traffic. You’re hunting in a pack near the Old Highway. The smell of blood is in the air. Headlights bounce over the rise and your stomachs rumble. The moon flees behind the clouds and you fan out, along both sides of the road, moving parallel to it like a lazy river. The car approaches and slows. It shuts off its headlights, as you knew it would. Some of you push ahead to the car, blocking its path. Others move to the rear and others remain at the sides boxing it in. You converge, surrounding it more tightly the door opens, then closes again, the fleshy creature inside cursing softly. You hear a crackle of radio static, but you know it is inconsequential to you. You consume the metal shell first. There are explosions of air and the hiss of leaking fluids. Then the glass, crunchy and cool in your collective gullet. And finally, the screaming delicacy in the center, the cloth-wrapped package of meat and bone. There are other things afterward, less enjoyable, but consumable nonetheless. Papers and electronics, and the pleather, and cold French fries in the back. Nothing must remain. By the time the moon emerges from the clouds, the old highway will be deserted once more. This has been traffic.
And now a word from our sponsors. Today’s show is brought to you by TickTock. The only app that tells you exactly how long you have left to live. The sleek countdown display synchs easily with all of your devices, so that you can check your mortality at a glance. The premium edition provides additional details, such as manner and location of death, and updates to the minute, as you make different choices throughout your day. You’ll find yourself asking questions like, why did returning a library book just subtract 4 years from my life? How did leaving late for work change my final outcome from drowning in gulch to birds of prey? Why does it say “tomorrow” all of a sudden? [panicking] It must be some kind of glitch, right? OK, OK, I’ve updated the app but it still hasn’t changed. It still says “tomorrow”. I just got checked out by a doctor and they said I’m in great shape, I’m staying home from work, I’m not answering the door, I’ve closed the blinds and I’m sitting on the couch, surrounded by pillows, not moving, not even blinking, I’ve done everything dammit, EVERYTHING!!! WHY DOES IT STILL SAY “TOMORROW”???!! Tick tock. Tick tock. Tick tock. This has been a word from our sponsors.
Back to the Sheriff’s Secret Police blotter. 2:30 AM. Responded to an officer distress call on the Old Highway. No sign of officer or vehicle found. Must have been a false alarm.
3:15 AM. Nude man ranting in middle of old highway, carrying a case of alcoholic beverages. Identified as the night shift stocker at the Ralphs. Claims he entered the walk-in refrigerator at work, reached up to place the case of beverages on the shelf, and abruptly found himself in a network of ice caves. He eventually climbed up a snowy mountain where he met a robed figure he refers to as “The Oracle”. “The Oracle” foretold of a hungry darkness with a thousand eyes and urged that the portal must be cloooosed. The Ralphs employee also reported that “The Oracle” had slurred speech and seemed unsteady on its feet, and may have been inebriated. After this exchange, he then found himself standing in the Sand Wastes nude. He does not know where his clothes are. Officer escorted man back to the Ralphs to finish out his shift.
3:35 AM. Domestic disturbance. “He won’t stop practicing the flute!” a Cactus Bloom resident reported, indicating his dopplegänger who stood in the corner of the bedroom, staring unblinkingly at the wall and playing the same halting scale on a wooden flute. Officer advised resident to take a melatonin and try to get some sleep. “If he doesn’t stop, I can’t be held responsible!” the sleep-deprived resident threatened. “Sounds fair,” the officer agreed and left the premises.
4:00 AM. An alarm clock went off in Old Town. A woman attempted to get out of bed, but her cat walked sleepily onto her person and began purring, preventing her from rising. Her cat is elderly and the woman knows its number of purrs are finite and must be honored. Eventually, she put on coffee and took a shower. She used Herbal Solution shampoo for a lifelong dandruff condition, though she has not seen any improvement after years of using the products. She continues using it, because she likes the way it smells. It smells medicinal, like it’s helping, and it does tingle, like the label promises. The tingle means it’s working, the label says. So it must be working.
