just saw a mostly good but 4 hours long performance of a midsummer night's dream perched on a little stool in the theatre's rafters while furiously taking notes.

just as the bard intendeddd

#they split puck into two characters and that was an AMAZING choice #the rude mechanicals were also so fucking funny #but they added some monologues that were really unnecessary and slowed the pace too much. could have easily been 3 hours #also i didnt know i'd be in the fucking rafters so i had a skirt on.
