Hi, Can you for Nezuko!reader x Whitebeard crew. So just basically in the Demon slayer world Nezuko was hit with a blood demon art and just appeared on Whitebeard ship.
(Extra if you want: Nezuko wanting to be friends with Izou because he has pretty kimonos)
-They didn’t know where you came from or even what you were, when you suddenly dropped out of the sky, literally, from what looked to be a fiery portal made of black fire, landing hard on the desk of the Moby Dick.
-You looked like a teenage girl when you first arrived, looking terribly injured, one of your legs and both of your arms missing, growling darkly at them all like you were some kind of animal.
-When you suddenly grew your missing limbs, instantly healing your wounds, many thought they were in for a fight, until you realized you were in the sunshine, which used to hurt, but it didn’t, and you calmed, looking up at the sun in awe.
-Whitebeard lowered his weapon first and the others quickly did the same, following his example as you calmed down, not aggressive anymore but you shocked everyone by your form changing to that of a child’s, shrinking down before you tipped over and were fast asleep.
-You slept for several days, curled into a little ball in Marco’s room, as he was the one watching you, minding your status, as well as inspecting you, finding that you had fangs and claws like a demon, but no demon they had ever seen before.
-When you woke up, you wandered around like a lost puppy, like you were looking for something, peeking into rooms, looking under tables, following others around, hoping they would lead you to your brother, who didn’t arrive with you.
-When you arrived on the deck, looking up at the massive man known as Whitebeard, not being able to find your brother, you fell to your rear and tears quickly welled in your eyes as you started crying, your mouthpiece falling from your mouth.
-You quickly sent the ship into a panic, wondering why you were crying, but Whitebeard could feel something, like he could sense the reason behind your tears as he easily picked you up, putting you on his knee, trying to comfort you, “It seems Y/N is missing someone- perhaps that portal she came through had someone she left behind and can’t get back to them now.”
-You looked up at him through teary eyes, his words sounded right, like what he was explaining, as you couldn’t find your big brother. Whitebeard announced that you were now adopted by him and his crew and everyone on the ship became your big brothers.
-You were a curious child, always exploring and popping up in the oddest places, and you would follow certain crew members around like a duckling, with your favorites being Izo, because his clothes were familiar to you, Thatch, because he always made you tasty food, which you could now eat, Marco, who was like your protector and you slept with him, and Whitebeard, because he felt safe and comforting.
-Despite not looking overly powerful, you quickly proved yourself when the marines tried to attack, attacking your new family, and they were all stunned when your form changed to your teenage form, showing that you were able to change forms based on how much power you had stored.
-When you shifted into your adult form, however, the vines covering your skin, your fangs and nails growing, you quickly handled business, easily taking care of the marines who dared to attack your family.
-When you arrived back on the ship Izo ran to you, scolding you for being so indecent, as your kimono had fallen open, showing off your chest and legs, while you tilted your head, confused by his anger before you shrank back down to your teenage form.
-Whitebeard just boomed with laughter, finding it amusing that you were so strong, at least physically, as they all knew you were a bit fragile mentally, as you would cry at random times, looking up at the sky or out across the ocean, missing whoever you were missing.
-There were also times when you would remember your mother, when you would see one of your brothers needing comfort, mimicking her, comforting them in your own way, doing your best.
-You were a surprise on the ship, but you weren’t unwelcome, and you felt safe with them, and while you never stopped looking for and missing your brother, you at least had a family who you could call your own in this new world.

Heyy how are you Hope you're doing well and have some food and drink water you need it🫶
So about the request i was wondering if you would be able to make a modern au i am not really sure if you write modern au but if you don't want to make it modern au it's totally fine
It's a scenario with marco adopting a girl (maybe 10-11) who's tomboyish and making her his daughter and basically the whitebeard pirates being whitebeard company (if you write modern au) with pops as the ceo of course and them being a huge family. (I swear they are really family i want what they have💞)
i can imagine izo telling everyone you people can't handle a girl there need's to be a bit of feminine only for the girl to run away cause she found him intimidating but at the end they bond.
Also please can you include the ASL trio as if they are a part of the whitebeard family
I personally had this idea for so long and thought a lot about it that's why i want to see it come to life thank you so much for this chance🥹
Love ya
Hello my dear! So yes, I do write modern AUs, lol. Sorry I didn't get this out sooner, life has been... a pain. BUT! it's out! I hope it's alright, I had a hard time wrapping up the ending. In any case, enjoy!
Warnings: Platonic WBP x Reader, platonic ASL x reader, female!Reader

Looking down at the little girl in front of him, Marco could feel his heart aching. He couldn’t imagine she was more than 10, 11 tops, but here she was, huddling under what little shelter she could find, trying to stay out of the rain. Walking in over to her, he held his umbrella out a little, covering her as well as he kneeled down. Looking up at him, e/c eyes looked up at him in curiosity and… was it… fear?
“What are you doing out here, little one? Surely you have somewhere you can go to escape the rain.” he asked softly, reaching out and placing his hand on her head. The little girl simply shook her head, looking down at the ground sadly. Marco’s expression twisted into a troubled one as he stared at her for a moment, “Come with me. I’ll get you out of this rain and get you something to eat, you look hungry.” Marco offered, holding his hand out for the little girl. She timidly looked down at his hand before looking up at him. He looked like a kind man, nothing like those who sought to kidnap her or hurt her. Tentatively, she took his hand, allowing him to lead her away.
