While this can be true, I think it's important to realize that sometimes people are also just busy or forgetful, or even anxious about reaching out first. If you find that you are always the first one to reach out and that bothers you, and you hold onto resentment due to it, of course do what's best for you and move on.. I will say that as someone who struggles with amnesia and sometimes gets socially ancious over reaching out first, I really am grateful for those who keep in contact with me. It's all about adapting and finding balance. Some people are bad at being friends, others are just bad at functioning. There is a difference. Only you will really know.
Stop chasing people and forcing connections. No one is too busy for the person they love. No message is a message, no response is a response. Their lack of effort is their lack of interest in you. Their lack of response is your lack of importance to them. Let them go and move on.

Hello, I hope you're doing well. Could you create a headcanon about how Vash would be with a reader girlfriend who is a Tsundere?
Explanation of Tsundere: A "Tsundere" is a character archetype often found in anime and manga. It describes someone who is initially cold, hostile, or indifferent towards someone they care about, but gradually shows a warmer, friendlier side over time.
Hi! I'm doing well, thanks! Still kinda recovering from a cold but I Got This. I hope you're doing well, too!
And you got it, estrela! (I hope I got that word right, I saw on your blog that you're Brazilian!) What a cute request!
Vash the Stampede x Tsundere Girlfriend Reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media
TW/CWs: Vash and reader are in a romantic relationship, the reader is referred to as a girl/girlfriend and uses she/her pronouns, reader is described as being a bit mean at first but the dynamic gets worked out over time, Vash is a bit of a kicked puppy as always (/affectionate), written with TriStamp Vash in mind but feel free to slot any version you would prefer, barely proofread but I appreciate spellchecks.
A/N: So I've never actually gone out of my way to write tsunderes before! Usually it just kinda happens by accident lol. I hope this is what you were after!
Likes and Reblogs appreciated, Requests are Open, and it's all under the cut!

So to be totally real, I don't think Vash would be phased all that much by a tsundere, considering his outlook. Like it might get a bit tiring on his mind if you're being especially prickly, but it's nothing he hasn't either seen before. Hell, it's milder than most cases!
All that to say, the Big Hurdle that comes from being interested in a lovely tsundere such as yourself is that he is. Deathly afraid of accidentally coming on too strong and making you uncomfortable. Like it's hard for him to tell where exactly your abrasiveness is coming from. Is it a coping mechanism? Is it something he did? Is this just how you are? If it's something he did, he wishes you would just tell him so he could apologize and make it up to you, but unless your behavior really wears down to a sore spot, he doesn't push you to talk about it.
Little does he know that all the times you call him a dumbass or get on his case for something or other, it's just your way of saying and showing you care without tipping anyone off (although if we're being real, I think Meryl would clock it pretty fast if she's around--) And it's hard sometimes because he has such a sweet face! And you kinda feel bad whenever his smile stops reaching his eyes as much and he excuses himself all quiet and shy. But also his pacifist attitude puts him in danger a lot of the time, and he seems to take undeserved punishment so easily, as if he really thinks he had it coming, and you want him to stand up for himself more!
I'm imagining that the relationship starts like. Right after one of those moments that sends him a few feet away from you out of respect. Like he starts to shift away in the sand, murmuring an apology and a "I'll get out of your hair" only for your feelings to just flow over until you're hauling him into a kiss and while he does kiss you back, when you both pull away he is. so confused. ("I thought you hated me!" "What?" "You called me all these names until now! I thought I did something wrong." "You didn't do anything wrong???" "Then why were you all mean to me?" "Well-- I mean-- Don't worry about that! I'm sorry!")
Once the relationship gets started though, Vash is super relieved and also pumped. He's got a girlfriend!! Yay!! And she's really cool and now he knows that the banter is a love language!! He gets a bit better at banter now that he knows that, leading to some really silly conversations and interactions over the coming relationship.
He also knows now that your attitude isn't meant to keep him away but is more part of a chase, kinda like how dogs will swat at each other or nip and then run off, hoping their target comes after them for some light-hearted wrastlin'. Thing is though, I don't think that's always how he rolls, so sometimes he'll just throw that out the window and go right for the throat (metaphorically) by being nice. Like he'll talk about how pretty you are and calls you things like "sweet girl," "angel," and the ever-beloved "mayfly," just to feel your face get all warm and hear your tongue get tied up. It's one of the cutest things in the world to him, and it usually ends with him pulling you into a hug and laughing an apology into your neck, which he knows only makes it worse.
This man loves you SO MUCH! Even if your way of showing it is different from how he does it. That's one of the things that makes you special, and he adores you for it.

Modern Hearts Chapter 10
Chapter 9 here
******
You and Mic hailed a car, and began your descent downtown to the bar.  During the ride, you learned that he has a radio show called "Put Your Hands Up Radio" where he played nonstop music on Friday nights.  Tonight, obviously, he pre recorded his show so he could attend tonight's outing.  Mic had a fascinating persona, and you couldn't help but feel comfortable when you were around him.  He continued to talk more about his radio show, when the car pulled up in front of the bar.  You both paid the driver, got out of the car, and made your way inside.
The atmosphere inside of the bar was very dark and mysterious; you liked it.  It was absolutely packed in there, too, so you and Mic began walking around to see if anyone from your group was there yet.  You both walked around for several minutes until you found Nemuri sitting in a booth by herself; she waved over to the both of you to get your attention.  You slid into the booth, one of you on either side of Nemuri.  "Toshinori and Shouta running late?" you asked. "Ah, as it turns out, Toshinori isn't coming.  Which is fine, he can't drink anyway. I don't know where Shouta's at, hopefully he's on his way" she responded.
Mic stood up and said the first round was on him; he grabbed your orders and went over to the bar to grab the bartender's attention.  Before Mic came back, Shouta made his way to your booth, mumbling something about having to break up a fight between two students, which is why he was late.  "No worries, Eraser!" said Nemuri.  You smiled up at him, "hello, Shouta. I'm just happy you made it.  Mic is up the bar ordering our drinks if you want to grab a drink while he's up there."  Shouta took your advice and went up to the bar and stood next to Mic, who was still waiting for the bartender.
You took this opportunity to get a good look at Shouta; he was in all black, naturally.  He wasn't in his pro-hero gear tonight, though.  He had his ebony hair pulled back into a low ponytail, he was wearing a fitting v-neck long sleeve shirt, black jeans, and black boots.  He looked good.  Nemuri noticed you staring, and nudged you on the arm.  "Ohhh, someone has a crush!" she exclaimed.  You were glad it was dark in the bar because she couldn't see the blush creeping up on your face.  "No no, it's nothing like that," you responded, "it's just strange to see him as an adult now after knowing him as a child."  Nemuri just looked at you knowingly, saying, "okay, whatever you say, Y/N."
The conversation between you and Nemuri ended as quickly as it started as Mic and Shouta came back to the booth at that time.  Mic ordered some sort of girly-looking drink for himself. "What! It tastes good! Who cares how it looks?"  Shouta ordered himself a glass of whiskey on the rocks, and you and Nemuri both ordered glasses of white wine. Shouta sat down on the other side of Mic, so the order was Shouta, Mic, Nemuri and you.  Mic raised up his drink first and toasted, "to Y/N!  We're so happy to have you on our team!"  You all raised your glasses in return and cheered.  You couldn't help but smile; you felt like you were where you belonged.
The conversation and drinks flowed easily that night.  You were all progressively getting drunker as the night went on, and at that point, even Shouta seemed to be having a good time, grinning once in a while at something you said, or rolling his eyes at Mic for a silly joke he said.  You talked to them about life in America, and how their culture was so different than here in Japan.  Nemuri asked if you regret your decision at all, moving back to Japan.  You looked at her thoughtfully for a moment, "I don't.  America was great and all, and I made some good friends while I was there, but Japan is home to me."  Nemuri just smiled at you in response, "well, I think I speak for all of us when I say that we're happy you came here."
You were telling them more about America when suddenly, two men approached your table.  One of the men was very tall and muscular, had crimson colored hair, and a scar going down the left side of his face.  The other man was shorter, looked younger, had golden-brown hair, but perhaps his most noticeable feature were his stunning red wings. The taller man said, "well, if it isn't Eraserhead, Present Mic, and Midnight. Getting a little drunk tonight, are we?"  Mic was the first to speak up, "what's up, Endeavor, Hawks? What are you guys doing here?"  "Nevermind that," said who you assumed was 'Hawks', "who is this lovely lady you have with you tonight?" he asked as he sat down next to you.  He was close, and you could see his beautiful golden brown eyes.
Nemuri spoke up this time, saying "Endeavor, Hawks, this is Y/N, she is the new librarian at the high school.  Y/N, this is Endeavor, or Enji Todoroki.  And the man sitting next to you is Hawks, or Keigo Takami."  Keigo took your hand in his, and placed a gentle kiss on the top of your hand.  Wow, this guy was smooth, and he knew it.  "It's a pleasure to meet you, Enji and Keigo," you finally said.  Keigo immediately spoke up, saying, "trust me, the pleasure is all mine."  You felt your cheeks getting hot, this guy really was smooth.  You don't know why you did it, but you quickly glanced over at Shouta, who was frowning down at his empty drink.  "I think I need another drink," he said grumpily before getting up and leaving the booth.

To be continued...

"We're safe, see?"
I'm writing this both to cope with reading the Megumi vessel arc and some personal loss going on in my real life right now. It's purely self indulgent and my target audience is me alone so please don't come at me for any of the characters being OOC lol. Also it's a self insert because I'm long past caring about it being cringe or whatever. This idea has been rotating in my mind like a gas station hot dog, I just have to get it out by posting it. Note: Satoru and Megumi call me by my first name, Nobara calls me by my self insert's last name+the honorific 'chan', and Yuji calls me my self insert's last name+sensei. I made sure to do proper research on this so that I'm not doing weeb shit and screwing up the language.
Word Count: ~ 3.2k
Summary: I have a nightmare about the first-years dying, so Gojo brings them over to our house to reassure me they're safe. After Itadori and Kugisaki leave, Megumi stays behind to tell Gojo and I that he appreciates us raising him after his dad 'disappears'.
Every history book on the Heian era I'd ever read failed to convey how terrifying Sukuna's true form was. No words could describe the overwhelming power radiating off him, the helplessness that froze my limbs and dammed the flow of my cursed energy. My feet dangled in the air as I tried to wriggle out of his grasp. Sukuna's bottom pair of arms held me captive against his chest, but what distressed me most was his free hands and what they were pointing at.
Megumi. Yuji. Nobara. My beloved first year students stood before us in fighting stances. I didn't understand how Yuji could be here with Sukuna physically manifested; figuring that out was the least of my worries right now. My voice tremored as I ordered, "Run, you three! I'll do my best to stay alive until you bring Gojo-sensei back to help me!"
"Like hell we'd leave you!" Yuji yelled. I could tell he was forcing a brave act— the usual courageous gleam in his eyes was gone.
"Even Sukuna would have to let you go with three sorcerers going at him at once," Nobara declared.
Only Megumi remained silent. Having known me the longest, he knew I would rather die than have them get hurt for my sake. And yet his hands were set to summon his Divine Dog. I decided to use a soft tone instead of my teacher voice in hopes of getting through their thick skulls. "Please, kids, you'll get slaughtered." Although it wasn't the first time I'd told them they'd lose a fight, I'd never said it so harshly before.
Sukuna found my begging entertaining. "You really love them, don't you? Do you tell them that to their faces?"
Something was off about the way he phrased that. He talked as if they weren't actually there; it made me question the situation. Is he messing with my senses? Does he have the ability to make me hallucinate? I wondered. Even if it was just a figment of my imagination, I had to treat it like they really were here so that they wouldn't get hurt.
"I do love them. That's why I want them to get far away from you."
Yuji, ever the impatient one, charged first. He only took two steps before Sukuna flicked one of his hands, saying, "Cleave."
I screamed as the boy's uniform bloomed red with blood. Megumi and Nobara didn't even have time to call out his name; jagged cuts slashed their stomachs wide open. My wails of agony were cut off by a spew of stomach acid erupting from my mouth. It's been years since the last time gore made me throw up! What is wrong with me? Get a hold of yourself! I turned away from the horrible sight with my hands poised, aiming to claw out Sukuna's eyes.
He caught my hands easily. No matter how hard I tried to break free, his black nails stayed buried in my wrists. Writhing in his hold only served to wear me out. My vision was starting to blur; I couldn't stop screaming no matter how much my vocal cords begged me to.
Sukuna opened his mouth, probably to mock me for being weak, but the voice that came out perplexed me enough to shut up. Satoru's voice came from his lips, saying, "Lauren. Lauren! Wake up!"
Suddenly I was no longer standing in the ruins of a temple, watching my students' blood seeping into the wooden floorboards. I was in my bed, and the arms enclosing me didn't belong to the King of Curses— it was Satoru holding me.
"Thank God you're awake! You were screaming bloody murder and scratching at my Infinity," Satoru whispered. He started pushing my sweaty hair out of my face, touching me delicately like he was afraid I'd start freaking out again. "What were you dreaming?"
Guilt formed a lump in my throat; I would've hurt him if it wasn't for his cursed technique. Logically I knew he kept his Limitless going automatically — and that it was capable of letting him touch me without me touching him — but my brain was too frazzled for rational thoughts right now. I bowed my head and said, "I'm so sorry, Toru! If your defense hadn't stopped me, I would've hurt you!"
