¡Hello! Could you request the Cullen family and adopted male reader? where the reader was sweet and outgoing before, but when he reached adolescence he became rebellious and rude (something like in the movie Thirtheen).
PS: I'm sorry if you don't understand me much, English is not my main language.
Fractured Reflections
Pairing : The Cullen Family x Adopted reader Tags: Platonic, Teenage rebellion, Family feelings Word count : 860 Y/n: Your name L/n: your last name
The sound of exuberant laughter echoed through the halls of the Cullen house, a distant memory of what once was. Sunlight streamed through the large windows, illuminating the exquisite décor and the faces of the family: Edward, Esme, Carlisle , Alice, Jasper, Emmett, and Rosalie. They were gathered in the living room, exchanging looks of concern.
“He used to be so bright,” Alice sighed, her usually bubbly personality dimmed with worry.
“He’s lost his way,” Esme added softly, her heart heavy with the struggles of their adopted son , Y/N. Once known for his wide smile and infectious laughter, Y/N had transformed into a shadow of his former self; rebellious, rude, and hiding secrets behind a mask of indifference.
“Maybe we should talk to him,” Edward suggested, his brow furrowed. As the mind reader of the family, he had witnessed the turmoil swirling in Y/N’s head, a storm of anger and confusion battling with their love. But confronting him had proven difficult. He had built walls around his emotions, rebuffing their attempts to reach him.
Just then, the front door slammed shut, and the atmosphere thickened with dread. Y/N stood in the doorway, breathless with adrenaline, his face flushed from the adrenaline rush of whatever teenage escapade He’d plunged into this time. Dressed in black ripped jeans, a band tee, and a leather jacket, He looked every inch the embodiment of rebellion.
“I’m home,” He muttered, sarcasm dripping from her voice. There was no warmth, no acknowledgment of his family standing in the room.
“Y/N,” Alice began, her voice filled with genuine concern. “We were just talking about—”
“Talking about what? How I should dress differently, or how I should be more like a perfect, little Cullen?” He shot back, eyes cold. “I’m not going to fit into your perfect little family mould, Alice. Got it?”
The words stung more than anyone could have imagined. His family had always provided him with endless love and acceptance, and yet, He stood, wielding that love like a weapon.
“Y/N, please,”Carlisle interjected gently, his calm demeanour attempting to soothe the storm brewing in her heart. “We care about you. We’re just worried.”
“All you guys do is worry,” He snapped, turning away from them. “I’m fine. I can take care of myself.”
With a heavy sigh, Edward took a step forward. “No, you’re not,” he said, his voice firm but layered with tenderness. “You used to share everything with us. What happened?”
Y/N hesitated, the walls He had been building starting to crack. He wanted to scream, to shout that He felt lost, that the world felt too big and constraining at the same time. Instead, He simply shrugged. “I grew up, okay?”
“Is that what you think this is?” Emmett’s booming voice broke into the tension. “Being a kid isn’t about fitting into some image. It’s about figuring out who you are. But you’re making choices that can hurt you. We just want to help.”
Y/N spun to face him, anger sparking in his eyes. “Help? By being judgmental? By sticking your noses where they don’t belong? You don’t understand what it’s like to feel trapped, to feel like everyone expects you to be something you’re not!”
“Then let us in,” Esme urged, stepping forward. “Talk to us, Y/N. We’re your family. We love you no matter what.”
The words hung in the air, and Y/N felt something shift within him. The anger He had clung to so tightly felt flimsy in the presence of their unwavering love. He looked at each of their faces, and for the first time in a long while, He felt a flicker of vulnerability.
“Everyone at school… they change so fast,” He began, his voice wavering. “I thought I had to change too. I thought it would help me fit in. But all it’s done is push me away from you guys. I don’t want to lose you.”
“You’re not losing us,” Edward reassured him, stepping closer until they were face-to-face. “We’ll always be here, no matter what.”
Tears began to pool in Y/N’s eyes, the façade cracking as the emotions poured forth. He hated feeling so weak, but the warmth of familial love was too overwhelming to resist.
“I just… I feel so lost sometimes,” He confessed, his voice shaking. “And I don’t know how to find my way back.”
Emmett stepped forward, placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder. “Finding yourself doesn’t mean losing who you’ve been. You’re still Y/N. You’re still our brother, and we want to help you navigate this.”
Alice rushed to his side, enveloping Y/N in a warm embrace, followed by Esme and the rest of the family. They formed a circle of support, a reaffirmation of love in the midst of confusion.