That had been 4 months ago. After taking her to the office with him, she’d immediately stolen the hearts of all the divisions, though it was a toss up as to if HR loved her more or R&D. No, no, neither of those were correct. The ones who loved her most were Marco and the company’s owner, Edward ‘Whitebeard’ Newgate. It hadn’t taken a lot to adopt the girl, once she’d finally been willing enough to give them a name and her previous orphanage. None of them had known much about her, but it was clear that she was a little cautious, something that none of them had much cared for. She was far too young to be this distrustful of people.
Sitting in his office, Marco smiled as he watched his new daughter play in the, now renovated, room next door. The very instant the adoption papers had been signed, Pops had begun renovating what had once been an office next to Marco’s, turning it into a playroom of sorts for her so that when she wasn’t at school, the entire building could come and fawn over her instead of leaving her with a daycare, something they had all been vehemently against. Crawling into one of the human sized hamster tunnels, she was immediately off once more, ruffling the new dress Izo had gotten her. The man would sigh, but leave it be. So long as she was happy, it seemed that the rest of the office was as well.
Hearing his office door slam open, Marco couldn’t help but jump, looking up to see a familiar straw hat and smile.
“Is Y/n in here? Ace said she was in here!” Luffy asked excitedly, running towards the door to the playroom before Marco could answer. Even though the boy was a good 7 years older than her, he seemed to be her closest friend, the two of them often getting lost in the tunnels together as they ‘adventured’ across the building, the human hamster tunnels winding through almost all of the offices of the upper two floors.
“Luffy! Get back here! You made a promise to Ace and I! Homework first then Y/n!” Sabo shouted, running into Marco’s office soon after and joining Luffy in the tunnels. The older blond could only laugh as Sabo chased after Luffy and Luffy chased after Y/n. Pops had taken Ace in after the death of the boy’s parents, being Ace’s godfather. Roger and Pops might have been rival companies, but contrary to what the press often said, had been surprisingly good friends. Sabo had been taken in after Ace, Pops filing for custody against Sabo’s parents after a fire left the boy with horrible burn scars. The one he wasn’t sure of, however, was Luffy. The boy had his own home, perhaps not the most attentive father, but a good man. His grandfather had found a… nanny to take care of him from time to time, yet the boy had still wound up with Ace and Sabo more often than not. Still, it seemed to be for the best since Luffy and Y/n got along, so he couldn’t be upset.
Another bang made Marco jump, seeing Ace and Izo in his doorway.
“Marco! Did Luffy and Sabo come this way? Sabo called me saying that he was chasing Luffy and they were headed this way!” Ace asked, making the man smile.
“In the tunnels, best of luck, don’t forget to take off your shoes.” Marco said, gesturing towards the tunnels, the black haired young man soon darting after his brothers.
“She’s in the tunnels again?! But… but I just got her that dress!” Izo said with a sigh, looking down rather dejectedly, making Marco laugh.
“And she loves it… when it isn’t hindering her ability to move.” Marco said, thinking to this morning when he had her put it on for school. He wasn’t lying, she’d been rather happy with the dress, finding that it wasn’t too restrictive, it was comfortable, and it was cute.
“I haven’t even gotten to see her in it. By later today, it’ll probably be too covered in dirt and scuff marks. How is she supposed to learn to be feminine when she spends all her time around Ace, Sabo, and Luffy!” Izo grumbled, tucking a strand of loose hair back.
“I’m sure she’ll be fine. Once she warms up to you more, you’ll no doubt be able to dress her up as much as you’d like.” Marco said with a comforting smile as the man in front of him sighed in defeat.
“I don’t know why she doesn’t like me, Marco. I’ve tried being nice to her, but she always runs behind someone else.” Izo lamented, crossing his arms as he stood in the doorway.
“It’s because of your first meeting. You pushed everyone aside to meet her, carrying a dress. She figured that anyone that can push away that many people so easily while managing not to rip a dress was terrifying.” Marco said with a chuckle. Izo sighed and nodded, his shoulders sagging as he leaned against the doorframe.
“I suppose you have a point. Everyone here is rather tall, aren’t they? Well… tell her there’s some mochi in the fridge for her. It’s a recipe I learned from Toki.” Izo said, turning to leave.
“You… made me mochi?” a small voice called out, drawing Izo’s attention to the glass playroom doors. Izo smiled gently as he looked at her, nodding.
“Yes. Your favorite, in fact. Marco told me what you like, so I thought you might enjoy some in the form of mochi.” Izo said softly, his heart melting at her smile.
“Thank you, Mister Izo. I’m… I’m sorry about getting your dress dirty.” she said, moving to dust the front of her dress off as if that would help.
“It’s alright, little one. How about you and I go shopping one of these days. I’ll buy you something we can both agree on.” Izo said, feeling himself becoming putty for the little girl. Much like the others, he’d already adored her, but Marco was pretty sure she could get Izo to kill for her with that little smile alone.
“Y/n, why don’t you go with Izo now to get that mochi. You can eat it while you finish up the other half of that homework.” Marco suggested, watching Izo smile at the idea of her going with him to get the mochi. Looking down at her dress, her brow furrowed as she once more attempted to wipe the scuff marks out of the knees.
“Don’t worry, little one, I’ll get you something better when we go shopping.” Izo said softly, giving her a warm smile. Almost as if a switch flipped, Y/n was smiling at him and running over, happily taking his hand as he led her away. Marco smiled and sighed softly, watching his daughter walk towards the break room. Even as Luffy ran out of the play area, Sabo and Ace hot on his heels, he couldn’t help but find himself feeling content. The company had always been a family to him; chaotic, loud, and messy, but a family, and seeing his daughter warming up to Izo, playing with Ace, Sabo, and Luffy, and often seeing her with Pops, he couldn’t help but feel more and more like a real family. Even if the family was the entire company.

