I'm in the middle of a knitting project right fucking now, and I'm already looking at other projects to do. I'm not even close to finishing the current project and I'm looking at like three others. It's a real problem
#so the thing is i really like to knit as gifts (the project im on right now is a christmas gift for my sibling)#so i like to think of knitting projects i could do as gifts for upcoming holidays and such#but also i like cool things#so im looking at this bat cape for myself#i dont even have an occasion to wear a cape. and even crazier-#im trying to figure out how to make my own patterns. so i can knit a tapestry/blanket thing. of a fictional map from a ttrpg#im playing a ttrpg rn and i have become obsessed#and im painting the map onto a clipboard (it takes place at a summer camp and summer camp map on a clipboard makes sense)#but apparently thats not enough for me. because i want it as a full tapestry or blanket#but because it was created in my girlfriend's head (shes the gm) it doesnt exist as a pattern online#so i have to figure out how to make it come to life#thats way beyond my skillset. ive been knitting since 2019 and i only figured out the purl stitch in the last like year#i recently learned double knitting which has been fun. and thats as complex as my knitting knowledge gets#i knitted a nice shawl once. that and the double knitting is where it ends for me#so of course im trying to figure out colorwork for a map#idek where to start with that one. if you know then please lmk#it has like three colors and thats one more color than im used to#i lied maybe four. maybe five. okay so theres green for land. blue for the lake. black for buildings and roads#then like beige or gray for a bit of cliffs. and there's also a shipwreck that i would have to figure out#if that helps you help me then please let me know cuz i really want to do this project#im super passionate about this game and the campaign and i love knitting. i would love to do something with it related to knitting#there are two really good artists in the party that share their amazing art#one of them made a much better map than my painted one that i havent finished. so i think it would be so funny to swing in with a#knitted tapestry or something. and because its a colorwork blanket it will be years down the road. but there are such nice drawings#and then me coming in with a knitted map. thatd be so fun#anyway i went on a ramble in here. i should go work on the current knitting project i have

Career advancement through computer science camps
Computer science camps can be very helpful for anyone interested in technology, regardless of the particular field. One of the best reasons to sign up for a camp and master computer science over the summer is if you plan to enroll in an AP Computer Science program at your high school. It is a smart move to enroll in AP classes because they significantly improve your college applications. If they do well on the official exam (if there is one) that follows the course, students who attend such intensive camps also have a fantastic chance of being considered for lucrative internships or scholarships with well-known tech companies like Google or even Amazon.
Excellent AP exam results can also lead to other fascinating internship opportunities. Students who aspire to acquire an MBA, land prominent internship positions, or enroll in particular IT or software engineering schools will undoubtedly have an advantage over the rest of their peers. Students at the work with mentor engineers or business professionals to obtain even more insight into the inner workings of the company. Students who receive basic computer science education early are also better suited for profitable careers once they are ready to enter the industry. Computer scientists are widely used in the field of cybersecurity. These days, jobs in this specialized industry can be rather lucrative. If you're interested in artificial intelligence (AI), a computer science summer camp can help you prepare for future study as well as a career in that specialized field. Data science occupations are on the rise as more and more individuals realize they cannot analyze the vast amounts of information and data being produced today. During the best summer tech camp, you might also gain a greater understanding of data science.
High school students now have a variety of summer programs to pick from to accommodate their various academic and timetable needs by merely doing a search for online summer courses in tech or tech day camps.

Okay so someone shared this link on the server for the Chronicles of Darkness game I've been running since 2020 and I looked at the link and went 'yeah right' and then I read the article and went 'hunh' and then I watched the first three episodes of 'Knuckles,' which didn't take long because each episode is about half an hour long, and actually I fucking cried my eyes out at the big fight that is referenced because like... it's ... good, actually?
The show is very silly, and a lot of the humor is very childish, which makes a lot of sense, right, because it's about a fucking video game, but, at least so far, it's an extremely sincere show.
The siblings in this show act like highly exaggerated siblings. Of course adults wouldn't act like this, but it doesn't matter, because that's not really who the show is for. The show is for kids. It's goofy. The heart of sibling rivalry is there. The heart of hurting over a parent who abandoned you is there. The heart of a parent missing a family tradition is there.
The jokes that are made are made with love for Jewishness. Whoever made the food jokes has eaten a lot of gefilte fish and matzoh ball soup. Whoever wrote the episode understands how important it is that nothing puts out the Shabbat candles. Whoever wrote the episode understands the importance of minhagim -- the traditions that are unique to your family, to your synagogue, whatever.
Clearly they're not shomer Shabbos because their traditions include watching movies after Shabbat dinner, but that's not presented as them being Bad Jews -- it's just their family tradition, and that's just how it is.
Mom's bracha for the candles has the 'Adenoy' pronunciation which is so very New York Older Ashkenazi Jewish that it made my heart ache and made me powerfully homesick for the East Coast, since so many of the older people at my old shul used that specific pronunciation.
The fact that they literally centered a pair of Shabbas candles (with what are clearly kosher candles burning!!) in the fight, and the entire fight revolves around those candles? It just hit me right in the middle of the chest.
There's a difference between a show being silly and a show being insincere, and Knuckles is silly but it's not insincere. I will fully admit that I watched the first three episodes to get to the episode entitled The Shabbat Dinner, but you know... I might just finish the series? It's got heart, and all of the actors are clearly having such a good time. It's one of those projects that I refer to as a Summer Camp Show/Movie, where everybody's getting a nice paycheck and having a very good time and not taking themselves too seriously.
Plus, Christopher Lloyd made me laugh until I choked.

Do you have fic recs for cherik exes to lovers?
Saved the best for last, Anon - exes to lovers is my absolute FAVOURITE trope!
These are some of my personal favourites; I hope you enjoy :D :D :D
symphysis by ikeracity
After Charles and Erik broke up four months ago, Charles convinced himself he'd never see Erik again. But life has a funny way of bringing people back together.
it was a yellow umbrella spring by ikeracity (series - read part 1 first!)
Three years after Charles left for Oxford, Erik discovers that Charles is coming back to New York.
Second chances are wonderful things.
Lean On Me by SpiritsFlame
Ten years ago, Charles and Erik split up, dividing their six kids between them. None of them expect them to meet at summer camp. And no one could have predicted the results.
preheat to 350 (just for you remix) by ikeracity
Charles realizes he's in love with Erik. But there's one tiny little problem: he just broke up with Erik.
Repeat Offenses by populuxe
“Prickly bits aside—hell, for the two of them, prickly bits included—it almost felt like a date. Which is stupid on multiple fronts. Grudgingly buying your ex a meal after he grudgingly bails you out of jail is obviously not a date.”
