in your absence, aventurine welcomes little thoughts of you that float around his mind with open arms - and the way he indulges them is by simply texting you. effective and efficient, there is a reason why the cosmos calls it the second most used means for long distance communication. what about the first? well, he would've opted for calling you with his earpiece if only his line of work doesn't require 90% of its usage time.

let's just say the idea of fellow stonehearts interrupting his conversation with you ruins the fun. besides, he has deft fingers; coin tricks aren't the only thing in his book, you know, typing a few sentences in one go is no problem at all.

but maybe, he is using that too much to his advantage . . . considering the “25+” staring back at you from your notifications every few hours or so. aventurine is truly, irrevocably relentless.

have faith that you will never grasp the true meaning of boredom when you’re apart from him. luck follows a man like aventurine, so do interesting events - remember how he won a vacation to a resort with one chip? he revels in telling you stories of his encounters while you're away. it is as if thrill revolves around him constantly. . . one wonders just how he fares living on the edge of it all.

of course, texts on an illuminated screen can barely compare to seeing you in person. he prefers having you in his arms instead - but he'll live. solitude is an old friend of his, albeit distant and cold, aventurine can deal with its company every once in a while. at the end of the day, he knows you’ll be there when he comes home.

though, it's such a shame he cannot see your face when you're apart. the curve of your lips as you smile, the twinkle in your eyes with his reflection in them, and. . . ah, seems like he is making this harder for himself. maybe, he should consider buying that HD holographic communicative device on the market? his ears caught wind of some P45 officers at pier point whispering about it before.

it'll cost a large sum of credits but hey, he thinks it'll be worth it. for you? anything is possible.

sunday’s self-discipline is not something to be underestimated. halovians are a species known for their enchanting voices, yet he feels as if he cannot spare any for even his inner thoughts. what an irony. his longing for your presence is persistent, tumbling at the edge of his tongue - but he is equally as, if not more, stubborn and so he swallows this yearning down instantly.

you are not confined to the dreamscape like he is, as self-imposed as that may be. sunday is aware of that, hence his first instinct is to keep quiet. the curse of sealing his lips till forevermore; watching you leave through the grand doors, letting his gaze fall to where your shadow used to be, savoring the last of your remaining fragrance from when you last bade him goodbye - all without a word.

is it a bad habit? “your voice shouldn't be used just to utter words that others want to hear,” you reminded him once. “it's also for you. it's yours.”

but even then, your words are akin to a faint whisper; muffled by the thoughts that plague his mind like a mist. he can't help how they fog up his reflection in the mirror, leaving remnants of something acrid that wafts in the air. something like doubts, sunday would know because he has dwelled in it for as long as he remembers.

you are outside, fluttering your wings in the sky and enjoying what it has to offer. does he have any rights to disturb you? perhaps, in his eyes, sunday views himself as a string tied around your talon, trailing all the way from the heavens where you soar to the humble ground where he resides. each time your absence compels him to reach out, it is as if he’s tugging on that string and dragging you lower from the height you truly relish in, from the height you deserve to be at.

so here, he shall stay and here, he shall wait until you return. sunday’s heart begins to grow cold - but the farewell kiss you've left on the apple of his cheek hasn't faded. its warmth remains, even when he brushes his freezing hand against it, it remains.

dr. ratio is a man with a packed schedule, so it's safe to say he keeps himself occupied particularly well. tasks at the intelligentsia guild are nothing short of demanding, after all. there are researchers asking for his input left and right, although some tremble while speaking to him even when he hasn't even uttered a word yet. ignoring that, he also aids in projects that require his expertise. last but not least, his students and classes which he takes very seriously.