And now a break form the police blotter for some sports news. Night Vale High School – go Scorpions! – has added a concession stand to be used during sporting events. The parent-teacher association proudly unveiled the new stand at last week’s baseball game, dedicating the plywood structure to the memory of favorite AP auto shop teacher, Nick Teller. Teller reacted with confusion at this news, as he is still alive. “Oh, of co-, no, of course you are,” the PTA responded awkwardly, “but we just wanted to honor – your memory, as in what a great memory you have. You-you know how you’re really good at remembering stuff? We just wanted to, yeah uh, honor that,” the PTA went on, seemingly unable to stop explaining themselves, whilst standing in front of the dedication plaque, which featured several doves, a Celtic cross, and an image of clasped hands. Teller admitted he does have an excellent memory and is very honored. The following concessions are available at the Teller memorial stand: Special allowances, the granting of rights, the acceptance of certain things as truth, the yielding of certain other things as untruth. Also, RC Cola and popcorn.
Oh, which reminds me, we actually have another word from our sponsor, Royal Crown Cola. Invented by Ferdinand the 1st, king of Naples, who built a museum of mummies inside his palace to house the bodies of his slain enemies. “I am parched from building this museum of mummies,” he famously said, and the rest is history. RC Cola – the drink of ruthless monarchs.
In local news, I have the results of the Ralphs drawing contest. Local school children were encouraged to submit a drawing to the store this week, depicting their favorite Ralphs product. I’ll start with the runners up. The third place drawing comes to us from Ella Snider, a student from Night Vale Elementary, and it shows a large black scribbled mass with a lot of eyes on it, with the Ralphs building on fire in the background. Very creative, Ella!
The second place drawing comes from Jace McCoy, also from Night Vale Elementary, and this one also shows a black mass with many eyes and a big bright red splatter of blood across the page. Nice use of color, Jace!
And the grand price winner comes to us from Heather (Fathusam) [0:16:52] of Daggers Plunge Charter School. Her drawing features a beautiful black mass with lots of lovely eyes, and it’s holding a box of store brand frozen pizza rolls. Congratulations, Heather!
Back to the blotter. 4:01 AM. Distress call from the Ralphs. Upon arrival, officer was pulled into the manager’s office. The employee from the earlier incident was also present, huddled under a desk. Manager frantically indicated the surveillance window that looks out into the store, which he normally uses to spy on shoppers and report on what they are wearing for his Customer Fashion newsletter. Shelves of products were being knocked over and consumed by a vast dark nothingness. The back of the store then burst into flames. The manager implored the officer to quote, “Do something, please, or we’ll all be killed!” Officer used the intercom system to tell the nothingness to vacate the store immediately, and advised it of trespass and vandalism laws. The nothingness took the form of many dark shapes with many eyes. A tank of fresh seafood exploded and numerous shellfish were damaged. Officer advised the shapes that they were all under arrest. “Stop talking to it!” the manager cried and knocked the intercom mic out of the officer’s hand. Approximately 1000 eyes turned to look at the office window. Interesting. Well.
Let’s have a look at that weather.
[“Best Friends” by Curtains: https://curtains.bandcamp.com/]
4:35 AM. Situation escalated at the Ralphs. Officer, manager and employee embraced one another under the office desk amid the shattered glass of the surveillance window. The building trembled around them, products flew through the air, half the inventory was sucked into oblivion, and a great fire blazed, spreading to the bakery section. After doing an estimated 200,000 dollars worth of damage, the darkness and its many eyes entered the beer cave and did not come back out. Officer investigated the beer cave and found it to be empty. “You have to shut down the cave!” the Ralphs employee implored the manager. “That’s its doorway to our world!” The manager hedged and responded that a big heat wave was coming and if they hoped to recoup any of their losses, keeping the beer cave open was going to be instrumental to the store’s survival. “People will spend big on frosty cold beverages,” the manager responded. “Not to mention they’re gonna like standing around in there for a nice cool-down.” The employee wrapped his robe tightly around himself. Oh, the manager had lent him the robe, one of the many fashion items the manager kept in his collection, since the employee still didn’t know where his clothes had gone. “OK,” the employee said. He picked up a Lime-A-Rita and guzzled it down in one continuous gulp. Then he said, his voice already a little slurred: “I’ll have to try to shhhhtop it myself.” He ran into the beer cave and promptly vanished.