Five times Charles bailed Erik out of jail—and one time he didn’t.
melt your headaches, call it home by joshriku
Two decades later after the last time he saw Charles Xavier, Erik's children lead him right back to him.
Of course, it's never easy to look at the ex love of your life and realize you're not over them, not even in the slightest.
my heart knows your name by borninsideatornado
Once they’ve finally got him in bed, Charles works up the courage to ask if he might stay for a few days, because being rejected can’t be worse than seeing Erik in pain. But Erik only says, “I think that would be good.”
The Way I See You by kianspo
Charles is an FBI agent working white collar crimes, specializing in art theft. Erik is a master forger. It's all well and good, except no one knows that Charles and Erik used to be in love once upon a time. Years later, they meet again.
my heart knows your name by borninsideatornado
Once they’ve finally got him in bed, Charles works up the courage to ask if he might stay for a few days, because being rejected can’t be worse than seeing Erik in pain. But Erik only says, “I think that would be good.”
to put the world between us by populuxe
Erik Lehnsherr is one of the hottest actors in Hollywood: fresh off an Academy Award nomination, he’s about to star in HBO’s most anticipated show of the year. And even though online chatter about his recent string of queer roles keeps getting louder, his personal life remains personal—just as it always has, and just as his manager and publicist continue to advise.
But when he winds up at the same wedding as his college best friend, Charles Xavier—and when they quickly fall into bed together—he’s forced to revisit the past he’s been trying to get away from for years. The pull between them has always been magnetic, but so has the weight of secrecy. Can they keep from repeating the same mistakes, or will the price of the truth be too high?
Walking in a Winter Wonderland by TurtleTotem
Charles hasn't seen Erik since their devastating breakup ten years ago. He's certainly the last person he expects to run into at a Christmas lights display.
Old Flame Burning by TurtleTotem
It's ridiculous for Charles to dread meeting the best man at his sister's wedding, just because he shares a name with Charles's ex. It's not as though it could possibly be the same Erik.
The Edge of What Doesn’t End by populuxe
When a mysterious object appears on the moon, Moira MacTaggert calls in two experts with very specific mutations to investigate.
Unfortunately for everyone involved, after years of breaking up and getting back together again, those two experts have finally broken up for good—and they’re the last people in the world who should be stuck together on a spaceship.
I need sleep like I need oxygen (I'm not admitting to missing you like crazy) by ximeria
Erik needs sleep, but since he and Charles broke up, he's not been able to get a good night's sleep.
December, Take Two by Anonymous
Charles has no problem being in the same room as his ex at Emma's holiday party. They're adults, after all.
We have not touched the stars, nor are we forgiven (the things you love don't last remix) by hllfire
Charles hands Erik the signed divorce papers, but Erik has changed his mind. Too late, it seems. All he can do is go forward with the divorce. A year later, Charles comes back, and Erik can't help but wanting to see him. The only problem is things don't go like Erik had planned.
Spy Games by manic_intent
Prompt: Burn Notice AU, with Erik Lehnsherr as the spy and Charles as the trigger-happy ex boyfriend. Erik is burned for unknown reasons in Mexico and wakes up in New York City. Somehow, he needs to raise $500,000, in order to find out -why-.
Best Ex Ever by 1sttimefeeling
Charles wakes up drunk on the pavement of a gas station, phone dead. He finds a payphone but can only remember one number. Erik Lehnsherr's.
The problem? They broke up two years ago.
Twice in One Lifetime by Gerec
Written for this prompt: Charles and his fiance Steve, are happily waiting for their first baby. What they are not expecting is the baby to arrive almost a month earlier and looking like a miniature copy of Charles' ex-boyfriend Erik.
It takes them a lifetime to get it right.
Years Falling Like Grains Of Sand by clarasteam
Seven years after they met and parted, Charles and Erik meet again in the most unlikely place.
Every Song I Know by clarasteam
“Erik,” Janos says wearily, “you had amazing sex with this guy. He obviously really likes you. You have, what, a month, six weeks left? You can spend it moping and hiding and worrying you're going to run into him. Or you can call him, have a good time, and figure out where you go from there.”
Erik groans. It's what he wants to do, so much it scares him.
Talk, Baby, Talk by lyonet
“Enough,” Erik said furiously. “It’s over. Let it die.”
“Be fair, sugar,” Emma said. “We made good music. It was your choice to wear magenta armour and a cape.”
Carry Me Anew (Frost & Darkholme Remix) by kianspo
While working as a model for Raven and Emma's clothing line, Erik experiences a strong attraction to his shoot partner. These things happen, except Erik has a boyfriend, who does not take this at all well.
+
linger like a tattoo kiss by ikeracity
Six months apart gives Erik a lot of time to think about what he really wants.
An absence which could not be more there by aesc
He prepared to shift another half-step over to the Current Events section (which would, of course, enrage him) when the teaser positioned by the model's left elbow caught his eye: DATING WHILE TELEPATHIC: WHY I DON'T DO IT.
Salem Center Mass by listerinezero
Erik Lehnsherr is a professional hitman and has no intention of attending his ten year high school reunion. But since he happens to have a kill lined up in the same town at the same time, he decides he may as well stop by. After all, his high school sweetheart, Charles Xavier, might be there. And it's not like he's spent the past ten years pining over Charles. Not at all.
Three wheels of cheese and a Great White by ximeria
Charles and Erik were friends with benefits in college.
They went their separate ways and 18 years later, they run into each other in New York.
The sex was never a problem back in college - and sex was all it had been. But now Erik is a divorced father and Charles has admitted to himself he needs more than just sex in a relationship. So in their usual round-about way they try to navigate becoming friends after so many years. The whole quest is aided by Raven, Edie, Wanda and Pietro (and a large number of shark jokes).

iwaizumi and oikawa, a year and a half into their first true separation. iwaizumi in america, and oikawa in argentina. you see, they’ve had this thing going on since they were young children, when iwaizumi went to a sleep-away summer camp and the only way oikawa could talk to him was through letters. they got into the habit of writing over-the-top, fancy, kamakura-period type letters. since moving away from each other, it’s only gotten more intense.
less of a joke, really. they text each other often, but the letters - there is something about it, to oikawa. when he writes his letters, he fills it with love and adoration that he never conveys in his text message. he kisses the page before he folds it, right on the edges where he expects iwaizumi to grip the paper. oikawa has never told iwaizumi his affections, so he knows this is as close as he will ever get.
both of them already had a somewhat strong grasp on the english language during high school, but since moving to the americas, oikawa has become much better with alphabet and has learned quite a bit of english grammar by proxy of studying spanish AND receiving iwaizumi’s letters. iwaizumi has become far better at the language, pretty much fluent on survival alone.
so, it happens on a normal tuesday afternoon. oikawa gets back from practice to check his p.o. box, since he’s expecting an online delivery. he finds the package, but also an envelope with his name carefully penned in the english alphabet. he smiles, carefully holding it so he doesn’t crease any of lines.
he settles into a chair, his heart pounding as he opens the letter. it’s entirely in english, as he’s expected. his letters to iwaizumi are mostly in spanish; though, sometimes, he sends them in japanese. if just to remind himself of home.
it doesn’t take him long to find it. he reads it, the first line of the letter, over and over again. his name, written with a “dearest” before it, as per usual. that’s how they wrote to each other, after all. formal, overly-so. but he stops, and he reads it again and again until he’s sure he’s burned the image into his retinas.
iwaizumi has written: “My Dearest, Oikawa Tooru.”
not, “my dearest oikawa”, but, “my dearest,”. his dearest, of all.
so how long did your Hamilton an American Musical phase last?
