I just wanted to do some Tenken art based of my favorite song since I feel it’s so fitting. Hope my vision came through tho. Tengen and Kenjaku was suppose to look at the child version on each other, remembering what once was, with different feelings about it probably. But I couldn’t figure out how to make it look right so I split them up in paintings instead lol.

There are a lot of metaphors and symbolism in this too ofc. My fav thing.

Blood running into my eyes.

It’s the production that makes it but since I heard it I’ve never been able to get these lyrics out of my mind.

Ecco io...ho sempre pensato che fosse questo l' amore. Come quella frase ne "Il corvo" (film cult per me e per altri milioni di adolescenti dell' epoca) "Madre è l'altro nome di Dio sulle labbra e nei cuori dei nostri figli", la persona amata è sempre stata per me oggetto di venerazione e profonda devozione. Questo in alcuni periodi della mia vita (devo ammettere quelli in cui mi sentivo più persa) mi ha causato non pochi problemi e una buona dose di confusione, perché non c'è nulla di più facile del trovare chi approfitti del tuo smarrimento. E ancora oggi non sono convinta che sia facile che una persona riesca a comprendere pienamente e ad accettare un simile modo di amare, giusto o sbagliato che sia, ma è una parte così profondamente costitutiva dell' essere che per me è impensabile chiedere a qualcuno di cambiare il proprio modo di farlo (tranne che non sia chiaramente lesivo e in quanto tale sbagliato). Il punto, lo sostengo da diverso tempo, non è soltanto amare una persona, ma amarla in un modo che sia in grado di comprendere e accettare, amarla nel modo in cui ha bisogno di essere amata, amarla in un modo che la renda più libera, leggera, più felice, più autenticamente se stessa. Perché in fondo amarsi vuol dire partire insieme per il viaggio alla scoperta di se stessi e dell' altro nel suo e nel proprio più autentico modo di essere. Senza vergogna, senza pudore e il più possibile senza paure.
