You might have answered this before, but how did you get into Yugioh or better a favorite Yugioh Memory from either the anime, video games, or card games?

I remember Yugioh ending up on the saturday morning line up on Kids WB. I live in the united states, so my first exposure to it was from the dub by 4Kidz. I got into it pretty quickly, because I won't lie:

my 12 year old self thought Yami was the hottest character they've ever seen kdfgmghfgkmh

I started doing tournaments at that age! I guess my favorite memory would be getting to second place in a big tournament. My mother collected the cards alongside me while I was playing, so I had access to all of the current meta (of that time, like 2011-ish?) Walked away with a check and some booster boxes. (My parents insist the money I won went to the college fund, but idk if that's even true lmao)