“You’re allowed to be a work in progress,” Rosalie said softly, a rare tenderness shining through. “We all are.”
And for the first time, He felt the flicker of his old self—a self that never truly disappeared, just buried beneath layers of rebellion.

All'inizio, fa male.
E così, continuiamo a camminare.

Akaashi Keiji x Fem! Reader
『Facing Your Fear』
Part 3 of The Moment I Knew
"Ughh! Nooo, you don't understand!!" You groaned into a pillow, sitting on Kenma's couch. It had been a painful two weeks since you'd met up with Akaashi at the café. Despite your promise to stop avoiding him you just couldn't bring yourself to bring the same friendliness to the table you did before. Naturally after you had told Kuroo about your more than awkward meeting with Akaashi, which you decided was a mistake as soon as the words were out of your mouth, he had insisted to 'help out a friend' in his words, and next thing you knew you were at Kenma's, of course dragged there by Kuroo, ranting about the whole situation to the guys. Bokuto who was slurping on his noodles on the floor just looked at you with a big question mark over his face.
"Yeah, I honestly don't. All you have to do is take your shot."
You looked at him as if he'd lost his mind. "And risk getting rejected?!"
"Can't you stay friends even if he rejects you?"
It baffled you just how he didn't seem to understand the gravity of the situation you were in. You opened your mouth to say something but Kenma was faster than you. Without turning his face away from the huge screen he was playing a video game on, he gave his two cents to the conversation.
"If you ask me he totally has a thing for you. Not that I asked him or anything but he's always disgustingly friendly when you're around."
"Duh," you replied immediatly, rolling your eyes and trying to hide the fact that the idea of him being specifically friendly with you felt really good. "We're friends. Of course he's friendly. He's a friendly person in general."
"Uhm- yeah, to you. He's friends with us too but with you his friendliness reaches a whole new level. Are you really that oblivious?"
Kuroo who was watching Kenma play turned his head to look at you with a sly smile. "Yupp. You know, he's really not all that nice actually. He's just polite. But to you, he is actually really nice so I think that says a lot."
(Y/n)," Bokuto said with an uncharacteristic seriousness as he put his empty cup of noodles down. "Do you want me to ask him for you if he likes someone?'
Your eyes almost fell out of their sockets upon hearing Bokuto's offer. "Are you crazy?! No! Even if he did like me back, if I make a move after you ask him he's gonna know you asked for me!"
Your grey haired friend tilted his head. Everything about your logic just seemed illogical to him. "Is that a bad thing?" He questioned, scratching the back of his head.
"Well- I mean- I don't know. I just don't want to embarass myself." With a pathetic whine you sank your head onto the pillow on your lap again. Just why did feelings have to be so complicated?
"I still don't get why we're having this conversation at my place," Kenma muttered slightly irritated under his breath. "Is it really that much of a big deal?"
"Hey, now now Kenma, come on. A little more support for our dear friend y/n over here."
Kenma sighed, putting his console down and turned around in his chair. "I agree with Bokuto. Give it a shot. Or don't. It's up to you, really."
You let out long muffled sigh into the pillow. "Very helpful, thanks."
"Sure." Kenma turned around in his chair again, his focus back on the screen. You felt like you were getting nowhere, if anything running in circles with this stupid meet-up.
"Anyway," you sighed again as you stood up from the couch. "I'm going home."
"Already? We didn't even get to make a proper plan," Bokuto tied to stop you, frantically getting up as well.
"No need. I'll just-
"Keep on avoiding him for the rest of your life and ruin a good friendship in the process for the sake of not letting down your walls?"
"Woah, Kuroo." Everyone in the room turned their heads to look at him as if an alien had just landed in the middle of the room. Kuroo just shrugged with a smug smile, clearly enjoying the reactions he got.
"I read about it online. Something about fear of vulnerability."
"What," you laughed at him. "You're my therapist now or something?"
"Nope. Just a good friend." His smug smile faded into a more serious expression as he crossed his arms. "But honestly. You can't live your entire life like this. It's not healthy."
"Thanks. I'll keep that in mind Mr. therapist."
"So you're leaving for sure?" He asked.
Bokuto looked at you with his curious golden eyes. You knew that both of them genuinely wanted to help you but you didn't even know what to do of this whole situation yourself. Was it as Kuroo had said? Were you scared of letting down your walls? It sounded pathetic to think of yourself like that but what if he was right? As if he'd read your mind Kuroo came to word again.