"But it did hold up, so don't feel bad. Please tell me what happened, sweetheart."
I heaved a sigh. Satoru never let things go, so I relented. "I had a nightmare that Sukuna got to our kids. Like, Heian form Sukuna with the four arms and double face." The sight of their massacered bodies flashed through my mind, sending a shudder through my exhaused body.
His face scrunched up in a mix of concern and anger. He cursed Sukuna under his breath, just loud enough for me to hear. Then, with the softness he reserved just for me, he responded, "As long as I'm around, nothing will harm our students. I swear on my life to keep them safe."
"I wish we lived in a world where you don't have to say stuff like that..."
"Hopefully someday we'll make that wish-"
"Sorry to interrupt, but I'm really hot. Can we sit up?" Part of me wanted to lay in his protection forever, but the bigger part of me was unbearably clammy.
He reluctantly let me go so we could sit up and get out of the covers. He laced our fingers together, ignoring how gross my skin probably felt. He continued, "Hopefully our efforts to make a new world will bear fruit soon. We'll eradicate all curses, end global warming, and retire at fifty."
"That last goal makes you sound like Nanamin." His optimistic declaration brought a small smile to my face.
"He's a good man to sound like. Big world-changing plans aside, what can I do to help you in this moment?"
Satoru's consideration made my heart swell. When we first started dating, he was emotionally immature. As our relationship progressed, he learned how to handle both his and others' feelings — Megumi's presence in his life also contributed to his growth. Moments like this, when I needed comforting, proved just how far he's come. "I want to shower and put on clean PJs. Can you change the sheets while I do that?"
"Yes ma'am," he said with a salute.
We both got moving to start our respective tasks. I picked a pair of striped PJ pants and one of Satoru's old shirts to change into. Clothes in hand, I entered the master bathroom. I stripped quickly, already feeling relieved by the air hitting my bare skin. The sound of running water eased the anxiety pounding against my skull; the cold temperature cooled down my overheated frame.
I listened to the sound of Satoru rustling about in the background while I washed my hair. He must've finished making the bed pretty fast, because the room was quiet again by the time I was finished scrubbing my body. Eager to go back to sleep, I finished the rest of my shower process quickly.
I expected Satoru to be sitting on the bed waiting for me, but the bedroom was empty. I said, "Satoru?" But I received no answer, which meant he wasn't in the closet. Assuming he must've gone to the kitchen or something, I repeated myself a little louder. Still no answer.
The light in the hallway connecting our bedroom to the livingroom was on, telling me he'd definitely come this way. I expected him to be sitting on the livingroom couch or rummaging through the pantry for a snack.
Instead I was met with a Post-It note stuck to the front door that read: Don't panic, I just went to the dorms to get the kids. We'll be over in a jiffy. Love you, -xoxo, Toru.
I'm going to smack him when he gets back. I fussed at him constantly for not letting the first years get enough rest, and there he went waking them up in the middle of the night just because my defective brain convinced me they'd been attacked. Since our house was on campus, just a few yards from the student dorms, I figured they'd be here any minute.
I was right. Megumi was first to stumble in through the front door. His disheveled bedhead made his hair wilder than usual, and he was wearing mismatched slippers. Nobara came in next; it was incredibly obvious she was pissed to be dragged out of bed. Her expression got mildly less sour when she made eye contact with me, but she still looked like she was about to fall asleep on her feet. Last but not least, Yuji filed in with Satoru on his heels.
My motherly side (a part of me that I tried to ignore, because that's unprofessional) was relieved they were here. I reminded myself that it was selfish to disrupt their sleep for my personal need to see them. I said, "Satoru, what were you thinking? I get onto you all the time for not letting them get enough rest! They may be powerful sorcerers, but they're still growing children! Growing children need eight hours of sleep."
I could tell my nagging went in one ear and out the other, because he just grinned at me and replied, "I believe what you're supposed to say is, 'Oh Toru, thank you so much! You're the best boyfriend ever, Toru!'"
"Well, as much as I hate to be selfish, I am glad to see you guys. Did he tell you about the dream?" I addressed the kids, ignoring Satoru's dramatics.
"Nah, he just yoinked me from my bed and told me you needed all of us," Yuji answered, sitting down in his favorite chair.
"He made it sound like you were dying," Nobara grumbled. She too got comfortable, sinking down into her preferred spot on the couch.
Megumi sat to the left of me, leaving Satoru to take the spot at my right. The former was staring at me with an intensely worried expression.
"Whatever you're thinking, Gumi Bear, out with it." I returned his gaze with equal intensity.
"Did you have a nightmare...about us dying?"
Such a perceptive boy. "Yeah. It sucked."
Nobara perked up a little, curiosity giving her a slight energy boost. Leaning towards you, she asked, "What killed us?"
I tried my hardest not to look at Yuji. I couldn't answer that question in front of him; it would make him feel guilty. "Does it matter? It didn't happen. You're sitting here in one piece, that's the important thing."
"Come on, Prior-sensei, we want to know!" Yuji chimed in.
Him and Nobara were looking at me with puppy-dog eyes. Damn them for being so hard to deny. Through gritted teeth, I confessed, "Heian form Sukuna.
Yuji's face immediately fell; he looked like I just punched him in the gut. To make matters worse, Sukuna's mouth appeared on his cheek. The smug bastard that I hated so much said, "How flattering that you dream about me! Wouldn't it be wonderful if I took control of this brat's body and had some fun with you?"
Bile rose in my throat at the mere thought of it. Satoru's hand landed on my thigh, squeezing it possessively. Just when I thought the tense silence would suffocate us all, Sukuna laughed. "Your emotions are so easy to play with. Both you and this loser I'm forced to share a body with."
Yuji slapped his cheek. "Piss off, parasite."
The mouth faded away, returning his skin to normal, although he was blushing fiercely. Seeing him so uncomfortable tugged at my heartstrings, so I got up to pat his back. "Don't be embarrassed, Yuji. It's not your fault he says stuff like that."
"But it is though! I should be able to stifle him by now."
"Has he fully switched with you since he fixed your heart? Has he killed anyone since then?"
"Well, no, but-"
"I'm not finished yet. Don't interrupt me when I'm lecturing you. You have control over him in the ways that it truly matters, so don't beat yourself up for not preventing him yapping. Do you understand me?"
His expression lost its harshness, so I think my assurance helped him calm down. He was able to look at me properly when he replied, "Crystal clear, Sensei."
"Good. Thank you." I ruffled his hair. Then I turned to Nobara, seeking her consent to give her a hug. "Since you got dragged here to comfort me, can I hug you? I understand if that's a boundary you don't want me to cross. Please don't feel pressured to say yes."
"Of course you can hug me, Prior-chan."
I leaned down to meet her so that she didn't have to get up from her comfy position. Holding onto her helped ground me in reality, reassured me that she really was okay. Honestly, I was so relieved a few tears slipped out.
After a few minutes, I pulled away. I wanted to hold Megumi too, but I knew he preferred not to be touched. Which is why I was schocked when he said, "Lauren, I'd like one as well."
As happy as that made me to hear, I hesitated. "You don't like physical touch, Megumi. You don't have to make yourself uncomfortable for my sake."
"It's tolerable sometimes, especially from someone who raised me." He said that last part quietly, intending his friends not to hear it.
Fully crying now, I embraced him. I felt like I didn't have the right to say this to him, but after ten years of helping Satoru take care of him (and Tsumiki), I considered him my son. I was starting to feel maternal love for the other first-years as well. Although it was slightly strange to ask, I said, "Nobara, Yuji. Can we have a group huddle? I think I'd be more at ease to have all of my kids in my bubble."
They obliged without complaint. I managed to encircle all three of them, paying no mind to the strain it put on my joints. Satoru joined in; his arms were long enough to wrap around all of us once we squished together a little bit. My heart was so full of love, I wondered if it would burst. How could three baby sorcerers I shared no blood with come to mean so much to me so quickly?
His voice was a tad muffled since his face was smushed into Megumi's shoulder, but Yuji said, "We're safe, see?"
A scene from the dream flashed in my mind; I focused on the textures of their clothes and the sound of their breathing to dispel it. My ear was closest to Nobara's heart, its steady rhythm further anchoring me to reality. I murmured, "Yes, thank heavens you're all here with me. Thank you for caring enough about me to support me."
"It's nothing compared to all you do for us," Megumi said.
A comfortable silence settled on us after that. I could've spent eternity in the tranquility of that moment, but I knew we all needed to return to bed. I extracted myself with a sigh, "Okay, kids, back to your dorms you go. Training's gonna suck tomorrow if you don't get a few extra hours of snoozing."
"Aw come on, can't we take the day off tomorrow?" Nobara said.
"Don't look at me, I'm just an auxilary teacher. That decision is up to your main professor Gojo."
"You're a semi-grade two, not the auxilary staff," Megumi deadpanned. He didn't like it when I sold myself short.
"Tomato, tomato." I waved my hand dismissively. "I love you all, but shoo. Rest your sweet little heads so you can face whatever devious nonsense my crazy man has planned for you tomorrow."
"All the best sorcerers are crazy," Satoru quipped. He was reluctant to let them go, but the look in my eye told him there'd be no arguing. "She's right though, younglings. Off you go!"
Yuji and Nobara squeezed me one last time before they left, wishing us a goodnight. Megumi didn't follow after them, though. Once he was sure they were out of earshot, he said, "When I said 'all you do for us,' I left out the words I didn't want to say in front of Itadori and Kugisaki. 'Especially for me' is what I held back. You've taken care of me my whole life. I remember you as my mom more than my birth mother at this point, honestly."
He looked like saying it pained him, like being vulnerable was a huge struggle for him. All throughout his childhood, he'd been a boy of few words. Knowing he felt secure enough now to share those feelings with me was a huge affirmation that I'd at least had a little positive influence on his character. I ruffled his hair with a warm smile. "I'm glad you said that, 'cause I've thought about you as my son for a while now. I've never told you 'cause I didn't wanna overstep my bounds and say something presumptuous."
"You should start calling us Mom and Dad," Satoru suggested. His playful tone hid his sincere desire for Megumi to admit he also saw him as a parental figure.
"I think the world would stop spinning if I admitted my gratitude to you out loud," Megumi said, rolling his eyes. To avoid seeing his reaction, he stared at the wall and continued, "But I am thankful for your contribution to my upbringing as well. I guess you're kind of alright, Satoru."
To anyone else it wouldn't seem like much; it was a huge step in the right direction for Satoru. He pinched the boy's cheeks, squealing, "Megumiiiii! That's the sweetest thing you've ever said to me, even if it was emotionally constipated!"
"Don't let it go to your head!" Although he shook his face free of Satoru and shoved him away, Megumi wore a small grin. Despite how he acted, he really did appreciate everything the man had done for him.
I watched their interaction fondly. Satoru, imperfect though he may be, truly loved with his whole being. Seeing his sweet side made me want to marry him. I thought about his only half-joking remark: Megumi is too reserved for that, but I wouldn't mind having a little one of our own to call us 'Mom and Dad'. What is it about men with good paternal instincts that make them so attractive?! Evolutionary response, probably. As cute as their bickering was, I cut in: "It's past 1:30, my love. Stop teasing our boy and let him go back to bed."
"You heard your mom, back to bed you go!"
"You're the one blocking the door, idiot!"
"Oh, it seems I am!" Satoru fake gasped. He stepped aside with an exaggerated flair. "Goodnight, Megumi. And tell the others your generous sensei Gojo is giving you all the first half of tomorrow off."
"Okay. Goodnight to you both."
He slipped out into the dark, letting in the chilly night air. I watched him walk back toward the students' residence, noting with relief that his body language was more relaxed than when he'd first got here. I headed back to our room once he was out of sight. I snuggled contentedly into the fresh sheets.
Satoru was quick to join me, assuming the big spooniposition. The last thing my mind registered as I drifted into (a thankfully peaceful) sleep was him whispering "I love you" in my ear.

Ever since his fake death, Itadori has been training alone with the help of Gojo - and now, he works along a freshly new face, who belongs to a senior, founds out ex-salaryman named Nanami Kento. He's far a thousand times more strict than Gojo. Itadori doesn't really likes the change, because Nanami is a person he can't get along. This whole guy's appearance scream "work 4 life"; he has proved different, now he screams "work is shit - but I gotta do it because others won't".
They've just finished cleansing the outside of a movie theater off a few curses, when Itadori hears shouting from far behind them. Two figures approach, waving excessively. He quickly picks on Nanami's tired sigh beside him.
"Nanami! We figured out you'd be here! Our mission has been finished and we wanted to catch up to have lunch together!" A male clad in a full black outfit shouts, he has brown hair and a beanie on top of his head, looking quite content.
The other person simply trots next to him in silence, approaching with a friendly smile. They notice Itadori faster than the male, smile widening and quickly waving hello, suddenly eager to reach up to them. The gesture makes the pink haired boy perk up, curious to why the other person looked so joyful. His question is easily answered, when they tug on the man's sleeve and motion to him.
"Ino, we have a third buddy!" The dude looks at him with widened eyes. "So nice to meet you, I'm Y/N L/N! It's great to see new faces around!"
