Pixel 9 Google receives Android 15 Beta 4 level version

Google Pixel 9 rumors
Google Pixel 9 Release Date
For Pixel smartphones that meet the requirements, Pixel 9 Google has released the fourth and final beta of Android 15, indicating that the stable version is quickly approaching. On August 13th, the firm is anticipated to formally announce Android 15, which will also be the day that its new Pixel 9 series smartphones which include a new foldable model are shown.
The main goals of this beta release are to ensure app developers’ compliance and improve the current functionality. Google said that Android 15 apps can now be found on the Google Play Store for beta OS users to download.
The PNG-based emoji typeface is being phased out in beta 4. This is one significant modification. Since version 13, Android has allowed vector emojis; nevertheless, for compatibility, the older PNG format has been kept. This removal implies that Google is satisfied that developers of apps have had enough time to switch to the more recent vector format.
Pixel devices are supported by Android 15 Beta 4
Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, and Pixel 6
Seven Pixels, Seven Pros, and Sevena
Pixel-Model Tablet
Folding Pixels
Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, and (anticipated) Pixel 8a
Several new features and enhancements were incorporated in earlier Android 15 beta releases, such as:
Private Spaces: A safe haven where confidential information and apps are kept apart in the operating system.
More Effective AV1 Video Decoder: Enhanced efficiency and performance of video playback.
App developers can now test their apps against the most recent Android 15 features and deprecated parts thanks to finalised APIs.
In the upcoming weeks and months, other Android manufacturers will release their own Android 15 updates, but for Pixel 9 Google, this beta represents the last round of testing. Android 15 is now being tested by Samsung, OnePlus, and Honour, each with their own unique UI.
Google Pixel 9 Price
The Google Pixel 9 series, introduced on August 13, 2024, will have many variants with different features and prices. The base Pixel 9 should cost $599–$799 in the US and €899 in Europe. The latest Tensor G4 chipset and 6.3-inch display will be included.
Introduction
Android 15 Beta 4 has been launched for Google Pixel devices, marking a major step towards the stable release of this much anticipated operating system. The latest beta release shows the improved features and additions likely to impact Android’s future as they eagerly await the Pixel 9 Google debut next month. In this detailed analysis, Pixel 9 examine Android 15 Beta 4, its highlights, and what to expect from the stable release and Pixel 9.
Android 15 Beta 4
Improved UI/Design
Android 15 Beta 4 has a gorgeous and intuitive UI overhaul. Google has improved the looks, making them more coherent and professional. The new Material You design language shines, enabling dynamic theming that matches the user’s background. The system UI, app icons, and menus are personalized and harmonized using this functionality.
Android 15 Beta 4 notification system prioritizes and groups notifications better. Using straightforward gestures and contextual actions, users can now easily control notifications and stay organised and focused. The beta version also improves quick settings for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and screen brightness.
System optimisation and performance gains
Android 15 Beta 4 performance has improved significantly thanks to Google. Internal improvements improve animations, app launches, and system performance in the latest release. Project Boost, a package of speed optimisation technologies, seeks to ensure a smooth user experience for older Pixel 9 Google.
This beta release prioritises battery longevity with power management capabilities. To better understand user habits and allocate power, Adaptive Battery has been refined. This extends battery life, especially for power-hungry apps.
Security and Privacy Improvements
In a privacy-focused era, Android 15 Beta 4 prioritises privacy and security. The new Privacy Dashboard shows app permissions and data access in detail. It clearly shows which apps have accessed sensitive data like location, camera, and microphone, empowering users to make data decisions.
Google also displays mic and camera indicators in the status bar for real-time feedback. User privacy is improved by this feature’s transparency and control over device sensors. On-device processing for sensitive tasks reduces data exposure to remote servers in the beta version.
New Features and Functions
Android 15 Beta 4 adds enhancements that improve user experience. One notable innovation is Universal Device Search, which lets users search apps, settings, and online results from a single interface. This saves time and effort by streamlining search.
