Help Rem/Pixiel afford a Wheelchair!

I asked before looking for advice on getting a wheelchair - the best advice I've gotten so far is to open up my own fundraiser on GoFundMe to help me afford it! So here's my story explaining why I need the help;

Hi! My name is Rem / Pixiel. Some of you might already know me as the person who made the first Old Tumblr fix after the layout change! I haven't talked too much about myself online, so for those of you who don't know me let me talk about my health a little bit; I have Hypermobile-Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Arrhythmia, A floppy heart valve, balance issues, Suspected POTs & MCAS - and a myriad of other smaller comorbidities to go with it. I have daily pain in my wrists, hands, knees, neck, shoulders and hips. Basically all over my body! I tire easily due to my heart problem and have to take extra care not to injure myself. I’m currently someone who uses a cane (a really fab looking one!) but while it helps me get around the house and to and from the shop a few doors down the road - going beyond that around town often results in me having a lot of pain in my hips and knees, usually leaving me unable to do anything for the next couple of weeks - struggling to move around the house and get things done due to the pain. This is something I’ve put off for a long time, but I think it’s time I got a wheelchair. Unfortunately, as I am on benefits barely covering the cost of living, this is not something I can afford on my own; especially now that the government is trying to change the rules and make it more difficult for disabled people to afford anything or put us on vouchers. I need a wheelchair that is light enough for me to move and fold, one that isn't too bulky, as my rented house is not wheelchair accessible - as well as being a powered chair, as with my wrist pain I'd unlikely be able to use a manual chair without injury. After doing my own research I really love the idea of the "Monarch Carbon Lite Powerchair" though I'm currently working with a mobility provider to find the perfect chair for me! If you can help me pay towards my new Wheelchair I will be incredibly thankful! Please share and help me be able to afford it - so I can go out and about and live my life without injury and pain holding me back!

I don't know why, and its driving me just a little insane - but one of your posts and ONLY your post, once per refresh on my dashboard, eats another post. It just... Completely engulfs half of another persons post. I have literally never seen anyone else's posts do that and I cannot for the life of me explain why your tumblr posts, specifically, are so ravenous. It has happened four times!

(but for real that's actually hilarious and also fascinating bcs I've noticed the same thing happen on both desktop and mobile but for me it doesn't seem to be posts from a specific person, it just happens, and I assumed tumblr was just breaking again because it does that from time to time...now I'm wondering if it's specifically a problem with longer posts? I do tend to ramble a lot lmao, but yeah def something I'm going to start keeping an eye on to see if I can pick out a pattern)

Hit some key on my keyboard and ruin my stylus add on for tumblr and it took me like a full half hour to fix it including uninstalling and reinstalling and then desperately trying to find any userstyle that was still working so i do want to thank user @pixiel and their userstyle "Old Tumblr Dashboard" i owe you my life

all those gimmick blind box toys where you have to like, "dig up" or "make" the toy are rly weird. it's not just that you have to do a whole entire activity just to find out what you get, but the elements involved are like. it's like they're trying to cram in as many kid-popular gimmicks as possible

this is specifically about like, treasurex and those minecraft blind bags inside the plastic containers. you have slime, kinetic sand, wax cracking, shit that makes water fizz that you pour onto paper to dissolve it. sometimes all in the same toy. making it as lengthy and showy as possible because it'll make for a great unboxing video

and you only really get to partake in the process once, w nowhere left to really store all the crap you had to push through to get to the actual toy.

downloaded an extension to get the old dashboard back. not ideal, but necessary imo after they decided to go permanent with the twitter clone update.

just went onto tumblr desktop. immediately searched for tumblr extension and downloaded stuff to get this shit changed lmao

after inputting some complex algorithms into my super computer i’ve determined what tumblr will look like in the year 2020

Idk if anyone is over on Grundos Cafe (A Retro Neopets clone) - but I'm a moderator on there and we just had our special Artists Day Off Stamps released on 4/20!

@ everybody looking at the dashboard unfucker tag right now desperately looking for help because it suddenly stopped working. @pixiel's pinned post has a userstyle they developed that also reverts the dash back to the old style!! go get it now!!

i got the old tumblr dashboard back T_T i used the xkit rewriten options in this post and installed the firefox application called stylus and installed this script by @pixiel through it for the old tumblr layout <3