5:40 AM. Tree with seven limbs seen growing out of a hole in the vacant lot out back of the Ralphs. Snow observed on the branches, which melted off quickly as the sun rose.
5:45 AM. Real pretty sunrise.
Well, that concludes our Secret Police blotter. I dunno about the rest of you, but I personally feel a lot more safe and secure getting a closer look at what our Secret Police do. On behalf of Night Vale Community Radio, thank you for your service. I’m sure we will all rest a lot easier knowing that our fate is in your hands. Our sleeping bodies are under your watchful eye, and our every thought and action is being monitored for the greater good. As Secret Police mascot Barks Ennui always says: Stay tuned, stay, vigilant, report your neighbors. Woof. Woof.
Good night, Night Vale, Good night.
Today’s proverb: Six out of seven dentists have no idea where that seventh one disappeared to. Honest, they all have rock solid alibis and that blood could have belonged to anyone.

Fusionfall Headcanons: The Fates of Characters (Future)
When you arrive in the Future, you find that several of the characters simply "aren't around anymore," their fates either kept quiet about or left to speculation by those remaining. This is going to go into some dark territory given the topic, but the following will include a list of ideas focusing on the fates of those characters. Given that this will largely cover MIAs--many of which were listed due to being cut off and losing contact with various bases--and that we already meet several characters in the future portion of the game, I won’t be listing everyone/explaining all of their disappearances; however I will try to cover as many as possible in the context of “reports” known by the majority of Fusion Fighters:
Sector V KND Operatives:
Numbuh 1--Status: TERMINATED
Numbuh 1 fought hard in the Battle of Tech Square, however, he suffered grave injuries from both fusion monsters and overexposure to fusion matter. To ensure that both his friends and the time-travelers survived, he remained behind and sacrificed himself.
Numbuh 2--Status: ALIVE
Numbuh 3--Status: TERMINATED
Numbuh 4--Status: TERMINATED
Both Numbuh 3 and Numbuh 4 were confirmed losses after the KND Jungle Outpost was overtaken by fusion matter’s devastation of The Wilds. As leaders, they stayed behind to the very end to ensure that as many people as possible could escape the base.
Numbuh 5--Status: ALIVE
The Kanker Sisters:
Lee Kanker--Status: TERMINATED
Marie Kanker--Status: TERMINATED
When the fusion matter infection began to heavily settle in Peach Creek, both Lee and Marie were swept up in the destruction. They weren’t in a good spot and the ground collapsed under them, burying them with a ton of fusion matter. If the collapse itself didn’t kill them, overexposure to fusion matter did as no one was around to reach them in time.
May Kanker--Status: MIA
The Eds:
Ed--Status: MIA
Edd--Status: TERMINATED
When Lee and Marie Kanker stopped trying to get into the Cul-de-sac, everyone knew that in itself was a bad sign. Edd felt partially responsible for their disappearance, even though he wasn’t the only one who wanted to keep the sisters out, so he left with a small squad to go find them. Unfortunately, only a few members of the squad made it back: The rest were ambushed by fusion monsters, Edd included.
Eddy--Status: ALIVE
Eddy was pretty stubborn when it came to both the Kankers and Edd’s decision to look for them, holding a fearful grudge against the girls for all of the stunts they’ve pulled both before and during the war--and, honestly, they were such a thorn in the Eds sides that he didn’t expect anything to happen to them. When none of them came back ok, he became a little more serious, maintain an outwardly confident, business persona, but also trying to make up for what happened by trying to be a better leader. It’s a lot harder without either of the other Eds by his side, and he has a lot of self-blame for their disappearances and not appreciating them sooner.
Father:
Status: DESERTED
When things started to really get bad, Father decided to “cut his losses” and abandon Peach Creek. However, this was also around the same time when a report came out saying that the Delightful Children had gone MIA. It’s assumed that Father went looking for them, possibly taking his family into hiding if he managed to find them.
Stickybeard:
Status: AWOL/MIA
According to candy pirate Root Canal Rita, Stickybeard went missing while he was looking for a new ship. Many of those who served under him claim that, while he left his post, he wouldn’t have done so to abandon the war effort, but rather to become an active fighter again. Whatever the case, no one’s seen him at Candy Cove or anywhere else since.