Itadori smiles at your energy, knowing already he would click with you very well.
"I'm Ino Takuma, sorry for not noticing you before! Your uniform looks cool." Itadori exchanges a few compliments with Ino, before the man turns to talk with Nanami, leaving him and you together.
"Yes! I'm Sukuna's vessel, Itadori Yuuji-desu! My type of woman is Jenn-"
You turn to him. "So, are you a first year?"
"Geh? Weren't you dead though?!"
"I was!- I am!- Please keep secret."
"Okay!"
"Ahem." Nanami coughs, drawing attention. "I requested you two to not come after me today. Itadori here is the reason why."
"That's no problem, we're very capable of keeping secrets." You threw your arm over Itadori's shoulder, him nodding along with you.
"Oh really, then remember to keep quiet about it. I'll let this slide." The group of students nervously at Nanami's intimidating tone. "But, I'll get to have my break alone."
"Gah!" Ino exclaimed, watching Nanami walk away; he also left the responsability of taking care of Itadori for you two, leaving without a word. "It really had to be today, when Nanami would take us to his favorite bakery..."
"Crybaby." You teased. "Itadori here can't go outside where anyone can see him, he's dead. So, we were to order food either way because he shouldn't be left out."
"Augh okay, it would be unfair."
"So, where are you staying Itadori?"
"At Gojo's state!"
"Whoa, I've never been there before." Ino commented, waiting as you sent a message to Ijichi to pick them up.
"He's my teacher, a very cool one!"
"I imagine! Ooookay, once we get there I'll get the food."
Itadori felt as his chest would burst of excitement, finally there was people around him again, he couldn't be less happy about it.
"Sharing is caring!"
Itadori laughed as you wrestled with Takuma for some fries, netflix long forgotten in the background, as watching the banter was way more entertaining. Most of the time, Ino rambled a lot about Nanami, while he rambled a lot about Gojo. The guy even showed him the cool scar under his beanie. He felt kinda upset after explaining the exchange was just temporary, his stay under Nanami's wing wasn't decisive, and therefore, he was more like a classmate than a partner.
Itadori also learned a lot about you. He was surprised to find out that you, although energetic, was the one to speak the lesser in conversations. His surprisement grew even bigger when you told him you're a exchange student from Kyoto, arriving Tokyo about the same month as him - thankfully, you were to say for good.
Conversations flowed easily in the air, until a voice from the doorway barged in.
"Yuuji-kun! Don't forget about your lessons! Hi kids! Bye kids!" Gojo said playfully, throwing the familiar punching bear to Itadori before leaving.
"What's this thing?" Ino asked.
"It's to help me control my cursed energy. So while I watch the movies, if I don't charge it with cursed energy it punches me square in the face. I thought I had mastered this thing already, but he insist I keep training with it." Itadori grumbles.
"At least it's cute." You commented, taking a sip of your drink.
"Until it punches you in your face without warning!" The pink haired boy barks.
The talks died down, the three of you eating quietly when another movie is played on the screen. Itadori didn't bother reading the title, it was a plain one about a zombie apocalypse that got him extremely bored, yet he kept watching still so the plushie didn't punch him in the face again; he's been keeping a record since all his last cursed energy training lessons were a sucess to this day. When his head started nodding and eyelids dropping Itadori can't remember well, about fourty five minutes of movie perhaps? Make it fifty, the second slumber took over his body completely.
When he awoke once again, it was near midnight, the clock on the wall told him so. He also noticed a soft and warm surface supporting his head, figures, it's your shoulder he's resting into, he feels an arm around his own shoulders and your cheek placed upon his hair.
"Hey, it's late." You immediately notices he's awake, calling out softly. "You should sleep on your room, or something, better to your spine."
He chuckles when you poke his side. "But I'm comfortable here."
"I'm surprised, you just met me today, and now is sleeping on my shoulder."
"I'm not, that happens often to me."
"Sleeping on people's shoulders?"
"No! Making friends quickly." Itadori likes your gentle warmth, your hug, everything makes him feel at home. "I met two more people before you for two weeks, but they can't see me, because I'm dead."
"So I'll keep you company, that's my new mission."
His eyes widen at that, a oh so little blush covering the tip of his ears.
"For how many time I slept anyway?" He asks.
"About two- no, three hours. You missed two movies, and this one is about to end."
"And you stayed here the whole time?" He motions to your shoulder.
"Yep. That reminds me I gotta pee."
Itadori grumbles, but quickly lifts himself off you, respecting your needs. That gives him some time to look around, he notices Ino is gone, and the plushie sits quietly at the other side of the couch, unmoving.
"Y/N! How did you manage to make it quiet down?" He's beyond bafflet.
"...que."
"What!"
"I said!" You arrive quickly at the doorframe, hands still wet from when you washed them. "I used my innate technique."
"Oh! How is it like?"
"It's kinda funny, gimme a moment." You left to wipe off your hands, coming back in a second. "So, just like Shoko, I produce reverse curse energy, but it's quite different than hers, I can't heal people. That's why we often call it positive energy instead. I can use it to soothe off negative energy, so the bear has no cursed energy right now."
"How does it works on people?" He felt very curious about everything, asking away like a kid.
"Since everyone has negative energy, it just makes you sleepy really. But when it comes to curses it's really practical, I can either weaken it or, if the curse is like grade three or four, I can slap them off existence completely by wiping all their energy." You were naturally proud of having a such versatile power, your own energy swirling with pride around you.
"That sounds amazing! Is it why I fell asleep though?"
"Nah, only if I did it on purpose. I guess you were just tired, hope you don't mind I decided to let you rest today."
"No way, it was a good nap."
You nodded. "By the way, Ino left to attend to a drinking party, he paid for our food."
"Drinking? Is he old?"
"Yeah, he's twenty." You chuckled, already expecting that kind of reaction.
"No way! He looks young just like us!"
"That's totally my reaction after I learned he's twenty!"
After that day, you started visiting Itadori weekly to daily, after exchanging numbers he made a little group with you and Ino, naming it the "Nanami trio". But really, he exchanges more texts with you in private, be them memes, cool images he wish to share, etcetera. Although, Ino wasn't left excluded, he ofter brough his xbox to connect to Itadori's tv room and you all would spend hours playing together; he just didn't spend much time with both of you as much. And that was okay.
For a few days, your connection with Itadori died down when he didn't reply to your texts. They would remain unread for some time, the longest being half a day, until he would spam apologies then move on with the topic. That became a routine until one day when you came over to check on Itadori unnanounced, needin to ease off your worries about the boy, only to find him sobbing in the middle of a hallway, staring ahead and beyond, his back to you.
"Ita-?"
"Egh!" Startled, he scrambled to wipe his eyes, turning to you. "H-hey, um, hi."
"What happened?"
"I- he-" His eyes didn't met yours, knuckles white in a death grip. You notice he has a few bandages thrown over his face and arms. The way his shoulders are drawn, as if he wants to shrink into himself is something you've experienced before.
"Something hard to talk about?"
He nods almost immediately, head still facing down.
"It's alright, come with me." You reach for his hands, grimacing slightly when his forceful grip is now on your hand, yet you don't comment on it. He follows you through the state wordlessly.
You two stop on the same tv room, sitting down on the couch. You then guide his head to your shoulder, gently massaging his scalp with the free hand.
"It's alright."
Those two words are chanted like a prayer for the next half hour, at some point, Itadori twisted his body towards yours and unknowingly caged you between him and the sofa arm. He embraced you with a force you didn't have in you, like he didn't want to lose one another. Painful or not, not a muscle moved on your body. He needed a shoulder to cry on.
Thirty minutes passed like seconds, you peered down only to find the boy confortably napping against your bosom; at some point you just became the cold side of the pillow to him. That's alright. It brings you joy to be the mom friend anyways. So you decided to join the sleepland aswell, arms still secured around his shoulders and the back of his head.
It feels like the nap hasn't been long, though, because you can feel Itadori's grip loosening and therefore, you're awake.
"Sorry if I broke any bones, in advance."
"Wow, and you only warn me now."
He laughs at your comeback, hands still secured around your waist.
"I'm surprised you let me uh, cuddle you for comfort - and sleep. I don't understand it? You just make me sleepy." He rambled, keeping eye contact with you while his head still rests on your chest.
"That's a piece of cake when you have younger siblings who seek for you every night they get a nightmare."
"Does that mean I can come to you again if I have a nightmare?" There it is, his togepi-kirby cutesy face.
"Are you four?"
"That's mean!" Itadori blushed, squeezing you on his arms. "I like the contact. It puts me at ease."
"Mm, do you want to talk about it?"
He gulped. "No, not really."
Your peach haired friend remained silent, and so did you. It seems he doesn't intend in letting you go soon, or he just really forgot to mention it. It gives them time to think, your younger sisted used to do that sometimes, back in Kyoto.
"Y/N, wanna watch anything?"
"Sure, have you watched Parasyte before?"
"No, let's give it a try then!" Itadori glances at the remote, then back at you - making you confused over his hesitation to move. He notices you noticed it, chuckling nervously. "To be honest, I don't wanna let go."
"It's hurting my back."
"SORRY I'M SORRY!" He jumped away from you like a cat would jolt away from a cucumber, making you snicker.
"It's okay, I just wanted to change positions."
And to tease you, but he didn't need to know that part.
He glared at you with a small pout, typing the initials of Parasyte on the search bar. Outside his line of vision, you were grinning like a idiot, his sweeteness took a tow on you. All the people of Tokyo you met really held a way different spirit from your classmates in Kyoto, Itadori being the nicest of all. It's surprising him being Sukuna's vessel to begin with; being honest, you felt drawn by it.
"Y/N, it's startiiiiing." He cut your daydreaming short, slumping on your side and propping his head on your shoulder.
"This again?" You throw an arm around his shoulders, very much like the first time he cuddled himself on you.
"Don't blame me, you're the one who wanted to change positions. Guess I'll just make some alterations since I'm awake this time!" One of his arms went behind your back and circled your waist, hand resting at your hip.
"It's definely different, since the other time you drooled on me."
"Hhgh, okay okay! Let me enjoy this." For perhaps the actual first time, you're able to watch without exchanging words with one another.
And this time, it's you who's head loll to the side, nose buried on his soft rose perfumed hair. Itadori doesn't comment on it yet, his free hand moves under your legs to lift your whole body up efortlessly when he senses you have fallen asleep.
"I remember you said it's bad for my spine, I wouldn't mind it... yours however."
The boy makes a beeline to the guest room, he sighs when there is no choice but open the door with his foot. Inside, he places you carefully in the soft bed.
Before he could leave, a hand reaches up for his sleeve.
"Itadori," He turned, looking at you. "Make me company?"
He giggles softly - you think it sounds like a highschool girl. "You should start calling me by my first name!" Itadori rambles as he climbs on the bed, arms wrapping around your waist in a motion you're familiar with.
"Yuuji, I'm tired, let me sleep."
"But I wanna talk more..." He pouts. "Also, are we, um, dating?"
You wriggle around, bringing his head down to peck on his forehead, teasing. "Correction, I want to date you."
"Uh, oh." A blush coats his face so quickly, you'd say someone dumped a bucket of red paint on his face.
"Is that a no?"
"No!"
"So it is a no."
"Christ, will you stop teasing for a second, I'm trying to talk here." He makes an angry version of his togepi-kirby face, you can't help but grin.
"You amuse me, but okay. I'll do it for you."
"Thanks." He blinks, the blush slowly fading away. "You know, I lied, not about the contact, I like the contact nonetheless-"
His hand moves to play with yours, such as tapping his tips against yours, or meassuring the palms.
"-it's you who brings me comfort."
It's also your turn to blush, that line was seriously charming.
"Yeah."
"Yeah?"
"Yes, we're dating now." You respond, a little eagerly. "Can I kiss you?"
"Please."
This is the best person I could ask for, Itadori thinks, keeping his eyes open as yours shut during the kiss, whom I won't change for anything else in this world.
When you both separate, Itadori feels drowsy and sleepy. His face fits perfectly on your shoulder as always.
"Goodnight, my favorite person."

Naruto Uzumaki | Safe
Pairing: Naruto Uzumaki x Reader Request:
Tumblr media
Warnings: mild language, mentions of blood Word Count: 1.3k
Tumblr media
It wasn't an occurring thing that you got to go on missions with Naruto. Usually it be if they needed more than three people, but on this occasion you were filling in for Sai while he recovered from a previous mission.
You would be joining them for a B-rank mission, escorting someone visiting from a close by village, gathering intel on a growing land. Naruto passed the time by telling stories, telling you how this reminded him of one of his first missions and how they met and defeated Zabuza and Haku.
You could see a hint of sadness on his face when he told you how the situation ended, but decided not to bring it up.
-
The mission was practically over, the person you were escorting back safe and sound. Still, you weren't ninja of the village you were in and needed to be careful.
The four you stayed an inn that night, wanting to rest up before the long journey home. Naruto walked with you to your room you'd be sharing with Sakura. He glanced at you as the two of you walked, enjoying your company even if it was for a short walk.
"I should ask if we can replace Sai with you, you're more enjoyable to be around."
You couldn't help but laugh, "Oh, Naruto, that's so mean! Sai isn't that bad."
"You're not on a team with him, [Y/N]."
