🔆 I am telling you this time was very different from the first time for one very very important reason: I didn‘t fucking try to shift. Last time I was actively trying methods and visualizations, I actively tried to keep me in the right mindset and I don‘t want to say I was forcing it, but I was definitely concentrating on shifting. 🔆 Ever since I started embodying the energy/the mindset I was describing in this exact post, I never even methodically tried to initiate shifting. All I ever did was rely on the universe to basically let me meet my DR as soon as it deemed me ready for it. 🔆 However I was following a certain routine for the last week when it came to shifting and I suppose that was very crucial. Each night before falling asleep I would take my melatonin spray and I would very consciously and with clear intent say with each spray I took: „This is my shifting spray, and now I will shift tonight.“ I always take like 4 sprays and then I would lay down to sleep and just imagine one certain scenario tied to my DR and nothing else. I wasn’t even actively trying to feel every emotion, or sensation like I used to do it when I attempted shifting, I was just playing the scene over in my head and basically just enjoyed the moment for myself. 🔆 Last night tho, I did not take any melatonin and I didn’t even imagine my little scene because i laid down to sleep so late at night I actually forgot to try basically. But since I was so used to my routine and this was so imbedded into my brain my subconscious was very aware of my shifting-intent. Since I was not actively trying to shift, I was not monitoring any feelings or signs or symptoms and everything just happened naturally which is the key here. I did mention in this old ass post, that when you are too aware of you shifting you basically sabotage yourself and keep yourself from shifting.

🍎 THE MOMENT 🍎

🔆 I distinctively remember how I was in the middle of falling asleep, and suddenly I felt like I was floating. And when I say suddenly I mean from one second to the other I suddenly felt like there was no mattress under me anymore, and I was just flying around in the fucking universe or something. 🔆 even if I didn‘t open my eyes somehow everything I saw was a white light swallowing me and everything around me was white 🔆 As weird as this may sound now but I was very aware of the fact that I was between realities in that moment and that I was basically swirling round the universe in order to land in my DR. 🔆 In my imagination my DR-Day starts with me waking up on a bed, because I am in a luxurious hotel in Bali and it‘s my wedding weekend (I‘m having a How-I-met-your-mother-season-9-kind-of-DR) . I always had a very specific hotel room in mind when visualizing me waking up. And even if I wasn’t really conscious of anything I just know I was swirling around trying to do a front flip onto that damn DR-Bed in order to land there. 🔆 I know how fucking idiotic that sounds but you guys need to understand that I am just that weird sometimes, that it is really like me to front flip into a different reality😭

🔆✨ the most interesting part about all of this, is that just like last time where I was feeling myself getting pulled into a different reality, I was able to physically feel all of my flips, just like when you go on a roller coaster and that fucker is turning you upside down a lot and you are starting to get sick. I could literally feel my stomach turning upside down.

🔆✨ before any shifting denying people want to comment on my post that I have psychosis again: I am a legal adult that has lived two decades, I can very much distinct between a dream and physical sensation, I have encountered enough situations in my life that allow me to make a pretty spot on differentiation here. I fucking know I was not dreaming.

My (Pretty Quick) Review on Haven - Marianas Trench (2024)

PSA: So my plan is to write a total of probably 3 reviews of Haven. this one being the short one with just rating each song from 1-10 with small commentary. the second being an extension of this one with better commentary for each song, and the third being a review as an album in general instead of focusing on each song. I just have way too many thoughts and I don't want to overwhelm anyone with everything in one post. It also helps me keep my thoughts organized. I just want to join in the fun (despite me being a few weeks late to the party)

Normal Life: ngl it took me a few listens to really like it. But when it hit, it HIT. Not the best opener in their discography tho. 8/10

Lightning and Thunder: i like it as a single, but kind of flops compared to the other songs in the album. Still a bop tho 6/10

I’m Not Getting Better: it took me a two relistens to like it. Again, good as a single but something about it just gives “FOR RADIO”. Can tell they drew some inspo from the 80s and seems a little Astoria-esque (still don’t know if I like it tho). 5/10

Down to You: first single that I automatically fell in love with. However, it sounds way too similar to Kid Laroi’s Stay in some parts and I don’t like that 💀 7/10

