Now I found why Mob Deep’s “Temperature’s Rising” (1995) was so fucking good. A Tribe Called Quest’s Q-Tip took the B-side’s intro- and changed up the pitch to 9%. That’s one reason why I listened to it 100 times already. The other reason? I was in the mood to re-visit golden-era hip-hop once again; otherwise known as “the block”.