You shook your head, smiling since you knew those two didn't always get along. You stopped at your room, standing in front of the door as you turned to Naruto.
"Well, this is it. Thanks for walking me, Naruto, you didn't have to."
He smiled, "I know, I wanted too. Gotta make sure you're safe, you know? I'll see you in the morning."
You couldn't help but watch him as he walked away; he was definitely a different person after leaving to train with Jiraiya.
-
You were more then ready to head home the next morning, an uneasy feeling settling in your stomach. You grabbed the few belongs you needed, meeting up with the others outside the inn.
Naruto noticed you were quieter, more alert as you kept looking around. He placed a hand on your arm, seeing the scared look on your face.
"Hey, what's wrong?"
"I've been feeling off all morning. I think we're being watched."
Naruto nodded, "We'll keep an eye out, don't worry."
Naruto had you keep close to him, but that feeling never left you.
-
It wasn't long before three shinobi jumped out from the trees. They easily surrounded the four of you, itching to attack. Naruto twirled the kunai in his fingers before gripping it tightly as he stood in front of you. He could see one of them eyeing you, and he was worried about your safety.
It was easy for the fight to get out of hand quickly, the shinobi highly skilled. In the midst of all the chaos, the ninja that had eyed you took you in his grasp. The other two that were with him were taken out and he was willing to hold you hostage as leverage for his own life.
You were low on chakra, as was Sakura and Kakashi. Naruto was the only one left to help you out while they caught their breath.
"What are you gonna do, kid? Beg me to let them go? One step forward and I'll kill the brat."
You were exhausted, hardly able to move as the grip around you tightened. You knew what the life of a shinobi entails, but no matter how many situations you find yourself in like this, it's hard not to be at least a little bit frightened. The kunai he held dug into side, cause a noise to escape your throat. The sight of you hurt only fueled Naruto's rage even more.
"Let them go, now."
Your eyes widened as you saw Naruto start to physically change. The blue eyes you've come to love turned an angry red. The chakra that now flowed through him was the nine-tails, and seeing it up close was something in its self.
The man shook behind you, his grip loosening as Naruto rushed forward. Naruto calmed down once the man was unconscious, rushing over to you.
"I got you, [Y/N], you're gonna be okay. Sakura, can you help?"
Your wound was deep but with Sakura's medical ninjutsu you'd be healed up in no time. Naruto rested you against his chest, checking you out for other injuries.
"Can you walk?"
"I think so."
He helped you stand, rushing to catch you as you were about to topple over. He knelt in front of you, situating you on his back before standing. Your arms dangled loosely from his neck, barely holding onto him.
"We need to find somewhere to rest, Kakashi-Sensei. No one's able to make it home today."
-
You awoke a few hours later, gathering your surroundings before seeing Kakashi sitting against a tree reading, nothing unusual there.
"Glad to see you awake. Naruto and Sakura went to get more wood for the fire, find something to eat."
"Sounds good, I'm going to rest a few more minutes."
"We know Naruto's ugly but you don't have to keep your eyes closed."
You smiled at the sound of your friends returning, hearing Naruto yelling and complaining. You sat up, winching slightly. Naruto knelt besides you, gently resting his hand against your own.
"You worried me for a second there. Are you feeling okay?"
You nodded, "I'm a little sore but I'll live."
"Good," Naruto smiled, "don't know what I'd do without you."
-
Getting sleep that night was out of the question. Your dreams were filled with visions of the ninja who attack and especially the one that grabbed you. Only in your dreams, Naruto wasn't able to save you. Neither were Sakura or Kakashi. You woke with a panic, hand grasping your side.
You left your tent, quietly making your way over to Naruto's. You felt bad for wanting to wake him, as he looked so comfortable wrapped around his pillow. But he was the one person you could count on to comfort you. You shook him lightly, waiting for sleep to leave him as he sat up.
"[Y/N]? What are you doing up? Are we leaving?"
You shook your head, "No, I'm sorry to wake you I just- I can't sleep, nightmares were getting too much."
Naruto frowned, "So why are you apologizing? We're friends, aren't we? You can talk to me."
You laid beside him, wanting to tell him how you felt. How scared you were that he'd have to watch you die. You were just scared.
"I wasn't prepared, and that scared the shit out of me."
He turned toward you, hand holding yours, "I can imagine, I'm just glad you're okay."
His eyes stared into your own, and a sense of calm washed over you. Naruto leaned forward slightly, eyes glancing at your lips before looking back up at you. You closed the gap, lips meeting his in a soft kiss. He pushed you closer, minding your injury as he held you close.
He placed his forehead against yours, a smile pulling at his lips, "I've been wanting to do that for so long."
You chuckled, hand cupping his cheek, "What's stopping you from doing it again?"
"Depends on your answer if I asked you on a date."
You nodded, "I'd be happy to go on a date with you, Naruto."
He let out a small laugh, rubbing the back of his neck before kissing you again.

Second half of the Assault Lily collab was today. The fight against the Huge takes up a good amount of it so I can summarize a bit more easily (although a lot of it is mostly a scene between Kirika and Kaede thanks to that)
Hibiki was overdoing her training after the flow of the fight got all messed up at the end of the first half but Tsubasa, Riri, and Yuyu come in and convince her to take a break since she's worrying everyone
So the four of them go out for ramune. Hibiki and Tsubasa have to have it laid out for them that just calling each other Sister or by a first name isn't what matters, it's their bonds and the experiences they've shared fighting alongside each other. They start addressing each other as they normally do again instead of trying to force something that wasn't natural for them
Riri (to Yuyu): You're the best big sister in the world!
Hibiki: Ah, I'm not gonna lose to you. My big sister is the best in the world!
Tsubasa: Hey, weren't we going to stop?
Hibiki: Aw, but it's true and I kinda like calling you that. Is it okay if I still do so every once in a while?
Tsubasa: I am begging you, cut it out
So after that they run into Kirika and learn that Kaede's been ignoring her until she apologizes, but Kirika just does not get what she needs to apologize for. The others don't really seem to get it either but they suggest perhaps she could try putting herself in Kaede's shoes for a bit to maybe understand her side a little better. Hibiki gives the starting point of Kaede's feelings towards Riri being the same as Kirika's towards Shirabe's, even if the relationships themselves are different
Kirika goes off to think about it and Hibiki wonders if the advice was even any good or just nonsense and Tsubasa says at this point to just let them work it out themselves
Later the Huge guarding the wormhole appears again. Hibiki and Tsubasa are having an easier time watching each other's backs but Kaede keeps rushing in on her own and ignoring Kirika who's trying to help. She almost gets hit by an attack but Kirika covers for her. Kaede agrees to listen to her just once as a special thanks for taking the hit
Kirika starts to bring up Shirabe but then Kaede just goes "We're done here, good day" saying she doesn't want to listen to her brag about her love life
Kirika assures her she's not just bragging about her love life but warns her she's not very good at thinking or talking so she ends up rambling:
Kirika: I love Shirabe! She means so SO much to me! But uh...Shirabe says she loves me too, and...wait no, that's not quite what I...No matter what my relationship with Shirabe is or what she thinks of me, the point is that I love Shirabe! I really really really love Shirabe, always, forever and ever! So, uhh...Huh? ...What was I saying?
Kaede: Okay that's enough. What was that you said about "I'm not going to brag about my love life?" That's 100% what you're doing!
Kirika begs her for another chance but Kaede says she won't get one...because she's fine now. Even if it's unrequited between herself and Riri, the feelings they have towards someone else are the same
Now that Kaede's cooled down from her irrational anger with Kirika, she finally comes up with the idea of hitting Kirika with her CHARM the same way Riri and Yuyu accidentally did to Hibiki and Tsubasa to get her Gear to change forms. Kirika's nervous about it at first, since it's not guaranteed to work, but says she'll trust Kaede, even if she is "kinda weird sometimes"
Kaede hits her so hard she knocks her back. She doesn't think it worked at first so she goes back to the Huge by herself but Kirika gets back up like "Geez, you didn't have to hit me so hard!"
Tumblr media
At least it worked lol
They team back up with the other four to fight the larger Huge but they can't seem to take it down and Hibiki comes up with a plan that's so ridiculous it just has to work
She suggests the Neunwelt tactic ("But we don't have enough Lilies NOR the bullet") and comes up with basically using S2CA with Kirika and Tsubasa since the three of them can't actually use Magie and then combining that with the Neunwelt tactic (with less people) making HERSELF be the bullet passed between Kaede, Yuyu, and Riri
...And of course they somehow pull it off and finally take out the Huge
Afterward they promise to see each other again and go out for ramune together and the Lilies go back to their world through the wormhole
Events often have a bonus scene that unlocks after EX Quest 4 is added to the event and cleared so perhaps there will be one here too

It has now been 2 weeks since Techno's secret has been discovered, and needless to say, it was a huge weight off his shoulders.
He would still drink the potion from time to time, earning a small glare from his friends.
"Come on, it's not because I'm a giant that I have to stop seeing the world from your point of view. Plus I don't have to worry about crushing you or stepping on you everytime."
"Sure… but this better not have anything to do with your fears of rejection because we're humans. Because we told you-"
"-told you it's fine and we don't care and will continue to view you as the same person despite everything. I know." Techno finished with a smile.
And maybe he was still a bit insecure about the whole ordeal. Maybe. But he did his best to push his anxieties aside, and when the potion wore off, he would still hang out with his friends for a couple hours more. So it was progress!
Plus, while hanging with people at his real size, he found much more fun ways to torment his pals.
"Hey, that's not fair!! Give it back!!" Tommy yelled, jumping as high as he could
"Heh, if you want your Juke-box back, just come and grab it~" the giant taunted, dangling the precious object (carefully) a good 30 ft above the human. Wilbur and Phil simply laughed at the scene as Tommy tried to climb on techno's shirt, since he was lying down, only for him to fall back on the ground. ("It always seems so easy in the movies, what the fuck?! That's not fair.") Techno's movements always stopped as soon as he felt the boy trying to climb, and suppressed a laugh as he failed.
After a couple more attempts and laughter, Techno gave back the precious box to Tommy, who held it close to his chest.
"Oohh, my precious, how have I missed you"
"Come on, I only took it for 20 minutes" Techno snorted
"And that's 20 minutes of me being separated from my true love!! How could you" he said, overdramatically.
"What a vile creature I am, truly" he replied, deadpan.
Eventually, the conversation shifted back to random topics. It was nice.
After a moment though, Techno noticed Tommy staring blankly at him, silent. After a couple more seconds, the blond prompted.
"What is it like, to see things from up there?"
Everyone turned to look at Tommy. Techno raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"
"What's it like, you know? Because you can and have seen things from our perspective, but I don't know what it's like to have your eyes so up high."
Techno was taken aback. Usually they did not really mention their size difference, aside from jokes and nicknames. He felt his throat tightening a bit.
Before he could answer, though, Tommy asked. "Can you show me?"
Immediately, Techno's mind was filled with a thousand possibilities this might go wrong. He tried to mute them down hard.
"Well, sorry to disappoint you buddy, but I don't have any 'growth potion' so I can't really-"
"No, I meant like, you grab me up there." Tommy corrected, very casually.
Techno stepped back "WHAT? Tommy, I can't- … I …"
"What, is it illegal or something?"
Techno could only see thoughts of his friend getting hurt by his carelessness. He never held a human before! Not like that!!
"No, but- … I … what if I grab you too hard, or lift you too fast? Or if you fall?? I-"
"Well I'll tell you if there's something wrong, big man." Tommy reassured. "And don't worry. I'm not made of porcelain."
"I.. yeah, I guess so.." That didn't mean he couldn't get hurt by a giant. But oh well. Tommy seemed dead set on the idea, and no one can make Tommy deviate from his plans.
He swallowed back the lump in his throat and slowly lowered his hand until it was on the ground, next to his friend not bigger than it.
Tommy casually hopped on it as if it was the hundredth time he's done so, and looked at techno with kind eyes.
Carefully, he moved on to a sitting position, and, as he internally screamed for his morbid thoughts to stop, lifted his hand. Tommy lost a bit of balance at first, surprised by the feeling, but was fine the whole way through.
When the hand reached Techno's chest, however, he stopped. Dead still. Tommy's brow furrowed and he lifted his head to see the other's expression.
Techno's mind was frozen. It was one thing to imagine a human in your hand, but it was miles away from actually holding one.
He literally held a whole life in his hand,
and could do so as he pleases… He could do so many horrible things to the boy, who would be powerless to stop him.
And he could protect it. He was like a sanctuary for them to come to. He could wrap himself easily around his humans and keep them safe for as long as he desired…
So much power, simply sitting in his hand…
It was too much
So many thoughts screamed in his ears at once, and he could not focus on anything but the blond boy. He saw his lips moving, but couldn't hear anything. The overwhelming realisation hitting him too hard. So many images, contradicting each other. He could hurt them- protect them- squish them- keep them safe- kill them- make sure no harm came to them- imprison them- bring them to new heights-
"-no. Techno?? Big man what's up?? Come on, talk to us."
With a gasp, he finally regained his senses.
"I-I'msorry, I… I can't- I just can't." He hurriedly put the human back down, with rapid breathing. Before they could ask another question he reached for his potion and drank a good half of it and shut his eyes closed, desperately trying to shut the thoughts with it.
