I made a compass for games where you play as Dads! Responsibility is for how responsible are they for the plot or end of the game, effect is how much changed due to their actions.

Explanations /descriptions below.

Top left is Joel Miller from The Last of Us. The end of the game and the events of 2 can be tied to his actions, but it's unclear how much over all changed due to his actions.

Top right is Kratos from God of War (2018). He's destroyed two pantheon so high effects. Baldur did pick a fight with him to kick off Norse stuff, but many actions before and after that are due to his choices.

Bottom left is Kiryu from Yakuza. I'll admit I'm not super sold, but it's low responsibility as he keeps trying to retire but stuff happens and low effects as the plots mostly revolve around Japanese criminal politics.

Bottom right is Dad!NieR. He was mostly tricked or goaded into his actions (you find out towards the end of the game how the entire society was set up mostly just for the plot to happen, though parts got away from everyone.) But it also cements the destruction of basically every sapient being so... high effects.

I seem to have encountered another Papa Nier enjoyer at my workplace, so that was neat. OwO

So apparently Nier had promotional comics?

From what I gathered, only 3 issues were published, and the Canon is questionable at best. The art is pretty though. Pretty obvious that they were given limited info on what the game was about since the setting is off and the shades look more like an amalgamation of robots and fantasy monsters rather than the ethereal blobs they are in-game.