Expanded Gesture Navigation provides more natural gesture controls, another intriguing feature. Multitasking is now easier and more fun with motions like swipe and hold for app previews.
Android 15 Beta 4 Digital Wellbeing capabilities let users track device usage and regulate screen time. Focus Mode and Bedtime Mode help users focus and develop good device habits.
Expectations for the Stable Release and Pixel 9 Launch
Feature and Upgrade Expectations
As Android 15 stable release approaches, beta features will be polished. Google will likely fix any remaining bugs and performance issues for a pleasant experience. Based on beta user feedback, the stable version should include further improvements.
The Pixel 9 and Android 15’s stable release are among the year’s most anticipated tech events. Google’s latest Tensor processor may increase AI in the Pixel 9 Google. Google’s smartphone photography reputation will be enhanced by the device’s updated camera system with computational photography skills.
Smooth Google Ecosystem Integration
Pixel devices integrate seamlessly with the Google ecosystem, a major benefit. This connection should be considerably smoother with Android 15, providing a consistent experience across devices. Google Assistant, Photos, and One will work together to create a productive and convenient ecosystem.
The Pixel 9 Google should feature 5G connectivity for higher download and upload speeds and better network performance. Users that stream, game, and use their devices for data-intensive activities will benefit.
Conclusion
Android 15 Beta 4 is a major advancement in the Android OS. The current beta version previews mobile technology’s future with its improved UI, performance, privacy, and functionality. Google is clearly devoted to providing a top-tier experience as eagerly await the stable release and Pixel 9 Google debut.
For device enthusiasts, Android 15 and the Pixel 9 will be game-changers. The forthcoming release provides something for everyone, whether you’re a techie, a photographer, or just want a solid smartphone.

What's New Features in Android 14

Google's Android 14 beta programme is well underway, with the main release scheduled for the end of summer 2023. We're now looking at Android 14 Beta 4, which is the most recent available update. We're still at least a month away from the final version, and in the meanwhile, there are a slew of new features to sift through and explore before the stable version arrives on all the latest and best Android phones. If you want a complete list of what's new and what to anticipate in Android 14, keep reading - there's a lot, and it's definitely a bigger version than Android 13, though it still doesn't compare to Android 12, which offered Google entire new features. Material You create
Android 14 release date, and supported devices
Android 14 maintains a similar release schedule to previous iterations. As you can see in the timetable below, we're looking at two developer previews, the first of which will be published in February and the second in March. Google launched the first beta on April 12, followed by Beta 1.1 two weeks later. Historically, the firm has saved some of the more intriguing consumer-facing updates until the release that coincides with its developer conference on May 10, Google I/O, as was the case this year. On stage, there were a few announcements about some interesting new features coming to Android 14. In the meanwhile, there were various bug-fixing releases, such as Beta 2.1 on May 25. According to the plan, Android 14 gained platform stability with the third beta in June. This implies that developers may create apps leveraging the new features and APIs offered in Android 14 without fear of further modifications before the release. A fourth beta was released in July, and the stable release will follow soon after. If history is any guide, the release date will most likely be around August or September .The beta programmer is compatible with the following Google Pixel devices: - Pixel Tablet - Pixel Fold - Pixel 7a - Pixel 7 & 7 Pro - Pixel 6a - Pixel 6 & 6 Pro - Pixel 5a 5G - Pixel 5 - Pixel 4a 5G The recently introduced Google Pixel 7a, Pixel Tablet, and Pixel Fold are now part of the beta programme, with Android 14 Beta 3 for the former and Android 14 Beta 4 for the latter two. On the opposite end of the spectrum, the Google Pixel 4a, which lacks the 5G component, will not see any beta releases. It is not certain to receive any updates beyond Android 13 as per Google's commitment of three software upgrades, and it does not appear that it will receive Android 14. The developer preview and early beta releases were, as usual, limited to the Google Pixel phone range. Following Google I/O, more phones from other manufacturers joined the beta programme, as has been the case with previous Android versions. You can presently acquire the Android 14 Beta on the following devices, albeit based on our hands-on experience with them, you should avoid installing Android 14 on them until it's more stable: - iQOO 11 - Lenovo Tab Extreme - Nothing Phone 1 - OnePlus 11 - Oppo Find N2 Flip - Realme GT2 Pro - Tecno Camon 20 Series - Vivo X90 Pro - Xiaomi 13 Pro - Xiaomi 13 - Xiaomi 12 Google has also made generic system images (GSIs) available for