After a few agonizingly long minutes, he opened his eyes and, sighing with relief, registered he shrunk back to a human size. (One he could not hurt his friends with.)
Phil and Wilbur were already at his sides, with Tommy a few steps away.
"What happened, Techno? Are you okay??" Wilbur asked
Techno took a deep breath, and was immensely glad his thoughts quieted down to almost nothing. It was safe now. They were okay.
"Yeah- yeah… I'm fine." He took another deep breath and met Phil's sad expression. Guilt crushed him for a second.
"It's just… it was uhm… a bit too much. I, I didn't realize just how much… how much things it changes…"
Phil and Wilbur looked at each other, confused. Techno wanted to explain further, but the images threatened to flow back. He was stuck.
A mumble from behind broke the three of them out of their trances, and they looked at Tommy, shifting a bit at the sudden attention.
"I'm sorry Techno…" he mumbled again. "I should have known."
Steadily, techno stood up, taking a couple steps towards Tommy, who did not flinch. He let him close the distance, which he did with a strong hug.
"I'm sorry." Tommy whispered to his ear. Techno hugged back, holding the human like a lifeline. "That was probably too much."
"I saw so many things… I could do so many things… I don't want to hurt you" the giant's breath was shaking.
"I know, big man. And I know you won't." Tommy reassured.
"But it's so easy…" techno replied, loud enough that the other two could hear him.
"But you won't. The fact that you stopped the second you realised means that you won't."
Techno held onto the words, thought them back in his head, muttered them like a mantra.
"I won't. I won't. I won't hurt you."
"You won't. You're alright, big man. You're alright."
Slowly, techno let go of Tommy, who did the same.
He turned around and saw his two other friends. Immediately, Wilbur hugged him. He laughed in surprise before hugging back.
He then looked at Phil, and the guilt from before returned again.
"Sorry I took the potion." He mumbled "I wasn't thinking very clearly."
He felt a hand on his shoulder, and suddenly, Philza was smiling at him. A sympathetic, unapologetic, precious smile that only he could manage. "It's alright mate. It's probably scary to be so different sometimes. If you feel like it's better, then I trust you. We'll wait until you're ready."
He swore his eyes were teary, but he couldn't bring himself to care. "Thank you."
"Anytime, mate." Phil replied.
First times often aren't perfect, that's for sure. But one day, he would be confident enough that he could make them see the world from his eyes.

You smiled as your gaze looked out the window, the eternal abyss staring back as it was littered with the misty colors of turquoise, lavender, and many shades of rose- stars littering the rest of the scene in front of you. You leaned your head against the metal framing of the window, your hair cushioning you comfortably as thoughts sat still in your mind, your body calm as well.
Tumblr media
How long has it been since you were on the ship?
"Hey kid, don't sleep with your neck like that- you'll mess it up" Quills voice rang out, but it sounded far away, muffled. You didn't know if it was cause of your tiredness or your spaced out state, but you couldn't seem to care by that point. You felt thick gloves move around your neck, the other moving under your knees, before a huff and some grumbling.
"I don't know what you'll do without us, but even then," He sighed, carrying your body to the closest area where you could rest properly under his gaze, on the plush rest area in the cabin, allowing him to navigate the stars while keeping you near- though he'd vehemently denied it at any and every comment about it, the Guardian had grown attached to you, finding a child in you where you found a father in him.
"I don't think I want you leaving the nest so soon."
"As we all know, poetry and language flow like the wind. There'll definitely be someone there who knows about your friends. At least, that's what Paimon thinks!" Your guide chimed, hovering in front of you as you both made your way down the side of the hill, the vibrant and thick greens of the grass and trees were only further complimented by the sun- this place definitely was beautiful. You didn't feel warm, or overheated, which surprised you, especially with how bright the sun was. The cool breeze was constant in this place, giving an Autumn chill to a Spring setting, at this rate you'd think you'd need your body suit to warm you up.
"Whether the gods actually answer you is a different story. You never know unless you try. So let's hop to it!" You can practically feel her smile, her small head turning back to you, Paimon's small body bouncing up at how you were listening to her so intently. By the time you reached the statue, she started to cross again, having the privilege of floating while you... did not.
"You can swim right over! Don't push yourself though!"
"Let's just hope I don't sink with all the gear I have... or get electrocuted." You joked, walking into the water till your hot waist level, deciding at that point swimming was best.
"W-what? Don't just jump in then!" She shouted, still loud as ever in that tiny body of hers, floating above you with a worried look on her face.
"I'm fine, I'm fine. My gear is all waterproof, so there isn't an issue there." You huffed, climbing onto the shore of the tiny island before shaking off the water and straining what you could, lightening your load as much as allowed.
        "See? All good."
"Well don't joke like that! Paimon doesn't know what she'll do if anything happens to you... Paimon doesn't even wanna think about it!" She exclaims, a hand to her head, her face still concerned. You sighed, a small smile coming to your face before you took a small hand into your own, rubbing the soft skin to soothe her.
"Alright. I'm sorry about that joke, I won't make any of those types again, alright? I'm not going anywhere. Not without you, Paimon." You smiled, sincerity in your voice, making her smile and nod her head.
"Good! Paimon’ll make sure to keep that in mind for the future."
"I'll hold you to it." You smirked, walking up to the statue, finding interest in the large golden plate. You reached out, taking the glove off your hand to get a proper feel of the metal, before taking a step back in shock. The statues' indentations lit up and aquamarine, the one you were so used to seeing outside of terrestrial planes, before a deep thump resounded in your head- much like a heartbeat. A small swirl of wind danced around the statue before the orb held in place started to glow, small particles combing in the center before forming a small sigil with wings that flew straight towards your chest.
You felt a rush of cool air through your veins, like an excitement you couldn't explain, whips of teal surrounding your body as you could only take another step back and look to your uncovered hand to see for any physical changes as well- to which there were none. But you felt something. In your chest, your heart, something that was stirring and it didn't seem to slow down.
"Ooh! Did you just feel the elements of the world?" Paimon asked, allowing you to turn and face her, your face still showing a stunned expression from... whatever that was.
"Seems all you had to do was just touch the statue and you got the power of Anemo! As much as they may want it, people in this world can never get a hold of powers as easily as you..." She explained, crossing her arms over the matter, an idea popping into your head at the same time.
"I think I might know why-"
"Ah-ha, it's because you're not from this world to begin with. If we keep heading West from here, we'll eventually reach Mondstadt, the City of Freedom. Mondstadt is the city of wind because they worship the God of Anemo." She cuts you off, making you only hum at the action, allowing her to continue.
"So perhaps, because you got the power from the God of Anemo, you can find some clues there. There are also lots of bards there, so perhaps one of them has heard news of your friends."
"That isn't a bad idea, Paimon." You smiled, thankful she was so serious and straightforward with helping you find the twins, something that seemed to be floating around in your head as you took in everything from this new world. She was like an anchor to keep you grounded, and for that, you were extremely thankful to her- beyond words.
"Let's move then!" Obviously happy with your praise at her deduction and planning, though simple, it was a good and steady start- and that's what you needed at this moment.
"The elements in this world responded to your prayers and Paimon thinks that's a lovely sign." She finished, her gaze reaching behind you as some Slimes approached, eyes wide at the intrusion by the elemental mutants. You followed her gaze, finding the flaming creatures to be bouncing right in your direction, your surprise evident on your face.
"Ah, shit." You grumbled, taking a few steps back, your arm starting to stir up with energy. It felt like when you drank too much coffee, to the point where even your limbs were vibrating, wisps of turquoise enveloping your palm on instinct. The small slime soon was sucked into the vortex you had made, swirling around before getting blasted away, back onto the land- over the lake and away from you.
"Ugh, gross." You winced, noticing the slime that coated the land in front of you, and your dominant hand. Wiping your hand, you decided it was best to swim to the other side of the lake, following Paimon as you escaped the burning grasses. You could only laugh as she huffed about wanting "cool fighting powers" as well, reaching the end of the lake and making your way further in.
"You know, it may not be a blessing. Usually powers like these have consequences..." You said, wringing out your hair as the wind started to pick up, but this time it wasn’t by your own hand.
"You shouldn't say that! These powers are a blessing from the Archons and for that you should be grateful! They'd never allow anything bad to happen to the people they've blessed with their own two hands." A low rumble started to echo through the area, making you turn your body and look around for what was causing it as you continued your talk with Paimon.
"I get that... but still, usually the Gods and whatever powerful beings there are have some type of plan along with it- at least that's how it worked in my world."
"Then maybe you should consider our world works differently?" She quips her head.
"A god is a god." You huffed, the rumbling becoming louder before a dragon caught your vision, making you gasp in awe. Six wings, four limbs, a large tail, and decorated in patterns of blues that made it almost blend with the sky if its wings didn't hold an ethereal glow, a white underbelly contrasted with the rest of its body.
"Wow! What is that? There's something huge in the sky!"
"You guys have dragons here?" You exclaimed, walking in its direction to where it flew, making sure to lower your output of noise due to the camps that were littered nearby with humanoid creatures.
"It's heading to the heart of the forest, where we're going, so make sure to be careful." Paimon notes, keeping up with your pace as you jogged into the forest, collected some things along the way that could help in the future. By the time you had reached the forest, you slowed your pace to a comfortable walk, looking around and making sure not to run into anything aggressive- or the dragon you two had just seen.
        Maybe it continued flying anyways?
"Huh? Look at that." Paimon pointed in front of the both of you, the grumbling appearing once again.
        You were wrong.
Moving to hide behind one of the larger trees, you pressed your back against it before slowly turning your head to look at the scene in front of you, still making sure to keep your noise at the bare minimum. The dragon from before was standing before you, almost cautious of the person that stood before them, a short man dressed in turquoise and white, holding his hands outward to the dragon before him.
"Don't be afraid. It's alright now, I'm back." He spoke gently, ignoring the dangerous growls coming from the beast in front of him. It made you worry at the sight and activate the mask that was embedded into your earpiece, still watching as Paimon spoke up.
"Is he talking... to a dragon?" She questioned, right as your palms lit up with the Anemo power you had just gained, a glowing pattern forming as it burst with life, alerting the dragon and scaring it away with a scream of displeasure.
"Who's there?" The man questioned as he jumped back, his gaze in your direction before taking a few steps back, disappearing in a glow of light. Your hair felt like it was about to be yanked out as the dragon flapped its wings before taking off, leaving you dazed at what had just happened, and headache from the harsh tug. You stood there in shock for a bit, not saying anything as your hand buzzed and fizzled out, focusing on calming down your heart rate- deactivating your mask to breathe better as well.
"That was close! Paimon almost got blown away!" Your guide yelped. "Luckily Paimon managed to grab a hold of your hair! Thanks." She smiled, handed over her heart, and you felt your energy drain immensely in the moment.
"Good thing you didn't pull my hair out." You sighed, rubbing the aching spot to soothe your head as Paimon continued to speak, you following closely behind.
"This definitely has something to do with that weirdo who was talking to the dragon..." She trailed off.
"Is... that normal? Talking to dragons?" You asked, confusion written on your face, wanting to know if this was a common occurrence in this world.
"Of course not. But what's that? There's some kind of shiny red thingy on the rock over there." She pointed out. You both walked over to look at the glowing item, her warnings falling on deaf ears as Paimon spoke about never seeing anything like this before, making unable to help in this specific situation.
"Let's keep this, just in case." You mumbled, your bare hands picking up the gem(?) with ease before packing it into your belt, tucked away safely and unable to escape.
"Good idea, now let's get out of here."
"Agreed." You nodded, deciding to stroll through the forest for a bit, both to rest and catch up on your thoughts, maybe ask Paimon more about this world and how it worked- so you don't seem like a bumbling idiot to the locals. But before you could do any of that, a yell came from behind you, rushed footsteps following at the same time.
"You there! Stop right there!" A girl yelled, jumping across your field of vision off the small pass, dressed in red and white with long brown hair, rolling as she hit the ground before coming back up to a stand.
        "..."
        "Are you fucking kidding me?"

Frozen 3 concept
I'mma start off with explaining that I'm not the biggest fan of Frozen and I'm definitely not a fan of Elsa's character in general.
But as much as I love the songs and outfits of the second movie, the inconsistencies and how it never explains how sh🤬 works in the world with magic and such are just infuriating. As well as why the spirit that connects them controls ice which is just a variation of water. And how the Frozen franchise just loves to make Elsa more special within every installment.
I am so very tired of it. So I came up with a way that it could all be fixed and make sense if they make a third movie.
Also to note that Anna and Elsa are supposed to be two halves of the fifth spirit but that's VERY briefly touched in movie (quote: well actually a bridge has two sides and mother had two daughters) and Disney themselves take Elsa as the fifth spirit alone so that's stupid.
Why Elsa specifically controls ice
We all know how we're frustrated with the fact that Elsa is supposed to connect all the elements when she only controls ice.
But let's think about it from another prospective. The first movie is based about the seasons. It's a seasonal theme rather than an elemental theme like in its sequel. So why not bring that back?
The enchanted forest cannot be the ONLY place that has mystical spirits. What if there were three other forests with their own fifth spirits and each fifth spirit represented a season?
And each seasonal spirit's magic is a mix of two elements.