It's the thought - Izo x Reader
Look, I know I am supposed to be writing Spooktober things now, but I couldn't really let this pass without at least a little writing. So without any further ado, enjoy a little celebratory blurb for the one true love of my life, Izo! 2nd person. GN reader. Modern AU
Tumblr media
It was a beautiful fall day: the leaves on the trees had been turning all shades of crimson, orange and yellow, and the temperatures had lowered from the scorching summer heat to something more pleasant, without being actually cold. Fall had officially started, and you were absolutely enjoying the atmosphere.
You were home alone for now, making use of the time you had to yourself to warm up the oven and get to baking. For fall, pumpkin spice everything seemed like the obvious choice- but not today. Today you had an entirely different mission: bake your boyfriend a cake. You had found a recipe online that was beginner-friendly yet ambitious: two layers and a cream frosting, soft pink details and strawberries. They were out of season now, but you knew how much Izo loved them, and you wouldn’t spare any effort for his birthday.
You’d been a little sad to be hearing he’d still be working today, as you had hoped he’d maybe take the day off for his birthday, but he’s never made a big deal out of it.
“When you’re my age, y/n, it truly doesn’t matter much anymore. It’s just another day. But, if you’d like, we can go out to dinner, the two of us?”
You had -of course- agreed, but since you were home anyway, you had decided that you wanted to surprise him as well. After all, he made such an effort of surprising and pampering you throughout the year, with little thoughtful gifts, flowers to make your house an even more beautiful place, takeout of your favorite meals whenever you were too tired to cook…
So you had gone out, purchased all the ingredients for a cake (and some more, just in case something went wrong), his favorite flowers, and put those in a vase on the table. You had made a card with a handwritten love letter earlier, and had now put it next to the vase and a little box that was neatly wrapped with a rose gold paper. Inside was a watch you had seen him eye a couple times before, but never purchasing it, because he felt like it was too expensive for a watch, especially since he still had one that was working perfectly fine still.
The oven signaled that it was done preheating, and you practically jumped from the sound, already confused how time was flying by so fast; you had barely set the table with gifts and hadn’t even started measuring and weighing the ingredients. You let the oven sit like that for now and got to quickly prepping the ingredients. Once preparations were over, it didn’t take too long for you to actually do the recipe. You made sure to follow the recipe to the letter, knowing that baking was more of a precision job than cooking usually was.
When the cake was finally in the oven, you cleaned up the counter and prepared the frosting. After that, you let the cake cool down on the counter while you tidied up the house. You opened up a window to let the room air out, and went upstairs to take a shower and get ready for your dinner date already. That way you could focus on cake decorating until Izo got home, and leave for the restaurant whenever he was ready, You didn’t want him to have to wait for you.
You put on your favorite music while washing up, loudly singing along and already imagining what the evening was going to be like. You were getting excited when-
You heard some noises downstairs, and even though the shower was running hot, you suddenly got cold shivers.
You then heard some yelling, and were ready to panic until you recognized the voice.
“Izo?” you walked downstairs carefully, nothing but a towel wrapped around your frame, still dripping wet, being careful not to slip.
“Y/n?” You sighed in relief when you realized it was in fact Izo who had come home much earlier than anticipated. Your relief was short lived when you realized your surprise was a little ruined now, and then replaced by worry when you saw his face, confused and not at all the way you had expected him to look when he saw what you were preparing.
“What was that sound?” You walked up to him, giving him a brief kiss, whispering a happy birthday against his lips. “Well… I will assume you were preparing a surprise for me?” You nodded, and he chuckled. “Did you by any chance leave food out and a window open?” You closed your eyes, cursing as you realized what had probably happened. “I think the neighborhood cat was just as surprised as you were to find me home early.” You walked into the kitchen with him, only to find little pawprints in frosting all over, and the cake that was cooling down ruined with tooth marks and paw- and clawprints and more frosting smeared all over. At the very least it looked like the creature hadn’t ingested too much, so you were sure it would be fine. You looked over at the table, relieved to see that at least your gift setup wasn’t bothered by the cake thief either.
Still, your relief was replaced with sadness, as you did put in all the effort. You felt your bottom lip tremble as you took in the view, only to be pulled out of your thoughts by a strong arm around your waist. Izo pulled you into his side, chuckling softly.
“I wanted to surprise you. You seemed a little deflated that I didn’t want to celebrate beyond going out for dinner, so I wanted to see if we could maybe have a fun afternoon. I got off a little early, only to see that you were preparing something as well”
You nodded.
“It was going to be a strawberry cake, your favorite” “Does that mean you have fresh strawberries in the fridge?” You didn’t see it, but you could hear the smile in his voice. “Yes”, you smiled as well. “And you got my favorite flowers,” he said, walking up to the table, taking you along with him with one arm still wrapped around your waist, the other softly touching the flowers, studying the arrangement. You looked at his face, admiring him instead of the flowers.
“Thank you.”
He turned to you before even opening the card or the present, and you smiled, suddenly feeling a little embarrassed about the whole situation: the failed surprise, the mess that the kitchen was, the fact that you were not ready, standing there shivering in your towel.
“You’re welcome, I wish it was mo-”
He shushed you with another kiss, effectively taking away most of your worries and otherwise negative feelings. He had that effect on you, immediately making you feel better with nothing but a loving gesture. "It's perfect”
You had no choice but to replace your frown with a smile as well.
