if there's one thing i'll always love about yhs it's about how insane the world is. i feel like some people would find the bizareness to be annoying and inconvenient to write (like how chan was so plot relevant but she's literally a fucking yan sim character so sometimes she gets her name changed in fanfics)

but like... i personally think it's really charming. like you're telling me. PAUL BLART is in the same universe as PEPE THE FROG? and nobody bats an eye at it for more than a second when they first appear? that's actually hilarious!!! that's peak comedy!!!

i love the idea of yhs being so random that it hurts your head to think about. sure it's "bad writing" but they commit to the bit and it's so good everytime. i hate tokyo soul but the minions shit??? that was the weirdest subplot of all time but i'm intrigued???

idk what the point of this is. i just think that the hectic worldbuilding is so fantastically stupid and how it's so confident at the same time. i mean, that's the reason why all the dark parts hit even harder. you wouldn't expect a genuine arc in a series where literally nobody knows how old a character is supposed to be.

Gareth feels a lot of regret and shame surrounding his regression. Sure, he knows it helps distract him from the crushing reality, and yet he still can't shake the thought of regression being stupid.

And there are plenty of reasons why he feels this way.

Once Jane found him regressed one night, she did nothing but shame and ridicule him. And after hearing her many rants, maybe he started to believe her words too. He did love her more than anything, after all, even if it meant ignoring the red flags that were so obvious to those around him.

Sometimes he can't help but think about his son, Pepe. He's certain he's failed as a parent to him, so why should he get to regress when he couldn't even give his own child a safe and happy childhood? The guilt eats at him a lot even though Pepe wasn't really his biological son, he still feels like he should've been more involved.

He's a teacher, a fully grown man. A grown man who should be able to handle his stress and emotions normally. He's much too big physically to feel so small mentally when regressed. He shouldn't even have time to regress, he has lesson plans and homework to finish ahead of time. Or at least, that's his reasoning.

(also disclaimer but in my mind of this, most of the yhs/ts world is accepting as hell of trans/enby folk)

taurtis:

demiboy and bi (they/he pronouns)

he’s amab so he doesn’t really have to worry about transitioning, which is also why he fuckin froke out about sam/samantha wanting to cut his d!ck off. he does NOT wish to transition at all, but does kinda like dressing feminine.

sam/samanatha (not a favorite character but i figured i should explain this since he was in the taurtis hc):

transfem genderfluid and omni (any pronouns except for it/its)

she acts homophobic as fuck sometimes, but that’s cuz she’s in the closet. she also wanted to try out being a girl (hence the cross dressing arc) and that’s how she found out she did genuinely like being called a girl sometimes. sometimes they hated it and then questioned what the fuck they were for a while, eventually settling on genderfluid.

dom:

trans ftm and gay + t4t (he/it)

alright so he’s not really out about being trans to anyone except his dad, who’s chill w it. but as soon as dom came out as gay, mr dorito kicked him out of the house. he was 100% fine with his son being trans but not gay. he also ended up having a crush on samantha but didn’t know she was genderfluid, once he found out he still knew he was gay. his crush on sam also faded away, but he still found her really pretty.

gareth:

bigender and polyromantic/sexual, attracted to non-men only (she/he/it)

gareth was open about being both, especially with his gender. she also was very aware of grian being trans ftm and tried to support him as much as she could before she died, even going as far as starting him on testosterone with his consent of course. jane was also aware of her wife and son being lgbtq+ and was VERY accepting of it (jane’s the only cis one out of the four).

