#Pinched nerve in back

I got home from the hospital last night. I can't sit upright or really walk anywhere bc of vertigo and the numbness in my legs is worse than it was before but that's suspected to pass within the next few days.

that's not the point of this post tho. when I got home I was out of my skull on the nerve pain medicine and panicking bc I am. unhealthy emotionally dependent on my cat Changuita Prime and couldn't check on her since she can't really get on the bed on her own. (Manx syndrome).

She doesn't like being on the bed either, she knows she can't get down again and doesn't like her movement through the apartment to be that constrained, but I needed her so my father put her in bed with me.

she stayed beside me the entire night. my arms are bruised from her making biscuits. She usually gets bored after a few minutes and stands at the edge of the bed meowing for help getting down.

Its the first time she's done that since she was little, I think she knows on some level that I'm sick and need her right now.

It may be my back/shoulder/neck pain talking but I feel like Dammon would be great at massages. His hands are always warm because blacksmith/tiefling thing?. He's good with his hands thanks to his craft but said hands are also quite strong with all the hammering/heavy weapons/armors carrying.

You'd have to insist for him to use more strength because he'd be scared to hurt you but once you’ve got the pressure you want it's like heaven on earth. Well, on Faerun.

i am hoping to never have to get another colonoscopy again (until i’m old enough to need to get them etc etc) but tbh i would very much like to experience the relief and comfort i felt when i woke up, was able to eat a warm meal (meatloaf + mashed potatoes, perfect comfort food (and it being soft was great bc i had had a endoscopy and broncoscopy done too so my throat was SORE)) for the first time in over 24 hours, got to wear super comfy anti-blood-clot compression boots, was on regular doses of IV tylenol and therefore the most pain free i had been in ages, and then got to sleep for the rest of the day. AND there was the joy of being told i didn’t have crohn’s. it was solid

I've never hit another person in anger and I've never found myself having violent thoughts, but I do think if you have nerve pain for longer than like three days in a row you should legally be allowed to kill people

But for real I can't stomach watching SVU like I thought I would be able to because there's too many hospitals and too many people getting beat up, so I have been surviving off of Schitt's Creek and lilsimsie twitch vods and am swiftly running out of both. Please send comedy suggestions 😩

Trying to acknowledge my wins today bcuz I feel like a complete failure ! I called for my prescription refill which I will definitely pick up tomorrow because I will run out of medication tomorrow 😐 and I made a doctors appointment which is honestly terrifying and I’m scared and anxious and scared
