I was just curious. For the "What We Want" series, does the reader have some old habits from their previous life? Like for example, I sometimes like to sing around the house whenever I want. It'd be cool to see how the reader differentiates from what the Batfam knows about the past? previous? her. Just curious. readers in a bit of a tough spot with this one. shes gotta y'know, not get caught, but she also doesn't want to just give up her life. she's very possessive of her sense of self and identity, and of course her freedom. this'll obviously become a problem later on lmfao.

but anyway if someones like 'oh ive never seen you do that before' about any odd habit of yours, just shrug it off and pretend you've been doing it that way your entire life. you might even have because you really don't know anything about the weird before you other than that she was a) a hater and 2) depressed. otherwise she seems pretty similar to you???

Jill had managed to get her short hair (well, most of it-- some strands had fallen loose and were currently framing her face) into a messy bun while she moved about in her kitchen, getting the ingredients to make her and Chris breakfast. While she did so, she couldn't help but feel a little bit giddy as the events from last night replayed in her head. Because yes, they'd known each other, worked together and been friends for a few years but once the two of them had decided to take the romance route, suddenly everything was different. Suddenly there was so much more to learn about one another-- specific likes & dislikes, plans for the future and what sort of expectations they had when it came to a relationship.

For a while, they had focused on that, on really getting to know each other better & in the end, that had absolutely made taking the next step more special... And meaningful. Jill had zero complaints about how things had unfolded between them, about how they had unfolded the night before. It had been... Perfect.

Standing in front of the stove to make scrambled eggs, she felt arms wrap around her from behind-- a grin immediately coming to her face. "Good morning, sleeping beauty. 'Bout time you got up." She turned around in his arms, placing a hand on his chest as she looked up at him, at his sleepy face with eyes sparkling with adoration. Then, cupping his cheek, she pressed her lips to his tenderly.

The domesticity of it all made her heart warm. Lazy kisses shared in the mornings while the smell of coffee wafted through the air? Hell yes, she could get used to it, she certainly could.