"You know the best way to conquer a fear is by facing it straight on and trusting that you're capable of dealing with it." His smile returned and somehow, even if his words seemed easier said than done, it gave you a little more confidence. Bokuto gave him a friendly slap on his back, his own confident smile matching Kuroo's.
"Hey! That was good!" He then turned to look at you. "Yes, you heard it! Believe in yourself and face your fear y/n! We are so behind you and rooting for you!"
"And even if things don't work out," Kenma cut to word causing everyone to turn to look at him, "you'll still live."
"What?" Kuroo sounded pleasently surprised at Kenma's input. "I thought you were gonna tell me how I'm all sappy or cliché or something."
Kenma shrugged without turning away from his screen, his back facing the rest of you. "Just cause it's sappy or whatever doesn't mean it's not true. I have no problem giving credit where it's due."
Eventually with the confidence boost you'd gotten from your friends they'd made you promise that you would confess to Akaashi withing this week. However, as soon as that confidence faded you were left with a promise that you regretted to have ever made in first place. Days passed and nothing, even your friends' occasional reminders did not seem to give you that little push you needed to get out of your comfort zone, and as the week was coming closer to it's end with still no confession from you, Kuroo and Bokuto knew they had to land you a hand or else you'd drive yourself insane into eternity.
So on saturday evening you found yourself infront of Kuroo's doorstep. He invited you and Bokuto over to have dinner together since it had been so long since you guys had gotten together like that, to eat and chit-chat. That's what he told you over the phone.
The door opened and revealed a Kuroo who was cheekily grinning as he welcomed you in. You knew that grin meant shenanigans and furrowed your brows.
"What's up with the grimace?" You asked him suspicously as you hang your jacket on a hanger.
"Just happy to see my friend," he shrugged, which earned him an eyeroll from you and you both headed to the living room only for you to realize what his stupid grin was all about.
"Hey," you said awkwardly as your breath felt as if it got caught in your chest. "Kuroo didn't say uh- that you'd be here too."
"Hey," Akaashi averted his gaze from the TV, looking up at you from his seat on the floor around the Kotatsu. "Is that a problem?"
"No! Not at all." A nervous chukle escaped your lips. "Just surprised, that's all." You shrugged like it was no big deal to you but your mind was racing a million thoughts per second. He wouldn't bring up the topic of why you were still distant from him again despite your talk at the café, right? Even worse, what if Kuroo or Bokuto let something slip? You didn't trust the two a bit. You should've known you'd be walking straight into their trap when Kuroo insisted you come no matter what.
Bokuto's face lit up upon seeing you at the door and he immediatly got up to pull you into a tight hug.
"Hey hey hey! Y/n! So good to see you!"
"Yeaah, good to see you too," you hugged him back, holding yourself back from kicking him instead. There was no way he wasn't part of this.
As he released the hug you stopped him by his sleeve for a moment and hissed: "you did this on purpose, didn't you?"
Bokuto looked at you as if he was confused by your question but you caught the knowing glimmer in his eyes anyway. Instead of answering he just gave you his brightest smile like a happy kid who got a present and went back to sit down on the floor. Kuroo gestured for you to take a seat around the Kotatsu as well and with a defeated sigh you dragged yourself over to them and sat down on the only available place and you knew they did this on purpose too.
Face your fears my ass, you thought while subtly trying to give Kuroo a death glare. He caught it and only smiled more smugly in response. At this point your heart was beating so fast you started worrying if Akaashi, who was sitting to your right, could hear it. You could feel his gaze lingering on you as you were sitting down but pretended not to see it.
"What happened to the new look?" He asked you with a bored expression and his chin resting in his palm. "Changed your mind about being up for a change?"
"What new look?" Bokuto cut to word, eyes curious and mouth full of food. Kuroo turned to look as well.
"Oh, it's nothing," Akaashi waved it off when he realized that he'd gotten the attention of their nosy friends as well.
Kuroo raised a brow and swallowed the food he was in the middle of eating before placing down his chopsticks to rest his head on his palm and lean a bit closer to you.
"Come to think of it. You did have quite a new look at your birthday party y/n."
"Oh yeah, I remember!" Bokuto exclaimed excitedly, the knowing glimmer in his eyes growing even more. "The bright red looked real nice on you!"
"You actually noticed that?" You asked Bokuto with a nervous chuckle, feeling a bit flustered by all the sudden attention on you.
"Eh- I didn't honestly," he admitted and laughed. "But Kaori-chan did and she pointed it out, saying how good it looked on you, so I paid some more attention next time I saw you and she was right!"