---
“Dearest,” Iwaizumi says, coming around the corner to lower the mug of tea over Oikawa’s shoulder, down into his hands from behind him on the couch. Oikawa looks up as he does, having clearly been surprised to hear him come in. “What are you looking at?”
Oikawa smiles for him, thanking him softly for the tea before setting it aside and showing him the torn, messy line paper from their early years. Long before the love, the marriage, long before the life together settled down. Iwaizumi recognizes the words immediately - their his own, from an era that seemed like it was yesterday, despite it being barely a memory now. “Just some memories.”
“Those stupid things?” Iwa grumbles, leaning over his shoulder to read his old, embarrassing writing. “Christ, that one was like… before you moved to Argentina, you’ve really dug them up… wait, did you keep all of them?”
“Of course I did,” Oikawa replies. “As many as I could, at least. Some got damaged, or lost… But they’re the reason we’re together now, so… I couldn’t bear to throw them away.”
“What? What do you mean?”
Oikawa smiles, as if excited that he’s finally asked, and reaches to take an envelope that is far more carefully preserved, opening it delicately to slide the paper out. This one, written in English, from Iwaizumi in his university years. Oikawa carefully runs a finger across the ink, and points out the opening line.
“My Dearest, Oikawa,” Oikawa reads out loud. “You still call me that. If you hadn’t chosen to switch the placement of the comma, I never would have had the courage to confess how I’d been feeling to you. I had always thought that your… dearest joke was just because we were pretending it was the eighteen hundreds. But that… change, just…”
“Oh,” Iwa says, leaning in closer to look at the letter. “Well, now that you mention it, that is very incriminating of me. Must have been a Freudian slip.”
“...excuse me?”
“Yeah, I… had no memory of writing that like that, at least, not intentionally. The dearest think had just always made you giggle, so-”
“Wait wait wait wait-” Oikawa says, sitting up suddenly and turning to face him. “You’re saying our relationship is built on a lie? I took this letter as a hint from you that you’d felt the same about me! That you meant what you said - Oh my God, I wrote you a love letter immediately afterwards - we got together because of this letter and it was an accident all along? Ah! Pedro told me it was probably just a mistake and I told him that no, you wouldn’t do that and I-”
“Hey, hey, Tooru-” Iwa laughs, leaning forward to take him by the face, stilling his racing tongue. “Like I said, a Fruedian slip. It is how I felt, you are my dearest, you know you are, that’s why I still use it-”
“But it’s not real! Our whole relationship is a lie!”
“Dearest,” Iwa repeats, and Oikawa shuts his mouth, staring up at him with big, woeful eyes. “We’ve been married forty-three years. I don’t think our relationship is a lie. If anything, this only proves what we both already knew.”
“...and what’s that?”
“That you were always far braver than I was. The universe knew I would never get there on my own, so it gave you a reason anyway.”
Oikawa smiles slightly. “Or, that I’ve always been a little delusional.”
“And that you get what you want,” Iwaizumi adds, leaning in to kiss his forehead.

Castle Audio's HighSchool HC's
(Poll Winner!!!!)
Highschool Claire was definitely the hot jock that everyone wanted but no one could get. She would spend a lot of her time studying or she was at lacrosse/hockey practice so outside of those and pack activities there wasn't much seeing her. Because of her dedication she became captain of both teams her senior year.
Highschool Beth was an absolute party animal of a jock. Her grades were ok but she only put in what was required for her to pass by. When she wasn't also at lacrosse practice she could be found either at some house party or in the theater costume department. To most people's surprise she only had one short relationship (despite her being a known flirt) that was broken off shortly after her mom died.
Highschool Knight was awful at school and only passed thanks to Evie's genorouse tutoring. They ran track and took a break during the winter. They tried their best to stay under the radar especially after Claire and Beth graduated. But no matter how much they kept to themselves they were still always found sitting off to the side during Evie's cheer practices waiting for her to finish
Highschool Seer was the type of person who was never at class but still somehow managed to get straight A's. Because of frequent migraines and other magic related issues they were regularly absent. When they were present however you would commonly find them in the schools art classrooms sketching and painting, they were commonly described by their teachers as an "Artistic Visionary"
Highschool Ranger was apart of a lot of clubs especially ones that involved a lot of fundraising. Not only were they in student government, but they were also in the school nature appreciation club and on the yearbook committee. They loved organizing bake sales and would spend their summers at a local summer camp alongside their friend Isaiah.
Highschool Evie was not only a cheerleader but also participated heavily in her high schools tutoring program. She was a little shy as a freshman which earned her some unwanted attention but was surprised when one day the bullying just stopped. It almost seemed like the bullies were afraid of her for some reason. She never did find out why but Knight also seemed to redirect the conversation if it was ever brought up.
Highschool Rose was always very quiet and well read. She tended to keep to herself and always had her nose in some kind of literature. She was a "pleasure to have in class" according to her teachers and fell in love with english and writing based courses. When she wasn't at school she spent a lot of her time working or studying.
Highschool Abigail was the type of student that was taken to a seperate room to take tests because she had a difficult time focusing but she had great grades and loved to learn. She did morning announcements for her school and tried to establish a cryptid club (but it never became official). She didn't have many in school friends and was unfortunately picked on throughout most of highschool but in her senior year she found a great online community and started her podcast.