download, which can be installed on any phone that supports Project Treble. But before you go that way, make sure you know exactly how to install an Android beta. After the beta testing is over, we anticipate that Android 14 will be accessible on all modern Android phones as well as the flagship phones from the previous several years. Depending on your manufacturer, the deployment may take more than a few months. Samsung phones are often updated quite rapidly, within a few months after the initial release, but the same cannot be said for Asus, Motorola, and other manufacturers. What's new in Android 14 Beta 4 Google released Android 13 Beta 4 on July 11, right in the midst of Amazon's Prime Day shopping event. Barring any point releases for further bug fixes, this is supposed to be the last beta before Android 14 goes stable, likely in August or September the latest. There are a few more tweaks that make the new version of the OS ready for prime time, so let's dive right in. Android 14's Easter egg is finally here Every Android version contains a hidden Easter egg in the system settings, and Android 14 is no exception. The Easter egg has you launch a rocket, soaring across the wide nothingness of space with the chance to explore stars, planets, and more, in keeping with the Apollo 14-inspired logo for this edition. It's a fun little mini-game that you should certainly try out if you have Android 14.
You may access it, like in previous releases, by opening system settings, going to About phone Android version, and repeatedly and rapidly clicking the Android version entry. Then, long-press the Android 14 logo for a few seconds to launch the rocket, which includes haptic stimulation. Android 14 Beta 4 makes PIN entry slightly faster Many Android phones allow you to unlock your handset instantaneously by entering the right PIN without needing to press an additional enter button. Google has finally added this functionality to Pixel phones. When you have a PIN with six numbers or more, an option to turn on Auto-confirm unlock appears in system settings under Security & privacy Device unlock screen lock cog. The option is checked by default when you create a six-digit PIN, but you may uncheck it if you want not to reveal a burglar how many digits your PIN contains. When you enable the change, you will see outlines on your PIN entering page indicating how many numbers you need to write, and the enter button in the keyboard will be removed. As you press the keys, the outlines fill in. When you input an incorrect digit on the last outline, the entry area clears instantaneously, forcing you to completely repeat your PIN. The way themed icons are shown has been tweaked in Android 13 Beta 3, with more of your themed colour being used for the backdrop than previously. Many users were dissatisfied with the lower contrast in dark mode, and in Beta 4, Google has further adjusted the design to bring the icons back in line with their appearance in Android 13.

Android 14 adds new default profile images If you share your device with many individuals (as may be the situation with the Pixel Tablet), you must switch between various profiles. You may either use your own photos or rely on Android 14's slick new selection of preset graphics, which was discovered by Mishaal Rahman. Android 14 Beta 4 brings home screen customization to older Pixel phones Prior to the Pixel 6, home screen customization capabilities, like as the ability to pick different lock screen shortcuts or clocks, were inexplicably lacking from Pixel phones. Several owners verified in Mishaal Rahman's Twitter thread that they may now do so using Android 14 Beta 4. Android 14 makes your lock screen customizable Apple's iOS 16 allows extremely customised lock screens, and it seemed obvious that Google would have to respond at some time. That's the situation with Android 14. In Android 14 Beta 3, the business allows you to replace the default lock screen clock with a number of other options. Furthermore, you may select a more complicated interface that reorganises the other info on your lock screen, such as the current weather conditions and date. Surprisingly, Mishaal Rahman says that the personalization choices are unavailable on the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5. We can only hope that this is a glitch. If you don't want home automation or Google Wallet, you'll be able to switch to various fast action buttons at the bottom with Android 14. You may choose whether to easily access the QR code scanner, torch, Do Not Disturb or Mute, photo or video camera or nothing at all for a cleaner appearance. To activate the activities, you must now long-press the buttons, much as on iOS. In terms of parallels, you can reach the personalization choices by long-pressing the home screen, something Apple added to its operating system a time back. Android 14 offers new gesture navigation tutorials Many people are still unfamiliar with gesture navigation, and the navigation mechanism on the future Google Pixel Fold and Pixel Tablet with its taskbar is just growing more confusing. The two new additions to Google's portfolio are most likely the reason the firm opted to rework its gesture navigation instruction for phones, which is now also available through system settings.
