#PPG Butch

Experimenting with my PPG and RRB designs.

IDK how i feel about these design changes, On one hand i think it works better & is closer to the canonical PPG designs, but on the other hand i also dont entirely know if i love it, bc i actually like drawing hands & i think some of them look wonky without ears..

If anyone has a preference or any opinions about my PPG/RRB designs LMK!! It'd be super helpful to get an outside opinion about this...

Hi again! Umm... I have 2 questions:

1- How many layer do you use when your drawing in procreate? Cuz they look like they're all in one layer, just asking.

2- Could you draw some Boomer and Bubbles bonding time and Butch being jealous?

I use exactly TWO LAYERS one for outline and second for color! It varies depending on what’s happening but two is my usual layers (I merge them sometimes)

(Poor boomer actually has no idea what’s happening, he just thinks Butch is mad at him for letting Bubbles into the house)

Okay while PowerPuff girls is trending I need to get something off my chest that always bothered me:

WHY ISN'T BUTCH MORE FEMININE!?

Like, if they're meant to be the genderbent version of the PPG and Buttercup is a tomboy, how come Butch didn't act a little feminine and show interest in more traditionally girly things? They have him that little ponytail triangle but that's about it. Like I get they're villains and they honestly don't have super deep personalities to begin with, but has just always bothered me. Maybe bc little girls being tomboys was more socially acceptable back then than boys doing girly things (what's telling is I can't think of a name for it that isn't derogatory).

While the last few PPG reboot attempts have been kind of a bust, I think a teen reboot might be nice like PPGZ and bring back the boys with some distinct character traits. But that's a convo for another day.
