I'm working on a request for Code Lyoko atm, but meanwhile, here are some headcanons!

Headcanons - Code Lyoko

Aelita Schaeffer

I headcanon that Aelita's music and dj mixing skills are rooted in her dad playing the piano and teaching her about music.

It also gives her trauma and nightmares, as we've all seen in the canon episodes tho..

And though she's smart and brainy, I don't see her going to read literature books or novels. Idk if that's just me.

I think she finds comfort in information rather than fiction, so maybe she would prefer non-fiction genres.

I also think that Aelita would like butterscotch ice cream. It's cute.

There are days where she has hallucinations and nightmares because of X.A.N.A and Franz Hopper and her past, and she would like nothing more than to listen to music while cuddling with Mister Puck and having butterscotch ice cream.

Also, much like Nicholas, a lot of people find Aelita cute. Adding to her popularity that rose from her DJ skills, she's sure to have a lot of people having crushes on her. But of course, she's only got eyes for Jeremie.

Remember that lookalike of Aelita who got only one episode on the show? Taelia? I headcanon that people in Kadic call them twins, and they eventually become good friends. I think Jim would get very confused and would put Aelita and Taelia in different classes for the sake of his own sanity.

Elizabeth "Sissi" Delmas

Sissi is a child of divorce (I think that's also canon).

I headcanon that her parents had a slightly significant age difference, because Principal Delmas looks vv old. Sissi's mom was four years younger than him -- I headcanon her to be a fashion designer, she was very impulsive and liked to live in the moment, but eventually, the love they had for each other fizzled out and they divorced.

I also think that maybe her mom wasn't what you would call "maternal". She knows this too, and accepted it when Sissi's dad contested for her during the divorce. It doesn't mean that her mom loves her less, though. She's just aware that her father could care for her daughter better than she could, and chooses to love Sissi in her own way.

I think it was mentioned somewhere in the website wiki that Sissi goes on shopping sprees with her mom, so that could be their love language. I also think that Sissi digs her mother's fashion style and did a little tweaks of that to turn it into her own.

I think that, Ulrich was her best friend before, and they bonded over having turbulent family situations. It was natural for her to catch feelings for someone who understood her, and hence she liked Ulrich. When Ulrich rejected her (multiple times), she was put off, but just didn't know how to handle their friendship from that point onward.

Sissi knows how to bandage wounds professionally (canon) and I think it was mentioned that she wanted to become a nurse. I definitely see that as a career for her, once she's matured and grown into her own self.

She's definitely a writer on the side. She would write under the pen name Sissi for sure.

I love Sissi a lot. She's so much more than what's shown on screen. I'd have loved to see her grow into the person she's actually meant to become, after some maturity and heart-to-hearts with Ulrich and her parents, too.

Jeremie Belpois

Jeremie needs naps.

A lot of naps. Poor guy.

Jeremie has definitely read classics. I also headcanon Yumi to like classics and literature, so I think both of them would bond a lot over this.

I also headcanon Jeremie to be comfortable with certain colors only – like, he wears blues and browns and some beige tones – and you wouldn't find colors like pink or yellow in his wardrobe.

Jeremie's cousin is said to look like him, right? And that guy – Patrick, I think – was a brunette and wore black rock aesthetic clothing. I think that both of them actually looked similar when they were kids, and Patrick must've changed his look at some point to have that poofy hair instead. This probably annoyed Jeremie, but now that they're on good terms, he probably teases Patrick about it a lot (and also has baby pictures to prove his point).

I can see how I turned this into Patrick headcanons. Sorry.

Jeremie likes long walks during the night. When he's not working on Lyoko related stuff, and when he's not able to sleep, he walks around at night.

His prized possession(s) is the set of polaroids that he took with Aelita on one of her first nights on Earth. He has them in a safe (and yes, he definitely has a safe that he hasn't told anyone about. Except Aelita.).

Laura Gauthier

Laura made some poor choices in Evolution, but hey, Sissi made poor choices in the original show too! People can always improve, and change.

Laura was brought up in a very strict household, where only the very best was expected from her.

That's why she desperately wanted to show her dad the laboratory at the old factory and say, "See? I'm a part of something big."

Laura has closeted lesbian energy. Evolution kinda made a big rivalry between Aelita and Laura for Jeremie, to see who was his better equal and all, but I think Laura didn't care about that and just liked getting Aelita riled up. I think Laura is more into girls, romantically speaking.

I headcanon that Laura buys clothes from Sissi's mom's fashion brand.

I can see her being a fan of "ceilings" by Lizzy McAlpine.

I think Laura has the potential to be even smarter than Jeremie, even better than him, too. But she lacks some of his empathy. It's not necessarily a bad thing -- just shows how people who are similar are also different.

Adding on to this, Laura might not be very in touch with her emotions, and might come off as unempathetic. She's just misunderstood, but she's not helping her own case.

Like with Sissi, I think she could be so much more, if she matures and grows into her truest self.