Highschool Bud was an average student but they were the type of person to be "friends" with everyone. They didn't have any close friends but they always had a place to sit at lunch and people to talk to just no one to really know them beyond basic friendship. They did also have a great relationship with their english teacher and would often spend their lunch or free period's in said teacher's classroom
Highschool Chloe was the kind popular girl that everyone wanted to be friends with who also had great grades. She was on her schools swim and debate teams and always ready to help when one of her friends needed someone. She graduated salutatorian and is still to this day a little peeved about coming in second
Highschool Dewdrop was an incredible swimmer on their schools team but they unfortunately had to drop the sport their senior year due to their chronic pain becoming harder to deal with. With all the new free time they put all their time into their studies and fell in love with biology and the other sciences

dare i ask what lukes reaction would be to five star trying to break up with him because of the hate from his fans 😆 i love angst
well.... the angst monster got all of us in a chokehold i guess because i ran to my laptop to answer this ask!
i think five star would try to break up with luke a few months after luke told the world about their relationship (after that ellen-esque interview i referenced in this ask). i imagine it's over summer break and five star and clar are spending the break touring with the band. and luke notices that five star is acting strangely distant with him.
like i'm talking you kissed him (a peck which left luke pretty sad) once when he picked you up from the airport and gave him a side hug and chose to sit in the backseat with clarisse instead of sitting shotgun next to him (which also ticked chris off a little bit because he wanted to spend time with his girlfriend, but you didn't want to leave clar's side)
and when you get to the hotel that they're staying at, luke is trying to talk to you and kiss you because he just missed you so much. but you keep saying that the flight got you so tired and you just want to sleep. and luke doesn't wanna push you so he lets you sleep. he tries to keep himself busy, watching videos on his phone while he's sitting on the couch (with his airpods in of course, he didn't want to wake you) but then his airpods die and he hears this weird notification on your phone. so he looks just because he's curious and he sees that you had notifications on for google flight trackers and you're looking up one way flights to go home two days from today...?
his heart sinks to his stomach because why were you already looking at flights to leave? you just got here. did you not want to spend summer with him anymore? he was really looking forward to spending his days with you, like how it used to be back at camp. and he just kind of spirals a little bit.
he leaves the hotel room and marches over to chris' room because he really needed to talk to his best friend. he would ask you and talk to you but he didn't want to wake you because what if he was just in his head and you really were just tired? so he knocks on chris' door and chris (annoyed) tells him to go away and luke cringes because he realizes that clarisse is there and if you and him were on better terms, he would probably also not open the door for anyone.
so he goes back to his room only to realize that he locked himself out. he sits outside and keeps watching his little videos until his phone dies to try to distract himself from going crazy and he dozes off leaning on the door. when you wake up in the middle of the night to go use the bathroom and you realize you're alone in the room, you're immediately grabbing your wallet and keys to look for luke because it's not like him to disappear without telling you.
turns out, you didn't have to look too far because the minute you open the door, luke falls to the ground with a soft 'ow' and he looks at you apologetically for waking you. and it makes your heart crumble because he was so cute and sweet and you've been such a bitch to him since you got there.
you tell him to get up and let him in the room and he's timid and worried and anxious because it feels like the other shoe is about to drop. and when it does, you're sitting on the foot of the bed you're supposed to share and you're crying and luke feels torn because he wants to kiss your tears away but you're literally breaking up with him.
and by the time you finish your sentence, it feels like luke's heart was pierced by an arrow and all he can say is "what did i do?"
goddamn luke castellan. of course his first instinct is to assume that he wasn't enough and your heart constricts in your chest and then you're sobbing about how much it hurts seeing what people said about you online and it's starting to feel like you'll never be enough for him.
the minute those words leave your lips, luke's eyes are all watery and he's kinda laughing, not because he doesn't think the situation wasn't serious but because he just can't believe that you still don't get how much he loves you. when you hear him laughing, you're looking at him all confused (and a little hurt that he's joking about this) and he instantly grabs your face in your hands and kisses you the way he's been wanting to kiss you since you got here.
the kiss is messy and there's so much tears involved but when he finally pulls away, he's mumbling things you can't comprehend because the kiss left you breathless and dizzy and cursing at yourself for even thinking about letting this go.
and luke is calling you five star like he always does and makes some dramatic declaration about how if you tried to break up with him again, he'd probably die of heartbreak and you'd tell him he's being dramatic but he's soooo serious.
he'll kiss you over and over and just sigh in your mouth about how much he missed you and all you can do is cling to him (but he's not complaining because if he had it his way, he would stay glued to you forever) and you spend the night in luke's arms telling him about everything that's been building up and he listens until you're out of words.
at their next show, the band debuts an unreleased song (which gets pirated and uploaded as a podcast episode on spotify) called 17 (by pink sweat$) and while the crowd is cheering for them, he looks to the side of the stage and blows you a kiss.
#frances replies#poisoned mercury chats#i cant have the angst monster get them too much#they're my BABIES

Idk if anyone has asked already, but do the boys still play D&D in acswy? I don’t remember it being mentioned anywhere so I got curious
while it doesn’t really come up because of the premise of the fic, they do! the four of them don’t play together often because 1. will lives in a different area than dustin/lucas/mike so they don’t all meet up in person too much (although they text and call individually and are very close still of course) and 2. before this summer, mike and will specifically haven’t Really hung out outside of camp at all except for their/their friends’ birthdays and other special occasions. however something that’s very important to us is that they definitely got together online to play over the summer of 2020 and i think that was something that all of them really enjoyed, so calling them The Party would still technically be lore accurate here, even though i don’t think they refer to themselves as the party as much as they do in canon. also similarly to canon, mike and lucas and dustin’s high school had a d&d club that they dabbled in (mike and dustin more so because lucas was off being an Athlete and doing Athlete Things sometimes), but overall they’re all dorks, so yes, definitely!
#i don’t think the girls are into it as much but i think they did get roped into a couple of discord video call one shots over lockdown#there are not a lot of opportunities for dnd to come up in acswy but just know it happened#asks#acswy reference

Hikaru no Go DRAMA TIME LET'S GO
WHAT IS IT?
Hikaru no Go was a Weekly Shounen Jump manga written by Yumi Hotta and illustrated by Takeshi "Death Note" Obata that ran from 1998 to 2003, totaling 23 volumes. It had a 75 episode anime adaptation from 2001 to 2003. The story of Hikaru, a young boy who finds himself haunted by Sai, the ghost of a go player from Heian era Japan and acts as an avatar for the ghost to continue pursuing his passion. Hikaru becomes more interested in learning go and playing for himself, eventually setting his sights on becoming a professional under the mentorship and friendship of Sai. It follows the same formula and plot beats as tournament battle or sports manga for the same demographic and is one of my top five sports series.
In 2020, there was a Chinese drama adaptation that you should watch, whether you're a fan of the manga or not. It's more of a coming-of-age series than a sports series, but the heart and soul of the series remains intact.
LET'S MEET OUR FRIENDS (AND ENEMIES)!
There are a number of characters who also play a significant part in the drama with source material characters who were only relevant in a chapter or two and I could not find manga panels searching online. Dedication to format does not permit me to use screenshots from the anime and also, let's be honest, early '00s Jump adaptations did not have the highest quality of animation, especially compared to where Obata's art was by the later volumes of the manga (which I have almost all of in Japanese, but can't currently access [it's under my bed]).
