Favorite Moment from Writing this Morning: Getting the chapter I was working on done. Finding questions I need to answer. Being a total nerd and adding in another nod to Sharpe's Rifles. And now for the chapter filled with pain. :-)
Favorite Line Crafted:
“It’s only a curse if you use it like one.” Adam held his gaze, piercing Parth like all that had passed through his mind about honor Adam read written across his soul in neon lettering. There was judgment there in Adam’s eyes, but not condemnation, not rejection. The desire to have Adam’s approval, to have his gaze filled with commendation, welled up in Parth. The zephyr twisted about in agreement. Adam nodded and stepped back.
@alana-k-asby Also, I think I may have finally settled on what my particular rouge and scoundrel, Parth Hartley, looks like. Parth would have a bit more gray at the temples, but I feel like Zach McGowan could handle Parth at his slouching irresponsibility and at his brass-knuckle violence. @sheppardsmckay I think you'll approve.

Favorite Moment from Writing this Morning: editing some things at the start of the story that are no longer accurate. I love feeling all the things slip into place as I fix things.
Favorite Line Crafted: If only she knew. This was not his first foolish life choice or even his fifth. In fact, his modus operandi was foolish life choices. Put that in your cup, Toppy, and drink it.
@alana-k-asby I do so much love Parth even from the beginning when he is such an idiot. lololol

Favorite Moment from Writing this Morning: Oddly, I've had a good time designing some annoying bureaucracy for our world. It's been cathartic in a way and a bit funny.
Favorite Line Crafted: The bureaucratic woman dumped the sealed box with his blood and the paperwork into a large plastic bag, which was also labeled and sealed with the microphone. She stuffed Parth’s copy into his hand with the other papers and fiddled with the stained glass date-stamp. Once again, she took Parth’s hand and tattooed it. Beneath the first set of numbers, 42 inked in. Parth coughed out a laugh that fell flat around him.
Who can pass up a 42 joke? I didn't even plan it. But as soon as I saw the opportunity, I had to keep it.
@alana-k-asby I added in even more bureaucratic red tape for Parth this morning, poor boy. The good thing? I don't think he's actually going to do any of the things he's been told to do.

Favorite Moment from Writing this Morning: Realizing the scene I'm working on needed a better sense of space. I tend to struggle with the overall space in action scenes.
Favorite Line Crafted: Curtains shifted in the windows, curtains that hadn’t moved at all when Parth took on the three attackers as if that was a common occurrence, shifted after Adam’s name had been called out. Eyes peered out of windows, passersby halted, staring. The sensation of stepping into something he didn’t understand, something far beyond him, rippled through Parth.
@alana-k-asby Meeting Adam!!! :-)

Every character needs to start out as something, might as well be an idiot.