Now or Never: 😬 guys, I’ve seen your reviews and I was surprised to see this was a fan favorite. It was not mine (pls don’t kill me 💀). Lyrics,, a little cheesy. Production,, a little boring to me tbh. However not a bad song. Vocals are killer - as always - 4/10

Into the Storm: lyrics are nice (still a little cheesy tho). Production and composition, awesome ! Josh really worked his ass fr. Love the crescendos here. Sounds like it will be killer live. 7/10

Ancient History: another fan favorite for some reason that I was surprised with. Melodically: fan of the verses, not a fan of the chorus (more on that later). Saxophone goes HARD tho 🎷🎷 serviceable bop 5/10

Stand and Fight: pretty good song in the context of the album. Not so good standalone (a little debatable). Josh’s vocals made me tear up hear tho. Gets pretty inspiring 🥹 7/10

Turn and Run: same review as stand and fight except it’s inspiring in a different way. To me: (masterpiece theater II —> Masterpiece Theater 2009) = (turn and run —> Haven 2024) idk if that makes sense but it’s an analogy. Sounds like it’ll be killer in live 6/10

Worlds Collide: BANGER BANGER BANGER. I liked it when I first heard it but it took me til the third to be like “ 🥹I get it.” This song was made for ME. The masterpiece theater references made me tear up. The drama, the composition. Spectacular. However, in the context of the album, it gets held back. More on this song later. 9.75/10

Nights Like These: giving “story of tonight”. Sweet message. Sweet song. (Congrats to josh btw!)6/10

Remember Me By: SLAPS!! Straight up. Loved it as soon as I heard it. Catchy and love the 80s vibe here a lot more. Also reminds me of Try Me from his solo project. Certified BOP 9/10

Haven: KILLER OUTRO! Once more, marianas Trench knocks it out of the park with their outros. I think this is their most ambitious and musically complex song yet and it tears me up how far they’ve come 🥲🥲. 10/10⭐️

Final Notes: Solid album, not my favorite album. I have a bajillion more thoughts on this album because I’m batshit crazy about Marianas Trench. I’m so HAPPY we got new music and hopefully I get to see them soon!!! (my date got postponed 🥲)

Overall Rating: 8/10 💕

“You’re going after him.”

Mike almost couldn’t believe the words that were coming out of his mouth as he sat in Benson’s apartment, surrounded by the paraphernalia of her family life. No one had the balls to take on McGrath, but then again when he looked at Benson, she didn’t need them. He knew if they played this wrong this was career suicide for all of them, he was prepared to put everything on the line for you. However these two, Benson and Murphy, they didn’t know you. “We are.” Benson confirmed before clasping her hands together. “But it’s complicated, everything she told you about the assault…”

“There’s no evidence.” Mike said, filling in the blanks. “Back then I should have realised, I saw the dress and…” He sucked in a deep breath trying to steady the tremble in his voice. It weighted on him that he had missed the signs, it left a bitterness on his tongue. “… it’s long gone in a landfill somewhere.”

“I’ve got Muncy trying to chase down the security footage from that night.” Benson told him.

Mike sagged back in the chair, raising his eyes to the ceiling.

“But three years is a long shot.”

He was a pragmatist at heart. What were the chances of someone keeping something like that? McGrath had probably taken care of it the morning after, brushed it under the rug like he did everything else.

“Do you think she’s strong enough for this?” Murphy asked him, leaning forward. “We’re gonna have a hell of a fight on our hands and when this comes out, it drags out everything. Your relationship will be in the spot light, the defence will claim it’s a pattern of behaviour, she’s ambitious, trying to climb the ladder…”

The look Mike gave the other man was murderous. To his credit Murphy didn’t flinch, he maintained eye contact before Mike spoke.

“We were going to get married in the fall after she passed her Sergeant’s exam.” Mike told Murphy, his heart splitting in two as he remembered the ring you used to wear on a chain around your neck. “It’s not a pattern of behaviour, we fell in love.” His voice was rough as he stared down at his hand, at the space where he had once imagined his own wedding ring would reside. He sighed. “I don’t know if she’s strong enough to do this. Everything he has done has been to break her and I don’t know how much more she can take.”

“Do you have somewhere safe for her to go once we extract her?” Benson asked him. “Somewhere she feels safe? Somewhere McGrath won’t be able to find her?”