"Was our y/n trying to impress somebody during the party?" Kuroo, that bastard, was clearly trying to play wingman for you. Too bad it wouldn't be appropiate to punch that smug smile off of his face.
"Oh, shut up Kuroo. It was a party. Is it a crime to dress up a bit for an occasion like that? No. So shut up."
Kuroo didn't even try to hide the amusement in his chuckle. He picked his chopsticks back up and kept eating with a satisfied attitude, knowing he threw words into the room that were gonna have quite an impact.
"Hm? So I was right after all." Akaashi turned to you again, a hint of curiousity in his eyes as he looked at you. "There is someone you like?"
"What do you mean?" Bokuto's eyes widened, looking frantically between Akaashi and you.
"I already said this to y/n," Akaashi said as if lost in thought. "She's been acting strange lately and I was wondering if it's because she's got her eye on someone."
Kuroo swallowed and then let out a deep sigh. "Akaashi.."
Meanwhile Bokuto's hand stopped mid air as he was bringing the food to his mouth. A little "Uh-oh" escaped him as the food on his chopsticks fell onto his plate.
"You're so oblivious about these things for someone with quite some brains, huh?" There was nothing left of Kuroo's playful attitude anymore, and him and Bokuto gave each other a meaningful look.
"Oblivious?" Akaashi asked. "I don't think I'm.. am I oblivious?"
"A little maybe.." you, who'd been quiet this entire time, answered with your gaze cast downward, and hoping your face wasn't as red as it felt hot.
"So, anyway,' Kuroo quick and loudly cut to word, realizing his plan seemed to go into the wrong direction. His smile was plastered back on his face as he clapped his hands once. "Hope the food's good. Bokuto lend me a hand, that's why it looks the way it does but the taste should be fine."
"Hey!" Bokuto's muffled voice rang out into the room. He sounded quite offended. "What's that supposed to mean?! I tried my best, yeah?"
Kuroo laughed loudly and even Akaashi had a subtle smile on his lips. Only you had a hard time putting on a smile since you were busy trying to calm your beating heart. Akaashi who seemed to have noticed with just a single glance at your direction took an onigiri off his own plate and placed it on yours. You gave him a confused look while remembering Kenma's words about how he was apparently disgustingly friendly with you.
"Try this one, it has a chicken and mayo filling" he told you as the other two guys were busy playfully and loudly bickering with each other. "You'll like it. It's really good."
You mustered up a little smile after all (how could you not when he looked at you like that?) and tried the onigiri he had placed on your plate. Your eyes widened when the flavors spread over your tongue and with a full mouth you turned at him. His smile grew a little wider when he saw the sparkles dancing in your eyes. "Told you it's good."
Dinner was eaten and dessert served. The hours ticked by and everybody was smiling with a full belly, enjoying the night with the TV on. You let out a yawn and a look at your phone showed you that it was getting pretty late. Kuroo lived only a ten minute walk away from you but you needed some time for yourself to wind down before actually going to bed so you decided it was time.
"Guys," you cut into their on-going conversation as you slowly stood up. "It was real nice but I'll be heading home then."
"Already?" Bokuto asked, sounding a bit disappointed. "Don't you live like around the corner? Why don't you stay a bit longer?"
You yawned again, the tiredness creeping onto your eyelids. You admired how Bokuto still seemed to be full of energy even at this hour.
"No, I really better go. Or else I'll fall asleep here," you joked though the tiredness in your voice was hard to miss.
Before Bokuto could say anything more, Akaashi was next to stand up. He looked over to you and said, "I'll walk you."
For a moment the room fell silent, Bokuto and Kuroo glancing from Akaashi to each other to you and back to each other. You on the other hand froze in your spot, staring at Akaashi as your tired mind processed his words.
"Oh no, it's fine, honestly. Don't go the trouble for me," You finally said when you found your voice after what felt like an eternity but was probably just a few seconds. "You know my house is like 10 minutes from here, right?"
"Just let me." He insisted calmly. " Not for you, for my own peace of mind."
"Oh.. uhm.. ok then."
Bokuto and Kuroo gave one another another knowing glance as their smiles widened as if they had a hit a jackpot. They both stood up as well following you two out the door and wishing you a good night.
When you stepped outside the cool night air felt refreshing against your skin, compared to the warm, slightly stuffy room inside. You walked side by side, with your hands in your pockets and not saying a word, for a few minutes when Akaashi's voice eventually cut the silence.
