Berlin, episode 1 - a spoiler-filled live reaction/commentary 

Spoilers ahoy under the cut!

Our man wears a turtleneck from the get-go, which I find hilarious.

"This is my team - one of the three I've robbed with in my life - but this one is special to me as it's from my golden age". Maybe season 2 - if it exists - will focus on that other team? Or? The other 2 teams are The Cormorants and the Mint gangs? What do you guys think?

Also this is set before Berlin knew of his Helmers Myopathy (lol I took Liberties in my latest fic, I won't let something like canon change that)

Roi sees him as the father he never had, while Berlin sees Roi as "a loyal dog he walks every day" -- right, I'm totally going to write these two, and not just because Roi calls him "sir" and shines his shoes.

Damien is a Professor but for real.

During the first heist we see of the gang, a random guest clocks the team as "not police " in about a minute, seemingly based on Keyla's glasses/fidgeting -- okay I guess?? Make that conflict, Pina & Co!

There was apparently a hit out on him by the family members so yeah, I think he’s most likely deceased. I can’t imagine that he would stop killing, and I can’t imagine that with so many victims, somebody wouldn’t have spotted him and took justice into their own hands.

The guns and action weren't really your thing. You'd much rather sit behind a computer all day or spend your afternoon trying to distract the police. But El Profesor needed someone inside to do his thinking for him - hence the reason you were here. You spent most of your time studying your moves, the tactic and any situation in which something could go wrong.

You loved working with this group, though. Usually you'd avoid these kind of people because they were everything you weren't, but they were great fun. Denver and Nairobi took it upon themselves to organise a special night every week, whether it was a quiz, a game or a movie. The games and quizes were a bit too much out of your comfort zone, so you usually stayed behind with El Profesor and Berlin. The brothers weren't really into these kind of nights - one of them was just as awkward as you and the other just watched the others - or rather you.

You watched as Tokio took her turn in the game of Charades, yelling loudly at Nairobi when she didn't get the answer even though the answer was loud and clear. You giggled at them while Berlin focussed on your facial features. You were beautiful. Your big, almost Bambi-like eyes, the faint blush on your cheeks and your oh so kissable lips. El Profesor didn't seem to notice as he got up from his chair and joined the group, giving into peer pressure of Nairobi's charm.

'Why don't you join them, sweetheart? Isn't that what young people do these days, have fun?' Berlin asked you as he sat down in the chair next to you. You shifted in your seat and fumbled with your fingers. He sat so close to you and you couldn't help but feel intimidated by him.

'I-uh, I'm not really the going out type,' you mumbled, 'I'd rather just stay here.'

'Huh, you wouldn't say..' he took a sip of his red wine, 'Tell me, darling. Have you ever been with a man before?'

You choked on your saliva at his blunt question. Your eyes went wide and you rose from your seat. Your heart beating loudly in your chest.

'Pardon? I don't think that's any of your business. Excuse me, I have to go,' you stuttered, quickly turning around and leaving to your room, completely forgetting your notebook. Berlin smirked, feeling himself harden at your innocence and flipped through your notebook. You had every single thing written down, some notes being highlighted or crossed out. You had doodled small animals on one page and on the very back you had taped a note from your father. He smiled at your cute notebook, reminding himself to visit your room later tonight.

A knock interrupted your intense reading session. You frowned, no one had ever felt the need to talk to you, especially this late at night. You placed your book on your bed, folding the corner of your page and opened the door. You gasped a little when you saw who it was. Berlin was leaning against the doorway, your notebook in one of his hands.

'You forgot something, princess,' he huskily said, handing you the notebook. You blushed furiously at the nickname and went to grab the notebook, but he pulled his hand back. You frowned, feeling a little embarrassed, making him smile.

'You'll get your little book back, but you haven't answered my question yet,' he challenged. You shook your head, not wanting to answer, but you had to get your notebook back.

'I won't give it back unless you answer, princess,' he teased.

'I-I don't want to. It's none of your business, sir,' you replied. You didn't know the effect you had on him, because he groweled lowly feeling himself harden for the second time this day. He stepped towards you and you froze. His cologne filled your nose.

'Then I guess I'll hold onto it a little longer. Goodnight, beautiful,' he whispered in your ear, kissing you just under your ear.

'Berlin, can I please have my notebook back? I really need it,' you said, leaning in the doorway of his room. He turned around, a vinyl in hand.

'You still haven't answered my question, so no,' he winked. You sighed and stepped into his room.

