Some makeovers for the newly added sims in Maple Hollow, with a bonus picture of Cassidy Doogler’s makeover too.

Mostly just me adding makeup and messing with my defaults, but I wanted to share.

Poor Dean and Ashiya look miserable unfortunately haha. Ashiya had bright pink hair to match her outfit before which she seemed to like better, but it’s the exact shade of the pink soup of doom and I just can’t look at that color without having a mini heart attack. They also actually live in Doogler Valley in a little house there.

Marge lives in an apartment I put down in Maple Hollow, which was originally a makeover of the Pleasant Vista Apartments, but is now re-named Hollow Vista because that just amused me.

I was asked (a few times throughout the years XD) about the apartment I use in Griffinmere, but I didn’t have a clean copy of it. But now I decided to rebuild the whole thing on a new lot, so now it’s up for grabs! :D

Its name is still Pleasant Vista Apartments MMO (maxis makeover), because it was that originally. You know it’s the weirdly angled one with the palm trees XD. Now it’s not weirdly angled. And doesn’t have palm trees. But has 4 apartment units between 1060-1300 simoleons.

Pro tip for those who use shiny water mods (like me): you can hide the pool square under the basketball field. It’ll still work :) (and you don’t have to rezone it to a normal lot to add the pool)

It uses one (1) piece of cc, which is the one tile Eaxis window addon on the ground floor, from this set. But it’s an awesome set, so you should have it anyways :P

As usual, please use Clean Installer just for sure! :D

round 1 - langerak

so like i mentioned, kaylynn langerak got pregnant at the end of pleasant family round 1

or rather, i had random dot org open every time she and daniel would woohoo, so that if i got a number between 1 and 20 shed get pregnant - and the last time they did it that round, the time when mary-sue caught them in the act AGAIN, random.org gave us a 17 rather than 56 or 87 or whatever wed been given before that

so that means kaylynn was made playable and moved into an apartment in the pleasant vista apartment complex 

i used the sim blender to get her pregnant with daniels baby

i dont have a npc job mod because am lazy as helllllll so were gonna say mary-sue told kaylynns boss about her sleeping with her customers and got her fired or WhAt EVeR

or she just decided it was time to quit and start over and to mark the start of a new era she got a little makeover

now as we know kaylynn is a family sim 

i gave her a secondary aspiration which turned out to be knowledge

she also has a college degree in philosophy, which, as we know, happens to be the major automatically assigned to any sims who still havent declared their major by ?? junior year?? fuck if i remember lol i could check but thats not the point here

the point IS that she may have chosen to work as a maid because she figured she had to work SOMEWHERE until deciding where she REALLY wants to work, if anywhere

and! she rolled the want to get a job in the paranormal career - and in the bottom pic there shes just looking for a job online - and found herself a job as a psychic phone pal (lvl 1)

gotta say i like how her career of choice kind of fits her degree

Now we’re onto that added lot I alluded to into my last post. I felt the ‘poor’ bit of Pleasantview could do with an actual trailer park. So Woodland Mobile Homes was born. The lot houses three identical, except for their colour schemes, trailers as well as a play park and a communal BBQ and skilling area.

Currently the Newson family are living in the blue trailer, which suits them well. I figured on an apartment lot I might not need to have Ginger and Gavin alternate skipping school, because their neighbours might babysit the toddlers. Obviously they could get a nanny but that doesn’t seem to really fit with their story. Pretty sure even the most useless nanny would be obligated to report two teenagers raising their siblings.

Also featured is Middle Lane Apartments, my makeover of the premade Pleasant Vista Apartments. This is situated where the empty 30 Middle Lane used to be. They are modern one bedroom, one bath apartments each with it’s own small outdoor deck. There is a communal back yard, with hot tub, BBQ area and some skilling objects. You can probably tell by now that I like my uniform colour schemes for housing. Once they are inhabitated I do tend to redecorate to suit the household.

Cyd Roseland and Porthos live in the pink apartment, which was an amusing error on my part. I meant to rent the green one but forgot to get him to check it out before I rented. I think he’s probably secure enough in his masculinity to not particulary care.