“let me get dressed then, and then… we’ll celebrate”  "And maybe clean up a little as well"

Little Stowaway
Tumblr media
08/09/23 TW: Child Slave, alludes to past child abuse and neglect, four grown men try to figure out what to do with a small girl.
Summary: 273 is a nameless child slave with only a number for identity, who hopes to escape her abusive captors. During a fight with another pirate crew, the perfect opportunity to run presents itself. She sneakily manages to stowaway on the new pirates' ship and hides herself. But what will happen when the crew of this infamous ship finds her before she has a chance to leave for land?
Marco runs his hand through his hair and sighs in frustration. Throughout the day he keeps picking up a presence on the ship, but like a light breeze, it’s gone as soon as it appears. For someone to be able to hide their presence like this, they were certainly worthy of being considered a danger in Marco’s books.
It’s late and Pops as well as a good deal of the crew have retired for the night, so Marco convinces himself it isn’t an imminent enough threat to concern Pops and instead, he decides to speak to Thatch about it.
Finding Thatch was easy, he is setting up for tomorrow’s breakfast in the galley. “Oi Thatch, I need you to keep an eye out. I think there’s someone on the ship. But they’re trying to hide their presence so it makes it hard to track them.”
Thatch stops cutting the onions and turns to look at Marco with a frown. “You think they’re a threat?” He asks seriously.”
Marco just runs a hand through his hair and shrugs. “Who knows. But I’d rather keep up my guard than not yoi.”
Thatch nods in understanding. He is going to say something else but at that moment  Izo walks into the galley and looks curiously between Marco and Thatch. “You two look rather concerned. Anything I should know?” He calmly raises an elegant brow.
Marco sighs as he replies to Izo, “I think we have a stowaway. I catch glimpses of their presence only for it to disappear again. I’m wondering whether someone from the ship we decided to take down earlier decided to sneak on board in hopes of getting revenge on us for crushing them yoi.”
Izo contemplates for a moment before he speaks up, “But if they wanted revenge, why haven’t they acted on it yet?”
Thatch shrugs. “Maybe they’re waiting for a good opportunity?”
“Well regardless of their plan, we better keep our eyes open yoi.” Marco warns the two who nod in agreement.
Later that evening Izo is taking a stroll around the ship, just checking that everything is in order and nothing is amiss when he hears some light shuffling coming from behind the crate boxes that hadn’t been put away yet. Curious and concerned about Marco’s words, he listens carefully, his hand on his gun. But after standing there for a while, Izou concludes that this doesn’t sound like the movements of a trained fighter, especially not when a small sneeze is heard. With a theory formed in his head, Izou heads to Thatch for resources to put his plan to work.
Thatch is undoubtedly incredibly confused about why Izo wants the buns from Lunch, even telling him that if he’s hungry he’ll just make him something fresh to eat, but on Izou’s refusal he gives in and hands the plate over, grumbling all the while.
Returning to the pile of crates, Izo leans against them and places the plate on a low crate next to him, then, opening a newspaper he pretends to be busy.
Way quicker than he expected, the shuffling returns, and hesitantly a small hand reaches up to the crate and towards the plate of buns.
Acting quickly, Izo leans down and packs up the small figure under the arms, lifting them up to see the culprit.
His eyes soften at the sight in his arms. A scruffy-looking girl who can’t be more than six is staring at him with green eyes wide with fear. He sighs and does his best to give her a soft smile. "It’s alright I won’t hurt you, but there is someone we need to go and talk to.” Then still holding her under his arm, he picks up the plate of buns off the floor and heads back to the kitchen.
“You’re back this quick-!?” Thatch’s words are cut midpoint as he turns around and sees the small figure that Izo is still holding.
“Izo, who is that!?” Thatch yells loudly as he continues to stare at the girl who’s desperately trying to disappear in Izo’s arms.
“Shh! Do you plan on waking up the whole ship Thatch!?” Izo angrily hisses but then calms himself down. “Thatch, can you go and find Marco?  I’m worried she’ll try to run if I let her go. Tell him I’ve found his stowaway.”
Still staring at the girl in shock, Thatch nods but fills a pitcher with water and looks around for a small cup the girl can have. “Tch I don’t think we have anything small for her to drink from and I could of at least heated those buns before you gave them to her.” Thatch eventually takes a sake cup and puts it down in front of Izo and the girl before heading out to find Marco.
Meanwhile, Izo puts the girl down next to him but keeps a light grip on her shoulders as he tells her, “We won’t hurt you. You can have these buns and there’s also water. But eat slowly.”
The girl watches him carefully, like a small spooked animal ready to flee for its life, but eventually hunger wins over and she quickly takes a bun and starts to devour it. Then another and another. She takes gulps of water in between to help her swallow them and Izo refills the sake glass. He watches the girl with a frown on his face, he’s curious about how long she’s been hiding from them and who exactly she is. Judging from her appearance she wasn’t treated well wherever she is from.
The door opens and in comes Thatch with Marco by his side.
Marco’s eyebrows shoot up at the sight of the little girl and Thatch just shrugs his shoulders next to him. “I did tell you, you need to see it for yourself.”
Marco sighs and sits down next to the girl who flinches, bumping into Izo who steadies her so she doesn’t end up falling off the stool. Marco holds up his arms in surrender and smiles. “Woah woah I won’t hurt you yoi. say kid, do you have a name?”
She tenses up, watching the three men warily but responds, “273 or girl, or you.” She responds and continues to devour the last few buns.
