LIVE IN LOVE (2024, THAILAND)
Episode 2 of 5
This mini series tells the story of Kla and Cake. They are crushing on one another and have finally made their way to one another after live chats and phone conversations but...
A side couple is stealing their thunder and that side couple is friend to lovers Poon (NAPAT SRINAKLUAN aka BOAT) and Gam (TANAWAT HUDCHALEELAHA aka TIGER)
First Gam confessed his feelings for Poon to their friends Cake and Tim believing he didn't have chance and that Poon liked girls after spying a text from a female to Poon's phone.
But Poon after a jealous rant later confesses to Gam asking that they not be friends as his feelings surpasses friendship. Pooh follows this with a kiss (and shirt removal) of which Gam hungrily accepts. Friends no more...Lovers instead.

I do love the fact that they addressed this and then just instantly dismissed it because it shouldn't matter and because Poon is happy with his life and his love for Gam is more important. Appreciate it, honestly.

Live in Love was one of my most anticipated series for 2024 solely because I knew it would not disappoint me in the colors department,
And now that I have the trailer, it's obvious I'm getting color-coded boys in love!
Kla is a distant and cold Blue Boy (who seems to have isolated due to a sickness?).
His two buddies, Poon and Gam, are an Orange Oddity and a Green(ish) Guy.
(They will have their own messy friends-to-lovers plot.)
Cake is a cute and caring Pink Person.
And he meets Poon online.
They hit it off in the virtual space.
(like really really well)
And even though they want to make this work IRL,
There is a Red Rascal in the way!
Af seems like he is gonna live up to being a Red Flag.
But with the help of Kla's other color-coded buddies,
And hopefully a GL side couple(!)
These two color-coded boys will find love IRL!
Well, all the color-coded boys will hopefully find love!
Either way, I'll be here for the colors . . . and the love!
Coming next month!
#live in love#live in love the series#color coded boys in love#the colors mean things#I don't even care about the plot because I was watching either way#but it actually looks enjoyable!#I'm excited#and my greedy self always loves getting more colors

THE PROCESS OF MAKING AMULETS THAT CONTAIN HUMAN REMAINS
The amulets that contain human remains blended with sacred herb, holy powder and mystical minerals is known as “Pong Prai Kumarn Maha Phood”, the Guru Monks who have ability to make this type of Holy Powder must have “wí-chaa aa-kom” a high knowledge of magical spells and mind power to control spirits that come with human remains and those sacred herb, NOT every monk could make Pong Prai Kumarn Maha Phood.
The Guru Monk who made this type of amulet had to perform ritual ceremonies to turn / ordain ghosts (spirits) of the dead to “monks”, in Thai called “Buet Phee”. The ghosts (spirits) will not do any harm to the amulet wearers. Those spirits will only do good things and help the amulet wearers for their own merit. Those spirits would live in the amulets, and would not leave the amulets until their karma end, and circles of lives on earth start again, and each day in spirit world is equal to 100 ordinary solar years of our planet.
………………………………………
*This amulet contains human remains. Not suitable for people who have Spectrophobia (the fear of ghosts). People who have Spectrophobia cannot control themselves while experiencing ghosts, they might have sudden cardiac death or cause harm to themselves from temporary loss of consciousness.
………………………………………

This type of amulet was first discovered at Wat Pra Roop Archaeology Site, Suphanburi Province. Levidromes
A levidrome is a word that when spelled backwards makes another word. Well, at least not yet. It is not in the Oxford English Dictionary. Levi Budd is a six-year-old boy from British Columbia in Canada who has coined the term 'levidrome' after spotting that the word 'STOP' spells 'POTS' backwards. After realising that there is no such word in English for this phenomena, a social media campaign has started to get this word in popular usage (hence this post). I wrote a short Python script this morning that will pull all of the levidromes from a dictionary file. The full list is copied below.

It is interesting to note that some levidromes are also palindromes. I wonder whether we need a new word to describe this phenomenon also? Furthermore, there is no word in English for "a word that you make up in order to make another word make sense". I suggest: "emordivel" ?