'It's been long enough now. I don't feel comfortable sharing those things. It's personal,' you mumbled. His window was opened and a breeze entered the room, blowing the door closed with a loud bang. You flinched and jumped back, accidentally bumping into Berlin. You didn't realise you were so close until you felt his warm breath in you neck as his arms snaked around your waist from behind. The music began to play softly in the background as you felt goosebumps cover your skin.

'Just tell me princess, have you ever been with a man before?' he whispered, placing a soft kiss in your neck.

'N-no,' you whimpered and felt a shiver run down your spine. You felt him smirk against your skin.

'Good girl,' he purred, 'Nothing to be ashamed about. Do you want to?' You gasped when one of his hands traveled from your waist, over your stomach, to your chest, softly grazing over your nipple and ending on your throat and gripping it carefully. You could feelt your body melt against his and he knew just which buttons to push.

The hand he had on your cheek moved to the back of your head and he painfully slowly tilted your head towards his. His eyes were completely focussed on your slightly parted lips and you closed yours. You felt his breath on your lips and finally connected them. You inhaled sharply, finally feeling someone's lips on yours after 21 years. His lips moved slowly and carefully, but very passionately. When you felt one of his hands move to your ass and give it a light squeeze you gasped and felt his tongue enter your mouth. It felt so good you almost got dizzy. You took a chance and moved your hands to his hair, pulling lightly and you heard him groan.

'Be careful, princess. Don't want to start something you can't finish,' he growled against your lips. You quickly pulled back your hands and away from the kiss.

'S-sorry. I-I didn't know what to do and I always saw this in movies so I thought I-' you rambled, feeling extremely embarrassed. He took your hands in his and a small smirk appeared on his lips. You were blushing furiously and your lips were plump. He had to say, for someone who had never kissed before, you sure were a good kisser.

'Hey, hey, it's okay. It felt good, don't wory,' he assured you. You looked at him through your eyelashed and Berlin twitched in his pants. You were so incredibly innocent. You nodded, a small smile in your lips - you were actually kind of proud.

'You're a good kisser,' you giggled, 'I kind of don't want to stop..'

'Then what are you waiting for?'

You took the lead this time, standing on your tippy toes to reach him and he quickly responded by slamming his lips on yours, tongue entering and swirling around yours. You let out a small moan and you felt him smile against your lips. He took your hands and held them above your head. You whined but that quickly turned into a moan when his free hand massaged your breast. He could feel your hardened nipple underneath the shirt you were.

However, if he sees you smiling and laughing with a handsome, young random man/friend, especially after an argument, he will feel very uncomfortable and slightly angry

He will interrupt your conversation straight away while putting his arm around your waist in a firm grip, so the other person knows to who you belong to. Meanwhile, he asks what you guys were talking, saying ironically, obviously that he's pretty interested and wants to join you on your conversation as well. The other person will instantly get the message, noticing his sarcastic tone/excitement, accompanied by a dangerous, long stare from him. The man will immediately leave you both alone

When exchanging gifts, he feels bad for almost forgetting, but you don’t seem bothered at all, just happy to be with him.

She takes you out for a romantic dinner, but then drags you out to the club.

She just wants to party the night away whilst keeping you close, showing everyone that you’re hers. 

The night probably ends with the two of you making out on the dance floor, and taking it somewhere more private…

Professor

This man… 

He’s not used to “celebrating” valentines day, so he is awkward about it.

Probably pleads Andrés for his help to pick out a gift to you and give him advice

…Although he ends up roasting his ideas/suggestions, since they’re too bold, perverted or cheesy. 

Still, he ends up taking some advice.

Homeboy just wants to give you a good day

And he does.

Sergio ends up going for the classic - flowers, suit and romantic dinner.

Also buys you some gift, just simply something he knows you like/need. 

Although he’s a bit nervous/awkward at first, being around you makes him less tense.

He totally stops functioning when you smile and give him what you bought for him

It ends up being a good valentines day, and you make sure to thank him in more than one way 🤭

Alicia Sierra

Alicia has a busy job, but she tries taking a day off, or at least the afternoon - to spend it with you. 

She’s not that cheesy. 

She likes Valentine's Day, since it is a day of “celebration”, but she usually doesn’t bother with it. 

Until things got real with you.

She buys some simple (but probably expensive) gift and some flowers and picks you up with her car.

She takes you out to watch some movie and then to her place, where she’s fixed a candlelit dinner.