Odd Della Robbia

BEFORE I START, LET ME JUST SAY THAT ODD DELLA ROBBIA IS THE BEST FICTIONAL CHARACTER TO EXIST.

I know it's said that Samantha Knight is the person Odd really really loves, but I headcanon Odd to be a no-commitments soul. He enjoys PDA and dates, but he's probably the most comfortable when he's by himself.

He's a top-tier bisexual.

I headcanon that Odd is allergic to cats. His family definitely seems like the type to have cats at home and he's hated it because all he's done is sneeze.

He's the family favourite. I think this is canon too, which is why he was allowed to get Kiwi as a pet. His sisters probably hated that smh.

This might be a personal wish-fulfilment headcanon, but I think Odd didn't learn how to ride a bicycle. He learned the skateboard, but not the bicycle.

He also feels like the kind of person to hate long car rides? He doesn't like sitting in one place for hours.

Odd is really good at remembering birthdays, anniversaries, and special days. Considering how he had to remind Ulrich that Yumi's birthday had passed, this is probably a canon thing.

Ulrich Stern

Ulrich's a rich kid. Canon. He's known Sissi for ages. Canon.

I headcanon that Ulrich and Sissi were on good terms before both of them hit puberty and Sissi kept forcing herself onto him.

Ulrich's best friend was probably Sissi before everything went downhill between them. Then, Odd and the Lyoko warriors happened.

Martial arts are Ulrich's way of communicating with his inner self. Penchaksilat, karate... he's very self-disciplined.

I think that's why he is so attracted to Yumi in the first place. Her being his equal in terms of martial arts would have been very appealing to him.

With reference to Aelita, Ulrich gives big brother energy and Odd gives little brother energy.

Ulrich is probably the most protective of Aelita out of them all. Of course, Jeremie worships her, but Ulrich has the means to fight anyone who messes with his lil sis.

He played with a lot of samurai toys when he was younger.

Ulrich seems to be the type of guy to like haunted houses.

William Dunbar

I LOVE WILLIAM WITH MY HEART AND SOUL, YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND—

Well.

William is definitely king of reading classics and books. He gives Yumi a book on poetry in Evolution, right? He loves romance novels and crime thrillers, and probably reads for an hour a day.

When you think about it, William and Ulrich are very similar. Both of them are only childs with wealthy backgrounds, but the difference lies in the fact that William is loved by his parents, while Ulrich's relationship with his own are strained.

William's favorite fruit is orange.

Lyoko gave him a lot of PTSD, but he loves the thrill, and he's still a very honorable man. That's why he comes back.

William and Aelita have an unusual friendship, I think. They can relate to being haunted by X.A.N.A. It's very unfortunate that they have limited interactions in the show and in Evolution too.

I can definitely see William going into the military or the CIA. He gives me those vibes.

ALSO, I think William would probably end up with someone who's way younger than him (maybe 3 years younger) – someone with a lot of vitality and optimism �� and probably blonde.

(My OC for William is blonde, but this isn't about me—)

MOVING ON

Yumi Ishiyama

Yumi was brought up in a very traditional household, as we know.

Yumi would be very into Asian literature and classics, as mentioned in Jeremie's section.

Yumi doesn't look like it to most people, but she's the most motherly out of all of them. She's a big sister, and she's had to raise Hiroki when her parents were fighting and they almost divorced and all.

I think Yumi's slightly spiritual too. Not to the extent where she fully believes in prayers and ancient rituals, but she understands the significance of her culture and respects them.

Yumi loves fireworks and shooting stars. I headcanon her as a bit of an astrology freak.

I also think that Yumi is bisexual? Or at least, she's always been curious about it.

I think she's had a curious phase about everything. But once she understands, she has the capacity to evaluate for herself and make right decisions.

A/N: These are just my personal headcanons. I can do more of these, and relationship headcanons or friendship headcanons too, if I get requests, or strokes of inspiration. I hope you like these!

You're finding many cool things!

Ok, I'll add some thoughts, because Reefer Rick also makes me think about Richard Brenner, who was first mentioned in two articles in S1.

There are many Richards in the show, and imo they're all references to the same guy. Richard Brenner. In S2, there is Richard Fryer (still laughing about that). The journalist who wrote about Terry's case. Interestingly, Martin is also mentioned in the article, but we see the name Richard next to Brenner and Terry's photo. Terry, whose brain was fried by Brenner.

Ricky, the clerk at Seven Eleven (!) in S3, surrounded by cigarettes. Cigarettes, weed...

Then Reefer Rick, who supplied drugs to Eddie. Richard Brenner was the Head of the Narcotic Enforcement Division from 1954 (the year Henry vanished)-1971 (the year Will and El were born)

You, and Robin in the show, also pointed out that Reefer Rick's last name is Lipton, like the tea. I think this is interesting for two reasons. What you found about Lipton Tea's founder, that there was a William Love in his life (I love it) And another connection to Brenner. In fact, someone noticed (sorry, I don't remember who) that in the crossword puzzle in 4x01, Tillerman's beverage is tea, a reference to Cat Stevens' album Tea for the Tillerman. And tillerman could be a reference to Brenner's father, who was captain of the USS Eldridge.

