A while ago, I had a dream where Picky got murdered by some backstabbing Genie. She got cut in half, and everyone got launched far away. Upon them waking up, they discovered that Picky was currently dying on the ground. They all gathered around and got all emotional, saying things like “You can’t die” or “We’re going to save you, just please hang on”…but Picky knew her time was up. And right on cue, as she took her last breath, the others were forced to run away to avoid the oncoming rock avalanche, leaving her corpse behind (to Kickin’s dismay)

Then, after the coast was clear, and when they all went back home, everyone mourned her death and held a funeral for her. Kickin (who’s Picky’s brother in my personal AU, and ig was in the dream too) has a really hard time accepting her death, and went through the stages of grief.

But then- some random scientist guy (he was a giraffe) dug up her death site, scooped up her remains, and brought it back to his lab, where he reconstructs Picky and turned her into a robot. When she reawoke in her new body, she was confused and scared, and asked the scientist where her friends are and how long she’s been out. Turns out she’s been dead for half a year now, which is when she notices her robotic state. She freaks out and then runs away to go find them again, but she was unfortunately very far away from their hometown.

Just as she arrived, she saw the very same genie that killed her attacking her friends once again. Angry, she used her new robot abilities to take him down for good. Having watched this, the others were stunned, and think they’re hallucinating. They all get emotional, but then they get sceptical if she’s really the real Picky. The days following, the others are weird towards her, and Kickin flat out says “You’re not my sister, my sister’s dead! You’re just a robot!!” Which wounds her deeply, but she understands. And all the while she’s still coping with the fact that she’s a robot herself, and having to adjust to her new body.

It was only when Bubba had some experiments done on Picky, he discovered she had an organic brain, which confirmed she, was in fact, the real Picky. Everyone was overjoyed, and cheered over the fact that they had their Picky back…though Kickin was hesitant to accept he, he eventually came around.

And then she was just Picky, but a robot. Things were different, but resumed as normal. Anddd she was pretty bummed over not being able to eat anymore. But she was happy, and funny robot shenanigans ensued.

It was like a fucking movie, I tell ya.

I might turn it into an AU.

These were actually doodles I drew right after my New Years art, because I surprisingly still had energy left in the tank, I never planned on releasing them or even colouring them to be honest but I really like how they came out

Asked my friends for drawing prompt ideas and this was the outcome, ignore the cans of beans copy and paste.. again I didn’t plan to post it so I got lazyyyy a bit sorryyy

Anyways I remembered that Easter comic with Bunzo and in the theoretical sense where he lives I feel like he’d have PTSD over birds so.. hope he never meets Kickin or Poe!

🌙The characters displayed in the comics remain in strictly platonic relationships, are embodiment of innocence and purity. They do not contain a trapped, poor souls of a broken child, nor a scientist. They are seated in a cartoon world, which is not infulencing PoppyPlaytime’s original storyline🌙
