![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/d24245dc4e4715d03bcb15fed03f7385/ae2cd268e337b5f6-7c/s540x810/952dcf7cb941825a046c8302b69b310c1f82edbc.jpg)
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/37177dc4da3edb68225aaf3627e00644/ae2cd268e337b5f6-ff/s540x810/d9878d32a673b693d29c4afa6fab5ad5e10e9404.jpg)

If you still do it: Top five foreign languages you'd like to learn/speak?
ill preface this by saying im like, very bad at languages, my brain does not pick up language easily at all, that said, if i had the time and money to really double down on trying to learn:
5) hindi
4) swedish (i know SOME, but not much)
3) spanish
2) portuguese
1) mandarin chinese, i learned a bunch of mandarin when i was like 12 but there was no lessons available anywhere even close to where i lived, and online lessons wernt an option back then so it was literally just me and my dad learning through audio tapes. now i could muddle my way through some basic verbal mandarin, but not much written outside of really really basic stuff. would love to actually learn to communicate properly in it.
#i can do bits of most of these but not lots#most of them not enough to carry a conversation properly just broken bits#it sucks bc i am just NOT GOOD at language#the only way for me to learn would probably be immersion just like learn as much as you can and then go there#ask game

Strategies for Improving English Fluency
Here are effective strategies and tips recommended by language experts to gain long-term English fluency:
Surround Yourself with English
To soak up the language, immerse yourself in English-speaking environments. Watch English news channels, movies and TV shows without subtitles. Listen to educational podcasts and English music to get accustomed to pronunciation patterns. Spend time on sites like Englishontips.com which provide lessons and resources for learning English. The more exposure you have, the faster you will absorb the language.
Have Conversations
Practice speaking every day with a language partner or tutor. Active conversations allow reinforcing proper grammar and vocabulary while improving spoken confidence. Get corrected on mistakes and focus on tricky sounds. Apps like Tandem let you find language exchange partners worldwide.
Read Aloud
Reading out loud daily strengthens pronunciation and the ability to structure sentences. Start with children’s books and work your way up to more complex texts like newspapers and novels. Record your reading to listen back and identify problem areas. Apps like Speechling provide reading aloud exercises.
Think in English
Challenge yourself to think in English rather than translating in your head. Inner dialogue and self-talk in English will make external speech more natural. Write a daily journal in English to enhance thinking skills. For example, you could write imperative sentences in hindi and then translate them to English to practice both languages. The more you engage in thought processes directly in English, the faster your mastery will improve.
Continually Learn Vocabulary
Having an extensive vocabulary is vital for fluent communication. Learn 20 new words daily using digital flashcards and dictionary apps. Weave these new words into your speech and writing. Reading extensively will also expand your vocabulary over time.
Practice Public Speaking
One of the best ways to gain verbal fluency is by practicing public speaking at every opportunity. Join Toastmasters or a public speaking course to build skills. Upload presentation videos online to review and improve.
Receive Feedback
Ask for feedback from tutors, teachers, native speakers and language partners to improve. Record conversations and analyze your speech patterns. Critical feedback will highlight problem areas for you to work on. View mistakes positively as learning experiences.
Set Daily Goals
Define specific measurable goals and dedicate time daily to achieve them. For example, “I will learn 20 new words and have a 30-minute English conversation with my language partner today.” Maintaining consistency is key.
By combining the above tips into your daily routine, your English fluency will improve dramatically within months. Along with strategies, having the right mindset and motivation are equally critical.
Adopting the Right Mindset for Fluency
More than techniques, achieving fluency requires the right attitude and mindset. Here are some top tips for the optimal English learning mentality:
Acknowledge Flaws Gracefully
Accept that even native speakers make mistakes occasionally. View errors as feedback for improvement rather than reasons for embarrassment. Focus more on getting your message across than speaking perfectly.
Let Go of Inhibitions
Many learners are inhibited by the fear of mistakes or sounding non-native. But the only way to become fluent is by speaking up confidently. Make mistakes fearlessly and course-correct. Eventually, your speech will become flawless.
Be Patient
Remember that gaining fluency requires rigorous long-term practice rather than overnight success. Set incremental goals and celebrate small wins. With regular practice, you will get to an advanced level step-by-step.