I think there are also other connections. Like this shot you posted

This could be foreshadowing of something in S5, like you said. But it also reminds me of this creepy shot in S1.

And this one in S2. Dick-> short for Richard. Dick Brenner? Lol, yeah

Then this

We hear this line, Down in Berlin town, when they show Rick's house. This makes me think of another Richard, with a German last name, who is mentioned in 1x03. Richard Schaeffer. At the lab, this is what the security guard named Patrick, like the boy who dies in Lover's Lake, says to Hopper:

Hopper: Okay… A quick look around. Patrick: You have to get clearance for that. You can contact, uh… Rick Schaeffer* at the Department of Energy. Hopper: Maybe you’ve seen it on TV. We got a local kid that’s missing. We have reason to believe he might have snuck in here. Patrick: Like I said, you have to speak to Mr. Schaeffer

*Schaeffer is a German surname, a variant of Schaefer, from schäfer (shepherd), and of Schaffer, from a noun, meaning steward or bailiff.

English variant: Shepherd, or Shepard. Like the guy who is killed in the UD in 1x04. What I find interesting, is that Brenner calls him son (he also calls Henry son in TFS) and that in 4x08, when El says that Brenner made her look for Henry, they show the flashback of that scene. So, maybe they want us to connect the name Shepard to Richard (Schaeffer) Brenner and him calling someone son.

Ok, I don't think Shepard was Brenner's son, but there's a lot to say about Papa Brenner and the many mentions of fathers and sons connected to him, in the show and TFS. And the fact that all started with Brenner's father? I was so surprised! I have so many thoughts (and a crazy theory about Brenner and his father lol) Maybe I'll make a post about that.

So, this is what I've found about Richard.

Now, back to Lover's Lake! My theory is that, since the names Rick-Richard and Eddie, like Edward Creel, mentioned in one of the articles about the massacre in 1959, are connected to the past, I think not only will something important happen to Will and Mike at Lover's Lake, but something (bad) has already happened there in the past to another couple, Joyce and Hopper and their family.

I think the hint is Will's drawings in S2. He draws the shape of Lover's Lake, and we see it in Joyce's room, twice. And the second time she is with Hopper, and they're mourning.

Alright so. Wow this is just gonna be books. There's everything i read in September, and everything i've read so far in October. i'm not putting all these in the tags. Suffer. ♡

Zhara (Guardians of Dawn #1) by S. Jae-Jones 4/5 - i adored this book, it was so good. It was so anime and i really loved that. Very excited for the next book!

The Vermilion Emporium by Jamie Pacton 1.5/5 - Just... didn't feel this one.

Crown of Moonlight (Court of Midnight and Deception #2) by K.M. Shea 4/5 - Doot doot KU UF? Yesss~

The Spirit Bares Its Teeth by Andrew Joseph White 5/5 (Probable BotY!!) - OH FUCK. This book saw me, saw right into my deep dark dirty secrets and ripped them out into the light and oh shit this was good. i love AJW, i really do, and i'm excited for more!

The Slow Regard of Silent Things by Patrick Rothfuss 5/5 (reread) - Auri is love, Auri is life!

The Queen's Crown (Court of Midnight and Deception #3) by K.M. Shea 4/5 Yep yep yep. This is probably my favorite of the trilogies so far?

Hunted (Pack of Dawn and Destiny #1) by K.M. Shea 3/5 - Fun fun~

United (Pack of Dawn and Destiny #2) by K.M. Shea 3/5 - Book two of a cute grumpy romance~

Together We Rot by Skyla Arndt 2/5 - Argh i wanted so much more from this. >_>

Godkiller (Godkiller #1) by Hannah Kaner 4/5 - AHH! This was so good, i really enjoyed it and i really need the second one!

Monstrous by Jessica Lewis 3/5 - This was pretty decent. It kinda made me crave a second book, but i'm fine without.

What Stalks Among Us by Sarah Hollowell 4/5 - Eek, another book that ripped me open! This was so good, i love it!

Fated (Pack of Dawn and Destiny #3) by K.M. Shea 3/5 - Finish off this trilogy!

Starter Villain by John Scalzi 4.5/5 - The bloody madlad did it again. i love Scalzi, i really do, and this book was no different. It was so much fun and had me yelling multiple times. (And come on, the cover is a cat in a business suit, how do you not love that!)

A Gathering of Shadows (Shades of Magic #2) by V.E. Schwab 3/5 - The very slow progression of my reading of this series. It's aight. Am actually kinda intrigued as to what's coming up next.

Fireborne (The Aurelian Cycle #1) by Rosaria Munda 4/5 - THIS. This is what i wanted Fourth Wing to be!! Very good, very spicy.

