Life Update 2023 summary
First of all, last year was complete shit and it's a torture to remember it again right now but for the sake of this blog well, I'm gonna endure it.
J A N U A R Y
- I got accepted at this BPO company that I've been talking about. I worked there for a month until I got sick and was terminated afterwards. Your girl was unemployed for months.
F E B R U A R Y
- After I recovered from being sick, Gek and I went to Pasacao beach for the first time and spent quality time together.
- Also DJ from high school suddenly hit me up but I just ignored it.
- started my online business, sold some pre-loved clothes and Carbonara. It was fun but really challenging
M A R C H
- Van my best friend went for a trip to Europe for 3 months so Gek, Mak and I had to stay together in one apartment without my dad knowing about it. I had to make up a lot of excuses for my dad cuz he's not gonna approve that I was living with 2 men.
- Holy Week? not sure but we got rat infestation here for the first time and ticks from Boris too.
A P R I L
- I started applying for a job and was scheduled for an interview like 2 jobs reached out to me (ADNU and Jollibee) but I didn't show up cuz I got cold feet. (not sure if this was in april, I might be tripping)
- Can't remember shit from this month
- Also started dieting and fasting this month onwards because of you know...
M A Y
- I got hired for a job!!! I went to work on my first day and I didn't feel like working there so after my lunch break, I didn't go back.
- also this might happen in april? I'm tripping again.
- Damn, the apartment got chaotic and awkward because my bff cheated on her man when she was in Europe and I was kinda involved with the drama. That shit was messy, had to deal with it until the both of them moved out.
J U N E
- my bff went back from Europe and she talked with her man and they were fine again but I was left on red notice still and it hasn't been the same for months to come
- I got a job again at this start up company that my bff and I both applied for but spoiler alert, I didn't last long either
J U L Y
- because... I got bullied in this company and my bff told me I was just overreacting but it was so obvious that these fuckers were coming at me. Long story short I lasted for 2 weeks there but I still got paid. Fuck those assholes and C U R S E T H E M.
- took so long to get my period and I was anxious!!! Didn't do it with Gek or anyone but shit was scary when my period was late. Longest cycle ever and it actually affected my performance when I was still working.
A U G U S T
- just unemployed. I barely remember what happened the month.
- probably stayed home ALL THE TIME.
S E P T E M B E R
- Peñafrancia festival just got sad because I had no friends to spend it with unlike the previous year when I used to ride the Vikings with them, this year just hit different.
- Bff and her man finally moved out so my man and I started living together, just the 2 of us.
- Stressed because how the fuck am I gonna pay the rent and bills in my apartment if I was unemployed? but I got it so I am fucking broke right now as we speak.
- Bf resigned from his job to become a delivery man and his schedule was flexible so we spent a lot of time together.
O C T O B E R
- worst fucking month of the year ever
- got a new job again but I lasted for 2 weeks only because I fucked shit up and this experience was probably the worst fucking one cuz literally it broke the remaining spirit I had and paralyzed me to go back in the field again.
- Don't wanna talk about it anymore just FUCK. THIS. MONTH.
N O V E M B E R
- 24th birthday?!?!?! wtf I am old and unemployed again
- still recovering from that hell of experience 💀
- also fuck everyone in that workplace especially Mae Ann fucking fat bitch and Jo soggy tits cunt 🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕
D E C E M B E R
- Sad Christmas but I bought a round cake and it was the best decision I made the entire year.
- the remaining days of the year were blank and sad and boring. Barely even remember shit
- lol I went shopping for my self-care thing as a gift for myself this Christmas cuz I've had enough bullshit for the entire fucking year.
- and I also binge-watched HxH the entire month on Muse Asia because it was playing on loop so I guess it was a good end of this awful year.
Glad that was over.
That's it. That was my entire year. I got severely sick at the beginning of the year, got unemployed a number of times, got caught up in a drama, relationship with my friends isn't the same anymore, traumatized as fuck and still here. Fuck 2023 and some of the people I met this year. Officially the worst year of my life.
Damn, who would have thought that 2023 was gonna be hell for me? at least the previous year was sort of okay but 2023? NOPE.