Android 14 brings back the clock shortcut in the notification
Google loves to change the notification shade with each Android release, and Android 14 is no exception. The clock in the upper left corner has been turned into a tappable portion, allowing you to instantly access the Clock app without cluttering your home screen with yet another icon or widget. The feature appears and disappears in Android, and it was last deleted in Android 12 after being present on Pixel phones in Android 11. Android 14 gets a new mouse cursor Android 14 Beta 3 includes a new mouse pointer that appears a lot more contemporary and distinct than the existing Mac-like version, as observed by Tasker developer Joo Dias (via Mishaal Rahman). The new form resembles a triangle rather than a pointer, but it is still clear what function it serves. With Google's renewed interest in tablets and rumours of a Pro version of the Pixel Tablets circulating, it's understandable that it would want to refine productivity tools like these. How to Get the Android 14 Beta right now Android 14 is available for download for everyone. You can simply opt into beta testing via the Android Beta Program, and you'll get a normal system update like you know from normal Android releases. Of course, you can still learn how to manually install the Android 14 Beta on your Pixel phone, if that's your jam. Keep in mind that the software isn't as stable as a finalized release, so you should only install it when you have a spare phone or when you're okay with not being able to use your phone due to bugs. New OnePlus 12 Leaks Emerge, December Launch Date Predicted
A while back, we got word of what we might see with OnePlus' upcoming phone, the OnePlus 12 - while it's still yet to be announced, there's been an abundance of leaks all over the internet, and at this point it's safe to say that we have a better idea of what to expect, once OnePlus announces its next flagship handset. Previously, we highlighted some of the leaks that have been posted online, and since then there have been some new developments, which shouldn't come as a big surprise, especially given the frequency of consumer tech leaks and rumours nowadays. So what's new with the OnePlus 12? Let's take a look. Launch Date A while back, online tech tipster Yogesh Brar posted on Twitter saying that the OnePlus 12 is expected to have a December launch event, although no specific date was given. This date now seems to have been confirmed even more by a recent Twitter post from tech journalist Max Jambor, who likewise predicts a December release for the OnePlus 12. If true, this would be a most interesting development given that the previous OnePlus devices launches were held in January (OnePlus 11), and March (OnePlus 10 and 9 series). At this point it still isn't clear which regions might get the OnePlus 12 first, although it's strongly believed that the December launch will be kept exclusive for Chinese markets, with North America seeing a 2024 release. Internal Hardware and Cameras As for what's inside the phone, there have been rumours spotted on Chinese social networking site Weibo, which strongly suggest that the OnePlus 12 will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, a mobile SoC which still hasn't been released or announced yet, but we have little doubt is currently in development at the time being. It wouldn't be much of a surprise of course, especially given that OnePlus flagships always feature the latest high-end SoCs from Qualcomm. The phone might also come with a triple-camera array on the rear, with a 50-megapixel main Sony IMX sensor, a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens, as well as a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. Additionally, it looks like OnePlus will still retain the Hasselblad branding for the 12, at least for now. Previously, it was mentioned that the phone will come with a large 5,000 mAh battery, although newer intel suggests that the company might instead go with a larger 5,400 mah capacity. This would be a lot more ideal, especially if the 8 Gen 3 proves to be a power-hungry chip. This then brings to mind the concern for faster charging speeds, especially given this larger capacity battery (if confirmed). If older leaks are to be believed, the OnePlus 12 