夏の終わりの「尾瀬」テント泊

以前、尾瀬を訪れた時は日帰り。もちろん日帰りなので、尾瀬沼を一周して帰るというプラン。 その時の体験があまりにも特別で、今でもそうですが、忘れることのできない体験でした。 だから、再び行きたい。しかも、せめて1泊はしたいと思って、この夏に尾瀬テント泊で行ってきました。 今回も前回と同じく尾瀬御池から始まります。 登山口となる沼山峠までは、ここからバスに乗ります。 前回もここからスタートですけど、ここの方はとても親切で、往復で買った方が良いのか片道で買った方が良いのか、相談に乗ってくれます。 実際、自分は日程に余裕があったので無理に1泊2日せず、もう1泊できる余裕があったので相談したところ、片道で買った方が良いと教えてくれました。 仕事だからと言ってしまうとたしかにそうですけれど、こういうところで頼りにできる人がいるのはうれしいですね。 歩けば、たしかに尾瀬はまさしく尾瀬で…

Indencent Exposure

Anthology (1996-2000)

Born out of an era that was filled with analog cassettes disposable cameras and hardcore shows at VFW halls. Indecent Exposure or IE was one of the earliest black and white photocopied graffiti zines to be made. Everyone involved with IE became part of it’s legion of lawlessness, hilarity, and counter measures to fitting into society. We were a band of skeptics that did our own background checks, made our own bus passes, and evaded all the normalcy that the

rest of society shoved down our throats. Before the internet took over and gave almost every human their own stage to dance on, before all the chitter chatter in the comment section, and the incessant phone checking, there was us at grimy coffeeshops camped out with mugs upon mugs of coffee, drying our clothes out, smoking Old Golds, drawing and writing and reading and waiting for the night to fall. Before IG there was IE. And with IE we validated each other through and through.

Created on the West Coast and other locales around the US over a 4 year period between 1996-2000, it consisted of 8 issues. The zine featured only illegal graffiti and was assembled from hard copy photos in a cut and pasted style.

A call back to the end of the analog era.

This heavy collection of photos really speaks for itself. Stacked full of illegal street graffiti, letters, drawings and stories. Also included is an enlarged version of a poster that was originally included in one of the issues.

I don't know where it came from, but several years ago this idea popped into my head unbidden, and for some reason it tickles me. I don't know if it's funny, but I like it and I made it into a zine, I hope you enjoy it.

It lays out really nicely as 3-up spreads on A4 paper, so you can print, staple and fold it, then cut it into 3 zines. It made it really easy to print up 20 of them to trade at this art social thing I went to

thinking about how the best case scenario that elphaba can imagine in the wizard and i is that finally someone will come along who will be able to change everything about her. even in her wildest dreams, she views that as her best option.

and then.

along comes galinda. who - after spending an entire night attempting to give her a makeover - settles on: ‘actually, you’re perfect just the way you are. i wouldn’t change a thing. except maybe to tuck a little piece of myself in with you, just there.’

and i just think that’s neat.

2025年 - 旅の途上で見つけた、新たな視点とこれからの道

2020年9月に“re”からはじめなおすを最初の投稿にしてあらためてはじめたblogも、気づけば2024年9月をむかえ、5年目に入りました。 blogをあらためてはじめるということも含んではいますが、40歳という年齢になり心のどこかで渦巻いていた、生き方ややりたいことについてのモヤモヤから、考えていても仕方がないので動いてみるしかないな、と「あらためて始め直した」ところの方が大きかったと思います。 5年間をふりかえると、プライベートも仕事も良い意味の自己投資を繰り返すことができました。映像やデザイン、��くつかの事業の立ち上げ、法人や事業のブランディング、広報、研究開発など、20〜30代で手がけてきた集大成として取り組み、多くの気づきと成長の機会に恵まれました。 プライベートでは、山々を訪れる旅が印象に残っています。念願だった尾瀬に行くことができたのは、今でもまた行きたいと思える体験…

I'm too much of a sucker for the tragedy of Wicked's ending to take any of this seriously, but the funniest possible fix-it concept is that Glinda just. Does not know. How the fuck. To send this 12yo back to Kansas. Like why the hell would she know how to do that?? Who thought it was a good idea to leave her in charge of this???

And from Dorothy's POV, this is such a funny concept: imagine for a minute that you (a child) wake up in a Fairy-Land, become best friends with a (possibly mentally unstable?) talking scarecrow, and are told by the god-kind that you must go murder his political rival before he'll send go home. Fine. This might as well happen.

And when you return from said murder - which is somehow successful - it turns out the god-king is a fraud and cannot help you. Whoops. Well, how about the OTHER seemingly most powerful person in the country? Ah, no....it turn out she had pretty limited powers in the magic department. And they're mostly bubble-related.

So she takes you (by bubble) to a tiny seaside town on the edge of the map to seek the help of her most powerful friends….the woman you just murdered and your scarecrow best friend who was an accomplice to that murder. And apparently, they’ve all three been dating since undergrad.

I mean, what do you even do with that.