(but be careful with how you phrase it — the doctor doesn't view them as distractions, no, he sees them as his responsibilities — saying the former might offend him.)

as you can see, he is perfectly capable of spending time away from you. . . .or at least, until it's time for a break and a part of that perfection chips off.

his office is quite tranquil, free from outside noise, just the way he likes. this place bears a similar purpose as his headgear, to let him focus in silence without disturbance - but he hasn't expected that exact silence to be this deafening. hah, how absurd! in what realm of possibility could silence ever be associated with deafening as an adjective? he supposes it could be a case of tinnitus. . . but veritas knows that isn't the case.

something's missing and it is, much to his dismay, you.

veritas has his standards. he prefers things to be set at a specific level - and this level of silence, one marred further by your lack of presence, is too low for him. he's getting too used to seeing you barge into his office with neatly packed sandwiches in your hands, a revelation he'd rather keep to himself.

veritas reaches for his personal phone, his work one left neglected at the far end of the desk. he considers making a call to you but the clock is ticking. tick tock tick tock, as if to hang the fact that his break is reaching its end over his head.

utilizing whatever time he has left, his finger gives the gallery app a tap. various pictures pop up on the screen; selfies of you with silly expressions, candid shots of veritas himself and some photos of random objects like your matching mugs. all of these were taken by you, of course. seriously, is this his phone or is it yours?

who knows at this point? he nearly lets out a snort, but that smile on his face is fooling no one. the doctor continues scrolling through his gallery, utterly content with just this until he gets home. to you.

Now most of the guys would rather not talk about their feels and their trauma from their missions and shit but now required by their respective bases and nations a therapist is required for each task force and base to exist. With them being grown ass men who probably have been shut out from the world other then their missions and out of base duties, they have no idea how to outside civilian world works now. When you first came to the task 141 base you were greeted with surprised reactions to how old you were, major professionalism and a distrustfulness in the air, The majority of the boys (mostly ghost) are wary around sharing with you even with things that have nothing to do with mission or personal background like their favorite color or hobbies in case you might find a way to use it against them.

Price : probably the second most willing for therapy after gaz, He doesn’t share as much as a normal person would because why tf would you need to know EVERYTHING that has ever happened to him. He’s does warm up to you but as much as a task force leader can, very concerned about your own mental state and health because he once was in a session with you and he suddenly told him you were high as shit and he spent the rest of the day looking after you.

Gaz : the most willing person! He knows that he has seen some shit and that some times that shit need to be talked about. More thinking that you were unfit to really be part of the task force to stay here almost 24/7 365 and only leaving once a month for 3 weeks, that was until he had brought you to the shooting range they had and you had shot a P45 like it was a second joint in ur arm he was impressed. Speaking of the shooting range I feel like it would be gaz’s calming place were he can shoot guns without a care or guilt to creep up on him later.

Soap : unlike how most people would think, I feel like soap wouldn’t like a therapist, not that he would feel like they would bother him but what if they leak information or if they got kidnapped and interfaced by an enemy. So many thing run rapid in his mind like the fact he thinks you’re a normal citizen and that you have zero military training, he thinks that your another person he has to protect and not have people bum rush you. He’s presence around you is like a fed up older brother who is tired but his prospect of you would change when graves took over under the command of general shepherd and you acted as a unknown spy for the now rouge 141 with the shadow company and even them not knowing you were sided with the 141.

Ghost : this is not the first time ghost has met you and he fear wouldn’t be the last. The first time you guys met was when you were a normal cadets and he was a LT in training, you had been assigned to his task force “group” called the '47 flyers.' Or the flyers for short. You had been one of the hardest smart assed mouth cadets he was to this day even worked with, constantly putting in your opinion in final orders or strategies or going rouge on a mission or a house sweep. Though those things did help and/or made the missions carry out easier, you were still a smart ass. The second time you guys met is now when you became the 141 therapist, ghost does give you your credits when it’s due like you have matured and the smart assness of your mouth has toned down a lot. He prays to and thanks whatever or whoever fixed you and your smart ass mouth.