grian:

trans ftm, genderfaun, and gay (he/they/xe/wing)

grian was adopted into the nightman family a year after he moved into japan, hence how he’s related to them. he’s a stealth trans man but his family is very aware of it, which is why gareth and jane helped him start t when he was in his teens. when he goes swimming he refuses to actually do so, claiming his wings will get fucked if he tries to. he hasn’t had the surgery yet since he’s still a minor but his parents plan on helping with it once he turns old enough to have it. (i am aware the gay thing is canon)

sookie:

genderdoe, lesbian, and asexual (they/she)

sookie is open about her sexuality and gender identity as well and tends to hold parties during pride month (and october since that’s seen as one too). her parents aren’t too accepting of them being a lesbian and ace but they don’t say shit about it, especially since they moved out to live with yuki and soul. (same as grian, i’m aware they’re a lesbian canonically)

he was the last to come out of the nightman family, he was also adopted by them much like his brother. pepe doesn’t really care who knows about his gender and sexuality, but he does take pride in his identity, one of the few things about himself that he does.

Yandere summary part 1

So I have watched episode 1 and 2 of Yandere:

It is the story of how Sam met Grian and Taurtis.

It starts with Sams dad Stanley waking up Sam and sending him off to school with a boy named Taurtis, who Sam doesn't want to talk to

Sam and Taurtis stop at a grocery store and Sam immediately starts convincing Taurtis to help him steal some pocky

They are caught and run away

Grian is sitting by the road eating some pocky

Sam and Taurtis don't really like him

Domrao is bullying professor Gareth in the street

Taurtis also has a fish that he carries with him everywere

Teacher Okami is the art teacher

Taurtis and Sam are late because Taurtis won't climb the stairs

Okami smells Taurtis' fish to get him to go up the stairs

next episode: Sam and Taurtis arrive to class late

Pepe frogman is in a cage at the back, and is also revealed to be Professor Gareth and teacher Jane's son

Judging by what I've read from Pug's summaries, I'll just skip any more Pepe things, since they don't apear to be relevant to the story

The first class is with Professor Gareth, and Grian points out Sam and Taurtis' lateness

Gareth calls role, Domrao is also in their class

Sam asks Grian if he wants to smell Taurtis' fish, Grian says no

Gareth has the kids sing, pepe stuff happens, Gareth hands out their uniforms? (why didn't they have those to begin with?)

everyone leaves the room except for Sam, Taurtis and Grian

Sam & Taurtis go talk to Grian, who smells Taurtis' fish

We learn Taurtis has had the fish for 3 YEARS and it seems to be a real fish

It is revealed that Taurtis is 5 YEARS OLD, Sam is 5 & 1/2, and Grian is 7. why

Grian has only been in Japan for 2 days at this point and has apparently just been plonked in a class of 5 year olds. (they are way too independant for their age) He is an exchange student from England

Taurtis and Sam are late again, this time they have class with Teacher Jane

She was locked out of her supply closet, so she has all the kids CLIMB OUT THE 3RD STORY WINDOW?!

The kids are meant to be hopping from ledge to ledge, but they are all just falling to the ground

Jane doesn't care that her 5 year old students are falling 3 stories to the ground and getting injured

Sam falls and cries

Grian says he'll give Sam some pocky

Taurtis is trying to flirt (they are 5 years old, remember) with another girl, Christina. It doesn't go well