Mike thought back to his original plan tonight. The two of you driving off into the sunset and all the way to L.A.

“Yea.” He said, thinking back to the plans he’d made with Chris Alonso. “We have friends who are willing to help.”

“With the evidence that she has collected, we have enough to take down the First Nationals including Ryan Rousseau but what SVU is interested in is the breeding farm, getting out those trafficked girls. That’s what Rousseau’s big tour around the states has been about, we thought they were recruiting but he’s been rolling out the model for his breeding farm, inviting leaders from other branches to see it in action so he can franchise it. They pay him, he provides the girls.” Benson informed Mike, her mouth twisting in distaste.

“I have an alias.” Murphy revealed. “It’s from my time on the West Coast. I’ve set up a meeting with Rousseau, I’ve told him I’m only in town tomorrow night. He’s looking for a partner to expand into Utah and Nevada and he thinks I have the connections. From what I gather the main players will all be there from the other charters. It’s his big chance to show everyone his enterprise.”

Enterprise…

The term made Mike feel sick. Turning out girls like that, knocking them up so that could develop their own master race, making a profit from the fucking misery of it. It made Mike want to burn the whole fucking place to the ground.

“Once Declan is in and we have confirmation of the girls, we’ll be launching a joint raid with Hate Crimes on the breeding farm. We’ll be scooping every single one of them up including your girl. Here’s where it gets sticky. As soon as news of this raid hits, McGrath is going to know what’s happening and we need to move her as quickly and as quietly as possible.”

“McGrath has ties to WITSEC, so I’ve taken the liberty of transferring her over to Hate Crimes for the time being.” Murphy told Mike. “We have the budget and the space, if she wants to stay after all this my Chief is happy to make it permanent. She thinks with her knowledge of organisations like this, she’d be a good asset. Once we get her out, my Chief is going to push through the paperwork for medical leave due to her time undercover.”

“Can we trust her?” Mike asked him.

Murphy fixed him with an even gaze.

“My Chief would sooner set herself on fire than do anything to help McGrath.” Murphy told the other man. “There’s a lot of bad blood between the two of them, there always has been.”

“He’s going to be gunning for you.” Benson said quietly to Mike. “Every phone call you make, every time you step out of your apartment, he’s going to have eyes on you. Everything will have to  through Velasco, there can’t be any contact between the two of you.”

He’d seen it coming. He wasn’t stupid enough to think that he’d get the happy ending he wanted but hearing the words out loud still felt like a gut punch. His chest felt tight with anguish, because you were slipping through his fingers all over again. It was the right thing to do, he knew that, but it hurt like hell.

“It’s for the best.” Benson said in low tone, her hand coming to rest on his arm.

His eyes stung as he swallowed hard past the well of emotion that ached in his throat.

“Yea.” He said, his voice raw as he stared down at his ring finger once more. “I know.”

another of my much weaker 32s. please disregard the greats i shifted to resting my ipad on a blanket bc sitting cross legged was hurting my legs rly bad and i think its fucking up my mental offset. anyway the chart is a blast altho it can be a liiiiiittle irritating at certain parts. still the flicks are so fun esp the ones in the middle with the squiggle holds, and while the runs can be a bit annoying they’re also very rewarding to get right. 7/10 fun but a touch enraging

The post meteor scenario was concerning. The hospitals were full, many gravely injured or with the unknown threat of developing further conditions.

Which is why you had to stay for two more weeks after waking up in the hospital and having a roommate of sorts.

Tho you worried for the woman next to you, wishing for her to be well.

Day 1

"Hi…the nurses told me that talking to you may help your recovery, so here I am." You weirdly chuckled and continued. "I know you don't know me and it must be pretty weird to be listening to a strange voice but I thought it would be nice to read something for you, so…here goes 'The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo'. It's a good book I promise."

Day 3

"We're done with Evelyn, hope you liked it, it's one of my favorites. And since you can't protest against my choice of literature, today will be 'Me Before You', get ready for a trilogy."

Day 9

"Even I have to admit the other two books were not that good, so it's okay if you want to murder me after my choices. However, for your happiness I should be leaving in a few days, my exams are coming out fine, therapy is well…therapy."