Her response has the three men stunned into silence as they look at each other with serious faces. Who doesn’t have a name and is just a number?
Alright kiddo, how about your age? How old are you?” Thatch asks with a small smile.
She frowns and shakes her head. “I don’t know.”
“You.. don’t know?” Thatch asks hesitantly.
She shakes her head and avoids eye contact.
“What exactly… should we do Marco? She’s not a threat… but she did stowaway.” Izo asks with a frown.
“But She’s a very cute stowaway” Thatch smiles and pinches the girl's cheek who looks very lost at the words.
Marco sighs and takes off his glasses, rubbing his eyes tiredly, looking like he aged another ten years in the time they've been in the kitchen. “Kid, where did you come from and why are you on this ship?”
“I wasn’t trying to be trouble! I just want to go away! I thought this ship would stop on the island and I could leave when everyone was asleep. But then you didn’t and I ended up stuck here.” She hurriedly tells them while wildly shaking her head.
“Alright did you come from the ship with the Jolly Roger that has an eyepatch?” Marco asks and she nods.
“What are we going to tell pops?” Thatch asks the question on everyone’s minds.
“What are we telling pops?” A tired voice asks and all three men’s heads shoot in the direction of the door where Ace is yawning.
Ace suddenly stops in his tracks and stares at the girl sitting next to Izo. His eyes widen and he points at her. But before he has a chance to say anything, Thatch hisses at him.“Shh ace close the door! Do you want the whole ship to hear?!”
Ace does as he’s told and goes to sit opposite Izo and the girl. “Soo who is this? Do one of you have a secret child you suddenly found out about?” Ace teases them with a grin.
Thatch’s eyebrow twitches and he hits Ace over the head.
Marco just sighs for what feels like the hundredth time that night. “We found her hiding behind the crates or technically Izo found her and managed to get a hold of her. We were just discussing what to tell pops tomorrow in regards to her yoi.”
Ace looks at the girl and grins, “Heh, you’re a cute stowaway aren’t you?”
“See? That’s what I said.” Thatch smugly tells the others
“Alright, we can’t show her to pops like this. Missy you’re going to need a bath. Any volunteers yoi?” Marco asks as he points at the girl.
Ace shrugs, “ You’re the doctor.”
Thatch points at Izo, “Izo found her.”
Izo looks at Ace with a scowl. “Aren’t you the one with younger siblings?”
“Sibling, Luffy is younger than me and Sabon was the same age as me. And don’t you also have a younger sibling Izo? Also, as one of the people with the longest hair, you’re probably the best suited for fixing… this…” Ace shrugs before he gestures to the girls matted hair.
Izo sighs, giving in. “Fine, but find her something to wear. She can’t walk around in this.” he gestures at the threadbare dress that just about goes above her knees. With that, Izo stands up and smiles down at the girl. “Come on then, time for a bath.” He doesn’t wait for a response before he scoops her up into his arms and heads to the infirmary bathroom.
After the bath, Izo dries the girl off and wraps a towel around her. Then still in a towel he sits her down on a chair and takes a look at her matted hair. He takes an old brush of his and sets to work on trying to detangle the bird's nest on her head.
Unfortunately, even though it was drowned in conditioner, this mess is simply beyond the help of a hairbrush. A quick look down at the girl shows she’s got a white grip on the chair and trembling eyes that are desperately trying to hold back tears.
He sighs and puts the brush down, “I’m sorry little one, I should have just gone to the easiest option from the beginning. Let’s give you a bit of a makeover alright?” With that, he picks up the scissors and carefully sets on cutting her hair into a manageable state.
Sometime later Izou stands back to observe his work. Her once tangled hair that resembled a bird’s nest is now up to her chin and waving slightly. After a moment of thinking, Izou also gives her a fringe. Now, Izo can’t help but smile. This, he decides is a massive improvement from her earlier state.
The night is chilly, so he dries her hair off with the towel and then dresses her in the spare shirt one of the guys found for her. It’s long enough to touch the floor and too wide so he wraps the sash that comes with it around her several times to secure it a bit more to her tiny body. Due to a lack of child-sized socks and shoes, her feet will, unfortunately, have to remain bare for now.
Izo nods at his finished handiwork, meanwhile, big green eyes just blink at him in confusion while looking down at the clothes she was wearing in awe.
Meeting up with the others in the kitchen Izo puts her back down on the chair that she unfortunately  has to kneel on to be able to see the top of the table.
“What happened to her hair?!” Thatch almost drops his drink in shock.
Izo just sighs. “It wasn’t cooperating so it had to go. Besides, this is for the better. It can grow out healthily now”
“You still look cute, don’t worry and you’ve got a lovely hair colour.” Ace tells her as he gestures to her reddish brown locks with a smile.
She shyly smiles and looks down at her lap.
“Anyways, while you’ve been gone Izo, it’s been decided that she’ll sleep in the infirmary and I’ll stay there with her. I’m the morning, I’ll go explain the situation to pops and one of you will stay with her until I come and get you yoi.”
Marco finishes and looks at the girl who’s fighting to keep her eyes open and is leaning against Izo.
Pfft Marco has to look away to not laugh at the adorable sight. He has never seen Izo so soft with someone before, over a span of a few hours this girl has somehow managed to worm her way to his caring side.
After they finish discussing what to do with the girl who’s now asleep in Izou’s lap and solidifying their plan for tomorrow, it's decided everyone should try and get some rest.
Seeing as the girl is holding onto his sleeve and refuses to let go even in her sleep, Izo has no choice but to pick her up and carry her to the infirmary with Marco having gone ahead to get her a bed ready.