The Powerpuff Girls:
Blossom--Status: ALIVE
Bubbles--Status: ALIVE
After the Battle of Tech Square, Blossom and Bubbles opted to stay on one of Dexter’s airships to guard the survivors and search for any others. Able to fly at rapid speed, they were able to make great cover for the airship against any further attacks as well as split off to the collapsing structures in the area to save people.
Buttercup--Status: ALIVE
Having Buttercup back in the fight was a huge morale boost for the Fusion Fighters, especially after facing a string of devastating losses. Remaining primarily on the battlefront, she tends to go wherever she’s needed most for a fight. After the Battle of Tech Square, that meant returning with the rest of the heroes to guard the remaining bases and ensure the time-travelers were prepared to face off against Fuse’s army.
Professor Utonium:
Status: POW (Presumed Dead)
When Buttercup went missing, it took a large toll on the professor. Seeing people around her age fight in the war--and knowing his other two daughters were also out there fighting a gradually losing battle--pushed him to taking a more active role as a soldier instead of just leading scientific/technological endeavors in Genius Grove. Unfortunately, while he was able to protect civilians, he was captured. Fusion monsters don’t take many POWs, so the worst could only be assumed.
Mojo Jojo:
Status: MIA (Presumed Dead)
At the point of the time-travelers’ arrivals, the Monkey Minions haven’t seen their leader for days. Two theories, however, surround his absence. The first is that Mojo effectively “went down with his ship,” unwilling to let Fuse get any of his tech from his volcano base to the point of dying over it. The second is that he tried pushing forward on the frontlines and was inevitably killed in battle. Either way, all of the monkeys insist that he wouldn’t have just turned tail on them.
Him:
Status: DESERTED
“Gentlemen, it’s been a pleasure.” These were the last words and sole warning from Him just before the Fusion Fighters lose Endsville. Leaving them to hand the area’s collapse, it’s believed he returned to the Underworld to spend however much more time Earth had there. People are just glad that things didn’t get worse.
Grim, Billy, and Mandy:
Status: ALIVE/AWOL
Placing these three together, because it’d be more difficult to talk about them otherwise. When things got bad, the Fusion Fighters were still somehow able to convince Grim to maintain the last few Resurrect ‘Ems--even if the reaper didn’t think there was much use for them up to that point. Nevertheless, Grim opted to head back to the Underworld and Billy and Mandy tagged along, per his obligations as their “friend.” No one really sees much of the three besides Grim on rare occasions, who spends his time out of the Underworld to vent when he’s not working. According to him, Billy’s a pain, but at least Mandy’s still technically trying to help... if by getting into some pretty dark arts...
Dee Dee:
Status: ALIVE
It’s confirmed by Dexbot Q-33 that Dee Dee’s ok, however, she stays in her house at Genius Grove. While still a kind of home-giver like she in the past at the base, she takes an even more active role now as a nurse as well, which always keeps her busy. That, and that she’s also a target as Dexter’s sister pushes her to stay safe.
The Foster’s Home Gang:
Pretty much everyone at Foster’s was TERMINATED or has gone MIA, because one of the first things Fuse did when closing in on some of the more secure areas was wipe out Foster’s Home. This includes Frankie, Mr. Herriman, Wilt and Mac--the last two having gone there to try to protect Foster’s for as long as they could. Three to have survived are Coco, Bloo, and Eduardo. These survivors were split apart so that, in the event of Fuse capturing another base, they’ll still be a few imaginary friends left around.
Bloo fell into kind of a depression after losing Mac. He lost his usual self and has gotten pretty reserved, unwilling to see much of anyone. Sometimes, he blames Coco, since Mac initially split off from him to protect her, but he also largely blames himself for not being there for Mac and the others in the end.
Coco is kept under constant protection by the Fusion Fighters, who are always worried about losing her support and all that she supplies to the war effort such as her eggs and her strength as an imaginary friend.
Courage:
Status: MIA (Presumed Dead)
A loyal pet to the end, the Fusion Fighters last saw Courage trying to save Eustace and Muriel from the overtaking fusion matter claiming Nowhere. They never saw him again after that, and at best could only hope that he and the elderly couple managed to meet up somewhere with some of the Eggplants/Chickens.
