Splurged a lil' bit on this HUGE sketchbook that I'm hoping to use for flash designs and painting, I've been really wanting to get back into doing trad art and this feels like a fun way to do so without overwhelming myself completely right off the bat. Drawn with a light pthalo blue pencil crayon on 18x24 120g paper <3

My art for my mass effect big Bang co-written fic. We I was trying to figure out what to write this year, all I knew was I wanted to draw a slightly more matured James Vega. And then @alchemist-after-dark stepped in to help me take it beyond a vague plotless idea. Basically I just wanted to draw this and the rest was a very happy coincidence hehe

Concept sketch I later coloured of a @homemadehorrors gryphon. The art was later rendered in posca on a mini canvas for a collab bonus at Canfurence 2024. You bought the Gryphon kitten, you got the matching painting! Fun time. :)