might feature 150W fast charging speeds, a feature not offered on a lot of Android devices in the US. This has since been updated however, and it's now thought that the phone will come with a more "conservative" 100W wired charging speed, with 50W wireless charging speeds. Nevertheless, both are still fast as far as most smartphones are concerned, and are a terrific feature. External Design In terms of design, it looks like OnePlus is taking some design cures from other companies such as Samsung and Apple, who have essentially reused flagship handset designs for a couple of generations now, as seen in the case of handsets like the iPhone 13 and 14, and the Galaxy S22 and S22 Ultra. As such, a recent batch of images from tech website Smartprix and OnLeaks show that the OnePlus 12 might end up looking familiar - a little too familiar, in fact. The renders show a design that's very reminiscent of the OnePlus 11, indicating that the 12 will resemble its older sibling in several visual aspects, such as the device's rear panel. The OnePlus 12 is predicted to come with a very similar look to its predecessor, including the same circular styling of the camera module, as well as the off-centre placement on the back. The renders also show a curved display, something that we've seen on several OnePlus phones already, and it looks like the company will be using a 6.7-inch display, with 2K pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. In other OnePlus news, the company is expected to launch its first-ever foldable soon. For those not in the know, the company confirmed back in March that it will be developing a foldable Android handset, and will be competing against the likes of Samsung and Google in the foldable market. Going back to the OnePlus 12, the company's next phone is certainly shaping up to be a terrific Android flagship, and there's little doubt that brand loyalists and OnePlus fans have a lot to look forward to once it makes its debut. OnePlus 11 Marble Odyssey Edition: A Special Variant Coming Soon to India
OnePlus is set to reignite interest in the OnePlus 11 by introducing a special edition variant in India. The company is planning to launch the Marble Odyssey edition, which promises unique design elements. Let's delve into the details of this upcoming release. We are getting advice that the telephone will possess Camera Outback that has been created for Pop-Up Selfie Camera and a nicely hidden earpiece to a One-3rd. Although the amount is still not understood, this will come at a price yet. But on most occasions, you would observe that even with the 5 bars network sign on your 4G enabled phone, surfing the internet, creating video calls, or even uploading massive files can sometimes be annoyingly tardy, especially during rush hours. This is because of congestion. The elastic limit of 4G technologies concerning data transfer is being exceeded, therefore, the debut of the Fifth Generation media technology to the market. OnePlus 8 is going to seem more like a Samsung smartphone if the signs around are anything to go by. A few of its features are very similar to its predecessor-OnePlus 7. But potentials buyers have to, however, be prepared to part with more than a thousand US dollars to find this smartphone when it is finally out. Because of its specs, expect a 6.2 Inches Display, Snapdragon 855 Chipset, and a battery capability of 4200mAh, assuming that Xiaomi does not make a last-minute swipe its earlier strategy. It is set to function to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus Chipset which is especially suitable for gaming. There is that the Google Pay app nicknamed OnePlus Pay which can come preloaded using this smartphone that is forthcoming. The app's role would be to permit payments to be made by users . But it appears that this feature may only be present in India, because that's the sole place where it has been shown. Nevertheless, it's also likely to retain a few of its predecessors' features such as different colour options, speedy 45W charging, plus also a detector for heartbeat. It is not clear however if it'd have the 3.5millimeter Headphone Jack, though. Microsoft are also joining smartphone producers' league next year, considering that its Andromeda smartphone that has been rumored to be more pliable.