After the first few episodes, there's a time-skip that brings the main characters into their teens. That's probably one of the reasons for certain characters being more fleshed out and some
PLOT ADDITIONS & ABSENCES
There's now a summer training camp arc!
There are fewer sub-arcs making up the journey from ignorant baby to professional.
There's a moving away from home young man arc!
There isn't an entire arc dedicated to a supporting character traveling to another country to find himself.
AND OF COURSE YOU MIGHT ASK
The Chinese adaptation of a Weekly Shounen Jump manga from 20 years ago ends up being queerer than some adaptations of explicitly queer source material.
(To those familiar with the source material: Yes, That Part happens. Yes, it made me cry in drama form. Embrace being wrecked.)
Watch it. You'll love it.

Lost in the Book with Stitch part 2
Disclaimer: This is a fan translation. I apologize for any mistakes. I’m by no means fluent in Japanese, but I try my best. Please, support the official translation when it comes out.
Library
Floyd: “Why is everyone gathered together like sardines?”
Ace: “Well. For summer vacation, I was assigned a troublesome book report.”
Ace: “I was talking with Yuu and the others about which book to write the essay on.”
Ace: “I met the housewarden by chance, and he’s picking out a good book for me.”
Grim: “First of all, I don’t want to write a book report.”
Riddle: “Not to worry. I will pick books suitable for each level.”
Lilia: “Azul and Floyd are also looking for books.”
Lilia: “Has anyone seen the book ‘Accurate Account! Twisted Wonderland Stroll’?”
Riddle: “Well……I don’t recall seeing it.”
Ace: “Why are you looking for that book? Do the seniors also have a book report assignment?”
Floyd: “Nuh-uh. It’s a guide to help decide where to go for summer vacation.”
Ace: “Eh, the upperclassmen are traveling?”
Ace: “Actually, I plan to go to the Shaftlands with my family.”
Floyd: “Oh. Crabby-chan, you have a nice family.”
Ace: “Nah, it’s been a long time since we’ve been on a family trip, right? It just so happens that my brother was able to take time off.”
Azul: “Shaftlands… Jack-san. For reference, are there any recommended areas in the Shaftlands?”
Jack: “Recommend? Of course…the Shaftlands is huge, and there’s a plateau that’s cool even in the summer, so it’s popular as a summer resort.”
Jack: “I went last year with my siblings, and the scenery was beautiful and spacious.”
Jack: “Every day I’m asked to go again. Summer vacations keep bringing me back.”
Lilia: “The famous summer resort is a mountain in the north side? It certainly looks like a pleasant summer to spend there!”
Lilia: “Hm……if I use magic over there, I may be able to make a day trip. I think I’ll secretly take Malleus with me.”
Floyd: “What about you, goldfishie? Are you seriously going home to study?”
Riddle: “No. I have plans for summer camp.”
Azul: “Camp!? That doesn’t fit Riddle-san’s image…”
Riddle: “Is that so? It was recommended by my mother. I’m personally looking forward to it.”
Riddle: “We’ll be staying by a lake in the Queendom of Roses, and all the participants will have a study session from morning ‘til night.”
Ace: “Does that have to be done out by the lake…?”
*The boys talk among themselves*
Yuu:
“It sounds fun.”
“It’s always exciting before the break.”
Grim: “Everyone all have plans to go play, I’m jealous.”
Grim: “I only have plans to hang out in Ramshackle Dorm! It’s boring!”
Grim: “Aah, I wanna go somewhere too~”
*sparkle*
Grim: “…Hm? One book is sticking out from the shelf. Have we ever had a book like this?”
Floyd: “What’s wrong, baby seal-chan? Did you find the book already?”
Azul: “No, this seems to be another book. The cover is different from what I saw online.”
Riddle: “…Hm? The book Grim has doesn’t have a title written on it.”
Riddle: “The library label is also not affixed to it. This doesn’t seem to be a school book. Has someone’s personal property gotten misplaced?”
Lilia: “There’s a mirror embedded in it. It’s a strange binding.”
Lilia: “Also……something……”
Floyd: “…This book is amazing!”
Lilia: “Hmm. Is this…magical power? I’m not sure…but I have a strange feeling I’ve never felt before…”
Floyd: “Aha, I have a funny premonition. I wonder what’s written inside.”
Grim: “Someone’s amazing secrets, treasure locations……Nyahaha, I’m excited!”
Grim: “Okay. Let’s look inside!”
*Book lights up*
Grim: “Funaah! What’s this!? It’s blinding…!”
Everyone: “UWAAAAAH~~~~!”

chapter seventeen | the red thread of fate
percy jackson x fem reader
The two people connected by the red thread are destined lovers, regardless of place, time, or circumstances. This magical cord may stretch or tangle, but never break.
In the height of summer, you found yourself in Australia. Sydney was a pretty place, and your dad’s new holiday home settled overlooking the beach was your paradise. Surfing became the new daily sport. Evenings consisted of calling your friends and completing online courses your dad signed you up for, since you’d missed way too much schooling.
Your appearance home had been jarring. Not only had you been labelled as missing to the police, but your dad revealed he knew, above all else, what you really were, and who you really were. He’d known since the day you were born, settled on his doorstep in a cream-color blanket.
After all, how could you have literally popped in to existence, appearing with no trace of somebody leaving you?
He promised you could be wherever was safest for you to be. When September started, you’d go back to camp. For the summer, though—
“Dude, you should see my skin,” you lifted your arm and inspected it, holding the phone to your ear with the other hand. You nodded slowly. “I’m glowing.”
“Just don’t get sick if you’re out all the time,” Percy’s voice came through the other side of the phone, all the way in Manhattan. Apparently it was storming there. “I don’t want to visit you in the hospital.”
You scoffed. “Why not? It would be the only time I’d be quiet.”
“Which is why I’d be traumatised.”
“You’re weird.”
“Says you.”
“Whatever,” you leaned down on the window ledge, resting your chin on your hand. The crystal-clear waters glimmered with every crash of the waves. “This is pure heaven. You should come down for the summer next year.”
“That’d be good. Maybe we could bring Annabeth, too.”
Annabeth. Your sister. Your man-stealing, attention-taking sister.
“Yeah!” You faked a happy tone, as if you thought his suggestion was a good idea. “That would be fun.” Fun to shove her in the sea.
“Have you made your mind up about September yet?”
You noticed, though you hadn’t seen him for three months, that his voice had deepened. You only imagined how much he’d changed in person.