Immerse Fully
To absorb a language, you need complete immersion. Don’t let excuses like lack of time prevent your progress. Become obsessed with English – watch, listen, speak, read, write as much as possible! Full immersion accelerates fluency.
Have a Growth Mindset
Believe that language skills can be developed through dedication and practice. Many adult learners feel being fluent is impossible after a certain age. But human brains retain language learning capacity well into adulthood. Stay motivated.
Adopting the right learning attitude and mindset sets you up for success in your quest for English mastery. Along with strategies, having grit and motivation will ensure long-term language fluency.
Overcoming Roadblocks in English Fluency
Despite consistent practice, some common challenges can obstruct your path to fluency:
Anxiety About Mistakes
Many learners hesitate to speak up fearing they will make errors. But mistakes are inevitable and essential for improvement. Let go of perfectionism, speak courageously and course correct. Each error gets you closer to fluency.
Lack of Motivation
It’s common to lose motivation, especially after hitting a plateau in progress. Rekindle motivation by setting new goals, joining a language course or finding accountability partners. Stay inspired by reading fluency success stories.
Limited Vocabulary
Growing vocabulary requires devoted exertion. Understand books, and papers, pay attention to digital recordings and use cheat sheets to learn new words day to day. Applying vocabulary through speaking and writing cements learning.
Fears Around Pronunciation
Don’t let concerns about not sounding “native-like” prevent you from speaking up. Focus on clarity rather than perfection. Record speeches and converse with native speakers to enhance pronunciation.
Negative Self-Talk
Self-doubt and negative self-talk can impede language progress. Notice negative thoughts and reframe them. Instead of “I can't do this”, say “I am becoming more fluent daily with practice.” Be your own cheerleader!
Addressing these common hurdles proactively will help you attain English fluency faster. Seek help from teachers if needed, but keep pushing yourself out of the comfort zone.
Maintaining and Improving Your English After Reaching Fluency
Congratulations, you have now achieved your goal of English fluency! But language learning is an ongoing endeavor. Here are tips to maintain and continue enhancing your English skills:
Have daily conversations with native speakers
Read books, newspapers and magazines in English
Write regularly - maintain a journal, blog or write articles
Limit passive activities like watching movies; stay actively engaged with the language
Join a language course or immerse yourself in an English-speaking country periodically to improve proficiency
Learn new vocabulary words and phrases consistently
Continually seek feedback on your spoken and written English
Surround yourself with people who challenge your language skills and push you to improve
Staying actively engaged with English even after gaining fluency will help you move from proficiency to mastery. This ensures you retain your hard-earned fluency and continue progressing.
Conclusion: Dedication Is Key for English Fluency Success
Gaining mastery over spoken and written English requires dedication and immersion. But fluency is an achievable goal for any motivated learner. Setbacks and plateaus will occur, but consistent practice will ensure long-term success.
Follow the strategies outlined here - converse daily, expand vocabulary, get feedback, read aloud, think in English and more. Complement these with developing a positive attitude. Be patient with yourself on the journey and celebrate small milestones.
With customary practice and devotion, you will change from reluctant speaker to familiar communicator. Open interminable individual and expert open doors through the endowment of English familiarity. Your example of overcoming adversity is ready to be composed.
What Is The Fastest Way To Gain English Fluency?
Full immersion by surrounding yourself with English media, conversations, books etc. is the fastest way. Living in an English-speaking country accelerates fluency. Daily practice is vital - read, write, speak and listen actively.

even the silverest of spoons being in your mouth when you're born doesn't shield you from the unhappiness of life, but it does slap a bandage over a festering wound so you can ignore it a while longer. kenta mochizuki, a dermatologist originally from japan. beth mcnulty, general legal counsel for one of the biggest energy companies in all of australia. married a little later than either of their families would have liked, but in their defense, they were both busy being successful. and they barely slowed down long enough to have their only child, takaharu.
though of an ornery countenance since birth, taka was always still popular and favored because he was pretty and rich. clarinet lessons, piano lessons, drum lessons, surfing lessons, she was set up for success from the very beginning. her childhood memories are mostly accompanied by nannies and tutors, though her father, an earnest and excitable man, always made an effort to be present in his child's life, eager to see her succeed.
there was always a distance between taka and their mother, though; taka knows now that beth never wanted to be a parent. this attitude became clearly evident when she didn't show up to taka's tenth birthday dinner. it was soon revealed that she'd forgotten, and more of the truth came tumbling out: she shirked her parental duties for an affair. and this apparently had been going on for quite some time, seeing other men that weren't her heartbreakingly devoted husband.
