A bit of Lore for you!

I suppose I wouldn’t be much of an enthusiast if I didn’t share some of my knowledge-and there’s a rather fascinating little bit of lore I’ve heard over the ages.

Once, long ago-some speculate the Hisuian era-a man once tried to defy Arceus itself. He was enraged-why should the gods ignore his pleas, his questions!? Why should they allow such cruel things in the world, if they were as benevolent as people claimed-as omnipotent as they seemed? He found himself obsessed with their myth and legend-studying the ruins for days, and days-almost losing himself in his ambition-to get some answers, to UNDERSTAND the gods. To use their power, and re-write the world into a kinder place-even if it meant sacrificing the world he knew and himself to do it.

Of course-many who follow the Hisuian era of history can gather what happened next. This goal, this ambition-brought the man into conflict with the Skyfaller-the chosen of arceus. He had once allied with them-hoping they would lead him to answers, and indeed-they seemed to be gathering the mysterious plates of arceus with haste. But…of course, the conflict finally came during the battle of spear pillar.

As you can probably guess-the man lost. He was confused-enraged, even as the Skyfaller offered mercy he never deserved. Why should Arceus choose this outsider over himself-he who has been descended from the CELESTICA, the original inhabitants of the region-he who had thrown his entire life, his whole being, into the study of these legends!

He couldn’t understand why the Skyfaller had rightfully won Arceus’ blessing-and so, he stormed down the mountain, never to be seen again…though some think he may have perished on that mountain, or left the region entirely-many speculate that he had been cursed by Arceus after the whole affair.

Some say, as the legends go-His spirit is damned, forever to wander the earth wondering ‘why’. Some say you can spot him, within the ancient ruins-the Celestican, and whatever is left of Hisui. And if you dare disrespect the ruins he loved so dearly—some say his forsaken spirit will appear to avenge them.

Of course-that’s just how the legend goes. Do you believe in ghost stories, Rotumblr?

…Not Even five minutes into my day, and I’ve come across a man I feel a BURNING hatred towards. You are LUCKY I am in Sinnoh, my ‘friend’-or I would show you EXACTLY how my Pokémon feel.

Your pokemon have been conditioned into "loving you" but do not in actuality, and if raised with the choice to do to they would leave you in an instant.

Precious Gift

The most beautiful part of @yamujiburo hanamusa's lore for me is Ash's emotional evolution and acceptance. For a character that surprisingly did not evolve much in its own journey (in a show full of evolutions) and made the same mistakes year after year, this proximity with Jessie is my most expected part of this story

I know nothing about Pokémon and wasn't allowed to watch it as a kid, but now I NEED to understand Hector's relationship with the Zoroark clan and why he keeps away from other humans!!! (ESPECIALLY WHAT WENT DOWN BETWEEN HIM AND THE HUMAN ALPHA THAT DAMAGED HIS HANDS)

Made a Pokemon Arceus AU for Tangled. (even tho its in Alola and Celebi is the time traveler LOL) If people are interested I can give some story.

Next up is Hector! He is the leader of the "Zoroark clan", and took Varian & Ruddiger in when they arrived in Ancient Alola. A fight with "a human Alpha" left Hector with massive injuries to his hands, and Varian made him some claws to fight with. Lately Varian has been asking him to allow more contact with humans, to Hectors dismay. Still, he can't say no to any of the little ones he protects. It's a character flaw he knows about, but can't help having. He prefers to wear trophies of his strongest foes, even if they are only illusions.