Day 10

You sighed with defeat once there was no response and left the room to say goodbye to Ann. Kuina and Chishiya left a couple days ago, so we've already been through that. It's not a forever bye, we still see each other, just no more food heist.

When you returned to the room in order to finish packing up, the woman was awake. You were shocked but stayed on the door to not intrude during the exams.

When the medical team left you still stood awkwardly on the door. The woman just raised her eyebrows in a silent mockery and waited for you to enter the room.

You quickly introduced yourself to her, not mentioning the past couple weeks as to not scare her, and explained why you were cleaning up your side. She didn't say anything for a while.

"So you're leaving?"

To say you jumped in place was an understatement, but recomposed yourself. "Yeah, I've served my time here." You said, attempting a joke.

But she just looked slightly annoyed.

"The nurses mentioned you were reading for me, I don't remember that."

"Oh, it's okay, it was probably bad anyways, I just didn't want you to be alone."

You smiled and sat back on the bed.

"Read for me tonight."

Therefore, you started showing up everyday to see her, mostly to read a book but sometimes you brought flowers or tea. It became a habit to visit her, one you always looked forward to.

Day 20

Today you brought her a chess game. After reading "A Monster Calls" you both thought it was best to take a break. This was how you found out that she was extremely competitive. Even going as far to accusing you of cheating during times she won the game.

Day 21

Chess was more stressful than you expected, so you decided for a movie day. You introduced her to the classical "The Mummy" and she pretended to hate it.

Day 22

You had a fight, to be more exact Mira fought you. She hated tardiness and you were an hour late, of course there was a reason but the woman was too angry to care, simply leaving you out of her room.

Mira was nervous. Ever since she woke up you had been a constant, always trying to improve the days.

Being stuck to a bed was infuriating, having to attend therapy was more pointless. Mira knew what was going on, she studied and saw it countless times, no reason for all of these sessions with a stranger.

But you were there.

She tried to find a reason for your presence, some ulterior motive, maybe a disorder. There was nothing.

Three days weren't a long time, so why did she feel this way, this weird sense of familiarity.

When you were late Mira thought you had left. So when you showed she felt immense relief.

That's why she kicked you out, she got scared of what these feelings might mean. Finding it better to end before getting too attached.

Day 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28

You kept visiting her, telling stories from the door, humming or just sitting there. She didn't let you in during those days.

Ann kept telling you to give up but something begged you to try again, so you did.

Day 29

You started talking through letters under the door. She would ask questions about you and you would respond honestly with also small drawings.

Day 30

Mira let you in. It was her last day in the hospital. You helped her organize the room and move back to her apartment in the capital. Making quick stops at diners for milkshakes.

Day 31

It was the first official date.

You took her to play croquet, she never looked happier…and she won every single time.

Day 60

Your visa to stay in Japan was ending since you didn't have a medical condition anymore.

Mira took you to the park for a picnic.

Mira asked you to stay.

Had a real life Would You Rather moment tonight: be approached by known WOC/BW fetishizers or not be approached at all? The obvious answer here is to not be approached at all (I'm not that desperate to practice flirting), but I would like the record show that I (presumably) did have the option. Now you might be asking, how on earth did I, someone who's been here three and a half months and doesn't go out ever, learn who was a WOC/BW fetishizer? One of my cohortmates (let's call her... my turquoise-friend, I think) has been at this school for a couple of years before starting the program, and she's very aware of the social scene here and is all to eager to share her wisdom (and I am all too eager to listen). I think the funniest part of the night was her telling me about each one she saw and then minutes later spotting them rizzing up a WOC/BW lol (three times in the span of an hour (there were only like five BW in attendance so it was targeted)!!!).

Anyway I did learn the basics of the (cross-step?) waltz which was fun and totally fits my old-timey high-class aesthetic. The one issue is that I could probably be such a good lead but I desperately desire the aesthetic of a follow and therefore I must battle my tendency to not trust my partner.

I wore the burnt orange fishtail dress with the covered back (which floats beautifully with sustained walking (and would fit perfectly were I a smidge taller, sigh)) after all which I do think was the best decision for having strangers (only the two who I learned with, one of whom I'd met before) touch my back. A brighter color does tend to stand out among the blacks and navys which is cool. I was even complimented on the color against my skin tone :) However, it was a bit, uh, boobier than I thought which made me really self conscious in the second half of the night after a photo I'd asked for (to send to my mom) brought it to my attention. My turquoise-friend tried to reassure me that it didn't look as.. attention-seeking as I felt, but I still felt like it was trashier than what I was going for. Fully brought me back to late elementary and middle school levels of discomfort. Not a good feeling.