Elsa/Winter: Ice = water + air
Spring: Plants = water + earth
Summer: Lava = earth + fire
Fall: Lightning/Storms = air + fire
This still fits in with the fact that the fifth spirit can play back moments in time as well. Each spirit has their own Ahtohallan. Elsa's is made of ice because it's just frozen water and the water is was plays back those moments in time.
Spring's would be like an island made of plants, fungi and marsh. Plants have water running within them so they can take the form of moments in time like Elsa's ice statues.
Summer's would be a volcano with a river flowing through it. Lava and water can mix to create lava rocks. When doing so the memories within that water would be imbedded into the rocks they form and therefore be able to play moments in time as rock statues.
Autumn's would basically be a fog bank with almost ghostly figures making up the memories since fog is a mist, aka: water. Kinda like the scene where Elsa fights the wind spirit and their powers mix for a moment.
Where the others come from
For this, I decided to look around other lands within that side of the world that has legends of spirits. I decided upon:
Spring = Scotland
Summer = Arabia
Fall/Autumn = Japan
I chose for Arabia to be summer, of course , because it's a desert country so it very hot. Japan is autumn because it's culture and everything just always reminded be of the beauty of fall. And Scotland is spring because that's what was left and when I think of Scotland, I think of it's green forests and plants.
Nothing too deep.
Personalities
You think I'd make Summer hotheaded and spring, giddy and bouncy, right?
No, because you see, as I've stated in another post of mine; Why Frozen Doesn't Work In The Big Four, I explained how Elsa's personality reconciles more with summer. The opposite season of her own.
Elsa is kinda quiet, gentle, diplomatic, practical, worries silently and is angelically innocent (even though she doesn't deserve to be).
All are traits relating to summer. So if her personality is opposed to her season, then it'd be the same for the other fifth spirits.
Spring would be a leader, confident, energetic, true to a cause, dependable, easily irritated and stubborn.
Summer would be reserved, well mannered, a good listener, natural poise and pessimistic.
And autumn would be energetic, tender-hearted, optimistic, friendly and overly talkative.
How the spirits work
I fully believe that the spirits have no physical form but rather inhabit certain things. Basically possession but the spirits don't have control over themselves once they choose a vessel and depending on the solidarity of what their element is, determines what kind of vessel they need.
The wind spirit is said to be a playful spirit and would want to make its own choices. Being an element you can't hold, it doesn't really need a host.
Water is liquid and needs something to be it's host but doesn't necessarily need something alive. Therefore it can inhabit a small animal or it inhabits its own element, hence a water horse.
Fire isn't a solid or liquid but it's not necessarily a gas either. Fire always needs to burn on something in order to burn. Therefore it cannot just make out it's own body like water but it doesn't need a large vessel. Hence, a little salamander.
Earth is the most solid of them all so it would need multiple hosts in order to sustain itself. That's why there are multiple earth giants and not just one like the other spirits.
I believe the spirits don't have control over their actions once they choose a host because all the spirits (besides wind) seem to not know what's even going on most of the time. And that would explain why the spirits didn't get rid of the dam themselves, because their vessels didn't know that was the problem.
I also believe that they need a host to begin with because they are actually susceptible to death. As it has been confirmed that Elsa is NOT immortal and there wouldn't have been a legend of a fifth spirit if people hadn't seen one before.
It would also explain how the spirits drove the citizens out of Arendelle without physically being there; they managed to leave their hosts for a time in order to do so. Along with what the light that Elsa was following at Ahtohallan, was. The fifth spirit was able to sustain itself by staying in its birth place and activated the memory of Elsa's mom singing, to bring Elsa there and when Elsa's dress transforms is when the spirit possesses her.
Why does the fifth spirit need to be human? Because humans are more durable. The fifth spirit doesn't control anything completely solid like rock so it doesn't need multiple vessels but it also controls more than a single element, therefore is too much to figure out/control for just any animal.
That's why it chose a very young child to give it's powers to rather than the person who actually did the deed of saving their enemy. It needs to be someone who will have the time to learn and control their powers by adulthood.
(Despite Elsa not truly being worthy and being a horrible sister, she was already chosen at birth and she at least gets the job done. At everyone else's expense but still.)
Plot
How would the seasonal spirits meet? Why would they leave their homes for this? What brings them together?
The four sided snowflake represents the elements connected to the winter spirit. Every season would have their own version of this. But there are also four seasons just like there are four elements.
Tumblr media
So, could there be a fifth spirit for the fifth spirits? A fifth spirit to connect the seasons and if so, what is it? What's their power?
I believe, much like the winter spirit called to Elsa, the ultimate fifth spirit will call all the seasonal spirit's to come together at a single location. Anna would come with Elsa as well, of course, and during their journey, they'd all eventually meet each other along the way.
Eventually Anna would start to feel a little neglected when Elsa keeps talking to / about the other people who also have magic. Anna doesn't wish for magic, but she wishes for Elsa to finally see herself and Anna as equals (because Elsa clearly wouldn't after finding others like herself, let's be real). So Anna goes off to have her own sort of "Show Yourself" moment and is the one to find the location they've been looking for which is where she becomes their fifth spirit; the Aurora Borealis.
It was in one of the original scripts for the first movie that Anna was gonna have the power to control the Aurora Borealis, but then the creators decided that took away from Elsa's agency for self isolation due to her powers.
It's true that Anna having been able to accomplish what she did without powers is one of her best attributes but Anna becoming the light spirit is really the only way she's gonna get any appreciation within the fan base or the disney community. Plus Anna's done all the work to begin with so she deserves it.
With the other spirits being seasonal & elemental, it would only make sense for the one to connect them all would be light.
But all the spirits also have an opposite to balance them out:
Fire | Water
Earth | Air
Winter | Summer
Spring | Autumn
So maybe the reason they were all being called there is because Light's opposite is Darkness and it's plotting to take them all out. They are in charge of keeping balance and darkness wants to create chaos. But you also need darkness for balance, so maybe someone else will be with them through the journey and become the vessel for darkness in order to control it. Because, again, spirits have no control once they have a host.
This could be a possible redemption arc for Hans. We could learn about what he's been through and what truly drove him to be the bad guy because from what we know of his brothers, they were really bad. I think he just really lost a nerve due to unintentional (or intentional) abuse and was trying to prove to his family that he was better than they believed. People who suffer from abuse can be irrational like that.
I think it would be a phenomenal thing for him to overcome his inner darkness while also taking control of the literal spirit of darkness.
Metaphorical-wise it's beautiful.
Art/Designs
I edited the other seasons + Anna off of concept art for Elsa's white dress while Hans is kinda my own creation but I still used his concept art for a base. Everything after that are purely original.

“I have to leave...”
Jasper Hale x reader
My breath catches in my throat for what feels like the thousandth time today, my ears deceiving and tormenting me with the sounds of movement in my room, someone at the door or the window, none of which reveal themselves as real as I sit in almost complete darkness at the end of my bed.
I hadn't thought to turn a light on when I assumed my spot here an hour ago, and now that the sun has gone down completely, my stress has seemingly inhibited my ability to move from my frozen state.
Every few seconds my eyes will dart to the clock, simultaneously willing the time to go faster and wishing the time I'm waiting for will never come.
Anyone who saw me would think I'm going crazy; hands fiddling unrelentingly in my lap, knee bouncing at a speed I thought could never be reached, teeth chewing mercilessly at the inside of my cheeks and my whole body  jumping at every single sound my ears can pick up.
My usually calm persona flew straight out the window the moment I sat in my car to drive home from school, seeing a note written in my boyfriends perfectly cursive handwriting: we need to talk, I'll be at yours at seven.
That sentence would never usually trigger this response from me, but when your boyfriend is a vampire who has a somewhat "brother" with a girlfriend that clearly has a hard time avoiding catastrophe, he could be on his way to tell you anything. And given the escapade that happened not too long ago with a psychotic vampire who went by the name James, my mind had learnt to assume the worst.
Ten minutes.
For about an hour and a half when I got home from school I was able to distract myself to a certain extent, doing the laundry for my mother so she doesn't have to do it when she gets home from working a late shift at the hospital and cooking a meal for myself that she can easily heat up when she gets home; but there's only so much television you can watch that will keep your mind occupied when something so big is weighing on you.
"Y/N?" I almost scream, jumping to my feet at lightening speed as Jasper appears through my window.
I must have been worrying too much about how much I was worrying to notice him even coming through the window. That, or his speed as a vampire is just too superior to my human eyesight.
"Jasper" I breathe quietly, only really noticing now that I had been holding my breath.
He doesn't say anything for the moment, just approaches me slowly and reaches out for my hand, taking it from where it hung limp at my side and bringing it to his lips for a second before tangling our fingers together.
"What's wrong, Jas?"
My feelings of worry solidify after watching his behaviour, if what he wants to talk about isn't bad then why hasn't he kissed me like usually does? Why hasn't he made a joke about how messy my room is? Why hasn't he made an excuse to call me "ma'am" in his perfect southern accent?
"You're going to hate me" He says after a few minutes of silence, my heart clenching at the thought of him thinking I could ever harbour that strong a feeling against him.
"Jasper you know I could never, just tell me what's going on"
He sighs and for a moment, just a moment, I let myself get lost in his honeycomb eyes that usually make me feel like I'm the only girl in the world when they're focused on me. Now they're just filling me with dread.
"I have to leave"
My eyebrows raise immediately, my first instinct being to accuse him of lying or trying to prank me, before I really look into his eyes and see no trace of a lie, no trace of him trying not to crack a smile.
"Excuse me?" Is the only thing I can seem to muster at this point, needing more explanation before my brain can even begin to comprehend what he means by that.
"Edward wants to leave. He doesn't want this life for Bella, he thinks if we leave for long enough she can learn to live without him and be happy"
His voice is monotone, no emotion to it whatsoever as he apparently tries to avoid meeting my eyes again as I glare up at him.
"Okay? So let him leave what does that have to do with you?" My stubbornness is coming out, playing naive when I know full well the Cullens are a family and would never let Edward leave indefinitely on his own if he didn't have to.
"Baby you know I can't st—"
"So you're telling me you're leaving me because Edward can't get over himself and let Bella choose what life she wants to live?" I interrupt, panic flowing through my body at the thought of losing the one person I don't think I could survive without.
I know he can feel it, but I know he knows better than to try and influence my emotions at a time like this.
"What happened to not being able to stay away from me? To me being the only thing that makes you sane? Did all that just go away?" He doesn't speak for a long period of time so I do it for him, challenging him with his own words that he's spoken to me more than once.
I can tell that this hurt him, whether it was the insinuation that he lied to me, or the accusation that his feelings for me were so weak that he could just turn them off and leave. Deep down I know neither reason is true,  but at this point I don't care. He knows he's hurting me beyond what I've ever felt before and my instinct is to fight back.
"You know that's not true..." His voice is just a whisper when he finally speaks, his eyes closing for a second before he looks at me again. My heart falters at the sadness in his eyes, wanting to reach out and fix it. But I can't. He's the one leaving.
"I can come and visit...you can come away with me for a while in the holidays I promise" He lifts his hand to tuck a piece of my hair away behind my ear but I step back, refusing to look at him.
I'm being stubborn and slightly unreasonable and I'm fully aware of it. Part of me hopes that if I throw a tantrum he'll stay, but I know it would kill him to stay away from the family he's been with for so long.
"It's only until graduation and then you can join us wherever we're staying!" I can hear the desperation in his voice and it makes my heart break a little bit.
I don't know when he did it, but he'd reached over and turned a lamp on at some point, possibly when he got here, which allows me to see his pleading eyes, begging me to be okay with the situation he's laid out for me.
"I can't lose you" He steps towards me again and reaches out his hand to cup my jaw and this time I let him.
"Then you won't"
This is me surrendering to him. Accepting the fact that  he will leave and I can either throw a tantrum and shut him out of my life completely or accept that I'll have to make do with seeing him when possible until I graduate. It would kill me to go on without him. So i'll have to make do.
His hands slide around my waist to take their place on the small of my back, pulling me into him as I slowly place my arms around his neck, aware that he still has problems with his thirst from time to time and not wanting to trigger anything.
"Come on, you need to sleep" Jasper speaks after a long period of silence, neither of us wanting to let the other go.
He sits on my bed while I change out of my jeans and into an oversized shirt, pulling me on top of him as soon as I climb onto my bed. This is something he wouldn't usually do, scared that his control would slip and he'd do something to hurt me, but he underestimates himself hugely and I trust him with my life.
"Please don't cry" He lifts a hand to my face to wipe the few tears that grace my cheeks. I hadn't even noticed I was crying until he acknowledged it.
"I love you" I whisper in the dark, taking his hand from my face and intertwining our fingers together.
Jaspers lips are soft against mine as he pulls me down gently to kiss him, his free hand holding my body against his.
"I love you more"

Ethereal
/ — extremely delicate and light in a way that seems too perfect for this world. /
《 Ethereal (I) 》 《 Ethereal (II) 》 《 Ethereal (III) 》
Tumblr media
You confidently walked down the halls, your chin up as a smirk played on your scarlet tinted plump lips, highlighting your outstanding features. Your long raven black hair easily flowed behind your back. Your ego boosted with every whispers about how beautiful you looked today, or about how you aced the exam when most of the school's population misserably, failed.
The thought reminding you that everyone are dying to be you, dying to be with you made you smile.
