Check out Barkcamp SP, Belmont, Ohio, United States - eBird Hotspot to view what birds have been spotted and logged by over 85 birders. Pete enjoys his trips to Barkcamp, a state park located just outside of Morristown. One part of camping we really enjoy is cooking at the campsite. Cast iron skillet cooking over an open fire to cook dinner and then switch in the morning to more conventional cooking for the bacon and eggs breakfast, cooked inside the camper. We like the taste of our own food and enjoy slowly waking up to the smell of breakfast and coffee. This weekend there were groups of friends who booked camp sites all together and were having a fun time laughing and enjoying each other’s company. One group brought folding tables and sat around together for lunch; another group rented all of the sites in the Group Camping area and a third group were people who worked with together in the school system and made time for a weekend getaway before school starts. The Kruse family loves to cook their meals when they go camping on weekends. If you are a day hiker, look no further. There are over 20 miles of hiking trails between a half-mile walk on Storybook Trail and 7.4 miles on the Blue Trail. And, on occasion, you will get to share the trail with people on horseback. YES! pete was such a sweetheart to sam 🥺 and since he gave a speech at sam’s party (alongside gibby and wendy), is it safe to assume that he’s also a close friend of the gang? i truly hate how the og writers kinda forgot about him and wendy. he deserved so much better and i wanted to see more from him. i think he could’ve been a nice recurring character.

shane and freddie are different fonts of each other LMAO but kidding aside, he truly is a more assertive freddie. freddie didn’t deserve the treatment he got from the girls, but i guess he loved and cared about them both too much to actually leave their friend group—good to see that in the revival they’re all equals though. also, nice mention on the foreshadowing. we didn’t exactly see carly and sam fight over freddie, due to the weird brush-off-at-once writing in the og show, but they eventually both dated him at different times. it’s just funny how they instantly fell for shane’s looks. i know that the friendship probably overshadowed the possibility of them liking freddie when they were kids, but it’s hard to believe that they didn’t even find freddie objectively “good-looking” (because i’d honestly have a crush on him in high school if he were my schoolmate, if it was just based on looks alone LMAO).

'I don't want to die,' Anita Williams aka Bangalore thought to herself as she faded into the darkness slowly, memoirs and happy life moments ran through her head, show casing the good the bad and even when she joined the games and became a legend. soon a rush of air filled her diaphragm and she was pulled to the surface of a sea of memories,

fluorescent lights casted a soft green glow to everything around her the white room she was resting in casted a mint green back into her eyes, the smell of chemicals rushed through the nostril's wrinkling her nose; she slowly sat up when Makoa Gibraltar, and Ramya Parekh came into the room

"my god mate, your alive! the cure worked" Ramya otherwise known as rampart in the games hugged the woman who sat in the hospital bed, "it was touch and go there, Anita. but i am glad you are okay now Brudda"

Anita sighed and tightened the hug around the woman who hung over her shoulders before the woman drew back and patted her shoulder playfully. "have you seen loba yet?" Ramya then asked Anita with big friendly smile plastered over her lips

"oh she just woke up for petes sake!" Gibby shoved the smaller woman softly "what i want some bow-Chicca-pow-wow", before looking to the solider. Anita thought back how she watched loba fall through the ships floor Icarus. how she thought about her brother. god what if she lost loba blinking back tears, a smirk played upon dry lips

"hah, girl..better check that door". Anita Sighed, "...we're just friends"

Ramya and Gibby gave each other a look then chuckled to themselves, anita raised a brow

the next few weeks, loba seemed distance cold and curt to her text messages, and usually Anita would get a reply to her 'you up?' text messages; but no, nothing and it made her wonder what Anita did wrong, what made it worse was that with this chasm that opened between Loba and her.

she noticed the closeness between the new Legend Kairi Imahara, or "Valkyrie". they hair end twirls the stop and fawn the look loba shares with Kairi seems almost like a lover, stirring deep and unsettling a feeling formed in the bottom of Anita's Gut and she truly had no idea how to handle it and she could not pinpoint why it was there, Anita truly did not feel this type of way towards couples. maybe it was because of the look of distain that Anita was shown often by Loba.

Kairi would smirk and sneer behind friendly remarks that truly had a underlying meaning to each word the girl said. a snake in a corpse of titan, fitting. with the absence of loba Anita found herself taking company in Wraith. while her and Anita Got in a squabble over her knife. and Anita confess the Hatred she had for the headcase. and it mad her more upset. she rather look for her brother with someone she liked or even octane for heavens sake.

it was well after midnight, the games had finish several hours before. Anita sat in her typical black Tank and cargo pants. sipping whiskey neat watching the legends mingle around her. mirage flirting with wraith, Wattson and Crypto resting in a nearby booth. before her head rotated to the corner of the paradise lounge seeing loba and Valkyrie.

her heart leapt into her mouth, nearly choking on the drink she gingerly had sipped on "whoa hey!" Elliot Witt called out handing her a cloth, dabbing the white spot grumbling curses in huffed breathes. Mirage followed anitas gaze to what made her choke seeing Valk and Loba flirting in booth sitting too close to one another it seemed that they were rather chummy.