Grian tells Taurtis that he should try flirting without the old fish

Sam and Taurtis decide that Grian is just trying to steal Taurtis' fish

A High Essay: Frogs on Bikes

Frogs as we all know are a form of amphibian that inhabit almost every single climate on this planet. They are quite majestic creatures that evolve throughout life. They start as eggs and soon progress to tadpoles and so on and so fourth. They eventually become frogs, complete with two back legs used for jumping and two little arms for balance. They have long tongues to catch their favorite prey, flies and a variety of forms of flies depending on the region in which you find your frog friend. They are normal creatures that have their own way of life and their own instincts. They have a certain capability for 'memeage' as the youth likes to say for their almost perfect resemblance to dogs. We will touch on this later. Now after the frogs creation, specifically in the year 1817, the perfect match for this animal was invented. Charles, Baron von Drais, of Sauerbrun, devised a front wheel capable of being steered, this is more commonly known as the bicycle. He may not have known for sure but, the animal of the frog proved to gravitate towards this invention. It was a perfect fit for them when made into miniature versions. Two little handle bars for their tiny arms and pedals for their long legs. This my friends, was the only thing that made sense. Back in the early 2000s, a popular character or 'meme' by the name of "The Annoying Thing" or Crazy Frog started to circulate the internet. This 'meme' was most commonly seen in the Crazy Frog Music Video titled 'Crazy Frog- Axel F' with 1 billion views today. Any frog who was any frog looked up to this celebrity but he was primal. He, although famous had instincts connecting him to ancestors that did the one thing frowned upon by society. It was only time before this beloved frog came out about his instincts and made a 23 second video that changed the fate of the universe as we know it. This video was 'cray frog air bike ding ding!' a true classic. Although it is a motor bike he is impersonating riding, it is still meaningful. Frogs everywhere secretly dreamed of riding bikes of all sorts and this wonderful video shed some light on this. Frogs everywhere realized it was okay to give in to their instincts, it was okay to ride bicycles. No matter what any human said frogs could ride off into the wind and this was extremely important for them as a species to know. Their were campaigns made to get frogs on bikes again, just like the old days. At first, frogs rejected the campaigns but once shown this video everything changed. After this footage surfaced, frogs everywhere began riding bikes. Mainstream media became ready for this movement and the worlds most famous frog, Kermit The Frog was shown world wide riding a bicycle. Some frogs were sacrificed and made into garden statues. This is tragic in all ways. You can see a prime example at this link, warning... it may alter how you see frog kind forever. (http://www.statue.com/Products/Frogs/Frog-Riding-Bicycle-Garden-Statue.html). After seeing this, you come to realize that this circle of frog biking was dangerous. Steroids were being taken to increase speed, and some frogs went insane over their lust for victory. If we look past all that, their is a light at the end of the tunnel. A root. Young frogs learning to ride their bikes and feeling joy over doing the one thing they will always be good at. This image, really, restores your faith in frogmanity. This young frog is an inspiration that frog biking is good, not evil. Some may speculate that not all frogs enjoy riding bikes. That it is maybe a racist assumption to make towards their species and yes, you would be right. In 2015, a frog came into play that went outside the boundaries. This as you know is Dat Boi, more formally know as 'o' shit here come dat boi'. He was not afraid to defy the standards and show that bicycles and motor bicycles were not the only thing for frogs. After years of being addicted to memes, his father Pepe the Frog, introduced his young boy (or boi) to a tricycle. This stunned Dat Boi and he became obsessed immediately. He never stopped riding that bicycle and for that, Pepe was proud. Some frogs followed Dat Boi but sadly, unicycles are still looked down upon in the frog community. We here at the UFN (United Frog Nations) aim to change that but for now, we will always know Dat Boi, the greatest innovator of our time. In conclusion, riding things with wheels is a natural instinct for the frog. They may get savage when competing but at its heart, is it a pure sport. They truly enjoy it and are gradually accepting other wheeled objects as common riding practice. We really do have a long way to come in frog culture but I believe we are making great progress. The 2000s have been wonderful for this species and their famous counterparts. Whether you are discussing early frog biking or modern day unicycling, is a fact that frogs everywhere benefit from it. It is empowering and honestly, beautiful. I wish to one day live in a world where this practice is accepted among all animals and vehicles. Zebras driving cars, whales on motorcycles and much much more. Equal wheeling for all as I like to say. The frogs are the start of this. The beginning of a new age for all animals. It is now and forever will be the most natural thing and, the most wonderful.

Pepe sometimes would find himself regressing just to get a break from all the negative thoughts in his head.

Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't. At the very least if he ends up sobbing, it's better than just keeping it in all the time.

When Pepe regresses to the ages 0-3 years old he's completely nonverbal as it took him longer than most to learn how to talk when he was a child.

If he's at least 1, he uses sign language to communicate instead. As a kid he did not know sign languge, but he learned it from watching videos when regressed to avoid frustration and confusion when he really needs something.