"Are you gonna tell me who it is?" He asked and you knew exactly what he was talking about. Face your fear, Kuroo's words rang in your mind when you thought for a moment about what to say. And maybe it was because it was late and you were so tired that you could barely keep your eyes open but in that moment, the idea of telling him the truth barely felt nerve-wrecking at all. The part of you that wanted him to know was louder than your fear and your worries.
"It's you." The words slipped out of your mouth so easily you weren't sure if you were maybe dreaming all of this.
"Wait, really?" He suddenly stopped in his tracks and so did you. "Or are you messing with me right now?"
"Gosh," you chuckled tiredly. "You are oblivious about these things. Yes. Really."
Akaashi's mind and heart started racing as he let your words impact him. "Why- why didn't you tell me earlier?"
"I was scared," you admitted, looking down.
"I see.." he nodded and tried to find your gaze which was cast onto your shoes. "And.. are you still scared?"
"Honestly? Yeah, kind of. But not as much as before." You let out another tired chuckle. It really did feel a bit pathetic.
"Eventhough I feel the same?" It slipped from his tongue and he only realized what he said after the words were already out.
The words he said made your insides flutter and you looked up at him with widened eyes. Did you just hear him right?
"What did you just say?" You asked him although you heard exactly what he just said.
"I said I feel the same. I like you too." His eyes seemed to search for some sort of answer in yours. Almost as if he was asking you what that meant for the two of you now as the air grew thicker with anticipation
"Oh," was all you could think to say and you mentally facepalmed yourself for it. Oh? Really?
"So does it still scare you?" He wanted to know, holding back from taking the next step until he knew you were on the same page.
"I- I guess.. a little bit. It's just.. I guess because it's such an unfamiliar feeling for me, y'know?"
He nodded again slowly, trying to understand where your worries were coming from.
"So what do you want to do about it?"
You thought for a moment. What did you want to do about it? Face you fears and believe in yourself, Kuroo's words appeared in your brain once more. You almost wanted to laugh at how cliché and silly it sounded but you couldn't deny that it felt like the right thing to do nevertheless. It felt right to want to love him. It felt right to let your guard down for once ifnit was him. It felt right to choose to have trust in the unknown of what your future might hold. It all felt so right if he was there.
"I want to.." you started slowly, carefully thinking about your next words. "Accept the fear and.. and love you anyway."
He let your words sink in and his smile grew a bit wider.
"So what did happen to the new look by the way?" He asked you, catching you completely off guard. "You never answered."
"It was- It was just to impress you," you admitted as the blood rushed to your cheeks again. "It was stupid."
"Yeah, it's a bit stupid." He let out a chuckle that melted your heart just so right and made all the fear feel worth it. "I liked you even before you tried to impress me with your looks. You were the most beautiful to me ever since I fell for you. But honestly? If that's your new thing now, I wouldn't mind that either."
Was this really not a dream? It was impossible to stop yourself from smiling like an absolute love struck fool.
"So it did impress you," you concluded and were grateful for the night hopefully hiding your red face.
"Only cause it's you." He didn't care anymore about being too careful with his words now that he knew the truth and neither did you.
"Well, you're in luck," you told him as you pulled the red lipstick out of your small bag. With a swift movement you applied the crimson color on your lips before taking a step closer to him and placing a kiss on his cheek, leaving him wide eyed and speechless for a moment. When you pulled back he brought his hand up to his cheek, his fingers gently tracing the red lip stain you had left on his skin. After a few seconds he remembered to breathe again, unaware that he'd been holding it in first place. You couldn't help but laugh at his loss for words which eventually made him laugh as well. For a few moments your shared laughter rang through the night sky and it felt like home. And then he was the one who stepped closer to you, pulling you into a hug and planting a kiss on top of your head as you closed your eyes and wrapped your arms around him as well, bathing in the comfort of his embrace.

"There is some consensus among forensic psychiatrists and criminal psychologists that, while people with autism and related conditions are less likely to break the law than their neurotypical peers, they may be more vulnerable to grooming and radicalisation. [...]" "[...]Barfield wore a T-shirt that read “facts don’t care about your feelings” to lectures and sought out arguments with “the Libs”. He’d started down the path to extremism but, at the last moment, pulled back. Meeting a trans person one day and realising they were not, as he had been led to believe, “the enemy”, was a turning point. “As an autistic person, I didn’t understand dog whistles,” he tells me. “I didn’t understand the subtext. I took everything at face value, and one day I was like, ‘oh, a lot of this is antisemitic rhetoric. A lot of this is Islamophobia’.”