a divorce ensued, and taka sided with his kind, loving father, who had also always made an effort to keep japanese culture alive in the home. when taka was barely into her teens, her father sat her down to tell her about a woman he'd met online, one he'd fallen in love with. the catch was that she lived in malibu. taka was given the choice to live with her mother or move to the united states with her father. she easily chose the latter.
lashonda rhimes, successful anesthesiologist to the stars, and kenta's second wife. she was a few years younger, though not egregiously so, but still childless. and she treated taka like her own child, which might have been externally brushed off by the surly teenager, but taka came to appreciate it. he was popular in his new home, with his accent and his money and his looks. being so intelligent, the transition to a new continent wasn't difficult at all, and he finished high school near the top of his class.
he didn't really have a plan for his life, and all his parents really wanted out of him was just for him to go to college. an acceptance to duke university was sweetened by some scholarships, and whatever those didn't cover was easily made up for by the wads of cash his family had. taka had started smoking weed not long after landing in the US, but she branched out into new drugs while in durham, north carolina, for college.
acid trips were unpleasant every time she tried dropping; and she didn't like injecting anything to leave marks behind on her pretty body. but she soon found a bad habit in cocaine. she would sniff a few lines, party for several hours, go home and do homework, go to class, and go to modeling shoots, and do it all over again. somehow, using sheer ambition probably, she finished college within 4 years, even with a double major and a couple semesters spent studying abroad.
bouncing around the US for a year or so; living with his aunt in japan for a couple years; and then landing in anchorage for the next adventure around 2016
these days, taka keep busy in any way she knows how: too long with her own thoughts can be dangerous and make her itch to return to her cocaine habit. but they've done a good job of staying clean. taka doesn't need to work for money—his mother sends him gobs of money to curry his favor, and his father and stepmother have nobody else to spoil—but he does work to stay busy, spinning tunes at the boom boom room; modeling for small indie publications and brands; and gaining some traction as a music producer.
with more money than one person should ever need, taka gives a lot of it away. there are a few charities she routinely makes generous donations to; but she also likes to take care of her friends. she'll buy her closest friends whatever they want, buy their groceries, offer to pay rent or even let them stay in her house, offer to pay their medical bills... seriously, what is one lonely person gonna do with all those digits in their bank account? besides, spending money is the only way she knows how to show love.

Achie Antonio Faces Online Hatreds
Achie Ekayel Antonio, the 20 year old Filipino actor, faces online backlashes after receiving numerous slurs and other derogatory from Twitter. With the recent interview, it was revealed that the online hatred came after his silence. One thing that he never saw coming.
“It was really sad that they called out the issue na petty when all I wanted is for others to be aware so that hindi na maulit yung nangyari sa’min,” Achie stated.
The issue began 3 months ago when he replied to a tweet that he thought was just a form of entertainment. All of a sudden, the issue got bigger and bigger until it was followed by three series of arguments within the span of the first quarter of the year.
“I’ve been in this group for like 4 months or so na. I’ve been a pioneer and now one of the heads of the organization, though it’s somewhat under my control. Of course, as one of it’s acting leaders, I had to defend my subordinates. Kahit na masira pa reputation ko as long as I defend them with all cost,” Achie added.
What makes him sad and frustrated is the amount of hate he has received. He came to his conclusion that some people are enablers, some would really meddle with the issue, some wouldn’t understand but has something to say.
“I can’t blame them either. Mind-conditioning ba naman yung nangyari. No matter how hard I try to voice out the truth, there’s no point on trying kasi the lies has been placed so perfectly. The saddest thing pa na nangyari, mga special moots that I consider, sila pa yung unang tumalikod sa’kin,” Achie stated.
“I know I disappointed some people, pero it all happened from the outburst of my silence. Some said na we should’ve talked na lang in private. That’s the thing, we did naman. Pero yung dapat namin kausapin is very aggressive. How can both ends understand each other’s points kung yung isang end ayaw makinig? Nonetheless, I am not hoping na maayos yung issue. Ayoko lang dumating sa point na kainin ng ibang people yung mga sinabi nila sa’kin and sa group where I belong,” he added.