Juniper Lee:
Status: MIA
Juniper just went missing one day in the middle of leading a battle, and while no one knows what happened many assume that Fuse or possibly even someone from the Underworld kidnapped her for her connections/abilities as the Te-Xuan-Ze. Grim was asked to keep an eye out for her, given her ties to him, but there’d been no update.
Ben 10 Characters:
Vilgax--Status: DESERTED
As soon as things took a turn for the worst, Vilgax bolted. He did try targeting Ben one last time, claiming that it was worthless to allow the Omnitrix to be destroyed along with himself and Earth; however, Ben beat him. Everyone saw it coming anyway and nobody grieved.
Max Tennyson--Status: TERMINATED
Max perished with several other Plumbers trying to protect civilians from fusion monsters during the City’s final days.
Hex--Status: MIA
Gwen Tennyson--Status: MIA
Kevin Levin--Status: AWOL/POW
When Fusion Fighters lost contact with the base in the Pimpleback Mountains, Kevin abandoned his post to go looking for Gwen despite all orders against it. His last transmission was to report that the base had been overtaken, right before it cut to himself being caught by fusion monsters. It’s believed he was captured for his Osmosian DNA so that Fuse could experiment on him.
Ben Tennyson--Status: ALIVE (wounded)
Ben fought hard in the Battle of Tech Square, but sustained heavy injuries and slipped into a coma-like state. It’s a miracle at all that he survived, and it’s assumed he only managed to because of some alien DNA in the Omnitrix protecting him as the device’s host.
Tetrax--Status: ALIVE
His initial plans were to study Fuse and while he has no personal investment in Earth, he’s remained loyal to protecting it from the remaining airships. Nevertheless, he doesn’t have much faith in Earth’s survival, and so he mostly tries to convince several Fusion Fighters into leaving the planet--citing that they could do more good and save their species if they left and shared their powers/knowledge regarding Imaginary Energy and nanos with the galaxy, thus preventing Fuse from conquering anymore planets. If all else failed and Earth was lost, he planned to kidnapped some Earthlings anyway (including Ben) so that not all hope would be lost.
Albedo--Status: DESERTED
Hardly anyone had any faith in Albedo’s intentions when he first signed on for the war, and the former Galvan never helped his situation thanks to a series of incidents where he actually sabotaged the Fusion Fighters–particularly to get to Ben and his aliens. To be honest though, it usually wasn’t much different than any of other villains’ antics, be it on purpose or not. Although he did takes things too far to the point where he got locked up more than once, like them, he was largely given a pass because of Fuse being a bigger threat and thanks to his abilities. Needless to say, no one shed a tear when he vanished one day–either still somewhere plotting how to take the Omnitrix from Ben or trying to find/craft a ship to escape Earth.
The Scotsman:
Status: ALIVE
No one understood how this man’s survived everything he’s been through beyond sheer luck. He constantly remains on the frontlines, determined to keep fighting for Earth until the very end no matter how hopeless things seem. It’d really be encouraging in the med team and Resurrect ‘Ems didn’t have to keep pulling him back from the brink of death...
Demongo:
Status: DESERTED
The turn of war had already moved against the Fusion Fighters. In the middle of one of the final battles for the Darklands, after Samurai Jack had to return to the city, Demongo betrayed them--claiming many of their strongest soldiers before vanishing. It’s assumed that he returned to Aku’s side, but there’s been no move by him or his master since.

Arvada Vacation Rentals
plumbers arvada co As first of Green Mountain High School in Lakewood, Colleen Owens spends a conventional bit of her time overseeing workplaces issues — a defective housetop, a flooding exercise center floor, and the alterations that ought to be made because of deficiencies in the school building.
In any case, when Jefferson County voters avowed the $567 million bond in November, it kickstarted a six-year expect to improve workplaces all through the area.
"It's huge, it's confounded and it's a huge amount of work," said Tim Reed, official of workplaces and advancement the administrators for Jeffco Schools. "However, we're grateful for the voters. It's an enormous open entryway for the school territory."
