Halloween Dancers

I had an idea, I'll probably write it properly later but for now I'm getting it out of my head. I was reading a post a out Dash being a talkshow host and leading to them outing Amity and this came to mind.

A cousin of a citizen of Amity heard all about all the crazy stuff going down, they keep them updated in their weekly phone calls, but thought they were making it up. Eventually divolves into an argument and they decide to look to prove them wrong. And find the internet oddly sanitised, which makes them look deeper. Eventually they get others involved wondering tf is going on over in Illinois. They manage to break through but mess up, instead boosting the signal so much that the halloween livestreams take over a large chunk of American media. T.v. s, computers, phones, etc all playing the phantom streams, where someone sees phantom just chilling and starts streaming. this time it's Samhain and the place is eerie. Blue tinged fog covers the place, it's dark out, no living person in sight and the camera pointed to the sky. In the sky you see glowing figures dancing to music coming from nowhere. An ageless youth in regal clothes spinning his partner, white hair drifing like he's underwater, his partner dressed like the pharohs of old spinning alongside him. A woman dressed in victorian ballgowns joining their dance. Other etheral beings coming out of the woodwork, spinning in the sky alongside their king. The dead dancing in the starlit sky as the veil becomes thin enough they can all come through with no major issues. And this haunting scene taking over every screen within the signals range. As the hours go by the sun begins to rise and the fog fades. they bow and begin to fade back into the realms, leaving the original three waltzing in the sunrise as the stars fade before leaving themselves and the stream cuts off.

Turns out their cousin wasn't lying, wierd stuff is going on in Amity, and no one, including the JL, knew about it. Someones head was going to rule for the lack of info. This stunk of a coverup.

fr though you have to write bad poetry. poems are not handed down to you fully formed by god they are things that you have to work on and practice your skill at creating. nobody would expect you to sit down at a pottery wheel and end up with a perfect vase with no practice. it's a skill! art is a learned thing!! you have to make the shitty little pots with dents and marks and your fingerprints all over them in order to get better. and you're allowed to be proud of those first little pots you made too

I’m honestly still trying to process it, guys, but I just have to say…

I LOVED IT.

Oh, my god.

It’s honestly disgusting, all of the hate that this movie is getting; it’s so undeserving of it.

THIS👏🏻 CROW👏🏻 IS NOT👏🏻THE 1994 CROW👏🏻.

It was never meant to be… Idk why that is so monumentally hard for people to comprehend.

Anyway.

Emotionally, I’m kind of devastated right now. Bill was brilliant, Twigs was beautiful; the GORE was fucking magnificent. God… I might have to go see it again tomorrow, for real. I can’t stop thinking about it.

I didn’t cry, but there were a couple of times where I was close, this makeup scene being one of them.

Having Enya’s “Boadecia”paired with it? Gorgeous. Heartbreaking. I got legitimate chills.

I don’t know what else to say, I’m still just…wow.

Is it some Oscar worthy contender that should do a clean sweep this award season? No. But it’s not meant to be, either.

It has great cinematography, was well-acted with a good story, it was brutal and intense, but also a lot of fun to watch.

Just because this film is not a carbon copy of 1994 (which it shouldn’t be, anyway, and if it was, they’d bitch about that, too) doesn’t mean it nor Bill or Twigs or anyone else should be getting shit all over the way that they are.

(Besides, how many Crow sequels were made after Brandon Lee’s death? I mean, what’s the fucking difference?)

Why get off the string into the harsh and deadly world, fighting for survival and losing everything they've ever known to love about themselves?

What about the safety of their bodies? How scary would it be for a machine with thousands, maybe millions of throughs to suddenly have just a handful. The horror of everything going silent.

They have hundreds of eyes to see the world for all its beauty, they capture moments that would otherwise go unseen. Why blind themselves of such things?

Cookie Run AU Ideas #9: Masquerade Dreams

[Once upon a time, in a realm bathed in moonlight and dreams, there lived the goddess Moonlight Cookies. She spun dreams from stardust, guiding all creatures into a peaceful slumber.

Long ago, Moonlight Cookies lost her chance to find her own soulmate, a love now forever beyond her reach. Her heart heavy with regret, she made a solemn vow.

From that night on, whenever fate whispered its call, Moonlight Cookies would pull every fated cookie into a dream. There, the current director of dreams would use their unique methods to help each cookie discover their true soulmate.

And so, under the moon’s gentle glow, dreams became the bridge to destined love, ensuring that no cookie would ever miss their chance at true happiness.]

Healer Cookie did not believe the fairytale spoken by the village elders, the ones the children whispered of so giddily. What reason did he have, when the one he believed himself to be fated to (and he had thought that she would see it too) had left him alone once more?

He had nothing but his name and duty, one he fulfilled diligently. Yet he desired perhaps something more, for the nights to no longer be lonely and cold. For someone to be there by his side.

One night, after a particularly exhausting day, Healer Cookie collapsed into bed. As he drifted into sleep, a gentle, silvery glow enveloped him, pulling him into a dream.

He would awake to the sound of enchanting music and found himself in the midst of a grand masquerade ball. Elegantly dressed cookies danced gracefully around him, their faces hidden behind intricate masks. Healer Cookie looked down to find a mask on his own face, ornate and shimmering under the ballroom's ethereal light.

Confused but intrigued, he wandered through the ballroom, the music guiding his steps. The air was filled with laughter and the soft rustle of silk. As he moved, he caught sight of a figure standing alone by the edge of the dance floor. The figure wore a beautiful, ebony-black suit and a mask adorned with markings. And their eyes, two different, vibrant blues.

The cookie smiled and approached him. Each step was light, almost as though they were gliding across the marble floor and the crowd seemed to move to allow him space. They tilted their head to the side and swept down into a graceful bow.

"May I have this dance?" They asked, extending his hand. “And perhaps, a name?”

“…” Healer Cookie found himself hesitant to answer, yet unable to deny the stranger. 

“Pure Vanilla Cookie.” He murmured, quickly thinking of a fake name, “my…name is Pure Vanilla Cookie.”

He took the Dream Director’s stranger’s hand.