Pilipinas Shell Foundation Celebrates Milestone in Addressing Malnutrition
Tumblr media
Empowering Local Communities to Combat Malnutrition
In a groundbreaking move to tackle the pressing issue of malnutrition, Pilipinas Shell Foundation, Inc. (PSFI), the social arm of Shell companies in the Philippines, celebrated the successful culmination of its transformative Roots to Shoots (RTS) Program. The program's primary aim was to promote better nutrition and well-being in communities, and now it has reached a pivotal moment, as PSFI hands over the reins to the local government units (LGUs) of Bombon and Pasacao in Camarines Sur, ensuring its long-term sustainability.
A Ceremony of Collective Commitment
The air was filled with excitement and hope as representatives from PSFI, program partners Manila Water Foundation (MWF), World Vision Development Foundation (WVDF), LGUs, and community members gathered for a momentous handover ceremony. This event not only marked the successful completion of the program's implementation phase but also symbolized a transition into a new phase of sustainability. It was a powerful testament to the combined efforts and dedication of all stakeholders involved.   Chairman Cesar A. Buenaventura's Reflections Chairman Cesar A. Buenaventura expressed pride in the impact of the program on agriculture and food security in Shell Philippines. "Our training farm has benefitted many farmers. Together, we have successfully reduced malnutrition and improved sanitation and health, with very tangible results," he stated. As the program takes a significant step towards community ownership, Buenaventura extended heartfelt wishes to the local stakeholders, encouraging them to build upon the foundation they had collectively laid.   Empowering Local Communities The handover ceremony served as an opportunity to honor the invaluable contributions of the LGUs and Barangay Local Government Units (BLGUs), who played an instrumental role in the success of the RTS program. These local stakeholders were presented with plaques of appreciation for their unwavering support. Following the recognition, a momentous signing took place, as the RTS program implementers and the LGUs formalized their commitment through a deed of donation. This symbolic act solidified their dedication to the program's continuity and sustainability. In a true spirit of collaboration, PSFI and its partners also expressed their commitment to expanding the program to more provinces in need of nutritional support and introducing additional partners to bolster its impact.   A Holistic Approach to Nutrition and Well-being Maria Pamela S. Castro, Senior Program Manager for Nutrition and Food Security at PSFI, emphasized the comprehensive approach taken by the RTS program. She highlighted its recognition of the multifaceted nature of the challenges and the implementation of integrated solutions to address them effectively. Raiza V. Cusi, Senior Technical Program Manager at PSFI, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the critical role of collective action and shared responsibility for sustainable development. The program's success is a result of fruitful collaborations with government bodies, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), academic institutions, and local communities, harnessing diverse expertise and resources for a comprehensive and impactful solution.   Partner Testimonials Rommel V. Fuerte, National Director of the World Vision Development Foundation, commended the program's holistic approach, particularly in addressing mother-child issues, food security, water access, and sanitation. He praised the model as one that can be replicated in other areas, describing it as a powerhouse of positive change. Reginald M. Andal, Executive Director of the Manila Water Foundation, emphasized the crucial role of water access, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) in combating malnutrition. He stressed that WASH facilities play a critical role in driving desired behaviors, further strengthening the program's impact.
Achieving Success for Communities
Over the course of three years, the RTS program's Mother and Child Care Component achieved remarkable success, reducing stunting rates in children in Bombon and Pasacao in Camarines Sur from 32.90% to 25.45% and 31.90% to 21.33%, respectively. These municipalities had previously faced high rates of stunting in the Bicol region, with 20% of children under 5 years old affected. Additionally, the program's Food Security and Livelihood Component yielded significant achievements, promoting increased food availability and economic access for mothers, caregivers, and farmers. Local barangays witnessed enhanced food production, while farmer organizations created employment opportunities in both in-farm and off-farm enterprises, bolstering sustainable livelihoods. The program's WASH component made remarkable strides in improving access to WASH services, with the construction of water systems, sanitation facilities, and comprehensive hygiene training for community members. As a result, sanitation conditions for families with undernourished children significantly improved, making a tangible impact on overall health and well-being.
Pilipinas Shell Foundation's Commitment to Positive Change
Pilipinas Shell Foundation's dedication to social progress extends beyond the RTS program. Active engagement with prominent initiatives such as the National Nutrition Council's Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition (PPAN) and Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) global movement reflects the foundation's unyielding commitment to addressing critical social issues and fostering positive change within communities. As the RTS program enters its sustainability phase under the stewardship of local stakeholders, it will continue to be a beacon of hope, providing essential support in the journey towards healthier, resilient, and prosperous communities across the Philippines.   Sources: THX News & Shell.                                              PASACAO ESCAPADE
                                                      By: FLORS,FV
April 21 2019 when I was visit ‘’Pasacao beach resort’’ and I would have to say it is the most beautiful beach that I’ve ever been on. It’ s on Pasacao, Camaines Sur of the Bicol province.