Additionally, Owens is amped up for what the security money infers for her school. At first certain 1972, Green Mountain had redesigns done in 1995, anyway the majority of the schools is from the primary structure 46 years earlier.
Green Mountain is slated to get $13.6 million of work through the bond program. That joins expanding the workplace with an extension; redesigning the structure inside; emptying specific structures; moves up to the business kitchen, parking structure, masterminding, athletic fields, electrical wiring, warming and cooling, pipes and channeling; and replacing the housetop, walkways, old decorations, sinks, mat, tile and rooftops.
This is in like manner despite security and development updates foreseen. "We would love to have a new out of the crate new school, anyway there's adequate money," Owens said. "The 13 million will go so far for us to address the fundamental office needs."
Despite the way that it may seem, by all accounts, to be superfluous to specific, Owens said invigorates in study corridor furniture are something her school is amped up for, including that as of now, 90 percent of the schools furniture are scavenge from other or bought at furniture store close-outs.
"We're looking for after not all that terrible furniture that is progressively agreeable and have the work regions," Owens said. "I understand it sounds odd, yet seating genuinely makes a distinction. The whole state of walking around a learning space that youngsters trust in energizes them state, 'I am here to learn.'"
Green Mountain is one of the primary schools that will see work expressly bolstered by the bond remembering the craving of improvement starting this pre-summer.
A notice social event started working with a fashioner close to the start of January to help pick how the money is best spent. Owens intends to hold a system meeting in March with nuances to share.
"I envision that our district quite to hear immovably from us how grateful we are," Owens said. "I understand this is a cost addition, and as a resident myself, I couldn't care less for making due with administrative commitments. In any case, speaking to Green Mountain High, I will guarantee every dime is proceeded with staggering thought and smash every penny I can. None of this would be possible without the voters of Jeffco."
Reed said time of structures, the time range to finish an endeavor and a hankering to bring all pre-1980 optional schools up to uniformity recently chose the course of occasions of exercises.
Alameda Jr/Sr., Arvada High and Columbine High are the other three schools that are starting their redesign method now. In January 2020, four even more optional schools will start the technique.
"We would incline toward not to make a condition where you miss the mark on quality guides or legally binding specialists," Reed explained. "You would incline toward not to offer against yourself for an endeavor."
youtube
Reed said more exceptional schools or schools that had redesigns done as a noteworthy part of the 2004 bond will as a rule be toward the later years in the six-year course of occasions since they don't have a similar number of insufficiencies and needn't mess with the speedy thought that various schools do.
Regardless, this mid year basic endeavors, for instance, superseding covering, finishes, mechanical work and displacing lightning with LEDs will happen.
The three schools being recreated — Prospect Valley Elementary in Wheat Ridge, Kendrick Lakes Elementary in Lakewood and Marshdale Elementary in Conifer — will moreover be partitioned out. Reed said the area will start picking modelers in February for the Kendrick Lakes develop, which will be first.
Proposed new schools in west Arvada and Rooney Valley are late in the bond cycle since they rely upon future advancement in those districts.
Another endeavor needed to start immediately in the bond cycle is the extension to Three Creeks K-8 in northwest Arvada.
"The advancement that we're seeing up there, they will be at cutoff the accompanying fall," Reed said. "They are winding up snappier than predicted."

Moncks Corner, SC
Living in Moncks Corner, SC is very thrilling. This is a small town with old-fashioned hospitality, charm, history, and happy life for its residents. If you go back to history, you'll know that the town's name originated from Thomas Moncks' landowner in 1728. I like how attractive this town is. It provides a very reliable, thriving opportunity for the citizens, it's safe, and it improves the quality of life of the people. Moncks Corner has complete municipal services and utilities for 10 000 residents. It has good public work, excellent recreational activity, and a safe street and sanitation. It's desirable to people.

Wow! It's really very amazing to win $500,000 in a lottery ticket. The odds are 800,000, and it's really so exciting. I will probably be in awe if I get this amount from the lottery, and I couldn't even think how much I would spend such an amount. I am really so happy to win a man from South Carolina after the South Carolina Education Lottery reports that a resident of Moncks Corner won the lottery. He dropped by from the Fuel Express on the North Highway 17 and picked up a $10 scratch-off lottery. He is fortunate to get a big win, and he deserves it!