How cute.
You opened the door of room 88, a room only you and your friends are allowed to enter, the dim lighting welcomed you as the sound of their chatter stopped once they noticed your thrilling presence, "hey, missed me?"
The sound of their 'nope's','nah's', and 'not really's' flowed, making you roll your eyes, liars.
You plopped down on the comfortable sofa, resting your feet on the table as you leaned against Minseok. You reached out for a grape, popping it inside your mouth, "any news?"
"Sehun and his minions are causing trouble, again. Isn't he like... in love with you? Can you talk to that dumbass? He's getting into my nerves." Junmyeon, the 2nd in rank as you were the 1st, though, he's responsible in handling this kind of stressful, pointless situations because you have zero patience in dealing with it.
"No way I'm talking to that loser."
"Your dad said so himself, he wants no trouble." Ria said as she took a shot of liquor.
Tumblr media
Strolling with a frown on your face, you managed to scare people blocking your way. You glared your way through, the annoyance and impatience evident on your face.
You stood in front of the football field, your arms folded against your chest with Ria and Joy behind your back, either playing with their hair or checking the look of their nails.
You rolled your eyes as people cheared for him. That dumbass has been playing quite hard since you step foot the field, sending you glances accompanied by smirks and winks which made you want to go sparring with his face as the target.
After the awfully long game, he approached you with a smirk as you faked a smile for him. Once he reaches you, he immediately planted a hand on your waist. You wanted to kick him so badly, but you decided not to, Dad wants no trouble.
You lifted your hand and played with the collar of his shirt in a quite sultry way, hiding the fact that you find his closeness pretty irritating, "so, when will you stop being a pain in the ass?" You said as you offered him a genuine-looking smile.
"I don't know, when will you be mine?" He countered as he was about to close the distance.
You placed your hand to his chest, stopping him from moving any closer, "do something I don't want you to, I'm going to break your neck." You smiled one last time before pushing him off you and stepping back.
You felt his eyes burning holes on your back as you walked away with a scowl plastered on your face.
You got out of that place with an exasperating sigh. "Where are we going?" Joy asked as she pulled out a small hand mirror out of her hand back.
"The library."
Ria pulled out a book and read, meanwhile Joy started answering her homework as your eyes wandered around for you have finished everything you had to do earlier today.
Your head titled as a boy wearing a pair of glasses and unstyled soft hair, lying delicately against his forehead caught your attention, he bit his thumb as his confused eyes stared at the book placed on the table in front of him. He's alone as he sat there with confusing invisible math equations floated around him.
"Do you know who that guy is?" You asked as a small smile formed on your lips as you continued on staring.
They followed your line of vision, Ria hummed, "Ooh, I know him. He's from my class, I think his name is Baekhyun or something like that, why?"
"He's cute."
"What? Are you into nerds now?" Joy snickered as she raised her eyebrow at you. You giggled as you continued on oggling.
Baekhyun, huh.
After some time, you abruptly stood up, shocking both Joy and Ria. You walked straight to the guy's table and sat down in front of him. A smirk appeared on your face when he raised his head to look at you, bewilderment written all over his cute features.
"H.. hi.." he stammered, pushing up his glasses that was drooping lowly on his nose, his smooth voice invading your senses, "is there anything wrong?"
"Oh," you smiled, "no. I just wanted to be acquainted with you." You reached your hand out as you introduced yourself.
"I... I know who you are." He said as he reached for your hand, his hands are a little shaky as it held yours, making you smile. "I'm Baekhyun."
"You know who I am?"
He nodded his head, his face filled with innocence, making you lick your lips. You have the sudden urge to touch him but you've just met and you didn't want to scare the poor boy.
Not yet, though.
Tumblr media
There's a lot going on with your family's business, the illegal one, just to be clear. You're one of the higher ranks overall, as you were blessed with wits and talent in physical combat and not just because you're the daughter of the founder. Your friends are daughters and sons of your father's friends and partners which are one of the most powerful and important people in the world like your father. The younger ones are expected to take over the business soon enough.
Each and one of the gang have different specialties, for you, you're quite familiar with knives and the sharpest things you could ever think of. Joy specializes guns and other lethal weapons and devices, as for Ria, she likes using her hands, let's say, she wants it raw and bare.
Sehun is the son of your father's rival gang. Which makes him more unbearable for you. Though, it isn't anything serious as long as no one starts anything. The funny things is, they wanted you and Sehun to marry to merge the two most powerful gangs, fortunately, your father declined. You couldn't be more thankful.
Sehun isn't so bad, it's just you couldn't stand him, he thinks he owns everything and it annoys you because you own everything. And no, you don't like sharing.
All that, and you can't get the cute boy in the library off your mind. Days have passed by quickly and his little cute innocent face still lingered. You didn't know what it was but oh, don't you just want to taint him?
As if on cue, you saw him walk towards where his locker is located, you smiled, there he is. You carefully walked to him, leaning against the wall.
He was surprised when he saw you there right after he closed the door of his locker, you caught him gripping the books he's holding in his hands as he gulped, "h... hi.."
"Hey, Baekhyun. How have you been doing?" You said as you smiled sweetly at him, earning glances from the students around you, the thing is, you didn't care. He's finally in front of you after those painful days you thought of him despite only having one interaction with him.
"I'm... I've been well."
You licked your lips, "would you like some coffee after class?"
His eyes widened a bit, you wanted coo at him but you kept it in, "really?" His eyes blinked rapidly, his mouth slightly agape. His smooth voice turning up the fire inside your chest, you smiled at him as you nodded your head. "O.. okay.."
"Then, I'll wait for you here."
He nodded, he tore his eyes off you and looked down the floor, quickly darting out of your way. Your amused gaze followed him as he entered his classroom, smirking to yourself. Not ignoring the fact that he smells like fucking flowers. You sighed, what a cutiepie.
"You're really going for it, huh."
You laughed as you turned around to face Junmyeon, he has an accusing look on his face, silently asking you to tell him everything. "Well, can't get him off my mind, why? Are you jealous?"
Your friendship with Junmyeon has been filled with teasing, in any way anyone could tease. He's the closest male friend you have since you two have always been partnered up in missions. He's willing to catch bullets for you and you are to him. Well, literally since it happened once or twice. You've tried getting into a relationship once but it didn't work out, deciding it's better to stick to being friends for the better but that doesn't mean you didn't love each other until now. You love him and he loves you.
"Oh, come on, I thought we're already past that, missy."
You rolled your eyes, pointing a scolding finger at him, "don't call me that, I don't like nicknames."
He laughed as he puts his arm around your shoulder, leading you to room 88.
Tumblr media
You leaned against the wall, your hand playing with the tips of your hair as you waited patiently. The door finally opened, catching your attention. Bunch of students got out, shocked by the fact that you're standing there, obviously waiting for someone. You raised your brow at them, making them almost run off your sight, you smirked.
Your eyes drifted from them to the nervous boy in front of you, his eyes shook as he looked at yours. You offered him a half smile, you nodded your head, signalling that he should follow you so he did.
You walked, bothered by the fact that he was behind you as he fidgeted, having so much space between you. You halted, making Baekhyun stop before he hit your back, his eyes widened by the action, "why are you so far away? Shouldn't we be walking together?"
He breathed, "I'm sorry..."
Your face softened, he looks so pure. You silently scolded yourself for scaring him, "don't worry about it. But walk with me, okay?"
He looked at you with soft eyes as he nodded. You continued walking and as he was asked to, he tried keeping up with you. You spotted the café few blocks from the school, going straight inside. You looked at him, he looked back at you with wide eyes, "what would you like to order?"
"No... I'll pay for mine," he countered as he shook his hands.
You raised you brow, smirking at him, "oh, no, I'll pay for this one."
He was about to say something but you gave him a stern look, immediately shutting him up. He nodded, "okay, then, you... you can decide for me." His voice soft and gentle, warming your heart.
What you felt made you nervous, you've never felt something like this for a long time. And you're feeling it for someone you just met? You groaned, "go, find a seat for us."
He quickly disappeared from your sight as he did so, you silently laughed to yourself, finding his behavior amusing and... interesting.
You placed the tray on the table, giving him his drink as you pulled out a chair in front of him for you to sit on.
As you settled down, you stared at this cute boy you couldn't get off your mind. You honestly didn't know what to say, this is the first time this ever happened. Oh well, I guess there's a first time for everything.
You sat and drank there quietly, choosing not to say anything until he cleared his throat. You gave him your undivided attention as you waited for him to say something. "Why... why are you doing this?"
"What do you mean?"
"Bringing me here... talking to me.." you squinted your eyes, trying to process what he meant, "I... I know who you are... I've heard about you.."
Your heart pounded, you knew you had a bad reputation, about your attitude, personality, name, that's why all of them are afraid of you, you and your friends. And you're completely fine with that, but somehow, you were nervous about Baekhyun finding you bad, even if you really are, you don't want him to think of you like that.
"What did you hear about me?" You tried talking straight, to come off as confident in his eyes. But inside, you're wishing that it isn't that bad. You wanted him to like you.
He looked down on his drink, avoiding your eyes, "that... that you were trouble. That I shouldn't be talking to you..."
That's when you felt bad. You didn't know why but you did. Is he going to stop talking to me, now?
Baekhyun looked up, panicking at the sight of you with a frown, he continued, "but... but, don't worry, I don't really believe them. You've been really nice since you helped me with my homework that day at the library... and now, you're doing this..." he blinked, soft eyes boring into yours, "I'm... I'm sorry for upsetting you..." he gulped, pushing up his glasses as he waited for your response.
"I really want to get to know you, Baekhyun. You're... something."
A smirk formed on your lips as he looked down, his cheeks blushing. You swore, he's the cutest thing you've ever seen in your life.
Tumblr media
"I guess, we're done." You said as you removed the tight leather gloves clad on your hands, eyeing the different firearms and explosive in front of you.
You had to inspect these to make sure nothing's wrong before delivering it to your clients, with the help of your father's men. Though, they're not really needed because you have Junmyeon and Joy with you. The rest are enjoying their pingpong and arcade games.
"Why are you such in a hurry again?" Joy knitted her brows at you, smirking.
Junmyeon snorted, "oh, you know. Her cute nerd's waiting for her."
You shook your head, a smile playing on your lips, "I should go."
You drove as fast as you can, you cannot be bothered by the sound of horns, the shout of people around you, clearly complaining about you giving no fucks about rules, because you practically own this place. You didn't want him to wait for you any longer too, your cute boy doesn't deserve that.
You halted in front of the gate of your school, you saw him there. He stood with his hands holding the strap of his backpack, his eyes set on his foot playing on the floor. You honked the horn of your car, opening the window of the passengers seat to catch his attention.
He lifted his head, locking his eyes with yours. A smile slowly grew on his face, excitedly opening the door and sat beside you. You watched him fasten his seatbelt. Once he's done, he turned his head to you, chirping "hi, Raven!"
"Raven?" You asked as you raised a brow at him, finding the name he called you amusing.
"It's because of your hair..." he looked down on his fidgeting fingers, "I thought of the name because your hair is really... really pretty..." he raised his head, his soft eyes worried as it looked at yours, "don't you like it? I'm sorry-"
"No. No, don't worry. I like it."
You felt warmness fill your system as his face brightened up, finding his eye smile enchanting. He's like... the sun. He reminds you so much of flowers and the sun. How cheesy is that?
"So, what do you have in mind for today?"
He tilted his head, "I saw this movie trailer earlier! I think we should watch it!"
"So, movies." You hummed, "okay."
You drove off with your usual speed, you didn't really pay attention to anything until you heard him calling out your name. You turned your head to look at him for a moment, you hummed and waited for him to say what he wanted to say, "c.. can you slow down a little..." his scared tone made you smirk, "please..."
You decided to tease, speeding up a little more, you heard him yelp. You chuckled, "okay, okay. Calm down, pup."
Once you arrived at the cinemas, you were suprised by the fact that he held your hands and dragged you the ticketing booth. No one has ever dared to hold your hands. Damn, not even Junmyeon. Because you never let them, but here you are, willingly letting him intertwine his hand with yours.
What was happening to you?
You squinted your eyes at the sight of the movie poster he bought two tickets for. It's a colorful one, with the male and female lead stars, you assumed. So this is going to be romantic? You inwardly groaned. This will be painful, you thought.
You sat there with Baekhyun as you waited for your turn to watch. It is supposed to be over because people started coming out of the door, you heard him clap his hands, making you turn to him, "I'm so excited." He told you, his eyes shining as he held his hands together. You smiled, maybe you can get through this.
You can't.
This movie is so fucking cringey. You wanted to leave and slam the door as you do so. You bit your lower lip as the stars did some lovey-dovey shit you couldn't even look at. You decided to turn to Baekhyun instead since he's got such a lovely face, you wouldn't mind staring for the whole day.
Your half-lidded dark eyes glistened as it stared at the sight of him focused on that stupid movie, it felt like butterflies and sparkles are flying around him as he grinned beautifully. You got lost at the sight, how can a man be this beautiful? You tilted your head to see more of him, his facial features are so soft, you thought. His eyes, his lips, his cheeks, oh don't you just want to kiss him and ruin him all over?
You smirked, "soon."
"Did you enjoy the movie?"