My hair was so good. I've been conquering my fear of the dutch braid over the past several months, and I did two long ones into a sort of milkmaid style where I wrapped the ends into the opposite braid since I didn't have bobby pins, and it stayed put for a full four hours!!! And while I'm not over the moon with the ginger color, I did love how it matched my dress. Finished off with Chocolate Wasted/Cork ombre lips, statement gold flower earrings, and brown flats. Oh, and shaved legs (this was the longest single part of the getting ready process. thirty minutes. they dont call me lady sasquatch for nothin).

Today I'm thankful that I enjoyed my time at the dance generally. Live orchestra to waltz to (even if I didn't get to experience any of that outside of the lesson part (people didn't really treat it as a true social dance for the most part which was unfortunate)), a decently effective dance lesson, and a cool person to cling to (and meet other people through). I truly do love seeing people dressed up and getting dressed up myself.

Thus ends another chapter of me desperately trying to learn to dance and in doing so fighting against my stiff nature. (lowkey I think a semester of ballet basics did help tho) (might actually want to keep this style up..!)

I am! I'm actually named after one of my great grandparents! At least, my middle name is. My first name is what it is because my dad couldn't think of a way to make fun of it like he could the other suggestions.

No but I hope to!

Yes but usually only playfully. Like if I were to kick a soccer ball hard at a brick wall and it bounces back and hits my face I might be like "boy, what an impossible to predict consequence to my perfectly reasonable action".

I played soccer, basketball, American football and track & field (as a thrower). I also played baseball but I was little

That's a hard one. Maybe if they are intimidating but that's really more me noticing my own reactions. Probably like height, weight, and temperament. Unless I'm at work and then it's a different dynamic.

Honestly, I've always loved the idea of being an artist of some kind, creating things with my own two hands that are actually meaningful to others. But, my brain doesn't really let me focus on things for more than a couple of minutes so I struggle to develop talents with pretty much anything.

Theories and predictions TIIIIIIME-

Note that I have not checked theories so the below may be common ones the fandom would go “Awwww cute, yeah we’ve theorized that for a decade”, but I’m putting it here for laughs and to see how many hold up on further scrutiny or by the finale.

1: Sanji and his brothers have Lunarian DNA edited in by their father, since the timeline lines up for when Judge was part of MADS and King was a test subject. Also see the Seraph, so we know Dr. Vegapunk and his crew had access.

2: There is gonna be some big ass reveal with Zoro and his ability to cheat death. The fact that the reaper was looming over him is important, and he got a sword his is named after the god/ruler of hell. Oda is building some THEMES here. Plus, he got the sword Wado because of Kuina’s death, which is interesting.

3: Weevil isn’t Whitebeard’s son by the usual means, dude’s a clone.

4: Pudding has been kidnapped by Blackbeard to try and awaken her third eye to read the Poneglyphs. Also sidenote but how the heck will Shanks, Kid and Law translate the glyphs? WHAT MEANS DO THEY HAVE. THEY SEEM PRETTY CONFIDENT. ...Tho tbh Kid and Law are probably just trying to gather the glyphs before they tackle that, so Shanks is the main one I’m side-eying here. (Maybe Oden taught him how to read the poneglyphs???)

5: Blackbeard is gonna lose because the sea. Like his whole ass crew are devil fruit users. That fucking idiot. Also have we have only seen him use Haki sparingly, and seems overly dependent on the fruit. So that will be interesting. Also adjacent theory- Blackbeard as a individual is at least partly gonna lose because of Zoro or Sanji or a combo of the two. 

6: Blackbeard isn’t gonna be the final battle for Luffy. I’m not sure who the final battle will be- I’m leaning towards Shanks or Im-sama, but neither of those feel truly *right* right now so IDK. I could absolutely be wrong since Blackbeard’s goal may be the same as Rocks, which was to rule the world (and symbolically Luffy opposes that because yanno. Freedom.), but Im-sama is the current ruler and system, whereas Shanks would be a symbolic final passing of the torch for the younger generation to have truly surpassed their elders.