Shadow company

Graves : smart ass moth southern boy, it’s giving he needs young coochie with how he’s acting. Definitely flirting and when you just sit there like dude I’m like 20 and ur probably way over 20, bro laughs and says with a straight ass face “it’s still legal Im gonna make you howel like a beagle” you look at him and walk out of ur own office. It’s giving whistle with josh, grave probably has one of those slide show videos with extra brightness and lots of exposure to the old Apple slide show music…he keeps it hidden and locked up it’s his deepest fear that some one will find it and he will never love that down.

We rejoin the gang exactly where we left off, reeling from the revelation that Cyclase Mayer -- who everyone firmly agrees is a Right Bastard -- has been hired by Okina Uroka to lead the Issue Family forces. This is clearly not good news

Currently having a Gjallarhorn officer at their mercy, they demand to know more details about this unexpected development, leading us into an extended flashback.

Three days ago, Cyclase arrives for a meeting with Lord Okina aboard the Issue Family Skipjack-class ship. He is a mite surprised to have been invited -- surely the Issue Family has other people it could rely on?

Okina rebukes him for sarcasm and Cyclase more seriously summarises the current state of play: since Carta and most of her inner circle were killed, the Fareed Family took over the Outer Earth Orbit Regulatory Joint Fleet, leaving the Issues short of manpower. Again, Okina is not happy with his position's weakness being pointed out, but he assumes Cyclase being here means the man has agreed to his offer?

Cyclase confirms this is the case and asks what exactly Okina needs him to do?

Below-decks, Tagging and Bana Kousa are waiting around for Cyclase to be done, which Tagging finds exactly as boring as being stuck back at Omden HQ. She complains Bana's silent reading is making the room feel empty.

Fortunately, that's the point Cyclase comes back. He initially ignores his guides' welcome but at Tagging's prompting, explains he's heading out for a job. She demands to know if he'll be leaving them behind again and he asks if there'd be any point bringing them. Tagging claims she's a good mobile suit pilot while Bana states she has skills related to commanding a ship.

However, Bana also wants to know if this mission is connected to the Urdr Hunt, since they are there purely to be Cyclase's guides. He says it is is 'somewhat related' to the Hunt and she'll see if she comes along. The Issues want him to pick up their princess for them . . .

We switch over to a virtually identical room aboard Londo Bron's Halfbreak, where he and Katya are continuing their conversation about the current situation vis a vis the Issue Family. Katya asks what Okina is like and Bron explains the Uroka family has served the Issues since the Calamity War (so possibly a similar situation to the Jizins being closely aligned with the Nadiras in the manga; does that mean the Urokas also claim ownership of one of the Valkyrja frames?).

Katya muses that someone like that must be very serious about tradition and bloodlines, so she can't see why he'd be eager to make a bastard like her heir. Bron admits Okina is planning for her to be a mere decoration -- a mistake Bron intends to correct. He's approached Okina asking for a meeting to discuss the future of the family, but they haven't heard anything yet.

On cue, a flunky pops in to tell Bron that Cyclase's unit is approaching under orders to collect Katya. She understandably flinches on hearing Cyclase's name and Bron is also sure he knows it from somewhere. The flunky states further investigation has revealed Cyclase as a deserter who killed his superior before fleeing.

Bron . . . does not take this particularly well. Infuriated that Okina would trust Issues forces to a known criminal, he says his troops will be Katya's envoy and promises to protect her even if it costs him his life.

Cyclase is utterly unsurprised by Bron's refusal to hand over Katya and heads out with his mobile suit forces. On the way to the hangar, Bana asks permission for Tagging to launch as well, which Cyclase grants. He'll use this to test her usefulness.

Bron, meanwhile, estimates he's outnumbered three to one and determines they need to get while the getting's good. Katya joins him on the bridge, telling him he can't beat Cyclase. Is Bron still going to protect her? He replies that he'd kill Cyclase to prove it, if she wanted, and orders his troops into the fray.

Katya seems to take this moment as a firm break with Wistario, as she watches the mobile suits launch.