I Feed Her to the Beast and the Beast Is Me by Jamison Shea 4/5 - Oh i do love a villain origin story. This was vicious and darkly thrilling and so so beautiful. It had light brushes of romance, strong platonic connections, a deep pool of mystery that reveled in horror and delighted in misdirection, the deep underbelly of ballet, and a young woman tearing her way through it all by teeth and claw and sheer force of will. And a little bit of eldritch horror-y magical machinations thrown in.

Shadow Coven (The Witchery #2) by S. Isabelle 2/5 - This one is sad. i really loved the first one, but oh no this one… had so much bouncing around. So many PoV's so many different places so much happening - it was so hard to keep track of anything. i kinda don't really know what all went on. Overwhelming. But what i could keep track of, i did enjoy quite a bit.

What Became of Magic by Paige Crutcher 3/5 - i have a love/dislike relationship with Paige Crutcher. The Orphan Witch i absolutely adored, it was such a good book, it really hit me in a lot of heart places, i absolutely adore a found family chaos adventure! Then came The Lost Witch which was… bland. Convoluted. Lackluster. Sad. And now we have What Became of Magic. It lands kind of in the middle between the two. Often enough, it hit, and oh did it hit good. But otherwise it was… i found myself skimming to get to the next 'hit'. It was kinda disappointing. Maybe next time, Paige!

Cage of Dreams (City of Nightmares #2) by Rebecca Schaeffer 4/5 - WHAT A GOOD BOOK ahhh what a good duology what a good ending. That ending! How dare. i want more. i crave more. Gimmie!

Hex of the Witch (The Other Witch #1) by Heather G. Harris 4/5 - i love Harris' The Other Realm books, and this one is fantastic. AmberxBastion is my OTP! Can't wait for book 2 next month.

Dire Straits (The Austin Wolves #3) by C.P. Rider 3/5 - i really love this UF KU series, the whole extended universe. It's very good.

Gray Days (Black Hat Bureau #9) by Hailey Edwards 4/5 - i have read and will continue to read everything Hailey Edwards has put out. This book -- THE ENDING uuughhhh how dare, so cruel, so evil! So excited for more!

What i've read through October thus far! - The King's Captive (Gates of Myth and Power #1) by K.M. Shea 3/5 - Book 1 of a pretty good trilogy.

The King's Shadow (Gates of Myth and Power #2) by K.M. Shea 3/5 Doot doot KU UF gogo!

The King's Queen (Gates of Myth and Power #3) by K.M. Shea 3/5 - Alright and now we start the wait for More Magiford Gogo!

Flamefall (The Aurelian Cycle, #2) by Rosaria Munda 2.75/5 - i really struggled with the first, oh, 3/4 of this one. i understand the stakes, but oof, gritty abuse for abuse sake is a lot. i can't wait for Ixion's death, i hope it comes soon into book 3, what a pos i'm very interested to see where book 3 takes me!

Furysong (The Aurelian Cycle, #3) by Rosaria Munda 4/5 - HELL YES! That is how you fuckin' end it, i'm SO thrilled!

Beholder by Ryan La Sala 4.5/5 - This is going to be like, top 3 of the year, imo, this was so so so good, another one that ripped me open. So good. Whew. Loved it.

And this might be a stretch but there’s something rattling in my brain about Eleanor Gillespie vs Alice Gilbert and the “G,” last names when thinking about the possibility of an Eleanor Creel (which, if El is actually a Creel, she’s likely Edward’s daughter, which would mean that Mother-Alice would be El’s grandmother, so I’m Staring at Alice Glibert).

Four Years

And the four years thing is definitely rattling something for me because two years is something that comes up CONSTANTLY in timeline analysis (Victor is two years younger in Edward’s timeline, Eddie Munson’s missing poster is off by two years, the Creels moved to Hawkins two years earlier in Edward’s timeline, the Creels lived in Hawkins for two years in Edward’s timeline etc etc). I haven’t seen a ton about four years specifically, but it’s gotta tie in somehow, because four years DOES pop up quite often.

And focusing on four years specifically and the fact that four years from the garage scene takes us to 1979, and that Hopper’s been back in Hawkins for four years and that it’s been four years since the elden tree campaign, and Eleanor Gillespie getting her head attacked during those four years and the massacre happening in 1979 and GOD WHAT IS GOING ON THERE’s DEFINITELY SOMETHING HERE!!!