Old Santee Canal Park in Moncks Corner, SC
The Old Santee Canal Park in Moncks Corner, SC, is one of the most amazing canals opened in the USA in 1800. It's an authentic canal that provides a close-up view of natural beauty and wildlife. I like the natural and cultural history found in the Stony Landing Plantation. This park has been very significant to the life of the people because it symbolizes the history of the people from the time it began. Based on what I have read, the Old Santee Canal Park is the first true canal built in the country. So proud that it's located very near us.

Friday-Monday, 13-16 November
Friday
(It is ages since I added to my blog so I will try to post some (probably abbreviated) notes to conclude this particular trip.)
Up early and doing the final clearing away of things to enable us to reconnect the van. We had breakfast and as we were packing the toaster and electric jug away under the sink, we discovered a big puddle of water and all the cardboard boxes we use to protect things as we travel were soggy messes. We took everything out and restowed them elsewhere, but we were still not quite sure where the leak was coming from until several days later – a slow leak in the cold water hose that obviously wasn’t cinched up tight enough by the plumber we used in Warragul. We just put an old towel in the cupboard to soak up any further drips as we travelled.
We drove to Bairnsdale where we topped up with cheap(?) fuel and a couple of hours’ worth of shopping, including lunch for the hungry driver and navigator and then drove the lovely road up to Omeo. We love Omeo and have stayed there before and enjoyed it. We loved it even more this time and really need to go back for a more extended stay. A big mob of bikers were camped there but they were relatively quiet overnight and left fairly early (definitely NOT quiet then though – I was concerned that the cliffs may have collapsed on us!) The caravan park is a bit kitch but the birds were friendly and we loved it. We had a good phone catch-up with each of our kids so that was great too.
We were both suffering very badly with hayfeeder. It had been troublesome for several days in Orbost and everyone is saying it is the worst hayfeeder season for many years. I guess that after the fires, all the grasses have had their best opportunity to flourish for a long time so there is a nose-full of pollen absolutely everywhere
Saturday
We drove to Colac Colac via Benambra and Nariel – picturesque, but what a scary road! It was very narrow and pretty rough with lots of mainly small fallen branches to keep us vigilant, but the precipitous edges gave us pause on numerous occasions. We only saw a few other cars – all on our side of the road – but it was very steep and with the caravan on, it was working our car (and its driver) pretty hard. Fortunately, the majority of the road was uphill. It was much more difficult going downhill, riding the overheated brakes so I was constantly shifting down to second and often first gear to slow our 6-tonne passage down the mountain toward Nariel. Despite the challenge of the drive, we enjoyed the scenery and once up on the plateau, the burnt-out forest was largely replaced by open paddocks and idyllic pastoral pursuits.
We got ourselves established in the caravan park but were so wrung out from the drive that we simply enjoyed our Happy Hour in the van and decided to explore the following day.
Sunday
We did very little today. We were still recovering a bit from the challenges of yesterday so spent most of the day in and around the van, getting more organised and catching up on more photos and paperwork.
Monday
We did some washing in the morning, edited more photos and wrote quite a bit. Heather posted quite a lot on Facebook so people could enjoy a bit more of our travels and I walked around the park and explored its birding potential. My hayfeeder was still bad, but I braved the pollen-filled air and saw quite a few birds. The Nariel Creek runs through the park and is quite lovely – very fast-flowing and potentially dangerous, but nobody was swimming anyway.
The park is quite big with extensive green lawns and not many patrons. There were a couple of unpowered areas with workmen enclaves ensconced in biggish groups but few caravans.
After lunch, we drove the 6-7 kilometres into Corryong and I got breathalysed as soon as we arrived. Fortunately, my reading was 0.0 so we were soon on our way again. We parked in town and walked the full length of town on both sides of the main road. Many of the shops were closed, but we went in and explored an old-fashioned emporium and a couple of other establishments, including the Information Centre.
We made a few essential purchases at the supermarket and topped up (and expanded) our range of hayfever meds at the pharmacy, then shared a wonderful icy cold milkshake and sat in the park to drink it.
We cooked another delicious pork roast for dinner and watched a bit more of Justified at night.