This is something every Microsoft enthusiast is patiently waiting to determine. Accessible reports stage becoming buttonless and clamshell-designed. In appearance, it may take the appearance of this Microsoft Surface Notebook. Zones or not all countries are put with this 5G technology, anyway. However, the likes of China, the US, Australia, Norway, and Japan are on their methods to explore this media technology considerably. You need to expect some wonderful 5G smartphones which can upscale your data transfer expertise ahead of time, if you are in one of these regions. As 2019 gradually strikes off, players from the industry are planning to unleash their plans for the year 2020. The processor that this upcoming phone will operate is going to be Silicon Kirin 990 Chipset, which has been proven to operate perfectly with Huawei Mate 30. Both its own Pro and the P40 should not exceed $1000 if they're finally in the industry. It's clear that the telephone manufacturer has trademarked G9 and G10, although LG has been able to maintain a good deal of information regarding this flagship smartphone away from the general public. This takes the speculation of if LG is releasing a new cellphone in 2020 or maybe not. Expectant buyers should prepare yourself to pay $819 for all these dual-lens camera phones. Once you compare it with its 13, this cost is Decent enough. But , LG G9 ThinQ is not likely to function as a 5G telephone, and might not also arrive with the 3.5mm Headphone Jack, particularly considering that Samsung's brand new release also will not be having it. This Microsoft smartphone that is anticipated will perform more like a tablet computer, when it's fully unfolded. But if folded, it is going to assume the function of a telephone. Although with lots of helpful apps expectedly, Microsoft Andromeda will run on Windows OS. As several sources project less, the purchase price is not predicted to exceed $1000. Huawei is not going to let by without breaking out flagship tablets. We are already getting signs that P40 & P40 Pro may be the handset to be anticipated from this Chinese manufacturing giant that is smartphone.
And going by precedence, in which Huawei constantly releases its new cellphone model after an MWC, it could be safe to conclude the time for this new phone from Huawei would be around March 2020. And from accessible information on the internet, this amazing handset is placed to take a whopping 8G RAM for its 256GB model, and a 64MP rear and rear camera. This is much more than the capability of laptops and notebook computers. Similarly, feelers have hinted this smartphone will probably come in three variants viz: 256GB (8G RAM), 128GB (6G RAM), and 64GB (4G RAM) just like its predecessor, Nokia 8.1 1. Huawei P40 1. iPhone X Foldable by Apple Having a suggested 6.2 inches screen, this forthcoming Xiaomi Mi 10 will probably operate on the improved battery life of 5000mAh. This is upscale of its predecessor which was strong. It's a telephone that is really worth the wait. When and if that rumor comes into reality in 2020, we can expect this phone to sell between $2500 and $3000. So, realizing Apple among the grandmasters of premium smartphones, this cost isn't very likely to have been overpowering. Smartphones have been shown to be a wonderful blessing to this production in lots of ways. From communication to net surfing and social interaction that is rich, it is simply unthinkable the society like ours will probably exist without it. In reality, it's possible that you are currently viewing this page in your smart device. That is just how much we have all been ingrained into such microcomputers that are cellular. Therefore, if telephones turn into an idea that many individuals cherish, there's no reason to not think that this foldable RAZR from Motorola will not rule the planet. Needless to say, the purchase cost of this smart phone will be based on the version you are considering. It's anticipated the 256GB will charge the greatest. Going by previous costs of Nokia smart phones and the incredible specs of the model, it's possible it will not market less than $1000. Reports and rumors have linked this RAZR as taking a few clues from the likes of Mate X by Huawei and Galaxy Fold by Samsung. While the ordinary aesthetics of the RAZR mobile might be maintained, this brand new release may have a larger Frame cum tall and big screen (indoors ) whereas the exterior will have a more compact Screen. Whoever is that this phone will sell for $1500, and may operate on an Snapdragon that is inferior, in contrast to its predecessor. What to Expect in 2020If the hints dropped by Nokia at its 2019 IFA Press Conference is anything to go by, subsequently, by ancient 2020, smartphone enthusiasts can expect a superior 5G handset from Nokia. Rumor has it that this 5G Android device from Nokia will be to be christened Nokia 8.2. The processor where it is anticipated to run is that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 735 chipset, which is still underway. However, by the very last days of 2019, this stage should've been ready.
