Sakura is now target trained!

Look to the left of the orange target I'm holding and you'll see her follow the target then place her nose on it. She's better behaved than some dogs! 😊

Many snakes at zoos are trained this way to get venomous snakes to move when needed, such as into holding areas out of the enclosure when it needs to be cleaned, or onto a scale to weigh them and check their health.

My girls aren't dangerous, it's usually the opposite problem! Often Sakura is very timid and shy, so she'll hide where she can see me but I can't see her. Target training her will get her to come to me when it is feeding day if I can't find her but she can see me. It's also to help her avoid any confusion between feeding time and handling time- no target means no food!

Just wanted to share something we've been working on, I'm so proud of her for learning this challenging exercise!

cats released a pomo supercut for playoff interviews and theres like 2 clips of him bullying ekky (pomo jokingly saying ekkys out of the lineup because he was responsible for the sole giveaway of the night; and pomo mentioning ekky eating shit at morning skate and going "that was pretty funny") but theres like more instances where he does that during playoffs for example re: telling an anecdote where ekky, like the proud man he was, was moody at morning skate after a -2 game vs the bs and the next game he redeems himself and goes "whatd you expect" to paul ofc more cursing was definitely involved but you know we have to remain pg around here and re: when paul gets told ekky praised the coaching staff he goes "well that was very nice of aaron to say i didnt think he was listening"

I haven't actually seen any memes about the Haitians eating pets thing, but I have seen a post about how 'you just watch, the LiBeRaLs are going to be making memes about it' about a thousand times.

Which is wild because if there is one thing this election cycle has taught us it's that mocking the right's stupid racist harmful beliefs is the one thing that works! It's like this leftist is saying "you better not use an effective weapon against the dangerous beliefs of the Right, because that would make you such a cringe lib" And thousands of leftist then reblog it going 'yeah, that's right!'

I feel like it's another point in favor of horseshoe politics. The Right and The leftists are both over-serious humorless morality police that can't make a funny joke and completely fall apart in the face of a funny joke. Which makes sense because they both share the same single punch line: liberal.

Black humor works. It throws the tragedy into clearer relief, helps to buoy the targets, and highlights the stupidness of the attackers. When you know who the target should be anything can be funny. But maybe that's the problem. The leftists and the right only have one target, and if a joke isn't at the expense of liberals it must obviously be morally wrong.