In the infirmary he gives up trying to free her hands from his haori and just carefully takes it off and lets her cuddle up with it.
The action makes Izo smile. He hopes pops will go easy on her tomorrow, she’s so small and deserves to have a chance for a better life.
One last look at the sleeping girl and a goodnight to Marco he leaves for his own room, tomorrow is going to be a long day.

He makes his acquaintance.
You can start again.

Beauty and the Beast 4
Y/N’s father was trembling, as the beast itself was so much bigger than you and radiated terror and brutal force. The beast had pure black fur with black eyes, yet his skin was paler than the snow falling outside. His mouth showed sharp fangs, ready to eat any living creature.  He had a scar on his left brow.
“How dare you enter a private space without thinking about the master of this mansion!” the beast roared.
“Please...please, have mercy!  I was only looking for a gift! A gift for my daughter!!”
“Daughter...? Why would she want a simple flower?”
“My daughter loves flowers! I was only thinking about bringing her back one of the lilies that bloomed here! Please! I mean no harm or damage!”
Y/N’s father pleaded. The beast made a solemn expression for a moment.
“Very well. I will not kill you.” “Oh, thank you. Thank” “However.” the beast continued. “I will not allow this kind of disrespect in my mansion.” with a growl, the beast picked up y/n’s father with one hand easily, and in a quick move, he threw him in the basement dungeon.
“You should be very glad that I did not kill you. I have become tolerant due to the long years in this hideous form.” with that, the beast closed the door to leave y/n’s father inside the gloomy dungeon.

This was going to be easy. Simple, even. And incredibly romantic with no chance of failure—Thatch already knew!
This steadfast knowledge did little to prevent him from fretting over his personal kitchen area and the ingredients he had prepared. The chocolate chips for tempering were immaculate—no bloom to be found anywhere on any side of any chips or bars. The cocoa powder was as fresh as he could ask for without personally making them from cocoa beans. Milk far from expiration sat waiting in the fridge that he (almost in a crazed state) ensured was the perfect sitting temperature. The marshmallows that he actually did make were set to the side in bowls by size. Garnishes depending on their mood was also lavishly prepared. Everything from peppermint chips to sprinkles and powdered sugar. He even had piping materials set out if Izou wanted to decorate his hot cocoa bomb.
Most importantly, of course, was an engagement ring safely stowed in a box deep in his back pocket.
“I see you’ve already gotten everything ready.” Izou commented from the doorway with an airy, amused tone. Thatch, the handsome, grown man of Izou’s dreams didn’t yelp or otherwise jump at the surprise.
Thatch whirled around and beamed.
“Babe! You’re here!” Thatch stumbled, nearly saying ‘why are you here’ in his haste to act normal. Which wouldn’t have been very normal at all, so it’s a very good thing he didn’t. Izou chuckled, walking up to Thatch to press a soft kiss to his cheek.
“Of course I am. You asked me to come.” Izou reminded him. Thatch just knew by the mischievous look in his soft, brown eyes that there was a lipstick mark on his cheek, but it didn’t really bother him. That particular shade of red happened to be both of their color.
“Right! Well, I hope you came ready, babe. This is going to be the best cocoa you’ve ever had!” Thatch crowed, putting his hands around Izou’s waist to guide him to the counter where the materials were waiting. “First, we temper the chocolate! Don’t worry, I may not be a chocolatier but this is the easiest way to do this!” Thatch reassured him.
Izo chuckled, picking up a small bit of chocolate to taste.
“Mmm… I’m sure it is.” Izou laughed.
Sometimes, Thatch showed people how to cook in the kitchen. Sometimes it was members of his own division who hadn’t cooked in a particular way so they could expand their horizons and other times it was just for fun. Thatch enjoyed the task of showing people how to cook and making it fun—and naturally very tasty! But usually he kept his hands to himself more often.
Something he had a lot more trouble with when it was his handsome boyfriend.
Izou wasn’t even really dressed up. His special wintertime kimono (thick and blue with white waves and snowflakes along the bottom) secured with his favorite obi and his hair pinned back with a gift Thatch got him last year the only real concessions to the date. But Thatch still found himself taking every opportunity to personally guide Izou’s hands or gently nudge him this way and that as they worked. Izou bore this with his usual amusement, occasionally taking a moment to press a new lipstick smudge to his face or neck as a teasing gesture.
Pouring the chocolate into the molds, about the size of Thatch’s fist because he refused to skimp on hot cocoa, and waiting for them to set only provided him with time to think.
Not good when he was barely able to focus on not giving away his master plan as it was. Not helping in matters was Izou clearly aware Thatch was up to something.
Thankfully, the chocolate set quickly and they could begin adding ingredients inside the molds.
“What are you putting in yours, babe?” Thatch asked, adding spoonful’s of cocoa powder as a base. Izou hummed, gazing over the elaborate selection.
“Marshmallows, naturally.” Izou decided, plucking several large pieces before sprinkling in smaller ones. “And peppermint… I think I’ll add caramel too.” Thatch nodded along, quietly building his own as he inwardly panicked.
He forgot the most important step!
How the fuck was he going to add the ring to Izou’s bomb?!
Wait.
He got it.
“I think that’s all they can hold. Can you get the mugs and milk while I finish putting them together, babe?” Thatch asked. Izou laughed, brushing his hand over Thatch’s as he snagged a marshmallow to press it against his lips. Eagerly, almost forgetting his plan entirely, Thatch took the treat with a light nip to Izou’s fingertip and a wink.
