A Night at The Library Bar – A #LitPhilly Experience
Location: The Library Bar, The Rittenhouse Hotel, PhiladelphiaDate of Visit: August 30, 2024
Tam and I arrived at The Library Bar around 8 PM, excited to explore what this spot inside The Rittenhouse Hotel had to offer. From the moment we walked in, it was clear this wasn’t your average bar. The hotel itself is a beacon of luxury, and the bar, nestled on the first floor, was easy to find with…
Still thinking about how someone at the party I was at last night mentioned Always Sunny in a conversation with someone else on the other side of the room and I was suddenly Activated.
Had a lovely time trying not to be too weird, but also definitely being weird and getting to explain the insane context for some of the stuff on the show to @pog-mo-bhlog, then realised that I had apparently got so excited that I was no longer overstimulated, as I had taken my headphones off and didn't need them for the rest of the night.
It's like a special autism bonus. Activate my special interest and I will successfully cope with an overstimulating environment.
Of course, I did then go home and watch some Sunny.
Charlie paused mid-sweeping up broken glass to watch the woman who had just entered the bar, a confused look on his face. He’d been extra sensitive to smells lately, but the way hers just… broke through the rest of his senses was weird. It wasn’t something that had happened to him before and he wasn’t sure what to do about it.
has anyone made a progress flag that doesn't have the ugly pastels? in fact i think it would be neat to see a progress flag that reintroduces the original magenta and turquoise stripes (removed for production price factors that no longer exist) as the pink and blue for the trans progress triangle - at least that wouldn't introduce random pastels and keep everything one coherent color palette!