“Yeah, yeah I have. I’m going back to camp. Dad said as long as he sends me school work from Cranwatts, it’ll be fine. It’s funny how things work when your parents know certain people.”
“Can you do that for me? My mom’s sending me to another school.”
You laughed and he sighed. “Good luck with that.”
By seven o’clock, you would usually be finished on the phone to Percy. By eight, your phone would ring again.
You’d pick up the receiver with a coy smile, and hold the phone to your ear with a careful, “Hey.”
“Good morning, lady,” Travis’s voice would float through the phone in a terrible Australian accent.
“If this is the guy from the surf shop, you can get lost,” you replied, twirling the phone cable.
You could practically see his face drop. “Surf guy?! Hey, tell me about this surf guy!”
“Sorry, since you’re not him it’s pretty confidential stuff. Try again in a few years.”
“Uh—no! This is important shit! You gotta tell me about this kind of stuff.”
You giggled. “Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t know you’re secretly a girl, Travis.”
“We can talk girl stuff!” His voice was high.
You nodded, rolling your eyes. “Yeah, sure. Wanna talk about the size of—?”
He retched and you burst out laughing. “I’m Travis again.”
You faked a sigh. “Oh, thank god.”
“Which one.”
“My mother?” You shrugged.
“Reasonable. So, you coming back to camp this year?”
September came around quicker than you could have imagined. On August 31st, you took a plane back to the States, and then a full night on a train to get back to camp. A taxi to Halfblood Hill was paid for and organised before you arrived, and you ignored the weird look the cabbie sent your way as you climbed out in the middle of nowhere, a white duffel bag on your shoulder and two cases in each hand at your side.
“Thanks!” You waved, shutting the door. He took off quicker than you’d ever seen anyone drive. Maybe he thought you were some kind of junkie.
The woods were all dried up, the mud under your sneakers dried and cracked. Sunlight streaked gently through the trees and blinded you with every movement until you passed over the threshold to camp. A certain tree looked a little droopy, the one right by the border. Probably the summer heat.
It came to life all of a sudden.
The grass under your feet was a familiar and blinding green, healthy and soft. The smell of strawberries filled your nose, and the sound of kids yelling or laughing further away could be heard clear as anything.
A couple of campers waved or called out to you as you walked to your cabin. Once inside, you found the usual scene of tidiness and people either writing or reading or talking. Your bed was unmade, left exactly as you’d left it, and you dumped your bags in the middle of the room to get on your knees and begin pulling out your pillows and covers from the cupboard at the end.
So far, only yourself and two others you’d never so much as talked to before inhabited the cabin. It gave you enough time before others arrived to get your bed sorted and your bags unpacked.
Before Travis came knocking, that is.
“Ladies,” he drawled in a joking manner.
“Get out, Travis. I’m not interested,” one of the girls sitting against the back wall sighed.
“Don’t worry, Mavis. I’m not here for you.”
Oooh, you thought. That was embarrassing.
“Hey, Scout.”
Percy had Bambi. Travis called you Scout. And both were just as endearing to you.
You turned where you knelt, a coy smirk coming to your face. Travis walked slowly across the cabin, hands stuffed in the pockets of his jeans. His hair had grown out, hanging curly over his forehead and short on the sides, blended.
“Like the haircut,” you teased, standing to do a handshake with him. Travis’s hand was warm and bigger than yours, boyishly thin while yours was softer-looking.
“Glad you’ve grown yours out.” He nodded.
Your perm. It was still curly, but it had dropped a considerable amount now, and grown out to a little past your shoulders.
You nodded. “Why thank you. When’s dinner?”
That summer was a strange one. At the announcement of another quest—one you were, once more, not mentioned in—it was time for Percy to take off once more to fix things. Thalia’s tree that guarded the border to camp, was dying. Annabeth was constantly upset, kicking things around the cabin or sitting quietly and thinking to herself. Percy looked stressed. Luke had been weird.
The camp’s defence was down. And after Percy and the others left camp with a promise to try to get in contact with you as often as possible, everyone was on a rota for defending camp. Mondays was Athena and Apollo. Tuesdays was Ares and Hermes. Wednesdays was Demeter and Aphrodite. And then it repeated from the start for the remaining days.
It began to grow harder to sleep. Everyone had to be in their cabins by dark, messing up the schedules. Doors were firmly locked to keep monsters out—though you wondered why they couldn’t just smash a window.
Sometimes, creatures could be heard around or in camp, howling, whistling, or crawling. You’d throw the covers over your head and curl and just I think the fuck not.
You’d wake sweaty, still tired from a restless sleep, and hungry.
Percy returned. Percy was poisoned. Like disappeared. And Thalia was alive.
The girl looked incredibly out of place. She was mean, straightforward, and besties with Annabeth. Thalia had a lot to get used to, looking like a child still. She’d missed out on years upon years of life, almost seven.
Even Chiron looked moved every time he saw her.
Percy complained.
Annabeth was never in her cabin.
Travis thought he broke his elbow.
Travis did, indeed, break his elbow.
And the world carried on.
Camp was protected by the Golden Fleece, glowing 24/7, keeping the borders up.
You’d thought your adventures were over for now. You could focus on school work and fighting techniques.
Wrong.
Horribly wrong.
The car jostled with the fierce wind throwing it. You held on to the handle on the ceiling like your life depended on it, sitting on Annabeth’s knees.
“Why are you so bony?!” She ground out.
“Ew!” You’d call, yelling every time the car swerved in the snow storm.
“Shut up!” She’d call.
Your sister and yourself had a strained relationship.
Thalia was in the front seat. Percy on the right. Sally Jackson’s car only had four seats. Finally, you all opted for being completely squished over Annabeth apparently being in ‘pain’. You’d air-quoted the word as you mumbled. She hit you with her hat.
“Percy was such a cute baby,” Sally Jackson fawned at the wheel. Thalia grinned wickedly, turning to give Percy a look. He pulled a face and looked back out the window. You laughed mockingly and he told you to shut up. “Seriously! And such a foodie, too, I mean seriously he never stopped.”
“Were you a chunky baby, Percy Jackson?” You teased. “Little chunks?” Even Annabeth laughed along now.
“Mom would you shut up!”
Westover Hall came to into sight after an eight hour drive. You’d gone to Percy’s from camp for winter break, and decided to come along on this one. After all, there were three of you now. Chiron couldn’t tell you off for this. And besides, you’d turned fourteen over the summer. You were more mature now.
“Oh, yeah,” Thalia said, wiping the window with her sleeve. “This’ll be fun.”
Thalia took some getting used to. In many ways, you shared the same sarcastic, brutal personality. In other ways, she completely obliterated you with harsh words. She didn’t like you. Thalia was a rocker, all black and metal and goth. You were beaches and sunshine, sarcastic with flawless lipgloss. She called you a Barbie doll the first time you met her. So you called a dead b—
“Are you sure you don’t want me to wait?” Percy’s mom asked.