It’s really interesting to me that Eleanor Gillespie got her head attacked during those four years, beginning in 1979, because shouldn’t that be the end of when El got her head attacked by 001, considering that she sent him to superhell? Unless, of course Brenner was the one attacking her mind. Staring at all of the weird, absolutely constant, Vecna-Brenner parallels… god.. what is going on here.

so @aemiron-main's recent post pointing out Hopper mentioning some girl named Alice got me thinking how it's strange how many minor randos mentioned have names that get reused later on the show.

definitely weird that Alice and Henry both get recycled. those are the big ones, but there are more.

not going anywhere with this, but fyi I think this is Henry. I don't know if it's the same Henry who went missing, but seems likely.

whoever Bev Mooney is, we have another BevMo in the mix - the news anchor who reports Chrissy's murder is named Beverly Moss.

and speaking of Chrissy:

I was calling this a coincidence until I got literally here in the post realized that all of these are mentioned by/to/in connection with Hopper, and are all people introduced in Season 4.

the only s4 exception I've thought of so far is

btw I swear didn't somebody say something about Henry and owls once? "attacking heads"... "four years" being mentioned yet again in the first episode (when the kids are leaving Mike's garage)... '79-'83... I feel like I'm seeing something out the corner of my eye here. Eleanor Creel I'm rooting for you

poor baby I mean don't get me wrong he's a shithead in this episode but I understand where his head is completely and it's all defensive mechanism.

And he's doing the skid program in this ep on his own while Aelita's out with the gang and I know in his head he's wishing she would stay and help him but he cares about her and knows that she deserves to have fun and it'd be too controlling of him to ask her to stay instead of living a normal human life

and then she comes back and calls him a three-year-old for being rude to his cousin and he's like ‘just fuck everything’ ‘GET OUT OF MY ROOM ALL OF YOU BEFORE I YELL AT YOU’ ‘BECAUSE I AM VERY CLOSE TO DOING THAT AND I'D RATHER GIVE YOU THE COLD SHOULDER AND GET WORK DONE THAN HAVE A FIGHT AND SAY STUPID THINGS AGAIN’

and of course he covers for him anyway because anyone with eyes can see that this shit is reaaaally important and if sissi's messing with it for petty reasons, they should, maybe, talk to jeremie first

As for what to make of both cousins’ behavior in this episode:

Patrick probably grew up a fair bit since the last time he and Jeremie have seen each other. Because the way he defers to Jeremie treating him like shit speaks to Jeremie being truthful about Patrick making him miserable at times when they were younger

Probably without realizing it, but hindsight makes him understand. He knows Jeremie was friendless and he knows Jeremie can’t have had it easy, being as intelligent as he is and incapable of really reaching out to people on his own.

Being that awkward dork at camp isn’t exactly an uncommon predicament. But,when you have one person that you do know, like a family member, and that person--as Jeremie mentions happened when they had vacation trips together together--that person doesn’t pay attention to you in favor of making friends of their own? Maybe friends you’d almost connected with first, but they do it more easily, and then suddenly you’re both alone and betrayed--that’s a hurt that hits hard during childhood. That leaves an impression.

Patrick has the capacity of most charming people to make easy targets (or situational casualties) of the people around him to lighten the mood and break the ice. Luckily he also has the self-awareness to understand as a teenager that his own behavior as a kid could have been hurtful.

(Catastrophically so, in the case of Jeremie who has always been acutely aware all the time that he’s different, in ways that make people around him hard to win over and often just harder to tolerate long enough to make befriending them worth the effort. Something so close to sabotage as a person/family member that he sees on rare occasions only, has an easy time with people, and doesn’t share them again once he’s gotten their attention? Jeremie is neurotic. Of course there’s a grudge.

But Jeremie is capable of learning. And Jeremie is very, very good at the art of Getting It Right the Second Time™.

So he lets it go. And is nonetheless probably heartily relieved when his cousin disappears back into the ether, when this episode is done.)

ahhhh I love Aelita in this episode's second half she starts snapping at the others to shut up / quit complaining because Jeremie's in danger and she knows the last conversation they had was mean on her part (justifiably in context, but that hardly matters when it's life or death)

This was actually really easy for a newbie because it’s not like I have so many to choose from 🤔 In chronological order...

An Evolving Palate >> Stevie/OFC (rated M)

Stevie goes to Jake’s for a whisky or whatever, but ends up wine-tasting instead.

Stevie watched David get a little softer when Patrick came into his life. She saw the sharpest edges of his armor smoothed out to make room for someone else to break through them. She secretly admires that he was brave enough to make that leap, and despite how similar they are, she’s wondered before if she could ever do that.

This night of surprises and revelations seems to be suggesting she and David have more in common than she ever realized. So maybe she can follow his lead and muster up a little faith in someone new. Maybe she can take one more risk tonight. Maybe she can chase the unexpected for once, and this woman pressing her against the wall and taking her apart with every grind and slide and squeeze will follow her.

Most of David’s stories from New York weren’t nearly this wholesome or pleasant, so to hear about something that made David so clearly joyful did a lot to soothe the ache those stories had left on Patrick’s own heart.

Patrick explains to David that "I Love You" means never having to say you're sorry for morning breath.

“I love you, too,” he whispers into David’s throat and feels the sharp gasp against his lips. “And I always want to kiss you, David. I’d never stop kissing you, if that was possible. Kissing you is the best thing that’s ever happened to me and I want to do it for the rest of my life.”

I Can't Stand the Rain(e) >> David & Jake (rated T)

After beating Sebastien at his own game, David visits another former lover—but gets more than the simple distraction he was looking for.