7: Hawkeye, Im-sama and the freakin’ Elephant are all connected somehow because of their eyes DON’T ASK ME HOW. (...oooh wait does that mean Hawkeye is ancient? Huh. That... would be interesting if Zoro takes on the mantle of death/king of hell and wins against Hawkeye, finally bringing death to an immortal.)

8: Law is not going to win against Blackbeard, but he’s gonna escape with Pudding. Also her eye will get awakened which will help solve his Poneglyph reading problem. This may also bring in Katakuri again, YES.

9: Kuma may have also been a Lunarian.

10: Speaking of Lunarians, since they were the previous gods, my grand theory: There used to be a bad oppressive system during the void century, Joyboy and others attempted and successfully overthrew it, but in the fallout the government/celestial dragon factions that took over and came out on top simply put in another bad system with themselves in power instead. However there are some holes, such as why the government wanted to completely erase that history instead of spinning it as they are the true heroes and yadda yadda.

It could also be Wano is a shorter period of what ended up happening during the void century, just with the end result being worse aka what if a Kaido figure won with the Orochi types overthrown and the Kozuki types suppressed and scattered.

Okay listen. I know I was like “I’m gonna start it tonight!” And I did. But then I didn’t sleep and I just finished chapter 10 (after a lengthy break because I was mad at Erwin for a while lol). And the end of chapter 10 in the snow? So cute. I’m obsessed and I love this story!

I've said it a good couple of times that chapter 9 was my favourite to write, the whole build up for then hahaha tho Levi receiving her was probably my favourite part, he was like "stop crying and tell me who I'm supposed to kill," Levi has a protective nature even if he tries to not give a fuck haha. Same in chapter 10 when he looks after her, even when he feels that's not his responsabiliy he simply can't stop worrrying. That's Levi, he carries the world upon his shoulders.

beaches rhymes with peaches

my family pulled me out of school today to go to the beach, and it was amazing. the water was surprisingly warm over there, and i took a couple of cool pictures that i'm most definitely gonna tweet later tonight. this one fat woman came up to me while i was in the water, and handed me a beach toy, thinking it was mine, and i just responded "this isn't my toy, but i'll gladly take it. thx for the free toy!" dad wanted to go to the secluded part of the beach, but mom was against it, as it was really far away from the bathroom, tho she immediately switched over to dad's side when she saw how fucking packed the side of the beach she originally wanted to go to was. today was a fun day and i really enjoyed it.

MWAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! NOW IT IS TIME FOR THE BAD NEWS!!! BRACE YOURSELF!!! MWAHAHAHAHHAHAH!!!: i have a fuck ton of homework that i need to get to because i missed school, and i probably shouldn't be writing on this stupid blog rn. i should probably go. god bless you all.

set up a picnic with a basket f u l l of food

and ofc a bottle of champagne bc tonight you two would be celebrating

pulled out the ring box right as you swallowed the last of the macaron you’d been nibbling on

no one really knows how that decision came to be but i mean no one was complaining either so

he appreciates pretty flora and if the bouquets and floral arrangements at his wedding weren’t the prettiest possible he would n o t be satisfied

teared up as you walked down the aisle (which he will neither confirm nor deny)

just imagine: tan suit with a black button up and a gold tie, gold cufflinks with a ruby set in each

i know those are his costume colors but he looks good in them so y’all can fight me

dipped you for your first kiss as husband and wife to everyone’s amusement

best believe a few different cameras caught that

the timing of the wedding was planned out so the reception was held at night

semi-sheer white tents and custom black ten-feet tall candelabras

the soft glow from the candles combined with the moonlight made for the perfect dreamy vibe 

he managed to find a florist that could dye white roses black and cover them them with a thin layer of gold glitter

was it necessary? no

did it look good? heck yeah

the gold glitter shined beautifully against the black roses

tho

the way your eyes sparkled as you danced with him was far more captivating

you two had flown up into the sky to dance your first dance together

your silhouettes against the bright moon made for a perfect picture

the only reason you ended up coming down was because neither of you had eaten much that day and a guy’s gotta eat

