Robert Pattinson was getting high on valium and auditioning for a campy vampire movie in 2008 and paul dano was being beat up by a homeless man in a movie and the fact that they are now the batman and the riddler is both really impressive and also absolutely hilarious

Movie poster.
There Will Be Blood is a 2007 American epic period drama film written and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, loosely based on the 1927 novel Oil! by Upton Sinclair.[4] It stars Daniel Day-Lewis as Daniel Plainview, a silver miner turned oilman on a ruthless quest for wealth during Southern California's oil boom of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Paul Dano, Kevin J. O'Connor, Ciarán Hinds, and Dillon Freasier co-star.
The film was produced by Ghoulardi Film Company and distributed by Paramount Vantage and Miramax Films. At the 2008 Berlin International Film Festival, it won the Silver Bear Award for Best Director and a Special Artistic Contribution Award for Jonny Greenwood's score. It grossed $76.2 million worldwide on a $25 million budget.
There Will Be Blood received acclaim for its cinematography, direction, screenplay, score, and the performances of Day-Lewis and Dano. Day-Lewis won the Academy Award, BAFTA, Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild, NYFCC and IFTA Best Leading Actor awards for the role. It has been widely regarded by critics as one of the greatest films of the 21st century,[5][6] and it appeared on many critics' "top ten" lists for 2007, including the American Film Institute,[7] the National Society of Film Critics, the National Board of Review, and the Los Angeles Film Critics Association. At the 80th Academy Awards, the film was nominated for eight Oscars (tying with another Miramax/Paramount Vantage co-production No Country for Old Men). The nominations included Best Picture, Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay for Anderson. Along with Day-Lewis' Oscar for Best Actor, Robert Elswit won the award for Best Cinematography. Dumb Money Move Review
Directed by Craig Gillespie
Dumb Money is the ultimate David vs. Goliath tale, based upon the insane true story of everyday people who flipped the script on Wall Street and got rich by turning GameStop (yes, the mass video game store) into the hottest item on the market.
Who couldn't remember the GameStop Stock frenzy in 2020 and 2021. Not only was it less than three years ago, but it showed the world how horribly rigged the stock market is. So adapting this real life David vs. Goliath to the big screen was going to be no small task and enemies will most likely be made on Wall Street. Thankfully, Dumb Money succeeds in this absurd tale. It's similar to The Big Short but embraces its Reddit humor that drove one of the wildest stock market craze since the 2008 Financial Crisis.
Throughout the film we follow YouTuber/Day Trader Keith Gills from his humble beginnings to becoming a millionaire by creating what we now call "meme stocks". We witness how the top one percent of the one percent try to screw over the little guy time and time again, but to no avail. This madness of a story is constructed well and relatively concise in this 100 minute run time. The story embraces the Reddit memes and humor that drove to this stock market craze with impeccable precision. Nearly every single joke lands and the film is just a fine time to watch. The writing is sharp and the dialogue is witty. Witty enough that is might earn an Oscar nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay.
Paul Dano character of Keith Gills, is the films heart and center. He becomes the anchor to both the narrative and the characters of the film. Dano holds his ground here as the films leading man. We watch him guide fellow traders into the short squeeze, and drain the uber rich of their money. His wide eyed followers played by American Ferrera, Talia Ryder, Myha'la Herrold, and Anthony Ramos, play working calls American struggling to make ends meet, to which all of them succeed. We also watch those in a position of power manipulate the game to their own advantage, played masterfully by Seth Rogan, Nick Offerman, Vincent D'Onofrio, and Sebastian Stan. Each perfectly portray the ego and the greed driving this horrible businessmen. All of these eccentric characters are very well balanced, which each character having their moment to shine, but never outshining one another.
However, within this insanity, the film is never given a chance to dig into certain events and characters due to its broad stoke when approaching the story. Which works for the film, but you can't help but with that the film dig a little deeper into this craze. Overall, Dumb Money is a very fun film that explores the insanity of the stock market game. It never talks down nor lectures its audience on the politics at hand, but instead chooses to show the events that happened in a smart and comedic manner. By the film ends, it gives a glimmer of hope that the everyday man can take down Wall Street because we now have the key. All we need to do, is to be together.
My Rating: B+