“Alright. Milk is in the fridge, right?” Izou asked as Thatch applied a thin layer of chocolate to the rims of the shells, quickly dropping the ring into Izou’s before sealing it closed.
“Yep! We’ll let these set in the fridge while the milk heats up.” Thatch responded quickly. “Oh! Unless you want to decorate the outside?” Izou nodded.
“I think some stripes and powdered sugar would look nice.” Izou sighed. Keeping in mind which was Izou’s, Thatch set them in cupcake liners.
“Alright. This one is yours, go nuts.” Thatch laughed, allowing Izou to do as he wished. As expected, he added white stripes layered over strips of caramel. Thatch was a bit more simple, dripping chocolate with peppermint shavings over the top.
Once they were thoroughly finished being decorated, Thatch placed them on a plate and put them in the fridge to set all the way. And so he’d stop fretting and glancing at Izou’s like it was going to spontaneously combust.
Now, while it’s very delicate to heat milk, Thatch was an old hat at it by now. Enjoying hot cocoa made by hand every year as he does. But it was still just demanding enough that it kept his attention as he brought the milk slowly to a hot temperature. The last fucking thing he wanted was to scald it.
Filling the mugs with some room to spare, Thatch retrieved the hot cocoa bombs and allowed Izou to drop his into the milk. As he hoped, they melted quickly and rolled, dumping their contents into a thick mixture as they used spoons to quicken the process.
Thatch personally thought this might be the best hot cocoa he’d ever made before, and he was barely paying attention thanks to the wonderful distraction by his side.
Occasionally, as he took slow, satisfied sips from his mug, Thatch would glance at Izou.
But he never seemed to pause once while drinking. Steadily draining the contents as Thatch grew increasingly nervous.
He… he did put the ring in, right?
No. Of course he did! He remembers opening the box and everything!
… so where was the ring?
Thatch felt his stomach drop in horror, face going white as he nearly choked.
Did Izou swallow the ring?!
Thatch desperately glanced at Izou and found that he was being watched suspiciously.
“Are you alright? You look… pale? Something not sitting right?” Izou asked, thoughtfully concerned.
“U-Uh, y-yeah! Yeah! I’m fine! I-I’m fine! It’s just uhm…” Thatch took a hot sip to calm himself. “H-How’s the cocoa?!” Thatch frantically whispered.
Izou chuckled, downing the last of his drink in a single chug.
Then he sputtered, spitting something out.
“What the fuck?!” Izou hissed, something metallic pinging on the floor. Horrified, Thatch nearly threw his mug to the ground as he dove to pick up the ring.
The ring was undamaged. Gold band a little more thin than is traditional for a man, set with dravite and white diamonds. The dravite, of course, being almost the exact shade of Izou’s eyes. Not quite as lovely, or bright, but set in gold it was a close second. Thatch sighed in relief.
“Oh thank fuck.” Thatch nearly melted into the floor.
Maybe putting an engagement ring into food wasn’t the brightest idea he had…
“Thatch, darling… what are you doing?” Izou asked with only a little bit of irritation.
Understandable given that his attempt at romance nearly choked Izou.
Bracing himself on his knee, Thatch looked up, holding the ring with a sheepish grin.
“Trying to propose?” He said, helplessly.
Izou scowled.
“With a dirty ring?” He asked, reminding Thatch that the ring had just been in cocoa mix and spat onto the floor. Jolting, Thatch shot up and quickly dashed to the sink, face hot with embarrassment.
Izou chuckled, wrapping his arms around Thatch and gently pressing his fingers into Thatch’s wrists.
“I-I thought it would be romantic?” Thatch explained with a grimace, rubbing away the last flake of chocolate and caramel.
Izou slipped his hands up, between Thatch’s fingers. Presenting his left hand as he kissed Thatch’s neck softly.
“It was a sweet idea, Thatch… maybe next time put it in something that doesn’t sink?” Izou suggested.
Thatch paused, watching as Izou slowly slipped the ring onto his finger.
“…Is this a yes?” Thatch asked breathlessly, like he was the one being proposed to.
“Yes, you silly man.” Izou laughed, allowing the ring to rest above his knuckle as he pulled back his right hand. It came back into view with a small, velvet box.
Elegantly, Thatch’s hands still dripping with water, Izou flicked it open.
Thick and a dark honey gold color, the band was matte with no gems. Practical but luxurious, perfect for a chef… and notably a shade very close to his own eyes.
Laughter bubbled up in his chest as he allowed Izou to slip the band on his finger. Hand still wet, Thatch pulled up Izou’s knuckles for a soft kiss.
“Hey… you had the same idea.” Thatch murmured against Izou’s soft skin.
“No. I planned to propose after our drinks.” Izou denied with a warm chuckle.
“Close enough.” Thatch responded snottily. Izou’s lips pressed against the shell of his ear, warm breath curling against his skin as his fiancé laughed.
“Whatever helps you sleep at night.” Izou snorted.

Hi :D
I need to say that I love your writing very much. You're literally so amazing at describing characters and their emotions , their actions and the background as well!
Tho, If you feel comfortable enough - Can you make headcanon or drabble (choice is up to you) about Platonic!Roger Pirates and Whitebeard Pirates having a young crewmate that is very mature but is really self-sacrificial? By that I mean , they are not a fighter but don't want to be burden so they do anything they can to not be useless in their opinion?
So I did headcanons because I'm not good with drabbles. It's either 800-900 words minimum or nothing. I don't do drabbles. That being said, I hope you enjoy this, just remember this is just how I see them.
