Okay, here we go. Posted late bc... headaches suck. Here’s some headcanons.
––––––––––
General (Which is what you see on @the-boleyn-inquiries. Will also be present in Clockwork Conversations when I post Chapter 1.)
Anne’s very family oriented. She’s willing to fight for the other five queens, especially Katherine Howard.
She’s a huge coward in terms of pranks. Anne is well aware that only two people can out prank her. (Her cousin, and Anna of Cleves.)
When she’s not busy stealing her cousin’s chocolate, or Parr’s coffee, she’s drinking tea. Safe to assume, this is the tea both Aragón and Jane drink in the morning.
The Boleyn Inquiries Only: Anne 100% took up Falconry and the other five queens are both amazed and concerned at how good she is.
––––––––––
Out of a Book (Parrlyn fluff, on my Ao3. Chapter 2 coming soon.)
The biggest nerd you will ever meet. Her apartment is littered with bookshelves and books.
Boleyn wears contacts most days. On the days she has to wear her glasses, she is extremely careful. Sure, she has an extra pair, but she refuses to break or lose any pair of glasses.
Give her any ingredient in the kitchen, and she’ll cook something beyond your imagination. A lot of the things she cooks at home are family recipes, which she gathered into a small notebook thanks to her mother.
She’s as humble as they come in terms of being a model. However, if she feels like she can show off? She will show off. Anne is very prideful, but she’s also mindful of everyone around her.
––––––––––
London Bridge is Falling (Superhero AU inspired by My Hero Academia. Will be on my Ao3. Chapter 1 is in the works.)
Boleyn is a Vigilante. While they do the work of the Pro Heroes without paying mind and attention to the law, what they do can consider them a Villain. However, because Boleyn seems to not let their Quirk go out of control, nor do they harm civilians or cause any true structural damage, they are left alone in the eyes of justice.
Their costume keeps their identity hidden, with only their eyes visible.
When the Pro Heroes requested Boleyn’s aide, they were very reluctant to want to work alongside them until they got comfortable thanks to Parr, the sidekick.
In a way, after the defeat of Eight, the Pro Heroes name Boleyn a hero of sorts. This turns them from a Vigilante into an Underground Hero.

"At any age, the reader must come across: the child reader is the most eager and quick to do so; he not only lends to the story, he flings into the story the whole of his sensuous experience which from being limited is the more intense."

You Matter to Me
Summary: Katherine Howard’s back for the summer! And once again, she’s got a plan to get Catherine Parr and Anne Boleyn to sing on stage. Only this time, she would be taken by surprise when the two are more willing to do it.
Character(s): Parrlyn (Anne Boleyn / Catherine Parr) Katherine Howard Jane Seymour / Catherine of Aragon (Catalina) / Anna of Cleves (They’re there, but not the focus.)
A/N: Kit + Waitress + Parrlyn = MORE IDEAS.
Because Wishing for the Normal was such a success, I bring you a second part in the Six x [Show] oneshots. And more of an excuse to give you guys teasers and insight into the world of Out of a Book.
It’s a little shorter than my Six x Soho Cinders one, but... come on. It’s still adorable. And kinda sad. Sorry, not sorry bout what I said.
Feel free to request a show. I’ll find a song from said show, and I’ll write it out. And if you want to see another one of the ladies sing it, let me know which one!

