#PP: Max Flexor

I love sims having friends and family call them. Cruella catches up with her older sister Calypso (who I now realise has the same hairstyle I gave Julia, oops) while Sam chats sports with her university pal, Max Flexor.

Xander also gets frequent calls from his BFF, Jess Smith. It’s a little funny to me she is always calling and asking for Xander, never her poor younger sister Julia xD

Lilith still wants to be best friends with Heather, so she invites her over to hang out along with the neighbours.

Lilith: You know Roxie, and this is Jimmy, Max and Jonah. 

Heather: Right! I know Jimmy from college, and I think I recognise Jonah from Tinder?

Max: Hey, guys, can you please keep it down? Me and Max are trying to get some shut eye. Do your weird sex parties in the daytime.

Jonah: But our friends are vampires :(

When she gets home, her cousin Lucy is on the phone. They’ve always gotten along well, but the phonecall solidifies their status as best friends!

Skylar joins the family the next day! She’s quite the cutie.

Always cute, watching the neighbours hang out.

Ripp: I wish we had a bit more communal space here! Since we’re basically all pals it’s a shame we don’t have anywhere other than the yard to all hang out.

Max: Yeah, a gym or sometihng would be cool. Maybe a pool.

Ripp: Hell yeah, a pool! With a water slide?? And, hear me out: a hot tub! Maybe I’ll contact the landlord about getting one installed, there’s totally room out here.

Max: Haha, good luck with that.

Next up: Mitch Indie and Max Flexor. Formally the Friends household, now known as the Indieflex household! They’ve been engaged since college but aren’t really rushing to tie the knot just yet - first they want to get settled into their adult lives.

It’s a chill time. Heather definitely likes what she sees, but it’s hard to get a look in when Jonah’s so focused on Roxie.

Meanwhile, Lilith gets a call from David Ottomas. They have barely hung out in person (I couldn’t find a single post of them interacting, lol) but at some point became best friends. Maybe they hang out on the same music forums or something?

And that’s all from the Indie-Flexor household! Another short one, but I’m happy to be getting back into the swing of playing again. We’re over halfway through Downtown, now!

Cleo needs a chrisma point for work, so I sent her to the festival at Sim Center North to practice some vocals.

A couple more promotions for the guys! They’re settling into adult life pretty well, maybe they’ll be able to have that wedding and start the family they want sooner rather than later :)

Roxie and Jonah are some of their other neighbours. Max is pretty friendly with him, but when he visits they’re more interested in each other than him, haha.

Cooking isn’t the only thing he’s good at - when Mitch’s synth breaks down it’s Max who has a go at repairing it. No sense in paying some so-called expert to come and take a look when it might be an easy fix, right? Turns out to just be a blown fuse.

Max: So. Babe. What do you think about us getting a friend for Regina?

Mitch: What, another bird? We’d need a bigger cage, or-

Max: I was thinking more along the lines of a puppy!

Mitch: I dunno, Max. Dogs need a lot of excercise, and our place is pretty small...

Max: I could take her out for runs with me every morning! C’mon, dude. I really want us to be dog dads.

Mitch: What about maybe adopting an older dog? So we can at least make sure they’re chill, and don’t have to worry quite so much about training.

Max: Deal! I love you, bro.
