I’m sorry but if the first time you use the term “love” on screen to describe whatever is going on between Alina and Mal while Alina is talking to Aleksander, in Alina and Aleksander’s shared dream-space vision, how am I supposed to... not see that as her trying to make him jealous? I’m not seeing any other read here aside from that??

Also could she have undressed the kefta any more sensually than turning her back to him and looking at him over her shoulder? I feel like if you’re not trying to actively seduce him, you could have angrily pulled it off while facing him, but this felt more like seductively undressing for him than anything else.

You know, I may hate Baghra, but at least she makes Darklina sound even more intense than it already looks to me - and I thought I already had an intense perception of them.

But her pointing out to Alina that the bond has to be a two-way street and that Aleksander can’t access it on his own, that Alina has to be thinking of him too.

That she was bursting with energy after her lil meeting with him, highlighting just how much raw power it really gives Alina when the two interact.

Making Alina confess in very... unnecessarily sensual details (”I feel him, his hands on me”, not unnecessary to me, as a shipper, but feels like a weird way to put it when you talk to his mom) how it all was (”It felt different, I felt different. I felt free. The power was angry, but it was mine, mine alone.”), it feels so empowering?

Sure she follows it up with saying that she feels like he takes it, but baby girl, shared power doesn’t have to mean taking away. It means sharing. You make each other stronger, that’s incredible. It’s also, once again, soulmate behavior.

Baghra is truly an amplifier. She amplifies Darklina.

Out of the “not in the show yet” characters - because I’m a nosy bitch who snooped through the wiki as soon as s1 finished to see what other characters were yet to come - I was genuinely the most curious about them because I love me a good sibling dynamic they can be so much fun.

I hope I’ll love their personalities as much as I already love their looks.