“You can leave if you need to, but you came here for a reason, right?” Jake raises an eyebrow and David looks away, blushing. “I don’t think that's what you really need, though, and that’s not really my scene.” He continues stroking David’s arms, warming them and soothing the lingering frizzle of raw nerves just under the skin. “But I can still make you feel good, if you let me.”

David takes a deep breath and mentally shakes off his doubts and reservations. Jake isn’t the type of partner David could have built a long-term relationship with, and their fling may have ended awkwardly, but it was amicable and David doesn’t look back on their time together with any kind of regret or bitterness. Jake is a good guy. He can trust Jake with this.

And last but not least... #5 is the next one. Which actually is written, but I can't tell you anything about it because it's part of Passions & Pastimes! But I really like it and I hope everyone else does, too!

Similar to the original episode in the 3rd season

Jeremie meets Ulrich because of a biology project in Ms. Hertz’s class.

Odd gets introduced as the new overseas student by Jim.

Odd is partnered with Jeremie and Ulrich due to there already being an even number of students.

Yumi’s first year as a student at Kadic is explained when she meets Ulrich at the Pencak Silat class taught by Jim.

This is the explanation for why she doesn’t have friends & why people confuse her for Chinese.

Parallel to the episode, Ulrich and Odd discover the supercomputer and ‘Maya’ when helping Jeremie with his robots suddenly attacking him.

Odd eagerly volunteers to be virtualized first to Lyoko to meet ‘Maya’ following Ulrich when Odd is in trouble.

The boys agree to help ‘Maya’ and try to turn off the supercomputer the following day.

Odd notices Ulrich staring at Yumi while on campus, pushing him to talk to her even if he doesn’t know what happened in martial arts class.

Ulrich apologizes to Yumi for being standoff-ish & wants to continue practicing together.

Sissi gets jealous and follows them around, causing her to get caught in a XANA trap.

This is how she sees the supercomputer leading to the first return to the past.

The group promises to keep everything between them and help Aelita.

Keynotes for S1 storyline

The main goal is to bring back Aelita from Loyko.

Jeremie learns how Odd, Ulrich, and Yumi can feel phantom pains after being devirtualized on Lyoko.

Ulrich learns Yumi moved from Japan just the year prior.

Yumi introduces the boys to her parents and little brother since she has a good relationship with Mr. & Mrs. Ishiyama.

The boys learn how Hiroki is an intelligent kid while mischievous, something Odd takes note of when they hang out.

Due to both their somewhat poor communication skills, Ulrich and Yumi dance around the fact they both like each other.

Ulrich does end up having a girlfriend in S1, a blonde German girl named Viktoria.

Yumi represses her feeling once seeing Ulrich happy with someone.

Sissi and Yumi get into a fight when Sissi threatens Ulrich with exposing his journal to everyone.

Jeremie struggles with the balance of Lyoko and the real world, forgetting about his parents to the point they drive to Kadic for a wellness check.

Odd develops a secret crush on Aelita as time gets closer to materializing her.

The warriors learn about Ulrich’s estranged relationship with his family when Kadic hosts a Family Day. Ulrich is the only one from the group to not have a family member visit.

Mr. & Mrs. Ishiyama has sympathy towards Ulrich and wants to know what goes on with him in his schooling like a parent, even advising on how to help his grades.

Two of Odd’s sisters, Adele and Pauline, come for Family Day.

Sissi doesn’t leave Ulrich alone until it makes Victoria dump Ulrich towards the end of the season.

Yumi is a shoulder for Ulrich to lean on.

When Aelita is finally materialized and done safely with her ability to attend school in S2, Yumi can see Odd’s crush but promises to keep it between them.

Season 2

2x01

On Aelita’s first day enrolled in Kadic Academy for the spring semester, she is linked to Ulrich’s cousin instead of Odd’s.

As everyone comes back from winter vacation, Ulrich notices a new student in Yumi’s class named William.

Hearing from Odd through the grapevine of William, Ulrich isn’t a fan right away especially seeing how close William appears when speaking to Yumi.

Ulrich tries to not be jealous but can’t help it as Yumi seems to be enjoying herself when speaking to William.

Viktoria talks to Ulrich again to catch up, making Yumi internally jump to conclusions.

While in class, Odd asks Aelita to join him to take Kiwi out during lunch.

This confuses Ulrich & (especially) Jeremie, but Aelita agrees to have a breath of fresh air.

During lunch, Yumi introduces William to Ulrich and Jeremie but asks where Odd and Aelita are.

William jokes about Odd and Aelita being a secret couple.

Jeremie doesn’t find this funny and storms to the library.

Ulrich takes this as William being a rude person, a green light to being vocal on his dislike towards him, then follows Jeremie to the library.

Yumi doesn’t appreciate Ulrich’s attitude, following William for lunch.

Aelita and Odd come across an abandoned house called “The Hermitage” and enter the forest.

Aelita feels intense deja vu, suddenly having unknown flashbacks in the building.