Word Count: 900
Roger Pirates
Roger totally pouts about you being very mature
You’re a kid, you should be enjoying life!
Orders the crew to give you as few chores as possible.
That’s not to say you don’t do plenty, just that Roger doesn’t assign it to you.
Constantly telling you to go have fun and enjoy the sunshine.
Part of you wants to, you want to make him happy, you kind of want to go have fun.
But what if you become a burden by doing so?
What if you cause trouble like Buggy and Shanks?
Nope! Not gonna happen!
And you go right back to helping out.
Rayleigh has had to forcibly stop you before.
Actually picked you up, set you in a chair, and ordered you to enjoy a small dessert.
In his defense, you’d been working yourself pretty hard at the time.
The entire crew knows not to wake you in the morning unless necessary.
It’s not that they don’t want your help, but they’re worried about you.
Rayleigh suggests a therapist.
You got so caught up in taking care of things that you missed the appointments.
The crew honestly tries their best to get you to stop and relax.
They’ve seen you overwork yourself, it wasn’t pretty and they all felt terrible for not stopping you sooner.
You still find plenty to do though.
Them not telling you to help actually makes you feel worse.
You’re being a burden by trying not to be a burden!
Rayleigh realizes this and you, Roger and Rayleigh reach an agreement.
You’re to do the chores you’re given and no more unless asked.
Buggy and Shanks aren’t allowed to ask you for help.
You’re allowed to get the usual early wake up call, but you have to spend a mandatory 2 hours being a kid and having fun.
Your fun usually involves helping Crocus organize the infirmary or just talking with Shanks (and keeping him out of trouble).
Neither Roger nor Rayleigh are happy about it, but they accept that it makes you happy so they don’t say anything.
You tell them that you just don’t want to be a burden… They laughed.
They told you that you were a kid, the only thing kids should worry about is being kids, not about being burdens.
Still, if doing a certain amount each day gets you to have fun later, they’ll take what they can get.
Whitebeard Pirates
Oh dear.
If you think Roger was bad, try dealing with his son.
Ace loves goofing off and causing trouble.
Haruta also likes causing trouble.
The two try to get you in on their trouble very, very often.
Not that they do, but they’re really trying to get you to enjoy life.
Unfortunately, watching them cause trouble and make messes only makes you want to do more.
Their jobs as commanders are important and they’re great fighters, but damn do they cause trouble for people.
Marco, Izou, and Thatch help though.
They keep you busy but also keep you from overworking yourself.
Thatch will give you easy tasks in the kitchen, Marco will give you simple tasks in the infirmary.
It’s always stuff that’s ‘important but I just don’t have the time’.
Izou helps in a rather odd way. He insists on spa days with you, says your company is relaxing, that he needs someone he can talk to but not like Ace or Thatch.
So you take spa days with him.
He actually really does like your company and it does help him relax, but it’s 90% for your sake.
Even Whitebeard has you help him.
He’s 20 ft tall, Luffy literally fits in his giant hand! He needs someone to help him with small things.
You’re young and small, so you do a lot of things he’s ‘too big’ for. Could he technically order things in his size? Yes, but that would be a lot of money when he has someone small who can do it for him.
At least, that’s what he tells people.
You’re often busy this way but actually do very little work.
Which was their intention.
You’re a kid, they don’t want you being too grown up but they know if they try and stop you, you’ll find other ways.
So they keep you busy while making things easy.
Organizing things, sorting produce, spa days, writing out various orders from the captain, reading off lists made by the commanders, all stuff that requires very little actual work but is still important to each of the commanders.
Ace and Haruta try to make their tasks fun as well.
Sometimes it works, sometimes it just annoys you.
Are they mocking you by doing this?
Whitebeard does have one very strict rule for you though.
No working after dinner, the time between dinner and bed is to be spent winding down and getting ready for bed.
Someone once caught you trying to clean the kitchen counters after dinner to make life easier for Thatch.
Whitebeard ‘grounded’ you for a week. You weren’t allowed to help anyone with anything, you felt awful.
Ace and Haruta were assigned to you to make sure of that.
You never disobeyed the rule again.
It’s not that you don’t want to have fun, but you just really don’t want to be a burden to anyone.
You spend some of the time after dinner just doing what you want to do.

This drabble is part of my summer celebration collection! Prompt: Sun Characters featured: Izo (One Piece), 2nd person GN Reader Requested by: anonymous (anon, please feel free to always slip into my inbox for Izo swooning lmao) [a/n]: more Izo content? More Izo content. This time actual drabble format. If this looks a little weird, it’s cause it was written, formatted and scheduled on my Ipad.
Tumblr media
Winter islands are great, because they allow you to cuddle up to Izo at night. Legs entangled, getting as close as humanly possible, and just soaking up his warmth (and sometimes making him nearly push you off of the bed for placing an icey foot on his back). Fall and spring islands make the best island for dates. Cause it’s usually not too warm and not too cold, you can do activities without much worries. Fall feels cosy, like the land is preparing for a nap, and spring is like waking up again.
But summers with Izo, those are your favorite. There is something about the sun hitting his face, making him look almost ethereal to you. His raven hair looking even shinier and healthier than it usually does. Summer is reading together on deck and target practice for training. It’s soaking up the sun, and endless backrubs with sunscreen to make sure you’re properly protected from the sometimes burning rays.
Summer with Izo is quiet, calm, it’s like being home. Nothing can compare to that feeling of intense love. And to be fair, the warmth you felt for him rivalled the sun. So as long as you are together, that summer feeling doesn’t truly end.