––––––––––
Northern summers were relatively tame in comparison to southern summers, as Katherine Howard tended to say to the rest of the group.
With it being her summer break, and the first Thursday she was officially back, the plans had been made and the group of six ladies were on their way to Peaks once again for more open mic nights.
They always went with the assumption it would be the young Howard girl singing. But as always, she seemed to enjoy throwing curveballs. A while ago, it had been getting Anne Boleyn and Catherine Parr up on stage to sing Wishing for the Normal from Soho Cinders. This time would be similar, but from one of her favorite musicals: Waitress. She knew exactly what she could get them to sing, and she was excited to hear them sing again. With a bit of a giggle, the girl turns around and smiles.
“I’m so excited to be back! I missed this place.”
A laugh from Jane Seymour. She catches up to her daughter and just pulls her into a side hug.
“We missed you too! Now you have us all for a few months.”
The smell of coffee immediately woke Catherine Parr up from her daydream. Anne Boleyn, being right by her side, gently nudged her and laughed a little. “Fallin’ asleep, babes? It’s barely past seven!” It seemed to be that this got a smile from the author. The pair, like the last time they had come, were the two who went to get the table by the stage. And much like the last time, it was Catalina who brought Catherine her stuff, and Anna who brought Anne hers.
Jane Seymour and Katherine Howard both sat down at the other end, with the young Howard pulling out her binder. Anna chuckled, giving the university student a nod. “You’re a woman of many tricks, Kat. You always have something ready for us, don’t you?”
“I do! And this time, I’d like to once again challenge the lovely couple over there to sing!”
That caught Boleyn’s attention. Raising an eyebrow, the model let her lip curl into a rather smug smirk. “Bring it on, Kat. What are we singing today?”
“Waitress. You Matter to Me. Figured it would be appropriate for the both of you like how Wishing for the Normal was.”
Parr’s blank expression grew a smile. She, for once, knew what was going on. “I’m down! Get up on that piano, Kat! Come on, Annie!”
Catalina’s jaw drops at hearing those words come out of her roommate’s mouth. The Spaniard ran a hand through her hair, still in disbelief that her English roommate was so happily jumping up at the chance to pick up a microphone. Shaking her head, Catalina brought the cup of tea up to her lips and took a swig, trying to process everything that just happened in front of her. Catherine Parr was almost always reluctant to even sing in the shower, so what made this so different?
Maybe it was because it was Anne. Catalina nodded to herself, knowing it was definitely the model that got the author to sing her heart out.
Katherine Howard carefully settled herself down, opening up the binder to reveal the score. With a small smile, she began to play. Much to everyone’s surprise, it was actually Catherine Parr who would sing first. Her gaze was already meeting Anne’s, and she could not help the smile on her face.
“I could find the whole meaning of life in those sad eyes. They’ve seen things that you’ll never quite say, but I hear. Come out of hiding, I’m right here beside you...”
Her right hand reaches out, gently grabbing her partner’s left hand.
“And I’ll stay there, as long as you let me. Because you matter to me. Simple and plain, and not much to ask from somebody.”
A gentle squeeze of said hand.
“You matter to me. I promise you do, you– you matter too. I promise you do. You see? You matter to me.”
Anne Boleyn felt herself tear up. This song itself was really a pleasant surprise. And how it held such meaning, with Catherine Parr just being next to her and all. She grew up in a very loving household, and was blessed with so many things... but this? This connection she was feeling was a blessing she would never let go of. It felt just like the last time they came up together and sang thanks to their pianist behind them.
“It’s addictive the minute you let yourself think: ‘the things that I say just might matter to someone.’ All of this time, I’ve been keeping my mind on the running away...”
In just a moment, she felt her walls completely come down. Despite the blessings she always made sure to count, her life growing up wasn’t too easy either. She remembers her high school days, and all of the extreme ends she had gone to just to keep a smile on her face. Meeting Parr’s gaze again, Boleyn found herself with a tear or two streaming down from the corner of her eyes.
“And for the first time, I think I’d consider the stay. Because you matter to me... simple and plain, and not much to ask from somebody.”
There were tears coming down from her eyes at this point. And even through those tears, she kept on singing, knowing damn well her voice would crack eventually. “You matter to me. I promise you do, you– you matter too. I promise you do. You see? You matter to me.”
There was the piano interlude. Katherine Howard could hear it, the emotion in Anne’s voice. Looking up, the brunette sees Catherine’s hand holding Anne’s cheek, and her thumb wiping the tears away. Closing up the little space between her partner’s hand and her own cheek, Boleyn brought up her left hand to place over Parr’s right. The two just gave glances at each other, with Parr’s being soft and welcoming, while Boleyn’s was warm and slightly vulnerable.
“And you matter to me, simple and plain and not much to ask from somebody. You matter to me...”
“I promise you do, you–” “Come out of hiding, I'm right here beside you.”
“You matter too.” “As long as you have me.”
“I promise you do, you, you matter too.” "Come out of hiding, I'm right here beside you.”
“I promise you do, you– you matter too.” “I do. I promise you do. You matter to me.”
Catherine Parr kept wiping away at Anne Boleyn’s tears. Anne was sure her voice finally cracked, and she just allowed herself to cry on the stage. The emotions were quite overwhelming, but they were mostly good. Letting the microphone fall away from her lips, she just lets Parr finish the song by herself. The slightly shorter of the two ladies just pulled her girlfriend into a hug, her shoulders shaking a bit from the tears.
“I promise you do, you see. You matter to me.”
Katherine Howard stood up from the keyboard, her eyes welling up from seeing the sight of Boleyn clinging onto Parr tightly. Both heartwarming, and sad. Catherine Parr gently pushed Anne Boleyn off of her, moving some of the hairs out of her forehead and giving her a kiss there. “It’s okay, Annie. Really, it’s okay. I’m here, and I’m not going anywhere. You’re going to be okay.”
Looking up, the Boleyn girl just nodded. “I believe you, Cathy.”
The three ladies at the table all began to smile. They couldn’t help it. It was an endearing moment, having seen such vulnerability be backed up by such grace. If it wasn’t evident enough, the two loved each other dearly. Such different backgrounds, yet... nothing really mattered. And while Parr found it concerning that her beloved did break down and cry on the stage, Boleyn reassured her she was crying for the right reasons.
“I’m sorry, Cathy. I normally don’t–”
“It’s okay, Annie. I’m glad you trust me enough to let me comfort you when you’re at your most vulnerable.”