Bron takes his Graze Ritter out first, which seems to surprise Cyclase: he expected an immediate attempt to retreat. Bron must be stupid -- or perhaps stronger than expected, as the Ritter takes out two standard Issue Grazes with a single swing of its axe.

Cyclase manages to block a blow from Bron with the bayonets on his guns, noting that the other man is a good fighter. Bron does not return the compliment, determined to take the head of a murderer.

He's equally unimpressed with the information Cyclase is here on Okina's orders: Okina is clearly no longer qualified to act as the Issue Family's retainer. The two continue to fight for a while, but it's rapidly clear Cyclase isn't bothered about defeating Bron one-on-one -- which the captain realises, to his shock, is because he's been distracted.

Tagging approaches the Bron-faction ship in -- of all things -- a space-type Geirail Scharfrichter armed with a bazooka-like cannon (the same kind initially used by Tekkadan's Graze Custom). Her first volley is stopped by the ship's guns, but they aren't quick enough to hit her 'suit and she gets off another shot. This time, Bron's mobile suit forces intercept her, and it turns out that Tagging really is a good pilot. Defeating them, she turns her attention back to the ship, ordering the crew to hand Katya over or she'll put a hole in their hull.

Luckily, Bron races to the rescue and is able to drive Tagging off, allowing the ship to retreat.

Cyclase remains unbothered. Somebody rebelling against Okina will not have anywhere to resupply. For the moment, he simply orders his troops to keep track of Bron's Halfbeak.

Bron returns to his bridge to find Katya has returned to her room, and feels he has betrayed her expectations.

His subordinates ask where they should go next and are shocked by his order to head for the 'sanctuary of the Issue Family'. They are forbidden to enter 'his domain' after all.

But if they are to fight Okina, they need supplies and this place will provide that. And maybe if Bron had 'that machine' . . . ? Bron believes this is the only decision he can make to fulfil Katya's wishes. Besides, she is the rightful heir: with her on their side, they needn't worry!

This is the end of the flashback and we return to the Erda II, with Wistario asking the Gjallarhorn officer where Katya is now. But he really doesn't know. Korunaru concurs that the logs show Bron's ship disappearing off the Ariadne Network some time ago.

However, they *do* know where Cyclase's ship is, via the Issue Family's datalink. So perhaps if they track him, they can find Katya too. Demner agrees it's their only lead at the moment.

Both 598 and Mendou ask to come along, and as everybody troops out to make preparations (and presumably return their captive to his ship), Range lingers behind, dwelling on crossing paths with Cyclase once more . . .

Over in Okina's inner sanctum, the man himself is being chewed out for failure. Via a long-range call, he protests things are progressing according to plan: without a place to resupply, Bron's forces will not be able to hold out. Okina retorts that Cyclase doesn't know where Bron is going -- he's heading for a place known only to the Issues, where he will be able to restock after all.

Cyclase acts surprised by this revelation and admits the 'error'. Okina reiterates he absolutely must kill Bron and bring him Katya.

On the bridge of Cyclase's Halfbeak, Tagging and Bana are slightly taken aback by the sight of our resident maroon-haired misanthrope chuckling to himself. He really didn't think it would be this easy to reach Ratatoskr.

Clearly, all this is has been a ruse: Bron has been driven into giving Cyclase the excuse to go where he wanted to all along. He cheerfully tells his guides that he's found the next point in the Urdr Hunt.

For the mandated teenager drama segment of this episode we switch to the Erda II's mobile suit bay, where Korunaru is pressing a sleepless Wistario to some calming tea.

They sit on Hajiroboshi's crest and chat, Wiz apologising for having thrown aside the Urdr Hunt in order to chase Bron. His guide is fine with this, however, equally eager to rescue their friend. And they haven't lost. They can get back to it once they've saved Katya.

Wistario then hands Korunaru his competitor's ring, asking her to hold on to it until he can resume the Hunt. She is initially shocked at him giving her something so precious but agrees.