That way, you have more privacy and focus on each other. 

Alicia likes spoiling you, even if she doesn’t admit so out loud.

That’s why she looks so smug as you open the wrapping paper to the piece of jewelry she brought.

The gift she got from you, she carefully places in her living room, where she can look at it all the time. 

After dinner, you spend the night at her place.

Bruce

Bruce sees Valentine's Day as a chance to impress you.

Sure, you're already his, but he still wants to seduce you. 

He’ll have you sleep over the night before, and wake you up with breakfast in bed, and also give you the gift he’s brought. 

Might not be the best food, but at least he made it with love lol

Literally spends the whole day pampering you, making you feel like a royal, which is his only goal.

And you do the same for him.

Which is pretty easy. A couple of kisses, and you’re all his.

Which is why he got so emotional when you gave him a gift too.

The day is spent with home spa, watching movies, making out, and either ordering food or takeaway. 

Basically just a day where the two of you relax together and do other fun stuff, happy to have found each other.

Cameron

Due to her last relationship, she’s not that fond of valentines day.

She doesn’t see the point in being extra affectionate once a year, when you can do so everyday.

Still, you buy her a valentine's gift and surprise her with flowers.

She’s stunned at first, then flustered, and then smiles, pulling you into a kiss. 

As a thank you, she takes you out on a date.

Together, the two of you like adrenaline and action.

So of course, you either go to an amusement park, or go sightseeing on her motorcycle, with you sitting behind her, hands wrapped around her hips as she speed drives through town.

The rest of the day, you explore random places together, taking pictures and making memories. 

Cameron can’t help but just stare at you, feeling so incredibly lucky to have you.

You go to some cozy restaurant to eat. 

Once going home, it’s getting dark. 

The two of you can’t keep hands to yourself during the trip home

So you end up doing that at the most random place

Afterwards, you are cuddled up and stargazing. 

Although you’re supposed to watch the stars, you and Cameron only has eyes for each other, tbh <3

Summary:The Professor and Berlin put on a competition to win Readers affection.

I woke up early in the morning since Sergio said it was an emergency and needed me quick. So he'd be the one waiting for me outside of the house all of us are currently living in, I finished changing myself and quickly made it out of the room before bumping into Andrés. "What's the hurry, (Y/N)?" He asked raising an eyebrow and fixing his tie then continued.

"You know it's been a couple of boring days and we've all been doing nothing, so how about you head back to your room and have some fun?" Andrés steps closer to me which made me feel trapped since I was against the wall looking up at him.

I blushed and tried hiding my face from him, though I know he's known for being a flirt I still feel embarrassed around him.

"I-I was just...Sergio told me to get ready since he'd be-"

"Yes my little brother can be persistent, but he said he couldn't be able to come for you since he's busy so I came to check on you." He says with a smirk and offers his arm for me to take. I did and began walking down the stairs with him earning a few looks from Tokio.

It's been about two years since I met Andrés and Sergio which is the reason I know and call them by their names. Both brothers have been acting a bit clingy to me lately.

Andrés and I made it to the outside of the house so no one would bother us, "Don't you think it's quite stupid?"

I raise an eyebrow and glance at him. "Haven't you seen Tokio throwing herself at Rio? Sergio said no relationships." He says staring ahead at the field in front of us as the wind blows steadily.

"What would you do if you were in her place then? What if it were me and you? To be honest I wouldn't care and I would still love you no matter what."

Andrés looked away from me and i could tell he was flustered. He turned around to look and me and I was surprised when he lifted my chin up and leaned slowly down, "(Y/N) I-"

"Andrès." We both looked back and saw Sergio with his arms crossed starkng at us both. As if it were nothing Andrès quickly smirked and took a step away from me.

"Hermanito. Didn't expect to see you here." Sergio raises an eyebrow and pushed his glasses up.

"Neither did I. (Y/N), I was waiting for you." Sergio looked at me and stepped closer. "Andrès said you were busy so I followed him." I look at them both and see them almost glaring at one another.

"I was just joking around." Andrés laughs and pats his brother on the back a bit roughly and walks away.

"I was worried about you." He whispered and carefully rested his hand against my cheek. "I'd like to review some of the plans with you just to make sure everything goes accordingly."

We begin making our way to the classroom which I call it. "Of course you know I love helping you out in any way." Sergio just turned his back to me and began to fumble around with the plans and sat down up on a table.

