I had either the pleasure or misfortune of walking into a Purple mattress store with my friend today for funsies, both of us broke as hell and neither looking for a new mattress but wanting to pretend for a little while that we had money in this big touristy outlet mall. And I need you to tell me something awful about these beds because the only thing I could say as we left was "I need to win the lottery." The salesman had us lay on the soft bed (per my preference) and then showed us the adjustable settings and the vibration mode. The pillows alone are like 250 but I don't think I have ever been so comfortable in my life. Please ruin this picture perfect out of budget bed for me. Or at least give me hope that I can find something just as comfy at a better cost once I look to replace my mattress with a new one.

Do you want to know a secret? When your bed is old and broken down almost every bed should feel amazing to you. Because it is new and still functioning as a bed.

Purple is not remotely in the ballpark of what I consider good bang for buck in general terms. For one major reason: they come in a box. Why?? Why compress a luxury bed into a box!? It just degrades the support.

I’ve made my peace with selling Purple and if it were not compressed with the gel grid I’d say they’re a top contender but as it stands I have reservations about their longevity.

Rescuing Aziraphale isn't what makes Crowley happy, not really. He doesn't want him to be in danger in the first place. He wants him safe. He wants him happy.

But he does like having an excuse to take care of him, to protect him, to dote on him in a way that's safe, acceptable and would be honestly illogical to turn away. Like Crowley walks into that church, burning his feet all the way and Aziraphale nearly shoos him away? (Because of the fight all those years ago, because he must be in league with these Nazis) But Aziraphale is in actual, real danger of being discorporated, of being sent back to heaven for who knows how long, so how can he actually reject Crowley's offer to protect him, right?

So every time Crowley does this, the whole "gallant knight swooping in to save Aziraphale from his own follies" thing, it's basically completely irrejectable, safe love Crowley can offer up to Aziraphale with no fear of rejection or overstepping the invisible line between them. Aziraphale can say "you go too fast for me, Crowley" a hundred times in so many varied ways and Crowley accepts this but he's never going to reject Crowley's love when it comes to him as a hand pulling him free of oblivion. That's what Crowley likes. Being able to love Aziraphale in a way that he knows will never be rejected.

I'm surprised that if you go to the party with D they don't ask the MC about C at all, since they only just found out that they were C’s infamous rival lol. Weren't they curious about MC’s side of things?

of course they were, and that’s a scene i’ve written for the next chapter 🤭 at the moment tho, D just wanted to enjoy MC’s company (and the first party to kick off the new semester).

plus, it’s not like there was going to be much of a variation in the accounts unless MC had a pre-existing crush on C or had a different outlook on the whole rivalry situation.

Sometimes I kiiiinda wonder if Disney/Lucasfilm was thrown for a loop by Just. How. Popular. Tech ended up being.

And I'm not just talking about his popularity in terms of all the fan chatter elicited after the season 2 finale. No, based on what I saw in the fan discussions early on, my man was one of the most popular Bad Batch characters from their introduction.

So anyway it's time to officially bring Tech back now for a family reunion.

Have I ever mentioned to you guys that I love A.ce A.ttorney? I've been a fan of it for years now! So long that my Thing for Blonds™ hadn't developed yet!

Despite being a fan for so long, I haven't really gone back to revisit the series. Partially because I have so many other series to get into. And another part bc I'm so scared of developing a crush on any of the characters upon a rewatch-

large institutions are just not helpful, they need one on one help with someone who really cares for them.

the straitjacket stays on, the muzzle stays on to avoid biting.

they are safest here, and well taken care of too. they are given nutritious food and exercise, and made to sleep proper hours.

in this way, they can feel loved and cared for and secure, knowing they are chained to my radiator and not able to hurt themself or anyone else.