Upstairs, Range chastises Demner, Dexter and Sinister for eavesdropping via the internal comms. Dexter points out Range isn't leaving either, while Demner protests concern about his charge not getting enough rest.

Range admits he's been out of it too, since hearing Cyclase is back. He can't get Andy and Bito out of his head. If he ends up face-to-face with Cyclase, he doubts he'll be able to control his need to avenge his friends.

Demner says that while he respects Range's right to do so, he expects Wistario will object. Range agrees, musing that he doesn't really understand the kid. But he's gotten to believing that a dream dreamt by someone like Wistario would be worth seeing come true. Even so, he has to settle things with Cyclase first.

Well, Demner concludes, just so long as he doesn't die in the process. They need Range as a member of the Venus workforce in the future. Plus Range dying would make Wistario sad.

Range promises he won't die, and won't let anyone else die either. They've all got to get their unfinished business out of the way to move forward.

On this note, the Erda II catches up with Cyclase's ship and Wistario and Korunaru rush to the bridge to be confronted with the sight of lightning in space, striking some kind of stream of energy beaming in an endless line into the void.

Slice and Mendou appear to have some idea of what's up, referring to it directly as Ratatoskr (which I should have mentioned is the squirrel that runs around the world-tree in Norse mythology and also the emblem of House Issue). Mendou wonders if he, Cyclase and the others were always destined to come here, from the moment they joined the Hunt.

In any case, with Katya somewhere within this strange phenomenon, Wistario is determined to get her back no matter what.

Well. It remains to be seen if Cyclase's meta-gaming is really skipping ahead in the Urdr Hunt sequence or if this is all just an excuse to get his grubby mits on the mobile armour universal remote. Either way, we are heading into the hitherto unseen heart of the Issue Family's power and though it isn't surprising the first among the Seven Stars would be privy to interesting secrets from the Calamity War, the visuals so far are of a different order to IBO's normal level of sci-fi.

While the ionisation effects (??) might bring to mind Gundam: Thunderbolt, the giant energy stream is a far cry from a region of smashed-up colony debris. The latter would actually be more expected for IBO's setting, whereas this seems like the sudden introduction of an unusually fantastical element.

Urdr Hunt already gave us a legitimate megastructure with Radonitsa Colony's visible space elevator tethering it to the surface of Venus. That was just a background detail however; Ratatoskr is clearly going to be a big deal. As a 'sanctuary', there is presumably something solid in there somewhere -- and quite possibly, given the unsubtle hints dropped by Bron and co, the Issue Family's Gundam frame (I did wonder if we'd see an enemy Gundam show up at some point).

As to the references to 'his domain' . . . that is rather curious. Both Bron's flunky and Okina refer to it in this manner. Do they mean the first Lord Issue? The *current* Lord Issue? Or someone, something, else? We don't have outright confirmation this is the 'secret Seven Stars area' that Cyclase is after but if it is . . . oh boy.

Also, Range, mate, will you put a sock in the heartfelt promises not to die? We've all seen IBO-proper! We know how this goes! Jeepers, as if I wasn't already frantically worried about 598, now I have to fret over your poncho-wearing mug too? Gah!

That said, I did like Tagging turning out to be the kind of mobile suit pilot who licks her lips on being presented with a tough fight. That's a slightly unexpected twist, as is her machine of choice. I've never thought much of this design but it looks pretty damn spiffy in these colours and decked out for space combat.

Summary:

My Stiles/Jackson series called "All I Saw Was You" starts 14 years after the end of season 2 which is what I call the "present". At the same time, you also find out what happened in the "past" and what happens in the "future". This timeline establishes an order of the chapters throughout the years but personally, I recommend to read it in the order in which is posted on AO3. 

* This timeline will be updated when I post more parts.

* I’m posting it here to link it on the description of my series and delete it from AO3, so it needs to edited another day after deleting 3 chapters like this one that were not “stories”. I can’t risk losing my account or having it frozen again for something like this.

