Okay so what I have is that Vulpes is the great grandson of a Psyker that survived the Cathedral explosion. Her name was Ilana and was away in another part of California.

Anyway she had telekinesis (sort of like Jean Grey from X-Men and Alma from Fear) she was considered the most unstable but more powerful then the other Psykers so she was often sent away to do missions.

With her powers she could kill so many people and do a massive amount of damage but each time she used the power it could kill her (she usually had seizures.)

Flash forward to Vulpes’s father, he’s a tribal man in Utah who has Psyker powers. He leads his people as a chief and shaman. Unfortunately the Legion finds out about his gift and seeks to take his tribe to get him. The thing is the Psyker gene skips a generation. So Vulpes and his sister Pricilla didn’t have the mutation.

Caesar learned this and was disappointed in Vulpes who didn’t have any powers BUT pressured him to continually try to make children. He did end up having kids but none of them showed signs of mutation so they were discarded. (Caesar doesn’t understand that their ability has to be activated in the generation it skips to).

It wasn’t until Vulpes had kids with Adrien (my Courier) then the kids showed mutation. It was after a traumatic event that awoke their telekinesis.

So Vulpes is a Psyker but he doesn’t have the powers. Just the gene/mutation.