THE BATMAN MOVIE TIER LIST PART 2
2006- Batman Begins: Gosh this movie is so good if I'm not being biased this is objectively the best movie in the dark knight trilogy. One thing I will say is I wish Scarecrow had more scenes in the movie but I absolutely love the one scene where he does spray Falcone but I wish I could've seen more. This was peak Christian Bale looks wise and I realized this last night when I was watching the movie. The Ra's Al Ghul plot twist was actually surprising the first time I watched this movie. Alfred was peak overall just amazing. VICTOR ZSASZ MENTION!?! Side note we need more live action Victor Zsasz. I would have to say this movie is S tier.
2008- The Dark Knight: HEATH LEDGER WAS EMACULATE. I do agree that he's just a film bros wet dream for the joker BUT I still love it. This move produced multiple iconic memes just overall so freaking good. If you want my biased opinion this is they best movie in the dark knight trilogy. I can quote most of the Jokers lines by heart and I once watched this movie 3 times in one day. The two downfalls of this movie are Rachel and Two-face. (Refer to meme in pt1) Harvy himself is fine but Two-Face just ain't it chief yknow. And I know Rachel's thing is that she's not like scared of criminals and not scared to stand up for what's right but something that really gives me the ick is when in the penthouse scene during jokers schpeel she just stands and and says "alright, that's enough." Or something like that. Idk it's just like did you really think that was going to stop this insane man?? This movie is A tier as well.
2012- The Dark Knight Rises: If mid was a movie it would be this one. While I absolutely love Bane in this movie I can't stand Catwoman (which is really weird for me cause I usually love her, and I've tried loving her but I just can't.) It's not like a horrible movie it's just not fantabulous. C tier.
2016- Batman Versus Superman: I saw it when I came out in theaters then never watched it again. It was okay??? Idk not much input, I was more interested in the origins of the other members of the Justice League tbh. C tier.
2016- The Killing Joke: Did not like the first 30 minutes. This was the first time I'd ever seen an animated movie based on a comic and don't know what I was expecting but it wasn't to see batman and Barbara Gordon make out w/ implied sex on a rooftop. The first 30mins aren't in the original comic at all. Last half of the movie sticks to the source material almost entirely and it was executed greatly. A tier.
2018- The Lego Batman Movie: OH GOSH this movie is really good. I can watch it with kids when I babysit and we can both enjoy it. Witty remarks, Robin is absolutely adorable, REFRENCES BATMAN (1989) MULTIPLE TIMES!!! Joker isn't a complete dick to Harley. PEAK JOKER DESIGN!! No bad remarks. S teir.
2021- The Long Halloween Pt1 and Pt2: Loved these movies. Wished they made Sofia Falcone look more like Carmine like they did in the comic but her character was still great. I also wish they would've kept the catwoman suit the same as in the comic. Was very easy to sit through almost 3 hrs of movies. Harvy Dent was portrayed amazingly. Once again nothing bad to say about these movies. A tier.
2022- The Batman: I LOVE LOVE LOVE INCEL RIDDLER AMD BATMAN!! I love paul dano in general but God he was so good even though he only had like 15min of screentime throughout the 3hr movie. Zoë Kravitz fucking killed it as Catwoman. Can't forget #daddyoz literally amazing. "what's black and blue and dead all, over? yyyoOOUUU." Bussin soundtrack, got me back into Nirvana tbh. I love the casting for Carmine, wait no I take that back. I love the casting for the whole movie, it was absolutely spectacular 👌. S tier
Anyway that's all guys, if you want to hear my rankings for other movies just ask and I can put them all into a big post. I can put this into picture format if yall want to see it but I'm too lazy to do it rn.

would you write something fluffy for brian weathersby!? like dating or living together hcs
A/N: Would I?!? He's sooo underrated, I loved writing this and I hope it boosts inspo for danonation to write for him too 😄🤎
˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ Dating & Living With Brian Weathersby ˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥
Tumblr media
❥ This guy's a little odd, and likes the boring normalcy of his life... but when you walk into his life, he's whipped
❥ Brian gets reminded of that daily by his friends and he gets really defensive even though he can't really deny it 😂
❥ Such a soft boy, he'll run out to the store at literally midnight if you ask him with those big eyes or skips a day off work to stay at home with you
❥ He loves being like a domestic couple and is actually quite a good cook, helping you happily around the house and making any conversation with you to know you as much as he can
❥ Brian remembers a lot of what you tell him and uses it whenever he buys you little gifts, or his friend will be chatting about something random and suddenly mention something you like, and Bri can't help saying "Oh... they like that 🥰" and then gets all huffy when he's teased lol
❥ Absolutely wants you two to live together since he's convinced you're the one for him, because you're beautiful inside and out and understand him properly and the little loser's a simp 🥺
❥ Once you move in he'll try not to rush you into things he sees happening asap, like starting a family and stuff, and takes you out for cute and casual dates every week and all, watches TV cuddled up on the couch with you at home - all that couple stuff that he's proud to state that he does with you
❥ Adopt a kiddie with him?? Pretty please???? He might cry with the baby when he sees you being all motherly and everything with it and you being like a proper little family together 💕 it's all he could ever want, so yep, he's fulfilled
❥ Of course, adoption's an option, but there's always... you know, no need cus 😏
❥ Very much a domestic guy, he loves cooking with you and helping out around the house and is proud to admit that he does couple-y things with you so yea, he knows what his friends are talking about when they brag about their partners
❥ Brian's main love languages are acts of service and physical affection - they would be words of affirmation too but after rehearsing what he wants to say to you for a couple of minutes in his head, it ends up being really stuttery and timid, though it's still sweet to hear 😊
❥ At first, Brian's a bit hesitant with telling you about his family and random life, but he knows he loves and trusts you and you don't judge him being his quirky self, you actually love him for it
❥ Sometimes you'll wake up to him counting the freckles on your skin or playing with your hair, trying to memorise every inch of you before the intimacy's interrupted by work
❥ Bri's a big cuddler, loves holding you whenever he can, and often presses small, shy kisses on your cheek and neck through it
❥ His friends only tease him because they're jealous of what you've got, and who wouldn't be 🤎