* I love to know what people think of the story, the OCs, the voices, etc... so feedback is very welcome and always cheers me up. I reply as soon as I can.

Notes:

I never expected to write this timeline and that's why I had not done it in six years—Because I still think that it's better to read the story as it's been posted, but Aceadams asked me last month if I had done one and I remembered that Wam6996 had also asked me about it a lot of time ago... so I started to think about it as a way to establish a sort of layout of the story in a more visual way (not as a reading order although people are free to read it as they wish/prefer), and finally, I was like "okay, why not?" So, I decided to write it down.

This has taken some time to finish, so it'd be nice to know if it's useful for anybody... because I also thought that, apart from those two people, maybe nobody would care about it.

Bomb Threats Rattle Metro Manila and Luzon Offices, Schools

It is known that an email from a certain Takahiro Karasawa, who claims to be a Japanese lawyer, stated that there are allegedly "high-performance bombs" set in Philippine government facilities, scheduled to detonate at exactly 3:34 PM yesterday

Japanese Lawyer Identified as Sole Source of Bomb Threats

Yesterday, at least seven government offices and two schools in Metro Manila, Bataan, and Zambales had operational disruptions due to bomb threats received via email and text messages. This was a startling turn of events.

The person posing as Takahiro Karasawa, a Japanese lawyer, is suspected of being the mastermind behind this recent flurry of threats. This is not the first time Karasawa has targeted government institutions.

The Philippine National Police (PNP) revealed that the same suspect was responsible for similar bomb threats in September and October of the previous year. Col. Jean Fajardo, Chief of the PNP Public Information Office, pointed out the concerning consistency in the delivery of threats through the same email address.

The list of targeted establishments reads like a roster of key government offices: the National Housing Authority, Commission on Audit, Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Philippine Competition Commission, Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management (PSALM), Department of Science and Technology in Bicutan, Taguig, Insurance Commission in Ermita, Manila, Panghulo Elementary School in Malabon, Pasig Elementary School in Barangay San Nicolas, and the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).

Wow it's nearly three years since this post so here's how thats going:

I still use keep notes pretty much daily. A timed morning routine depending on what time i start work. Christmas gift ideas. Shopping lists. Tracking my bipolar episodes. What needs cleaning. I will still vouch for keep notes!

Ive stopped using facecloths. Keeping up with maintaining them wasn't fairing well with executive dysfunction, so i use my hands or disposable wipes or those little circular wipes with micellar water for make-up

I have not used a post-it note since i started using keep notes for everything. I also live with other people, so leaving notes around the house wasn't great

I currently do 'daily' chores twice a week at best. Showers, laundry, washing up, keeping a bedroom tidy. My personal bin gets emptied once a month (there's no food waste or perishables in there, its just nonrecyclables) and the bedding gets changed every six weeks at best

I still keep a stick of gum in my bag and i have one of those jar/tubs in my room for whenever. Find your flavour tho, it really helps

Lists holy shit i think i have a list for everything there could ever be a list for. Keep using lists. There's nothing too silly to use a list for.

Yes keep things in your bag. Not a coat pocket, not on the side, not by the front door. In the bag.

I still have the same briefcase!! My only note is that you need to declutter it every so often. You do not need to keep every payslip from that job you had two years ago. At best keep your first and last payslip and your p45 and p60s. There's no point if its full of clutter, you wont be able to find anything.

Ive learned a few more things since too btw:

Develop routines. Especially physical ones. Put your clothes on in the same order, do the washing up a certain way, make your coffee a certain way, and trust your muscle memory: if it suddenly feels different then you've forgotten something

Allow for rest! Currently i have half a day two times a week. You can focus on tasks a lot better after looking after yourself. I dont mean rot in bed in all your spare time (unless of course thats what works for you) but do a little bit of skincare, exfoliate in the shower, sing, move about, exercise if you are ready and able to.

