La geografía[1]de los niños pequeños y de los recuerdos que quedan cuando nos hacemos mayores, es muy escasa y apenas se compone de trayectos repetidos. Una de ellas, podría ser ésta: Salía de mi casa, en la calle Magallanes 51 y giraba hacia la izquierda (dirección contraria a la Plaza del Surtidor). En la esquina con Cruz Canteros, había una tienda de comestibles que se llamaba, si no me falla…

I should be home in my town with my family, I should be going to the flooded places, donating food and water, I should be helping people through the wreckage and cooking in the streets and helping distribute food. Deuria estar en casa. Instead I'm in Madrid, far away, knowing that my family is alive and well, but also knowing that this is almost by chance (in our town we have a very big reservoir, which stopped the flooding) but also sad and bitter and angry that I can't do anything to help the people who lost everything. I'm feeling so hopeless and tired. Total number of deaths is probably in the 1000s and there's no proper emergency relief or support, they're taking forever to do anything, but the fucking pigs are so quick to arrest anyone traversing through a fucking FLOODED SUPERMARKET to get food to SURVIVE. Something needs to give, my people need help, the politicians responsible who knew damn well what was coming but didn't sound the alarm, the bosses who kept people working despite the alarm, I want them imprisoned for life. I want them GONE. They're MURDERERS.