he gonna need stamina later *winky face*

you cannot convince me the man wouldn’t insist on fried chicken

like a whole buffet table of different flavors

but i mean fried chicken is good so can’t blame him

everyone expected him to smear some cake on your face when he fed you that first piece

instead wiped off the frosting that got on your lips with his thumb and licked it off

your best friend caught t h a t one on camera and will never stop teasing you about how flustered you got

he kept up a great image of a polite host but on the inside he was ready to g o

it had been a long day and he was ready love on his wife

gives you a soft kiss before putting you down

and that’s the last soft kiss you’re gonna get for the night lolllll

definitely the type to make you breakfast in the morning

also the type to cook in nothing but an apron and boxers but anyway

you better be up in time to see that sight bc if not, you’re getting breakfast in bed not that i’d complain

he’s not the best cook but mans can manage some bacon and eggs

plus some fresh fruit bc it makes it more visually appealing and less like he doesn’t really know how to cook

he set the tray on your lap and climbs back into bed, pulling you into his side so your head can rest on his chest as you two munch on breakfast

there’s something so soothing about the sound of his heartbeat

a soft little rhythm that nearly puts you back the sleep

didn’t help that he was unconsciously running his fingertips along your arm, drawing random squiggles and shapes

will tilt your head up by the chin every so often to give you a little peck on the lips

if you do fall asleep, he’ll just gaze at you softly while lightly tracing your features

still can’t process that you’re married

someone actually loved him enough to marry him

there was someone that didn’t just admire or use him bc of his quirk

didn’t give him attention purely bc he’s the number 2 hero

you saw all his flaws and shortcomings and insecurities and loved him regardless

if he’s dreaming, please don’t wake him up

you cleaning him wings for him is something he loves so much

it’s such an intimate task that makes him feel cared for

loved

how much time you take in cleaning them and how tenderly you handle each wing

it’s one of his favorite ways to spend time with you

it’s nice being taken care of for once, esp when he’s always taking care of others

absolutely loves taking you on night flights

will take you in his arms and just soar above the clouds

with the clouds below you and the stars above, it feels like you two are the only people that exist

definitely dances with you during some of those flights

wraps one arm more tightly around your waist and take your hand in his and just… slowly spins in the air

it doesn’t look like much but when you’re just looking into each other’s eyes, it feels like the most romantic and intimate moment you could ask for

your life is quite literally in his hands but you’ve never felt safer

even more so when you wrap your arms around his neck and bury your face in the crook

his arms wound securely around your waist, the comforting smell of his scent, the kisses he presses to your temple every so often

it feels like home

likes startling/scaring you a lot

will sneak into the house after work just so he can tap on your shoulder from behind 

the gasp you let out as you freak out for half a second never fails to amuse him the jerk

will always make it up to you with long, deep kiss

if he gets home late after a long day he’ll just crawl into bed and pull you into his arms before burying his face into your hair

no talking, just breathes in your scent before he crashes

he sleeps really well like that, but, although he won’t admit it, he sleeps best when you hold him, his face buried in your chest

he feels warm and safe, like it’s okay to be vulnerable for once

absolutely flirts with you while at work

probably definitely sends you a few spicy pics or texts

it gives him such smug satisfaction knowing the affect he has on you when he’s not even physically there

picks up take-out when he knows your too tired to or would rather not cook

like to back hug you and wrap you up with his wings

9/10 times will bury his face in your neck and nuzzle

sometimes if he spots you while on patrol, he’ll fly over and flirt with you

“how you doin’, gorgeous? the name’s hawks. what’s a pretty lil’ thing like you doin’ in a neighborhood like this?”

sir, this is one of the safest areas in the city pLS-

but if you actually a r e in danger? oh boy

no one, and i mean no one, touches his girl

honestly i’d rather fight bakugo one on one than deal with keigo’s wrath

he’s one of the chillest people you will ever meet, but when he’s that mad? s c a r y

will keep a close watch on you for a while after that

asks you to always let him know where you’ll be and to text him when you get home

definitely considered installing a tracking app on your phones

he’ll calm down eventually, but for the moment he’s extremely anxious

although he certainly tried his best to hide it

he didn’t want to stress you out too, especially if you had any anxieties from it yourself

he was just afraid to lose you

he doesn’t know what he’d do without you

after all, you’re the most precious thing in the world to him and he loves you more than he could ever put into words