“No, thanks, mom. I don’t know how long it’ll take,” Percy declined.
“But how will you get back? I’m worried, Percy. I always worry about you.”
“It’s okay, Mrs Jackson,” Annabeth bumped in. You rolled your eyes; suck up. “We’ll keep him out of trouble.”
Thank god you’d dressed for the occasion. You’d managed to wrangle your curly hair into a bun at your neck, and shoved a multicoloured bobble hat on top, covering your eyebrows. With a pair of leggings, high Converse, a tee, sweater and a walking coat you were sure to be warm enough.
You discovered on the walk up to the school that Thalia did not like to take about her family.
In your inside pocket was a dagger. You’d sheathed it, but there always was a worry that you’d somehow get stabbed. You’d picked it out over the summer. A sword was too much of a risk to take with you somewhere casually. But a dagger you could carry around, prepared for anything a monster threw at you.
You’d thought it was just the three of you.
Then you heard a bleet.
It was like deja vu.
Inside, you closed your eyes, sighing. “Guys! Hey, you’re here!”
You plastered a smile to your face. “We made it!”
Grover had grown a little taller and had sprouted a few more whiskers, but otherwise he looked like he always did when he passed for human—a red cap on his curly brown hair to hide his goat horns, baggy jeans and sneakers with fake feet to hide his furry legs and hooves. He was wearing a black T-shirt that took me a few seconds to read. It said WESTOVER HALL: GRUNT. You pulled a face when you saw it.
Nonetheless, Grover was nice to you. “How was your birthday?” He’d asked.
“Not bad!” You nodded along. Not bad at all. It was spent surfing, sunbathing, and being surprise visited by your family.
“So, what’s the emergency?”
Grover took a deep breath, his vibe changing. You picked up on the drop quickly. “I found two.”
“Two half-bloods?” Thalia asked, amazed. “Here?”
Grover nodded.
Travis had told you about Grover’s job. He would search for demigods all over the states, going out of the country if need be. Finding them these days was the hard part, however—they were just getting harder and harder to spot. Whether it be be because they lived in remote areas, or such big areas that scents mixed together and made them hard to discern.
“A brother and a sister,” he said. “They're ten and twelve. I don't know their parentage, but they're strong. We're running out of time, though. I need help.”
“Monsters?”
“One.” Grover looked nervous. “He suspects. I don't think he's positive yet, but this is the last day of term. I'm sure he won't let them leave campus without finding out. It may be our last chance! Every time I try to get close to them, he's always there, blocking me. I don't know what to do!”
“Right. These half-bloods are at the dance?” Thalia confirmed. Grover double confirmed so.
“Then let’s dance,” she suggested. You grinned. Perfect chance to wind up Percy. “Who’s the monster?”
“The vice principal—Dr. Thorn.”
—
There were black and red balloons all over the gym floor, and guys were kicking them in each others faces, or trying to strangle each other with the crepe-paper streamers taped to the walls. Girls moved around in huddles, the way they always do, a way you were familiar with, wearing lots of makeup and spaghetti-strap tops and brightly colored pants and shoes. One girl wore a pair of heels easily over six-inches, you applauded her. The typical scene of teens arguing with teens, kids high on sugar, and girls bitching filled the scene.
A scene you were very much comfortable in.
Percy, on the other hand?
“Oh, cheer up, Perky,” you cooed, pinching his cheek. He jerked away and playfully smacked your hand. “What’s so bad about this?”
“Everything!”
Music boomed and the multi-color lights streamed around the room from fixtures on the ceiling. This was your scene. You’d nabbed a plate of sugar straws in neon coloured plastic casing, and a clear plastic cup of cola. Percy’s hands were in his pants pockets as he looked around awkwardly, as if he wished to be anywhere else at all.
“There they are.”Grover nodded toward a couple of younger kids arguing in the bleachers. “Bianca and Nico di Angelo.”
Bianca, the girl you guessed was twelve, wore a floppy green hat low, like she was trying to hide. In a skirt and jacket, she stood out among the other kids. Her brother, the shorter, younger-looking boy at her side, wore pants and a sweater. He talked animatedly, waving his hands about, and shuffled cards between his fingers. Bianca looked to be reprimanding him.
Annabeth said, “Have you told them?”
Grover shook his head. “You know how it is. That could put them in more danger. Once they realise who they are, their sent becomes stronger.”
He and Percy shared a look.
“So let’s grab them and get them out of here,” Percy said. He started forward, but you firmly put your hand on his shoulder to stop him. Over by the door, the vice principle had slipped in. Dr. Thorn headed over to the Di Angelo’s. One of his eyes seemed to glow.
You’d met him when you entered the school. A tall, thin man with a terrifying vibe. A wrong vibe. And he watched you five carefully. You figured coming along this time may have potentially ruined things. Your presence, the additional two of you to a three-man job, was throwing things off.
“Don’t look at the kids,” Thalia ordered. “We have to wait for a chance to get them. We need to pretend we’re not interested in them. Throw him off.”
“And for some reason I don’t think that’s gonna work…” you mumbled, eyeing the kids.
Thalia’s attention twisted on you. She practically glowered. You weren’t her favorite person in the world by any chance. “And why’s that?”
You leaned on your hip casually, folding your arms. You waved a hand as you spoke. “Because he already knows we’re here. He knows what we’re trying to do. Best chance we have at getting them would be to—”
“Look, I know what I’m doing. We’ve got a good chance of things going our way first time round if we just stick to the plan.”
Maybe. Maybe not. You couldn’t help the resentment that crawled up your spine. Why wouldn’t she just listen to you? You didn’t like her either, but for the sake of the kids, you were willing to work together. It seemed she wasn’t.
Thalia looked away. Annabeth shifted on her feet. Percy sighed at your side.
“We can’t keep standing around like this,” Annabeth voiced. “We’ve gotta do something. Go talk to people, act casual,” she waved a hand in your direction. You sipped your cola.
“Come on, Perky,” you put down your plate. “Let’s get you a drink.”
Grover, Thalia and Annabeth went straight into the crowd while yourself and Percy skirted around it. The cafeteria doors at the back showed tables of food and drinks, where a few students talked and helped themselves. Percy settled for a cup of lemonade. Back out in the main room, you tried not to slosh your drink everywhere as you pulled Percy to the middle of the crowd.
Now he was wildly, visibly uncomfortable.
When a certain song began to play, your eyes widened.
Percy looked like he wanted to die.
“You’re not missing this one!” You called, pulling him out to the edge again to dump your drinks. I’m gonna live out my highschool dream!