And just some general things i learned after aging from 18 to 21, unrelated to adhd:

No one cares. No one cars about the stain on the side of your shirt. No one cares that your hair is frizzy. No one cares that you stepped slightly funky in the street. If it bothers *you*? Change it. But dont worry about anyone outside shunning you for anything small like that.

Social anxiety? Work in customer service for a year. I'm not too worried about ordering face-to-face in a cafe because i know from experience that no order is too horrible for staff unless its like 8 drinks or more. I know that no question is too stupid because they're not gonna laugh or hate you for it, they're gonna answer the question and forget about it by the end of the day, hell even the next customer might ask the same thing. Still nerve-wracking, sure, as everything will probably continue to be, but its easier and the year passes by so quickly and it helps you develop and mature

In the few months since I've realised I have adhd, I've gathered some tips that helped me//mistakes I learned from. So they're probably useful to other people, adhd or not!

Get the app Keep Notes!! It's a google app, so it should be on both android and ios. It's more useful than the normal notes app, because you can set reminders to go off at a location!! Wanna remember something when you go to parents, the shop, work, when you get home?? Type in the address and it'll go off when you get there.

Keep a separate face cloth for washing off make up!! I have three face cloths in my bathroom that I keep thinking has mold on when it's actually eyeliner or mascara. Use just one instead of ruining multiple for yourself 😅

Get many patterned post-it notes!! A friend used to gift me stationary sets and now the books of post-its come in handy for leaving myself notes around the house. I use different ones each time so my brain doesn't just let it blend in.

If you can, don't do things daily!! I find exhausting doing the same thing every day. Leave plates in the sink for a day, load the washing machine in one go at the end of the week instead of bit by bit. A common nd/chronic illness metaphor is the spoons one - the more spoons (activities/chores) they use, the more exhausted they feel. Narrowing down the amount of spoons you use might make you feel a bit better!

Keep gum on you!! Particularly if you're a sensory person! Mouth uncomfortable after a bad-textured meal? Gum. Need to chew stim? Gum. Someone's bad breath irritating you? Ask them if that gum tastes funky to politely give them some without pointing it out

Lists!! Shopping lists, wish list, search history list, all very useful surprisingly often!! Especially if you're forgetful

For the love of all things good, don't take things out of your bag!! Keep your keys in there, your wallet/purse, your ID, your mask, lip balm, everything. Again, if you're as forgetful as me, you'll forget to put it back in until you need it.

On a similar note, keep a briefcase of important things!! If not a briefcase, stationary drawers do the same!! By important things I mean bank statements, payslips, educational certificates, proof of any name changes, a second ID (because sometimes things ask for two for some reason. I have my passport and birth certificate)

Loki spent the rest of the night at your apartment which wasn’t long considering you left in the middle of the night to get Bucky so between that and the two rounds of sex, there wasn’t much time left until sunup. You spent most of the night tossing and turning, evaluating your emotions. When you told Loki you hated him, you wanted to, you had to, but you couldn’t and that’s what you hated the most. You loved Loki. You loved him. According to Noah, you were even calling out for him that whole night. You vaguely remember telling him you loved Loki. The drunken words that fall carelessly from intoxicated lips are often the truth.

A notification sound on your phone caused you to turn away from the sleeping god and pick it up.

Yawning, you stretched as you leisurely got out of bed. The movement woke Loki who sat up to look at you as you made your way to the door.

“What’s the matter?” He asked in a raspy morning voice making you want to just turn back and mount him.

“Steve wants us at work” you laughed before your eyes widened in alarm remembering exactly what had happened. “Ah shit.”

“We disobeyed teams orders, killed a guy and lost Bucky” you said turning around and frantically getting changed out of your pyjamas.

“He deserved it” Loki huffed standing up as well.

Turning towards him, your heart skipped a beat taking in how handsome he was. You wanted nothing more than to just strap him to the bed and ride him so hard that you’ll have to take out car insurance. You wanted him to go down on you so mercilessly that he’d need armbands to prevent himself from completing drowning in your c—

“Y/N? Are you alright?” Loki asked breaking you from your thoughts.

