Top is fine, I know a few people irl with the surname Top. But the others annoy me lol especially Batoful (IOTS has his surname as Kalani and that makes two million times more sense)

Waterflower is some YA Novel shit though. Doesn’t suit Owen at all.

Sterecra is not a name. It is not an indian surname. It is not an anything surname. It is a name someone made up back in 2008 along with such brilliant and real last names as “batoful” “top” and fucking “waterflower.” Most total drama characters do not have last names. The only ones that do are Harold, Nichelle, Brick, Cameron, Cody, Blaineley, Chris, Chef, Alejandro, Lightning, Dakota, DJ and some characters from RR i’m probably forgetting. Please make your own last name headcanons, there is no such thing as a “noah sterecra.”

i think after season 1, owen was really reduced down to being nothing but the writers excuse for putting in fatphobic jokes (though he was definitely already that in island, but with more nuance than like. world tour owen), but one big exception to this i think is his return in action. i know not a lot of people super love action or this side plot, but i actually really like it bc i think it reinforces what i like about owen. like, the need to help his family vs not wanting to hurt his friends is a really nicely done character struggle imo (and one i can definitely understand as someone whose like. poor), and owens empathy and kindness during the situation really makes me feel for him and reminds me of why i still enjoy his character despite how grating the fatphobic aspects i associate with him can get
