when i get questions like this I start sweating because im unsure of how to answer them in a way that's constructive and can help you in your own art journey, but damn i'll try 😅

as a disclaimer im gonna add that this is how i approach lean bodies, there are several different body types and they are all wonderful and beautiful. I suggest the morpho books for more in depth studies!

to explain what i've highlighted are the more conscious decisions I make while working on drawing a figure. The left example is typically considered more "masculine" (straight lines, fewer curves, "straight" shoulders, etc)

My personal touch is on the right for masculine figures. I prefer softer lines, wider hips, thicker thighs, typically considered "effeminate". Depending on who I'm drawing I tend to interchange these decisions.

Again this is just how i approach art personally. I'm sorry I can't give you anything more meaningful. 😓😓😓
