The @foofighters LIVE at @thegarden! - Chris, Nate, Pat, and Taylor have been holding down the backbone of what #DaveGrohl conceived for over two decades. The last to be brought on was Chris, I was there for the previous guitar players last show at Giant Stadium opening for the Stones and I was there for Chris’s second show and documented it. Shy young player, we were around the same age, but I had already been shooting since I was a kid, and I could see the amazement in Chris’s eyes, like, “holy shit, I’m playing with Dave Grohl in front of thousands of people!” He nailed it and has grown into a MONSTROUS player. I met Taylor working with Alanis and was in awe of his playing. Could do it all. I met Pat in the #Nirvana days and his #Germs reputation proceeded him. A dirty growl and tone that has yet to be mimicked.