The actor revealed that he never saw this coming. He thought that what goes on his plan, will go accordingly. It was a lesson learned that life is really full of surprises — that there are certain things in life that we cannot control and no longer in our hands to take the stance.
“There comes a time that some people will really vanish in our lives. For some reasons, it’s just that they won’t understand us not until they learn to empathize. Yes, they can only sympathize but the very rationale of human understanding is to place yourself on the shoe of another. It’s just on how you see yourself on the perspective of others.” Achie on his final words and a piece of advice.
The talk lasted for an hour or two which highlighted the narrative of how the issue began from his perspective on how he managed his patience.

Hiiii, Mikey! :)
Seriously, if you aren't reading this I'll probably appear as crazy na talking to no one in here. But if ever you see this then maybe you are still interested with what I'm going to tell you, ty.
I would like you to hear me out, I'm hesitant if mag rerecord ba ako, it's easier to literally say this verbally but I believe mas na poprocess ng utak if nag babasa lang so I will just type ha?
This will be my last message for you.
Don't take it in a negative way, okay?
______________________________________
I honestly never once felt any bad feelings towards you, in general.
Not to let you down ha? But frankly speaking,
You surely make me sad, but that's because I gave you permission to affect me. It's not entirely your fault.
To be fair naman, napasaya mo rin ako.
I don't know why you always ask if I'm mad, do you think it's easy for me to be mad at you?
I can't be, I'd rather be hurt instead than to stay mad at you.
Nope talaga, not a bit.
If you are worrying if I am still hurting now, naah, not anymore.
I sincerely accepted what happened and believe me, I found so much peace in accepting things out of my control.
If you are still worrying about the last time we talk that you feel bad about what you did, don't be. I don't hold any grudge regarding that matter. In fact, it's respectable that you step up on what you think is for the better. I may not know your reasons behind it, but I trust your decision.
Not to baby you ha? I hope you know that there was lack of explanation in the past although there's no point of bringing it up now.
I'm sorry, if my previous approach became very emotional. Please do understand that this is a foreign feeling to me, I never been hurt in this kind of manner. I'm still young and learning po.
I'm sorry if it took me a month again, to process all my emotions. Told you naman kasi before diba, this is not shallow.
I'm confident to say na nasa best state na ako ngayon to free myself from this.
It's time for me to stop hanging on into something that is already moving forward.
I'm gonna keep up nohhh!

Hahahaha
Hahabulin kita, in a way na I will be the best version of myself too.
Thank you, Mikey. Thank you. :)
You may not be aware but I've learned a lot from this experience.
Real. Those up and downs, to the lowest point, humbled me. Made me see things in a different level and opened my heart to acceptance.
Everything feels bright and light when I let go of those intrusive thoughts.
For me, no matter how much I progress in life. You'll always be a friend to remember.
I still consider you one.
Ikaw lang naman kasi 1st ever online friend ko, or should I say 1st and last. Ayaw ko na. I'm really not into online searching. Diba? Never again!! Lesson learned hahaha
I'm carrying you here oh 👉🏻♡.
Don't worry, you aren't heavy in there. I made you my shield to protect it from anyone. Hahaha so drama Yana, kainis!!
Sorry if it is one of my qualities to be expressive.
Overwhelming ba? Just breathe in, breathe out. Hahahaha
I wish I am smart as you, 'cause they said smart people talk less and think more.
But all I do is yap and yap yapp yappp and even in real life I'm like this, madaldal ehehe(≖⩊≖)
Hindi sa nag seself pity ako, but I also think it's hard to deal with someone like me. Idc tho, hate me for what I am than to love me for who I'm not. (ctto)
Mikey, be true to yourself, okay?
People are naturally critics, do good all your life and do one mistake, they'll focus on the bad. Tendency, takot tayo ma judge.
I'm not that kind, I know the feeling so I will not judge anyone especially you. Promise!!
I understand what you are going through. Keep it up! Go improve, grow, until you are finally stable and capable of anything.
But never pause to self sabotage ha? I somehow think na nag gagaslight ka jan mag isa, wag oy.
If ever you go through a stage in life where you face some insecurities which is normal, always keep in mind that you are enough. YOU ARE ENOUGH. mmkay?
You don't have to be like this, or that. Being true to ourselves is power nobody can imitate and take away from us.
Don't be too harsh on the person you see in the mirror, aight?