Tumblr media
I felt like I had entered a dreamy paradise when I first caught sight of its clear blue water.
Tumblr media
The sand at Pasacao beach was not fine instead it is composed of soft pebbles and small pieces of limestone, that make you feel tranquil when you lay down.
Tumblr media
there’s a small Hill called ‘’Daruanak’ you can also hike to, although I didn’t. At my back the hill that you see is the Daruanak.
Tumblr media
I stayed in a cheap cottage right on the beach and watch the sunrise come up. This is the perfect paradise beach that you dream about, I have never seen spectacular sunrise in my life so I take some picture.
I hope that I inspire you to go some place new and some place different and to discover some unusual places on your own like Pasacao beach resort, I  guarantee that you will enjoy you vacation.
Thank you very much for reading
I love y’all

Spotted another Plaza Rizal. Is it just me or almost all municipalities in CamSur has one? Either way, Pasacao is one of those municipalities that has a beautiful Plaza Rizal dedicated to honor our national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal.
Looking back, our childhood is a witness of how Pasacao was once the Summer Capital of CamSur before Caramoan was explored and promoted for tourism.

MY TRAVELED BLOG
When I was a 18 years old, I used to go wandering around and where beaches come with my friends and the unforgettable day was the last day we would be together in the Caramoan. We spent together in one whole day. Before we come up with Caramoan, we spent more together in the house of my friend and cooking for ready of the meal and computing the expenses. After we cooked and computing the expenses, we rent a Multicab and go to the pasacao to get a boat to travel in the caramoan. And finally we reached our destination. when i see the clouds, rocks, sand and clean water i was so refresh, because the Beauty of the ocean, the ocean are so clean that have a color of blue and dark blue if it is a deep one, the rock are so big that you can climb in to the top, and the sands  are white and very thin that if you touches it feel so refreshing.  i am Speechless! i dont know what to say about it, all i can say is. woaahhhhhh or wow! that’s what i am feeling. we bring all the things in the cottage and have some fun. Thank you! take your time reading this. :) :P <3

Back on 2016 my brother invited me to join him on island hopping on masbate, at first I hesitated to join because that is the plan for the teachers and I feel like I'm just out of place but my brother insisted to bring me with him so I have no choice but to obey. The trip started on Pasacao port, we waited untill I think 8:30 am just to have everyone on board, after that we've traveled around 2 to 3 hours to reach the first island Animasola the beach is so clean with white sand and the water is crystal clear unfortunately we only lasted there for 30 mins to take pichures, after that we reached sumbrero island and unload our things and have a lunch after resting a bit we go to another island wich is snake island that is close to sumbero island we swim there and then take pichures after an hour we decided to go back in sumbrero because its going to get dark. After reaching sumbrero island again I swim and niticed that the scenery in sumbrero island in sunset is verry amazing and sands are so white and water is verry clear. After I rinse we eat dinner and noticed that in that island bottled dringking water, cup noodles and other foods are expensive maybe because its too far from town market and the travel of goods is completely by sea and may encounter shortages because of weather. After eating we assemble the tent with my brother and sister and sleep. Early in the morning I wake up just to see the beauty of the sunrise with chilling atmosphere and sound of waves, then my siblings call me to have breakfast. The plan this day is to go on Tinalisayan island that is a little far from sumbrero afterreacing the said island I've been struck by its beauty that there are lots of corals and white beach that when high tide it can not be seen, only shows in low tide we swim there and enjoy untill 1:00 pm that they decided to go back to sumbrero island to pack our things and go home. uppon the way back we see another island and then decided to stop over in earnest point, there are kids that are jumping that is why they attracted us and also start to jump there me and my sister is the first one to jump because others are scared of the height of it but not us because we grow up on coastal area also, after that short break they decided to finally go home and I fell asleep along the way, just to wake up on pasacao. Its a verry tiring 2 days of my life but I enjoyed every minutes of it. Thats all..