Nodding, you smiled before walking to the bathroom to quickly brush your teeth and wash your face after awkwardly sitting on the toilet for what felt like a millennia emptying your bladder.

Once you were both ready, Loki teleported you both to the compound. Walking towards the briefing room, you were greeted by unimpressed faces and a smiling Thor who was looking at you and Loki entering with an excited expression.

“Morning” you coughed trying to break through the thick tension filled atmosphere.

Turning fully towards you as you sat down, Tony began to speak.

“So let me get this straight, you went on a suicide mission, managed to survive, saw Bucky and couldn’t bring him back.”

“How did you even know?” You asked generally confused whilst Loki replied with an exaggerated “eeexactlyyy.”

“Not good enough” Tony stated turning around putting his back to you.

“Nothings ever good enough for you” you scoffed.

“NO Y/N!” He shouted turning back to face you as you jumped completely startled by his outburst. “What you did was irresponsible and careless. You’ve cost us the mission.”

“Have care how you speak” Loki snarled stepping closer to Tony.

“Loki it’s fine” you muttered stopping his movements with your arm.

“No y/n it’s not” Loki said looking at you before turning to the rest of the group. “All she did was what you were all too cowardice to do” he spat “she tried to rescue her teammate.”

“Boyfriend” Natasha corrected.

“No” Thor added defensively looking at Natasha causing her brows to furrow.

“You broke up?” She questioned looking towards you.

“Ages ago” Thor scoffed.

“But you were together just like two weeks ago”

“And now they’re—”

“Thanks Thor” you said lowering your brows at Thor before looking at Natasha “now we’re not”

“CAN EVERYONE JUST BE QUIET!” Tony snapped.

“Sorry” you mouthed as he carried on talking.

“Look, it’s been confirmed that Bucky has been compromised. There isn’t much we can do now.”

“WHAT?! That’s ridiculous, surely you’re joking” you huffed.

“We can’t focus all of our attention on assembling the avengers to save one man when there are other conflicts going on” Tony explained as you rolled your eyes in annoyance, crossing your arms.

“What is it you don’t understand? Bucky is one of us we have to get him back plus he recognised me Tony, he would have killed me if he didn’t but he let me go, that must count for something” you pleaded.

“You’re just feeling guilty that he traded places with you” Tony said under his breath.

“I warned you” Loki growled unsheathing a dagger you didn’t know he had and lunging at Tony.

Thor was quick to stop Loki’s attack and you raised an eyebrow at him causing him to narrow his gaze at you, a gesture you returned. That constant recognition of each others thoughts came into action as Loki backed off.

“Tony, that was a step too far” you said standing up as recognition painted his his features and he reached out to apologise but was met by your back when you turned to exit.

Entering the kitchen, you rummaged through the fridge taking out a random mix of food before trying to shove it all between some bread. Walking in, Loki couldn’t contain his smile as you furrowed your brows and slightly lowered your stance in concentration.

“Fucking Tony Stark” you mumbled cutting the mystery sandwich.

“You haven’t done anything wrong” Loki assured handing you a plate.

“Then why do I feel so guilty?” You questioned placing the sandwich on the plate that was still in Loki’s hands. “What Tony said was right, it’s my fault.”

“Y/N, come here” Loki smiled putting the plate down and holding his arms open. Walking towards him, you reached for the plate and picked up half of the sandwich. When you moved it towards your mouth, half of the insides fell onto the floor causing you to step back with a gasp.

“It’s DEAD” you exasperated covering your mouth with your hand.

“Dead?” Loki asked.

“Look at it-it’s dead and splattered on the dirty floor and I’m still hungry” you whined as your voice began to break “and I’m crying, I’m crying because of a silly sandwich” you laughed wiping your tears away whilst Loki observed you with a perplexed expression.

“Strange” he commented running a hand through his hair.