Odd finds the place creepy, especially when discovering what looks like a little girl’s room.

Xana. Return to the past. Yumi and Ulrich reunite on a bench during the lunch period.

Yumi tells Ulrich about Odd’s crush on Aelita

Ulrich is surprised but also should’ve seen it coming after thinking

She understands Ulrich’s coldness towards William after the comment.

Ulrich says he’ll be better at biting his tongue and won’t tell Jeremie about Odd’s crush.

Aelita is back in the forest alone, standing in front of The Hermitage.

Aelita is determined to discover her connection to The Hermitage with or without Jeremie’s help.

Aelita has been rewarded a scholarship to attend Kadic Academy.

William’s backstory of hot-headed comes more to light, specifically with Ulrich in physical activities.

Ulrich tries his best to not let William get the best of him, knowing it will blow up in his face if he does.

Yumi struggles with feeling homesick & out of place from being far away from Japan.

Sissi tries to mess with Yumi’s head about Ulrich and Aelita’s about Jeremie.

Viktoria tries to be friends with Yumi but can’t due to Sissi’s words.

Odd learns to become more mature to better himself after events blow in his face with Aelita.

Aelita is trying her best to be oblivious to Odd’s feelings as she has never been in this situation.

Odd actually does give something to Aelita for Valentine’s Day

Ulrich gives Yumi a necklace

Yumi helps give Aelita as much advice as possible, knowing she is also in the same boat since William came to Kadic.

Ulrich gives Odd advice to back off Aelita because he knows how much Jeremie likes her.

Jeremie finds all of Aelita’s personal information on Franz Hopper’s CDs.

When Odd tries to move on from Aelita, he ends up making regressing back to immaturity with girls as a ‘casanova.’

Xana takes control of the ‘return to the past’ program, causing the gang not to use it in S2.

Jeremie teaches Ulrich how to use the supercomputer first in simple terms for basic things.

Ulrich’s father surprises Ulrich and meets his friends, showing a strong dislike for Yumi, which causes a stronger refit between the two.

Odd tells Jeremie his feelings for Aelita after her almost dying on Lyoko.

There is ambiguity on what Jeremie does with this information.

When it is the end of the year & time for everyone to go home, Aelita stays with Yumi for the over month-long summer break.

Viktoria tells Ulrich she isn’t coming back to Kadic after this year. She also tells Ulrich to go for it with Yumi.

Ulrich decides to spend most of the break with Jeremie in France instead of going back to Germany.

Season 3

3x01

The Warriors come back to Kadic from their summer break, where luckily, Xana hasn’t done anything to harm Earth. A note Aelita takes as Xana, knowing they were apart without a trace.

The Warrior’s all meet in the courtyard as they wait for their new class schedules.

During the break, Jeremie reprogrammed the Return To The Past and added new programs to the supercomputer.

A new additive is Odd, gaining unlimited laser arrows and flexibility similar to a cat.

Jeremie asks Odd if they could speak in private, going to a bench away from the others.

The two talk about their mutual crush on Aelita and promise to not let it get between them as friends.

Jeremie asks if Odd really likes Aelita and is surprised to hear an honest, genuine response from him for once.

While everyone is waiting under the arches, William comes up at Yumi, eager to catch up after the break.

Ulrich remains distant to William after the constant back and forth, which William has no problem with.

Yumi can see the discomfort from Ulrich and excuses the two of them to another part of the campus.

Sissi catches Ulrich & Yumi holding hands ‘demands’ an explanation but doesn’t actually get one.

After returning back from the core of Lyoko, the talk about adding a fifth member is first brought up.

Keynotes for S3 storyline

Outfit changes for everyone to start the new school year.

Yumi changes her from black all around to a pink skirt, black tights, and a thin long sleeve skull top.

Aelita’s outfit is an updated version of what she was wearing when virtualized on Lyoko. A purple heart baby T-shirt with black shorts and pink tights plus lace-up boots.

Odd is lowkey with his acts of kindness to Aelita.

Ulrich’s mother, Emilia, comes to visit, where she catches Ulrich and Yumi together under a tree. Emilia doesn’t like Yumi right away.

Emilia and Ulrich argue about their distance as if it was only Ulrich who caused it.

Ulrich states how he’s the kid and shouldn’t be reaching out all the time to his parents.

Jeremie and Aelita show Yumi and Odd how to use the supercomputer after a mission where Jeremie cannot use it.

William is initiated as a Lyoko Warrior in the middle of the season.

Yumi is highly vocal against it the whole time because she doesn’t trust him.

Odd and Ulrich help train William to be a better fighter but notice his cocky attitude never changing even after a few Lyoko trips.

Aelita gains the power of foreshadowing instead of Odd getting it back.

Yumi is honest about her feelings to Ulrich after he doesn’t return at all from a mission.

He gets frozen in Xana’s dome.

They finally get together.

Ulrich teaches Hiroki and Johnny how to approach girls respectfully.

Aelita and Jeremie have growing tension from Jeremie’s repetitive stubborn overprotectiveness.