Earthquake: The Chinatown Story
The 1906 Earthquake devastated San Francisco. Lives, homes, businesses, and so much more were lost forever in a matter of minutes- seconds even. What had been a huge and instant loss for members of the Chinatown community, could have remained irrevocable had it not been for the boldness and intellect of leaders like editor Ng Poon Chew, Pastor Gee Gam, and the merchant Tong Bong.
Before the earthquake, whites had already pushed for the removal of Chinatown for the sake of more white-friendly commercial and residential expansion. The Chinatown area had originally been a shanty town "that few white persons would occupy free of charge" according to a 1906 version of the Oakland Enquirer, published April 23rd (at the top of the post) . But when the Chinese people living in the area became successful from work in trade and manufacturing, they started to buy real estate and invest within their community. Their mercantile and economic involvement made Chinatown a desirable plot of land within the city, as well as a perceived threat by white officials. Chinese American citizens were well aware of these tensions, and to some extent, prepared to combat them.
After the earthquake struck, there was a struggle for the rights to Chinatown. Ng Poon Chew, the editor of the only remaining Chinese Newspaper was quick to react. He urged other Chinese people to:
1. Hire famous lawyers that would protect and publicize their interests. 2. Take control of their rights as land and building owners. (Landowners were able to build on their property at anytime without alerting officials. He encouraged all property owners to rebuild without delay or intervention, because white officials would thwart their plans.) 3. Work with white landlords to remain in Chinatown.
Others took up the charge to fight back as well. Pastor Gam rallied the Chinese American community from his pulpit in Berkeley. He warned adversaries that the "Chinese are wide awake today." They would not stand idly by, but take advantage of their positions as laborers, landlords, business owners, and gatekeepers to one of America's largest trading partners- China. Tong Bong, one of the prominent businessmen of Chinatown, did not wait to take advantage of his position and success. He, along with other prominent Chinatown businessmen, drafted the plan for a fantasized Chinatown. His vision was to create a whimsical oriental city within San Francisco. It would become an economic, cultural, and tourist force for the city, and a pillar for the Chinese community.
After it's erection, it became the first of many Chinatown's in the United States that would follow their model of fantasy and community. San Francisco's Chinatown remains one of the city's top attractions for cuisine, architecture, history, shopping, and culture, while remaining heavily populated by Chinese immigrants. It's truly one of the San Fracisco’s best comeback stories, which you can learn about online at: chsa.org

No wonder Gam feels so used. Poon doesn't even mean it because he is the most oblivious self-centered young man ever and he's hurting his friend and he has no idea but he also has no idea how he feels about his friend in the first place and that makes it even more painful.
Poon is walking this weird line of getting all the parts of a relationship with Gam while not having to reflect on how he feels in reality because he can just pretend it's an act for the camera but he's definitely more than a bit in love but doesn't examine that at all and so doesn't even think about it. While Gam is in love, knows he's in love, and is struggling with feeling used and ignored.
Tiny heartbroken Gam is just taking me out. He's so tiny and so sad and I just want to hug him like there's no tomorrow and save him from everything. He's trying to maintain this friendship while feeling used and rejected and trying to let ho of his feelings while Poon is painfully oblivious to his own feelings but still jealous and pushing at him constantly.

Tiny sad Gam. Poor boy. He deserves lots of love.
Seriously. This boy. My tiny boy. It's one thing to use shipping culture to your advantage and it's another to use other people for your advantage.
But also this is why we talk to people. seriously and sincerely. Poon and Gam are on very different pages about their relationship and friendship and need to talk.
Supportive friendship!

Just the saddest way to entire a live. Gam is so tiny and so sad and I want to hug him more. He's just such a sweetie
And then when he turned around? And the serious little face and the pain that he tried to hide?
The sad little look away broke my heart.
Tiny baby. Tiny baby.
But at least Poon finally manages to express himself and his feelings even if Gam can't trust him yet because he knows that Poon struggles with his own feelings.

I really like their shirts, okay? I love just about everything Gam wears and this shirt paired with the dino shirt on Poon is perfect.
But I also desperately want this jacket. I love it so much. The color! It's so bright! And patterned all over! I love it.