"Ah, i see. that must sting" Anita shot a glare to Elliot, who whistled and throwing the cloth she gave back to the man over his shoulder, "what- you were Like really Really close with loba- I MEAN like as friends right? uh- maybe more- but i recall that being you a few.. few months-", Anita's eyes narrowed, amber hues glaring into Elliot's soul who visibly grew uncomfortable; "well like you two flirted all the time it and didn't you guys even-"

"Stop talkin',"

"yeah ok-okay i'll do that"

anita threw a dollar bill to the counter bill and stood from the stool shooting a glare over to the two chummy buddies in the bar, and left to find another bar. one where this feeling that made her ears go hot with rage.

ranking of Crazy ex girlfrind songs by season (part 3) Season 3

I was very excited about season 3. How Rebecca was going to get her revenge on Josh, find herself and maybe get some actual self help. Well this season did all that and more, and took the show into some new and dark territories. 

While I feel that that story was very strong this year the songs...were not. 

There were a lot less of them, they weren’t that memorable and there were a lot of clunkers. Anyone remember Valencia’s song about her...movement? Or that sarcastic clunker The Moment is me?Yeaaaah. 

If i could I would make 1-10 fuckton of cats, but I don’t think I can do that. 

theme- you do (don’t) want to be crazy - 

so my interpretation of this song is the media’s views of what Crazy is. Is it someone who will destroy the lover who wrongs her? is it the girl who is going crazy for not seeing you? Is it the woman who is “crazy in bed,” or the rapper who is saying don’t mess with me cause I’m nuts?

1.) Fuckton of Cats- I know! you guys are so surprised!

my favorite song of the season! it came out of left field This song includes a great dance number of the ladies pretending to be cats, puppets and a random person screaming “ AND CATTTS!”

For some reason people think that if you are a single person of a certain age you are doomed to be a cat lady. This song addressed this idea, with a wink. The song is also very informative about toxoplasmosis, a disease that was probably covered in that Atlantic article. stay tuned till the end for reality to set in. 10/10 

2.) Let’s generalize about men - what time is it? oh! its time to talk about the patriarchy and get drunk.

this parody of the weather girls is spot on calling out women who get drunk and dish on all men for being dirt bags. All men you say?

3.) Life doesn’t make narrative sense (song at the end of the movie) 

Rebecca has hit rock bottom, and has crossed some lines. She has alienated all of her friends and has no one to turn to. In a TV show this would be wrapped up neatly but alas life is messy and she needs to face her demons. The song is sad and captures the correct tone and somehow its so funny.

kudos to the show for getting Josh Groban. I spit out my drink when he appeared singing his own name. claps

4.) I go to the Zoo  So I didn’t give this song much thought until my sister kept playing it.  Nathaniel is such a piece of crap, so what does he do when he’s anxious? he goes to the zoo.

The visuals are fantastic. Love the zookeepers looking uncomfortable. You know Nathaniel is like a big time donor and no one ever tells him no, even when they really should. He probably got Susan fired, jerk.

5.) the miracle of birth- I don’t know what it is but I love it when Paula sings a happy upbeat song about something gross (i.e. Season 2 Maybe this dream)

Who doesn’t want an informative song about birthing which no new mom actually wants to hear. 

Fun fact, two men wrote this song after hearing/interviewing a bunch of the female writers who were moms. Donna’s look of crazy glee and the rest of the people getting ready to lose it was just amazing. Kudos to David Wain throwing up and Valencia whipping out that phone to record.

6.) the first penis I saw I love this Abba style song I love the gross and funny the lyrics of the song (”it nearly made me drop my jaw”) 

and the visual gags of the video like when they spun on the turntable and had to bail because Jeff was coming or the use of vegetables as microphones.  

7.) maybe she’s not a such a heinous bitch after all- so Rebecca's mother is the literal worst, and instead of talking to her daughter or trying to help her, she drugs her.

here is a fun happy 1960′s number that sings about Rebecca not wanting her mom to have a cancerous mole! Dark.

8.) Hot fit guys have problems too- so I was waiting for these two guys to meet and I was not disappointed. Both fresh off a breakup, they have something that the world needs to know. Just because they have almost no body fat and exit a pool in slow motion doesn’t mean they don’t  have feelings.

and give them back their shirts, you MONSTERS! As I suspected in the blooper reel the rip off pants, did not go according to plan. 

9.) hot angry tango-  I feel like I had to chose between this and strip away my conscience. In the end, its my list and I like hot angry tango better. They are super angry but also really want to bang.

honestly they do a really good job with the dancing despite the height difference. Also shout out to the judge for getting into it and playing the accordion.