Odd and Aelita grow closer as they expand their creative passion for music.

Jeremie becomes jealous of Odd and Aelita spending time together only to make it worse with Aelita.

William takes Yumi and Ulrich’s new relationship way too hard. He becomes irresponsible when on Lyoko resulting in him getting caught by the Scyphozoa.

Aelita blames herself for William as she hazily saw the mission leading in that direction.

Season 4

4x01

Following Lyoko getting destroyed by Xana, the warriors are on high alert of anything on Earth.

Aelita is the one to find what Franz Hopper sent to the supercomputer to help reprogram Lyoko.

Jeremie and Aelita set up Sector Five and the forest sector first before other parts of Lyoko.

Jeremie improves Yumi’s telepathic ability and gives everyone super sprint instead of only Ulrich. (Aelita with flying)

The Warriors think of a plan to handle William the next day.

Ulrich tries to help find it, knowing his situation with Sissi last year.

Hiroki gets caught in a Xana trap that smacks him unconscious, causing Yumi to panic for her brother.

Yumi stays on Earth with her parents while the others go to Lyoko to deactivate the tower.

After the return to the past, Jeremie begins looking for a temporary solution for William’s absence.

Yumi, Ulrich, and Hiroki go out for ice cream as all is forgiven.

Yumi tells Ulrich she’ll one day show him what she wrote before they got together.

Ulrich promises to do the same.

Keynotes for S4 storyline

The William Clone is programmed to have adaptive sensors, making him somewhat normal to the unknown person.

Odd’s parents and older sister Marie come visit Odd to watch his short film.

Marie gives Odd advice for his love triangle dilemma.

When it is time for the week of Christmas break, the Warriors find a way to spend the holiday with Yumi to be all together.

Ulrich and Yumi almost break up from a misunderstanding by Xana disguising themselves as each other.

Xana-Ulrich creates an argument with Yumi while Xana-Yumi kisses another classmate.

Odd mischievously submits Aelita’s mix CD for the Subdigitals audition when she cannot make it.

Aelita is grateful to Odd when she is picked as a finalist.

Odd gets kicked out of the group for showing the new exchange student Brynja the factory.

Once back into the group (called on by Jeremie), Aelita and Odd get into an argument that lasts longer than any Yumi and Ulrich fight.

Jeremie is the mediator for Aelita and Odd, telling the two to be honest with each other.

Odd tells Aelita he likes her finally, and Aelita says she doesn’t know her feelings. Jeremie tells her it’s okay if she likes Odd back.

Aelita needs time to think, and the boys give her as much space as she needs.

Jeremie’s cousin Patrick enrolls at Kadic permanently, allowing the two to grow closer as family.

Patrick helps Jeremie come out of his shell a little bit, and in return, Jeremie tells Patrick about Lyoko.

Patrick promises to keep it a secret and thinks Lyoko is insane when sent to be part of ‘Return To The Past’.

William comes back a little bit before the last episode.

Yumi and William have a conversation where he apologizes for his actions on Lyoko and reacting horribly to her and Ulrich’s relationship.

William does a whole apology tour with the Warriors about his carelessness that led to getting trapped by Xana.

Odd and Ulrich are verbal about their distrust for William, especially to his face.

As Aelita finishes destroying Xana and comes back to Earth, Odd is the one to catch her as she cries for the loss of her father.

Series Finale

With Xana now destroyed thanks to the power of Franz Hopper’s sacrifice, the warriors must now turn off the supercomputer as there is no real purpose anymore. To Yumi’s surprise, the rest of the warriors are hesitant to turn it off. Yumi gets upset when everyone but her vote to not turn off the supercomputer and is quite confused by it.

Yumi distances herself from the rest of the group, not wanting to hear what their excuses are.

In an irritated voice due to Yumi being stubborn, Ulrich says he likes being a hero who feels unstoppable. He doesn’t get that feeling on Earth where he struggles in school with parents who are hardly present in his life.

Yumi says encouraging words about how Ulrich is a great person on Earth who cares for his friends and others.

Jeremi tells Patrick and Aelita how he is scared of turning back into a loner after shutting Lyoko off.

Patrick tells Jeremie he shouldn’t worry about that because the Warriors are all really close.

Aelita says they have a bond that can’t be broken even if they all live in different countries.

While in gym class, Aelita asks Odd why he didn’t want the supercomputer to be shut off.

Odd doesn’t want to turn it off then begin to miss it, but he knows it is for the best.

William tells Jeremie they need to shut the computer down after everything that’s happened bad to him.

Yumi apologizes for her stubbornness and hears out everyone's reasoning for not wanting to say goodbye to Lyoko yet.

Aelita talks to Odd about what they could be like in the future.

They never fully say out loud what happens, and there are no hard feelings from Jeremie.

One last hiccup from Sissi resulted in the last return to the past by Jeremie and Patrick. Aelita and Odd are sitting together on one bench while Yumi and Ulrich are under a tree.