"Now this is how it'll go-" and so he began to explain in great detail the plan but began to stutter and I saw his hands a bit shaky.

Am I making him nervous? Andrés has mentioned he acts like that around women since he's never been with one. I take all the courage I have and slowly make my way to him and sit on the table.

"Sergio, you have nothing to worry about. In fact I love hearing your lessons and the way your so smart, besides I do love men who wear suits" I whisper making him tense. I grab hold of his tie and right when I was going to pull him in he jumps off from his spot.

"Todays lesson is d-done." Again he has the habit of pushing his glasses up and without another word he storms out of the room leaving me confused, alone and upset. I curse at myself for being this straightforward.

I have been playing dumb on both brothers. I have a feeling yhey both have a crush on me, Andrès has for a while now since I met him first but Sergio has been the one I'm most attracted to. I don't want to hurt their feelings.

Sergio has been focused on his solely on his work.

Andrés has said he's interested in having kids, again, but he already has kids and he isn't the best father at all.

I don't know what to do.

I had my red jumpsuit on and finished tying my combat boots and turned around to see Sergio staring at me almost sadly. It's been a rough couple of weeks since Sergio has been distant from me which has broken my heart while Andrés has been following me around like a dog.

Sergio and I stared at each other, both of us afraid to start a conversation. "(Y/N) I apologize for my behavior. The way I've been distant around you is because we have to act professional..I-I.."

"Sergio, its time." Berlin said wearing a police officer uniform and staring at us both. Sergio places his hands on both our shoulders and hugs us both.

"Make it back safe, both of you." Sergio whispered to us both. Andrès or should I say now Berlin nodded and quickly ran over to the rest of the team.

"Take care of him for me in there, al though not so much." I laugh at his joke and nod trying my best to not cry. Sergio places his hands on my head and placed a kiss on my forehead. Before I could tell him anything he turned around and ran away.

It's been about 8 hours since we entered the bank and everything has been going steady so far, Denver, Rio, Tokio and I were looking after the hostages while Berlin was off somewhere probably resting which is all he's been doing at a separate office, while Nairobi was off printing the euros.

I know I've gotta be focused on the plan and making sure the hostages are safe but under control. "They won't get away with this I'm telling you. " I rolled my eyes knowing well who that voice belonged to.

"Will you shut up?!" Denver said glaring at the man known as Arthur or how Berlin calls him Arturito. He's been pissing us off ever since we arrived and to be honest if I could I'd punch him.

All I can think of is Sergio, is he still watching us? What is he thinking about?

"I'm gonna take a small break, mind looking after them?" I ask Denver who shrugs his shoulders but nods anyways. I enter the room where all the phones are and rested my gun against the wooden table and just in time the bright red phone which connected us the to Professor rang.

Excitedly I answered it, "Professor."

I hear him sigh against and chuckle, "I'm glad you answered. How are things going?" I sit down and held onto the phone.

"Everything's been smooth. Haven't you been watching us?"

"Unfortunately I've been busy with other things. I'm happy to see you've been doing well." I chuckle and look over at the camera where he can see me. I wave my hand and blush even though he can't see my red cheeks.

"I wish I could see you." I whisper still staring at the camera knowing well he's watching over me like a guardian angel.

He doesnt say anything so I continue. "Sergio what were you going to say to me before you ran of?" I ask holding the phone tightly.

"Actually I was going to wish you well..I..I'll tell you when you get out." I sigh disappointed and smile.

"Sergio..I love you." I finally tell him since knowing him he won't be the first to say it. "I know you don't want to mess his up and be all professional, but I've always loved you. I know how upset you got when you thought I liked your brother but I always had eyes for you.."

There's silence. "I'll say this again if I have to. I love you Sergio and I'll always will."

"...I-I love you too (Y/N). Now I'm regretting not kissing you earlier." We both chuckle at that. "Sorry I couldn't do anything sooner, (Y/N) I want you to know that what I'm about to do is for us. I need to get some information out of the inspector and I need your permission to let me know if I can do it. Of course if you decline I'll respect your answer-"

I gulp thinking of what might happen but it's a risk we have to take. "Do it. You have my permission, Sergio. Just don't forget about me okay?"

"I promise I won't. I love you, (Y/N) Don't forget about that." I blush again and grip the phone .

"I love you too."

We ended the phone call and I couldn't help but smile to myself and touch my warm cheeks. What I didn't know was that Andrés was watching me the entire time.