Percy groaned. “Look, I’m not a dancer. I’ve never done it—”
“It’ll be cool! I’ll lead!”
“But that’ll make me look—”
Your heart pounded, but he didn’t need to know that. And your stomach filled with butterflies battling, but he didn’t need to know that, either.
Your mind went into overload as he clutched your hand in one and placed his hand very lightly on your hip. You’d have been jealous if he’d solely been watching Annabeth over to the side, but he frowned, and moved his hand a little. He was trying to do it right.
Your cheeks burned badly. Thank god it was dark.
It was like something out of a movie, or a lovey-dovey book. Dancing with your crush at a school dance. Percy stepped on your foot twice or thrice, but you managed to laugh it off. If not for the sake of making it easier for you, but to save him the embarrassment too.
“How was Australia?” He asked, looking at you directly.
He’d grown a considerable amount over the summer, but then, so had you. You wanted to whack him for making it at least an inch taller.
“Good,” you nodded. “I really think you’d like it there.”
“Are you gonna stay there, like, permanently?”
“Probably. It’s pretty. And hot. Both of them together is…yeah.”
Though you smiled, Percy looked like he was struggling to hold his up. It faltered a little.
His eyes shifted. His expression dropped.
“They’re gone.” He hissed. “The kids. They’re gone.”
“Maybe they’ve gone to the restroom,” you muttered absently. He wore his camp necklace outside of camp.
“No,” he dropped his hands. You sighed through your nose. “Thorn’s gone, too. Look, stay here; I’ll get Annabeth and Thalia.”
Annabeth and Thalia. You smiled tightly, nodding. Percy ran in to the crowd.
Leaving you on your own.
Who needed Annabeth and Thalia when you were here? You could’ve worked together, but…
Nah. You were just as capable of them. If Percy couldn’t see that, you’d prove it to him.
Pushing through other students, you made your way to the sideline, in line with the double doors. One swung gently, the way it would when someone pushed through it.
They’d gone that way.
Waiting for Percy would mean waiting for a plan to be put in place. The kids could be in danger and long gone by then.
And since you were just standing…
You took off after them.
First chapter of part two! Nothing terribly exciting. That stuff comes next. Fun fact: Cranwatts is an actual school heheh.
Any predictions?

Another Update on the Darling Update
Hey hey hey! Still not dead, still no update lol
So I think I mentioned it earlier but I've been taking some online courses. I'm taking two at the moment, so, while I'm not currently teaching as it's summer break, basically all my time is going into doing those and not writing.
BUT!
My courses end on the 9th and then I go camping until the 12th SO assuming I don't have time around finishing my coursework in the next week and a half, I will have LOADS of time to get writing done once my courses end. Also assuming the weather stays decent and I don't get any or many heat induced migraines.
But anyway. Just wanted to keep you updated that the update is coming and (fingers crossed if everything goes smoothly!) should be updated by mid August. I literally only have like four more scenes to write for it and then it's done. Scenes that I can't move to after the chapter, unfortunately, or I might've just posted what I've got.
But yeah! It's coming! The speed depends on how long my last few assignments take but will hopefully be soon!
#darling hold me in your arms#should i do an assignment countdown?#the number is currently at 13#5 are due this thursday#4 this saturday#and the other 4 on the 9th

all of the asks. (ask game)
(you don’t actually have to i partially just thought it would be funny to say this i can pick specific ones if you want but also please do if you want to)
This is hilarious. I will do all of them because why not.
favorite chore: organizing things mostly but sometimes even that sucks, sweeping, or not really a chore--- peeling potatoes
least favorite chore: cleaning anything that's sticky/slimy/etc
aquarium, planetarium, museum, or zoo: it really depends on the kind. The aquarium in my town has a really big otter enclosure, so I love that. I really really like planetariums and museums but don't go enough.
favorite kind of museum: The ones that are pretty much people's houses turned into museums especially big old fancy houses with old artifacts. I do love a good art museum of course too.
cooking or baking (and your favorite thing to cook or bake): baking and apple crisp. It has peeling, cutting, etc.
favorite thing in your room: My bookshelf or all of the quotes stuck up on my wall.
favorite class you’ve ever taken: I haven't gotten much variety yet. I really like choir, Spanish, and English though.
what kinds of clothes do you typically wear?: tshirts, jeans, overalls, sweaters, really anything but if you see it it makes sense.
favorite way to be creative (can be anything: playlists, outfits, drawing, writing, decorating cookies, anything.): WRITING but I actually kind of have done a lot. I paint some. I make cool outfits. I actually painted a bunch of jean jackets last summer while listening to the FLF audiobook. I might do that again.
are you superstitious?: Yes and no. I am in the ways that I think are funny like sayings and jokes and having a "lucky necklace." I used to be more so.
favorite article of clothing you own: It's either this gray sweater I found thrifting, my Evermore sweatshirt, or my best jean jacket.
favorite way to carry things (pockets, purse, backpack, etc): I apologize in advance for the rant this will cause. I want to say pockets, but I can not because WOMEN'S PANTS POCKETS FIT NOTHING. I also have to carry an Epipen which can't even fit in men's pants pockets so a purse. I like satchel like purses that can fit a book.
what things do you usually have on you when you leave the house?: As stated before my Epipen, my phone which has my wallet stuff in it, a purse, a book, headphones, chapstick, some cash, etc.
favorite errand: grocery shopping or essential other things
dream job: a librarian who writes books in her spare time (with a dog and a cat <3)
favorite thing get when going out to eat: a burger or spaghetti usually
when did you lose your first tooth?: first tooth lost was pulled by the dentist, and I didn't know what was going on. It was HORRIBLE. I have gotten many pulled actually. First "naturally" lost was because my friend's friend hit my chin with her knee while we lifted her in the air at recess. I lost it in Spanish class a few days later.
any childhood memory you want to share:
do you like camping?: Yes, but mostly because I was taken a lot as a kid.
have you ever gone to summer camp and did you enjoy it?: I went to girl scout summer camp but family camp, so my mom was there. It was fine.
favorite place to write things: At a table anywhere without too much distractions
lucky number(s): 4, 7, 13, 14, 16
favorite place you’ve traveled to: Canada probably or just somewhere camping
place you want to travel to: Broadway or London or the Netherlands (to meet an old online friend)
favorite snack: gold fish
favorite smell: lemon verbena
something you’re proud of: all the progress I have made
do you have any pets?: I had a bunny as a little girl. I loved her. I had a dog, but she died two months (ish) ago. I miss her.
do you want any pets that you don’t have?: I want to have a dog again someday. I also will probably have a cat someday. (If I could get an orange cat, I would name it Kell.)
favorite place to go in your neighborhood: THE LIBRARY DUH