10.) I feel like this isn’t about me I’m probably in the minority for liking this song. Its short, sweet and has a nice samba, reminiscent of the girl from Ipanema. Its good to get an outsiders perspective on how weird everyone in that office is. Bonus points for talking about brazilian meat.

honorable mention- buzzing in the bathroom 

While I like this song and its parody of Les Miserable, its not quite good enough for repeated listens. Great song, great delivery. He just can’t believe it, that he has never satisfied his wife.

A Diagnosis- I have to give them props for being serious for once. Rebecca is actually going to get some answers and thinks this is going to solve all of her problems. 

This song sounds the closest to being in an actual musical, so hopeful like a Disney “I want song." I also appreciate the conversation about mental health. Fun fact, I had a roommate that had BPD and recognized the signs in Rebecca during season 1.

worst song- My sperm is healthy I really don’t feel like they gave Pete Gardner much to do vocally this season, but this celebratory techno rap song sticks out, but not in a good way. Its gross, its funny. Its got dancing sperm and a rave. Its so cringy.

Blues Jays only 8 games under .500

Greetings everyone!

For those of you watching hockey last night there was quite a baseball game going on at The Rogers Centre. After the first inning the home team was up 3-2 on a Jose Bautista three run line drive home run. Repeat :a Jose Bautista three run line drive home run. However Francisco Liriano was brutal last night. He was charged with all seven Cleveland runs and it was 7-3 Cleveland going into the B3. Gibby hooked Liriano in the third for Dominic Leone, after pitching coach Pete Walker was ejected for arguing with umpire Vic Carapazza. That's Thin Skinned Vic Carapazza.

While there was temptation to watch Game 7 between the always chocking Washington Capitals and the defending Stanley Cup Champion Pittsburgh Penguins...I stuck with Dan Shulman's broadcast and was rewarded with the Blues Jays chipping  away with two in the third and two in the fourth to tie it.  Big Hi-light and Turning Point was The Marble Guy's  stunning two run HR in the B4 to tie the game. Holy Shit Batman The Marble Guy is tonight's First Star! Ryan Goins won it in the 9th with a base hit down the RF line to score The Marble Guy who singled off Cody Allen. What looked like certain 10 games under .500 is now eight games under .500 Three Stars of Tonight's 8-7 Sweet Win as Selected by The Luck of Manager John Gibbons Third Star The Bullpen: Leone, Barnes, Tepera, Smith and Osuna who shutout the Indians the rest of the way. ( Note: no Howell, Loup or Grilli action tonight)   Second Star Ryan Goins 3 for 4, two RBIs. Gibby batted him #6 in the lineup tonight!  First Star  Ezequiel Carrera ties the game with a two run HR and then gets on base in the ninth to score the winning run. Gibby loves Zeke and it worked tonight 

Blues Jays take two of three from the Cleveland Indians. That's a good thing. Two wins, the first a 4-2 clean victory with a super human outfield catch. Good defence makes for good pitching and a Goins 2 run HR really helped. The second a come from behind 8-7 walkoff win. Again good defence and good bullpen pitching. Encouraging. Especially when Ryan Goins figures prominently in both wins. Remove Francisco Liriano's performance and last night's pitching effort is impressive, especially young Danny Barnes and younger Roberto Osuna.  The record is now 13-21. Eight games under and still a long, long way to .500....two of three from Cleveland is what they needed and got. 

Andrew Stoeten writes at BlueJaysNation.com that the Blue Jays have an opportunity over the next 8 games to close the gap on getting to the .500 mark with four games against injury riddled Seattle and four against the Bartolo Colon / RA Dickey Atlanta Braves. Stoeten's blog used to be called Drunk Jays Fans and I think Stoeten wrote this article under the influence. While it would be nice to rattle off 8 wins there is not enough talent to pull that off. The Jays will play a bunch of games like their 6-0 loss  to Cleveland on Tuesday night because the Blues Jays are still a banged up team. It's wait and see on Kendrys Morales' hamstring and Devon Travis hasn't gone on the DL yet. (Although I believe Ryan Goins will be at 2B when Tulowitzki possibly returns next week in Atlanta).... Can they win 5 or  6 of the next eight?  If they do everyone gets excited. But to win 6 they must win three of four  in each series.....That's a stretch for this team, not impossible, but a stretch.

Here is something else to consider...First Place NY Yankees (21-10) have a 9.5 game lead on Toronto. The second wild card is held by Boston 17-16.....no make that Minnesota at 16-14. Two games above .500. Toronto is 5.0 games behind. You have to get help from the other teams and hope that they  keep floundering...The Blues Jays are still in a big hole, but when you win two of three from Cleveland, that light at the end of the tunnel, does not resemble a freight train. I am still not ready to say The Best Has Come And Gone... a lot of things change over 4.5 months. One Game at a Time....
