Yeah even Daemon is seen slightly better in the eyes of the public than his wild younger cousin, a surprise.

Nobody knew anything about her love life after that, though paparazzi and gossip hounds tried to get any details they could. Especially as time went on and her kids grew a few years older, and she returned to the limelight, working in other businesses as well now. She still avoids social media for a while. Most glimpses of her personal life are seen through posts by her family or friends in the business. CW for movie: human trafficking, rape, sexual abuse of a minor, some gore. Raat Akeli Hai is a good whodunnit that gives us a satisfying ending, while also being a love story. I enjoyed Jatil and Radha’s interactions, but I loved the performances of Shivani Raghuvanshi and Padmavati Rao as the combative Vasudha (Raghubeer’s niece) and the reprehensible Pramila Singh (Raghubeer’s sister-in-law) respectively. Ila Arun was also good as Jatil’s mother who wants him to get married. Favorite song is Ghoom Charkhya (no subtitles).

Kaajal (Bhumi Pednekar) moves out from her cousin Dolly’s (Konkona Sen Sharma) place when Dolly’s husband Amit (Aamir Bashir) makes a move on her and leaves her hated factory job. To make ends meet, she starts working at an adult call center as Kitty and begins an affair with “Pradeep” (Vikrat Massey), one of her callers. Meanwhile, Dolly deals with trying to make ends meet for her and Amit’s new luxury apartment that under construction and with the backlash against her son Pappu (Kalp Shah) liking girly things.

CW: corporal punishment. Dolly Kitty aur woh Chamakte Sitare is a good film about two cousins and their lives. It does a good job talking about women experiencing sex and desire without punishing them for it. It also doesn’t shy away from showing the realities of the society they live in, but doesn’t make those realities disheartening. A great example of this is the call center and how all the women there support each other. Favorite songs are Neet Ve and Khwabida (audio only). Neither song has subtitles.

Akash (Aditya Roy Kapur) goes to local crime lord Sattu Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi) to help take down a sex video made of him and his ex-girlfriend Shruti (Sanya Malhotra) without their knowledge. Meanwhile, Aalu (Rajkummar Rao) tries to help the woman he loves, Pinky (Fatima Sana Shaikh), when she comes to him to help get her husband out of jail for being prime suspect in a murder Sattu Bhaiya committed. After being released from prison, Bittu (Abhishek Bachchan), Sattu Bhaiya’s former second in command, meets Mini (Inayat Verma) who has run away from home and agrees with her plan to pretend to kidnap her to get her parents’ attention. Rahul (Rohit Saraf), after being taken by Sattu Bhaiya for being near the murder, manages to get Sattu Bhaiya’s money with the help of nurse Sheeja (Pearle Maaney), but Sattu Bhaiya sends his goons after them to get his money back.

Ludo is an entertaining dark comedy that is structurally based on the board game ludo (more recognizable to Americans as Parcheesi). It was quite entertaining and funny, while also being heartwarming. I loved Bittu and Mini’s story because of how cute it was, especially when Mini prompts Bittu on how to make ransom calls to her parents. Overall, a fun romp. Favorite songs are Qismat Ki Hawa Kabhi Naram (originally from Albela), Aarbaad Barbaad, and Meri Tum Ho. None of the songs have subtitles.

The Bombay High Court has suspended the life sentence of gangster Chhota Rajan, who was convicted in connection with the murder of hotelier Jaya Shetty in Mumbai in 2001. A division bench, comprising Justices Revati Mohite Dere and Prithviraj Chavan, granted bail to Rajan, contingent upon him furnishing a bond of ₹1 lakh. However, he will remain in jail due to other pending cases.

Srinivasa Mangapuram History

Srinivasa Mangapuram is a small village located in the Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, India. It is famous for its Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple, which is a highly revered shrine for Lord Venkateswara, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu.According to the legend, the temple was constructed during the rule of the Vijayanagara Empire in the 14th century.

It is believed that Lord Venkateswara came to the temple after marrying his consort, Sri Padmavathi Devi, in Narayanavanam, which is about 12 kilometers away from Srinivasa Mangapuram.The temple has undergone several renovations and reconstructions over the years, with the most significant one being carried out by the famous Vaishnavite saint, Sri Ramanujacharya, during the 12th century.

The temple attracts a large number of devotees, especially during the annual Brahmotsavam festival, which is celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion. During this festival, the temple is decorated with colorful lights, and various religious rituals and cultural programs are organized.

Apart from the temple, Srinivasa Mangapuram is also known for its scenic beauty, with lush greenery and rolling hills surrounding the village. The village is also famous for its traditional handicrafts, including pottery, weaving, and embroidery.

The story goes that after Lord Venkateswara’s wedding to Padmavathi, the daughter of King Akasa Raja, He set off to go to Tirumala. But enroute, the Lord and his divine consort, stayed over at his new mother-in-law’s home.

Since He stayed in Srinivasa Mangapuram History, the village came to be called as Srinivasa Mangapuram. As He was leaving, Venkateswara stopped by to visit Sage Agasthya at his hermitage nearby. Agasthya blessed the newlyweds and then told them that there was a saying that newlyweds must not climb any hills for the first six months.

He invited Venkateswara and Padmavati to stay with him for that period of time. The newlyweds decided to accept Agastya’s humble invitation and stayed at the ashram for the next six months.

After six months were over, Lord Venkateswara and Padmavati were ready to return to Tirumala. But before leaving the ashram, Venkateswara made two promises. One, was a for people who, due to some disability, would not be able to climb the hill and take His darshan at Tirumala, they could visit this temple at the base of the hill.

The second was for people getting ready to enter grihastashrama (i.e. get married). Venkateswara promised that those who witnessed the Kalyanotsavam at Tirumala will always get a good spouse. With this boon, Venkateswara Swamy became known as Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy.

The idol of Lord Venkateswara in Mangapuram temple is taller than the one at Tirumala, and is said to be more attractive. It is said that Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy here is a mirror image of Sri Venkateswara in Tirumala.