All you can do for me is to take a good care of you. Likewise :)
I am once, twice, and thrice afraid to say my final goodbye to you... and to what could've been.
Fact, there's no easy way to say goodbye to people we don't want to go.
That's why it took me a long time :(
I've prepared myself so much for this moment I must do now.
Simple formula why I'm doing this is
FAITH > FEAR
You're smart. I don't need to elaborate, gets mo na yan.
Hmmm nasabi ko na ba lahat?
I don't wanna miss a thing
Ano pa ba?
Ohhhh, yeah.
Yung goodbye ko, it's a good kind of farewell.
I may be finally closing my door now, but we both know you still have the key.
So if ever you found it again within you,
as long as you can still remember me, Yana. Keep in mind that you can always approach me anytime, kahit after a year pa yan or for how long.
What I'm telling is I'm not gonna sit and wait for you anymore, I also have life and struggles here. We both do.
And if ever, there will be a next time around, let's not complicate things like how we messed up.
No more forcing any other than being friends.
Can't afford to repeat the history itself.
I highly value our connection that I don't wanna break it up to something that can possibly come with many conditions.
Sooooo yeaahhh
I'm letting you go na, outta my mind.
Go on, live your best life. :)
I wish you happiness and success, Mikey.
Last words before I end this message.
I trusted you,
so please put your trust in me too.
Okaaay!?
Ciao, cutesy Mikey.

Are you planning to learn Hindi but not sure where to start and how to choose a qualified teacher for yourself?
Learning Hindi can lead to fulfilling personal or professional relationships, a captivating literary world, and a rich cultural legacy. Now that online learning is so popular, finding a qualified Online Hindi Teacher is easier than ever. There are many possibilities, including self-paced courses, group classes, and one-on-one tutoring. However, how can you choose the best one for you?
It can be difficult to choose the best online Hindi tutor, particularly if you're just starting out and a newbie. In addition to assisting you in developing a solid vocabulary and grammar foundation, the ideal teacher should boost your self-esteem and make studying fun. The secret is to focus on what really counts: your objectives, your preferred method of learning, and the teacher's experience. We'll go over some of the important considerations in this blog to help you choose the best online Hindi instructor for your requirements. Let’s dive right in.
So, here are the top 3 factors to consider when you are looking for a qualified and great teacher to help you learn the language through an online platform:
Experience and Expertise: A teacher's ability to instruct you is greatly influenced by their educational and professional experiences. A seasoned instructor is aware of the typical difficulties that students encounter and may modify their teaching strategies accordingly. Seek out tutors with a track record of success or qualifications in teaching languages, such as degrees or certifications in Hindi. Teachers with cultural expertise can further enhance your education by incorporating information about Hindi customs, idioms, and contexts. This guarantees a greater comprehension of the language and makes learning more interesting.
Language Proficiency: Language competency is essential, particularly when learning a new language. For beginners, selecting an Online Hindi Tutor who can explain concepts in English or your native tongue can make a big difference because clear explanations make it easier to understand grammar rules, pronunciation, and vocabulary. For advanced learners, however, teachers who focus on engagement by teaching all of their lessons in Hindi may be beneficial because it can speed up fluency by forcing you to think and respond in the language. The teacher's ability to switch between languages as needed guarantees a seamless and successful learning process.
Methodology and Teaching Style: Every student has a different learning style, and the best teachers are those who modify their approach to fit your needs. While some people do well in sessions that are well-structured and have specific goals, others would rather have a more flexible and conversational approach. To make classes interesting and successful, a skilled educator incorporates interactive strategies, including role-playing, real-world examples, and multimedia resources. Additionally, they must be kind, encouraging, and flexible enough to change the tempo to accommodate your preferred rate of learning. When assessing a teacher's style and figuring out whether their method appeals to you, trial classes are incredibly helpful.
Conclusion
A successful language-learning journey starts with selecting the best online Hindi teacher. By emphasizing your objectives, assessing the teacher's qualifications, and making sure their teaching style works for you, you can make an informed decision. Keep in mind that the ideal teacher will not only teach you the language but also encourage you to appreciate its beauty and cultural diversity. So, now that you know about the essential factors to look out for when seeking Hindi tutors for online learning, make sure to choose the right platform. Additionally, also read and check the reviews and recommendations left by previous students.
