In this AU, Turbo takes over one of the only remaining Polybius cabinets in circulation, instead of Sugar Rush. The CIA was supposed to have taken them all out of circulation by the mid 80's, but some miscommunication between parties led to one cabinet being kept at Litwak's. Said cabinet is the one that Turbo decided to take over.

Eventually, the CIA took this cabinet back to collect the remaining data from the experiment. To their horror, they encounter a seemingly sentient and malicious being inside the game. They keep this cabinet in storage, now trying to collect as much information as they can about the being as possible.

Turbo's code was still a little vulnerable after the Roadblasters incident. After living in Polybius for a while, some of its code assimilated into his. He's grown slightly more unstable, both physically and mentally, but he's still the same power hungry little shit we all know and love.

She’s kinda creepy, smells like an old dusty arcade that’s definitely had Pepsi spilled its carpets. Her chassis is dark with spiraling graphics in bright colors lining her casing like tattoos almost. Her clothes are dingy jackets from the nineties, maybe with jean shorts. Whenever you look into her screen and meet her digital eyes, it almost feels like you’re falling… Deeper and deeper… You feel like you lost some time somewhere along the way… When did you end up in her house? You almost start to stress out, but a quick shock makes you feel all better!!

After the roadblasters incident, turbo decided that attempting to take over a racing game would be too obvious. He needed the eyes back on him, but didn't want to risk unplugging anymore games. Instead of sugar rush, he decided to take over Polybius. by the mid to late 80s, Polybius was already supposed to be phased out. the government was furious that one cabinet had managed to stay in circulation for so long. once they got to Litwak's Arcade, they discovered an anomaly in the program that was like no other cabinet of Polybius: a being inside the machine. a boss level that was in no other copy of the game. it was seemingly alive, sentient, mocking those who lost. it adored the attention it got, lines upon lines of children rushing to play, unable to take their eyes off the screen. brutal fights broke out over the game. turbo thought this was brilliant. he didn't know (at first) or care about the games psychoactive and addictive properties, the fact this game was all an MK Ultra experiment. all he cared about was the attention he was getting. The more he lived within the game, the more... nefarious effects of Polybius become intertwined within his code. No one even questioned why or how this character was in the game all of a sudden. Barely anyone even got far enough in Polybius before he was a part of it. eventually, the 90s roll around, and the government came to Litwak's and repossessed the cabinet. now the CIA has this one specific Polybius cabinet in top secret storage. day in and day out they attempt to communicate with the anomaly, which is now festering with hate. the attention was taken from him once again, now living a life constantly under the magnifying glass by these higher beings. and this time he's not going to let any of them get away with it.

Did you read the article I put between the important above and important below in the pinned post? Yes... I feel like Dipper and Mabel; Just like they had to leave Gravity Falls when the summer ended, I'm also going to stop being online when the summer ends. Yes, that's true. Day 7: Polybius

I wasn’t around to see this game in action. But I imagine I wouldn’t last long with it with my light sensitivity. I hear a lot of arcade goers got sick from playing Polybius.

Polygrigus, very obviously based on POLYBIUS don't think that needs to be explained. The "distraction" effect is a new one, works like infatuation but doesn't rely on gender and has a higher chance to be distracted compared to being immobilized by love. Every move that got the ability effect also has every move, regardless if it's special or sound or dance or whatever, will now become a contact and replace what it previously was.(that means throat spray won't work on what used to be sound based moves)

It also has a signature move! Confining Wires, a special 65 bp ghost type move that deals contact damage . Its a trapping move, the main difference being it doesn't get countered by moves like u-turn. It's also kind of dual electric type? It hits electric & water pokemom for super effective but ground resists instead of being straight up immune.

also. don't really wanna get into it's full move set it would take a REALLY long time but this thing would learn

-all terrains

-all weathers

-all field(non hazard) effects like trick room or gravity

it DOESN'T learn any status moves like will o wisp or any hazards like spikes.

Also learns alot of psychic & steel type moves, obviously.