II: Scones and Coffee (Excerpt)
A/N: Posting this because I love you guys a lot. This is Aragon’s flashback from the first day she met Parr. In the actual chapter, it will be italicized and I will be noting at the beginning notes that the flashbacks are a change of point of view.
So, this is in first person. (I / Me)
Tagging you three cause y’all love this as much as I do: @watercolored-lemonade | @parrlyndreams | @theatergirl06

“Catalina?” I heard the RA come through the door. I just looked up from my laptop, raising an eyebrow. “Oh! You are here, good. I have good news, you’re getting a roommate that’s a lot less troublesome than your last.” I just look down for a moment. Finally, someone sensible. My last roommate was too much of a partier, and to be honest with you, I was working on keeping my grades high so I could apply for the grad school program. I look back up, feeling a smile form on my face.
“That’s great! When are they going to be here?”
“Maybe in an hour or so. I think she’s in class right now. You might get along with her, actually. Her name’s Catherine Parr.”
Parr? The name sounded familiar. I just nodded. “Well, I’m sure she sounds lovely. Thanks for the heads up, Jackson.” His gaze brightens up and he waves. “No problem. Stay out of trouble,” he laughs a bit, before the door closes. Jackson was a nice guy. Sensible RA and everything. I tended to always come back from the holidays with something from Spain for him.
The hour passed by rather fast. There was a knock at the door.
Standing up from the bed, I stretched my arms over my head and yawned. With my left hand taking the handle, I went on and opened the door. And there she was, the roommate Jackson was talking about. I have to admit, her hair is gorgeous. I love the curls. A smile tugs at my lips. “You must be Catherine, right? It’s nice to meet you!”
“A pleasure! And you’re Catalina, correct?”
“The one and only. Come on in!”
I stepped out of the way to let her come into the room. She sat down on the other bed, and ran a hand through her curls. “Sorry about the last minute change. My last roommate was a bit of a party animal and I just needed to find some peace and quiet.”
“Same. Literally, same! What are you majoring in?”
“English Composition and Writing. I plan on being an author. It might be a struggle, but, if you truly have a passion for something, you’ll make it work out for you. And you?”
“Spanish Education. I plan on teaching.”
Her eyes lit up. She looked excited to finally have a roommate to relate to. I just began to laugh, seeing I would maybe have fun with her after all. “You’re Scottish, aren’t you? Your accent sounds pretty close to the region.”
“English, actually. I’m from the greater Manchester area! I sound quite close to them, but I’m not. And you’re from Spain, I assume by your voice? You have a rather interesting accent.” She was good. And the first English person I’ve ever met, too. I will say though, she looks like she lives off of nothing but coffee. I hope she sleeps at night. I nod, the smile still on my face. “Alcalá de Henares! Spanish born indeed.”
You know, Catalina, you might have just found your best friend.