You hummed, offering Baekhyun a smile, "nope, the movie, not at all. I quite enjoyed some other things."
He giggled, "I knew you wouldn't..." he cleared his throat, "thank you for sticking with me, Raven." He said as he looked down the floor.
You hummed and patted his head, messing up his hair a little bit as you do so, "but we're going to watch another, though."
You were smirking at the sight of the serial killer doing what serial killers often do, you chuckled at the sound of people around you giving off sudden gasps and little surprised yells as they watched.
You turned your head to look at what Baekhyun's been doing, your eyes softened at the sight of him looking so frightened, slightly covering his face with the box of. popcorn he's holding. When he felt your eyes on him, he swiftly turned and looked at you, his puppy-like eyes glistening with light tears, his soft lips in a pout-like frown. You cooed, lifting up the barrier between the both of you and opened your arms widely, inviting him in. He immediately shifted, placing the popcorn aside and hurriedly leaned against you, his beautiful hands clutching the shirt you're wearing. You wrapped your arms around him, rubbing his back to comfort him as he burried his head onto your neck, slightly tilting his head so he could still watch the movie.
You sighed deeply, taking in his scent you've grown to crave, when did you become this soft?
You've been spending more time with him, lately. You didn't know why but there's something about him that pulls you. He's different from what you're used to. He makes you feel peace, calmness whenever he's around. There's nothing special, really, when others look at it. But for you, everything about him is special. Every simple action he does just gets you, whenever his glasses fall lowly on his cute button nose, maybe the way he runs his hand through his hair, not caring about how it would look but lies perfectly on his forehead anyway, or maybe you liked the way he focuses on something, his love for stars and flowers, his love for reading books, his love for the Avengers.
You just met him for a couple of weeks, but everything about him makes you want more. You knew you yearned for him even if you shouldn't be. He's too pure and innocent for you. Do you care? You would say yes because surprisingly, you care so much for him. But, apparently you knew you were nothing like him, you're out of his league. You knew you're too dangerous to be associated with an angel but the want you're feeling for him gets the best of you.
"What's your favorite flower?"
"Sunflower!"
You rolled your eyes, "of course, you like sunflowers," as if you're not the sun and a flower, you thought as you lit up a cigarette.
You lightly squint your eyes because of the smoke as you took in a puff, you noticed him eyeing you with his pretty eyes. You tilted your head, heart hammering inside your chest, what if he doesn't like someone who smokes?
"What is it?"
He shook his head, as if he was getting off a trance, "nothing..." his head dropped down to his fidgeting fingers, "you just looked... good... when you did that."
You raised your eyebrow, head dancing in amusement by the sight of his soft cheeks covered with light red, making him look even beautiful in your eyes, "are you calling me hot?"
He abruptedly raised his head, cheeks noticeably got even redder, his eyes widened, "I... it's not.." he eventually gave up, pouting as he nodded his head.
You smirked, dark eyes boring into his soft innocent ones, "oh, am I now, my sweet little flower?" You took a step closer, his face inches away from yours. You stared at him and took all his features in, your eyes dropping from his eyes to his soft plump pink lips. You lifted your hand, placing it onto the back of his head and played the ends of his hair, fingers sliding into his nape. You felt lightheaded by his reaction alone, his lips quivering, giving off light pants, you smiled.
You were about to close the distance when you heard your phone ringing. Annoyed, you pulled away from him, puffing on your cigar one time before throwing it away, you answered the call, "what?" You snapped, impatience clear in your tone.
"Boss, we have a problem."
Tumblr media
"What do you mean you don't know?" You yelled, hands slamming against the table, "we checked! Are you doubting my work?"
Your fucking clients are claiming that the weapons and explosives you sent are defective, asking for their money back. You snorted, as if you're going to do that. The worst part is they have beaten up three of your men and are trying to taint your name in the black market. Few of your other important clients called asking about the issue, Junmyeon have talked to them already and reassured them whilst you are nothing but pissed. If this reached your father and your godparents, you're going to lose it.
"Calm down." Junmyeon massaged your shoulders as he was behind you, kissing your temple.
You rolled your eyes, deciding to listen to him.
"So, what are we going to do?" Chanyeol asked as he folded his arms against his chest.
You picked up your favorite knife, it was the sharpest yet the smallest you have ever owned, flipping and circling it in your hand, "shall we pay them a visit?"
"Mr. Jung." You said, eyeing him as he was sitting by a table with your four former clients, not surprisingly the ones who complained with him. A smile appeared on your red tinted lips. You walked forward, your hand ran through your hair, glimpsing your friends behind your back. You watched Junmyeon walking towards you, he wrapped his arm around your shoulder, "can we have a word with you?"
"Y... you..."
They looked pathetically scared, though, their men started appearing behind them as they stood up. You smirked, "we were here to talk." You tilted your head in amusement, "But I guess you want it the hard way."
"Bring that five motherfuckers in our base, dad's there." You said, clutching the wound you gained, the other hand wiping off the blood on your face.
Of course, you won. They had more people with them but with you and your gang together, they wouldn't stand a chance. All of you trained your whole life for situations like this, it isn't so shocking that you took down 60 more men with only you and 12 of your friends: Junmyeon, Ria, Joy, Minseok, Chanyeol, Yerin, Yixing, Jongin, Yeri, Ash, Hope, and Luck. Though, it didn't go that well because those men started using weapons against you, your own weapons, for fuck's sake, those were the one that got you bleeding right now, "defective, huh?" You chuckled, earning Junmyeon's slap against your back.
"You're all bloody and shit and you're still laughing."
You eyed him, he looked wrecked as well, blood running down his head, lips busted. You laughed even harder, making him laugh with you, "dumbass."
You puffed on your cigar, watching your father talk to the five men you've captured. Five gunshots were heard, it ended with the five of them lying flush against the floor, bathing in their own bloods.
The blood flowed up until your shoes, you smirked darkly, walking up to your father, "Dad."
He turned to you, a smile appearing on his face, "my favorite daughter."
You chuckled, "I'm your only daughter."
He lifted his hands, bringing them up your head, "don't you want to get treated?" Pointing towards your family's personal doctors, treating your injured friends.
You shook your head, "I'm fine. I'll just visit someone."
You knocked on his door, patiently waiting. You looked around, fortunately, there was no one here. It'll be very inconvinient to walk around with dried blood all over you. The door opened, catching your attention, revealing your adorable Baekhyun. His eyes widened in shock, he eyed you with concern, mouth silently opened as he pulled you inside his room.
"Ooh, easy there, angel."
He made you sit down, quickly pacing around the room, looking for something. Your dark gaze following him as he did so. You stared at his ass looking so plump and cute inside his sweatpants, you smirked, eye glinting in interest.
He sat down in front of you, holding a box you assumed a first-aid kit. You looked at him in amusement as he did his best in cleaning your wounds. His soft eyes glistened with light tears as he inspected your form, his lips in a frown.
"Baek..." you whispered, trying to gain his attention. He lifted his head, his brows furrowed as his eyes met yours.
"Does it hurt?" He asked, his voice sounding so sensitive and fragile as he caressed your broken skin.
"I'm fine, baby boy. Don't get so worried." You lowly laughed, lifting your hand to wipe off the tear that escaped his eye. He was shaking as his lips formed into a pout, holding your hand that held his face.
You leaned in, you nose brushing his, "Raven..." he breathed, you closed your eyes as his scent filled your system, feeling dizzy. You opened your eyes once more, catching his eyes glimpsing your lips in a daze. You chuckled, placing your lips on his.
You felt like you were going crazy when you heard him moan, catching his lower lip between yours, lightly biting on it. Your other hand grazed his jaw, you felt him clutch your shirt, pulling you closer you thought it was impossible.
You pulled him, using your strength to make him sit on your lap. Your tongue licked his lips until he opened them for you to ravage. Your hand slid into his shirt, caressing his sides. You felt him pull your hair, moaning against your mouth as he eagerly, desperately grinded on you.
You pulled away for air, chuckling at the sight of his face all red, he bit his lip as he leaned against you, wrapping his arms around your neck. He burried his head into your hair, licking and sucking your neck, continuously grinding his noticeable hard-on onto your clothed heat. You heard him mewl against your neck, biting your exposed shoulder to shut himself up. You tilted your head to kiss his temple, reaching out to his body, "come on, baby. Make yourself cum like this." You whispered against his ear, sucking and biting his earlobe.
He listened and grinded down even harder, cirling his hips, moaning wantonly against your hair, mewling your name desperately, "please, please..." he slid his hand inside your shirt, touching you in need, he groped your breasts. He burried his head into your mounds, licking and sucking your nipples making you groan.
His moans got even louder, his movement got even rougher, almost like a wild animal. He threw his head back, screaming your name as he came inside his sweats. You felt the wetness against your skin, making you laugh. He slumped his body against yours, panting.
You rubbed his back, calming him. After a while, you lightly pushed him off you, making him face you. You smiled at his flushed appearance, his face glowing as he smiled shyly at you. You pushed his hair back, away from his forehead, wiping off his sweat, "didn't know you were a wild one."
He whined, pout appearing on his lips. You chuckled, placing a tender kiss on his forehead.

A LunaTic and her Gunn (Part 43)
"Brunch W. Friends"
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
@lovemythsworld
@creatureofthen1ght-v3
Brushing her teeth, Luna begins to spaz. "LISTEN." She says turning to Colson, who's doing the same in the other sink. "This isn't Pete's coming out party. This is you meeting all of my friends with Kate as a buffer." She says after spitting. She continues brushing her teeth aggressively. "As stupid and fucked up as that sounds." She spits again. Rinsing her mouth.
"What do you mean?" Colson asks her with a side eye.
"I don't fucking know.... Have you met any of them?" She asks.
"I don't know who any of them are." He tells her, finishing up in his sink.
"Exactly." She sighs. Explaining more as they get dressed.
--------------------------------------------------
Dressed in a short, white lace dress, with over the knee boots and her leather, Luna grabs Colson's hand as they approach PS 450. She looks up at him with loving, hopeful eyes before sighing "Here we go.."
Pete's the first to see them, standing up. "Buddddiesss!!" He calls out. Both of them instantly feeling more secure with his welcome. Luna and Colson are the last to arrive, everyone standing to greet them warmly as Luna introduces Colson. Along with Pete and Kate, are James and Mack, Mel, Izak and a stand-offish Tim. He's Justin's bestfriend.
Luna orders a Bloody off that bat. It's attached to a little cheeseburger, the server informs her to her delight. The table laughs, knowing of her love of beef and cheese. She's quick to request her drink before her treat.
James starts chatting up Colson as Luna talks to Pete and Kate. She's funny and quick. Two qualities Luna greatly appreciates. They're sweet together, she decides.
Food, mimosas, bloodies and laughter are flowing. Colson eases right in with Mack and Izak over comic book debates. He slides his arm around Luna as she kisses him on the cheek.
"So, THIS is your fucking THING now." Tim speaks for almost the first time during the meal. He's spitting his words directly at Luna.
"TIM!!" Melanie hisses.
"What?" He cocks back "She sold their fucking apartment, dipped for fucking LaLa Land, went Fucking mainstream, is on Page fucking Six, then pops in with some Duuude for BRUNCH and we're not supposed to say shit!?! He pushes back from the table angrily.
Luna's speechless. Tears welling in her eyes. Trying to stop her chest from exploding.
Mackenzie props her elbows on the table, loudly. Looking directly at Tim. "If THIS was 2yrs ago, you MIGHT have had a point. But it's not." Staring daggers into Tim "BECAUSE it's been almost THREE years since OUR friend CHOOSE to leave. Luna didn't fucking take him, but Lord knows she's been gone like he FUCKING TOOK HER WITH HIM." Mackenzie explodes, pounding her fist on the table. Their party is quiet. James puts his arm around her to comfort her. She shakes him off. "We almost lost them BOTH and you're mad because SHE'S living!" Mack shoves her chair away from the table hard. Stomping out of the resturant.
James goes to follow her but Luna grabs his hand. She gives him a reassuring nod, shoots Tim a Look and kisses Colson before going to find her friend.
"WHAT THE FUCK, DUDE?" She hears Pete say behind her.
--------------------------------------------------
Lighting a Newport, Luna says to Mackenzie "You know the only good thing about the South and MidWest... You can still fucking smoke inside." Mack laughs as she puffs on her Camel. "Thank you." Luna says lightly.
"Fuck him." Mack explodes again. "What the fuck does he want you to do? Play Old Maid? FUCK. It'll be 3 fucking years."
Luna's silent.
"I'm sorry." Mack reaches for Luna as she sees the tears drop.
Buried in Mackenzie shoulder she cries how 3 years feels like nothing, yet a whole lifetime. How she loves Colson but hates herself sometimes for it.
"Stop." Mackenzie says firmly, pulling Luna out of her. "You're not doing ANYTHING wrong. FUCK. I'm glad you went to Ash's. You NEEDED to sell that apartment, Loons. You couldn't even sleep in your own fucking bed. I've never said this before, but I'm fucking pissed at him. I get he had his demons, but he did NOT need to leave them the fuck with you. Especially in your bedroom."
Luna buries her face back into Mackenzie's shoulder, crying harder. Finally catching herself, she pulls back. Taking a drag off of her Newport to steady herself still. "How fucked up do I look?" She asks with a light hearted laugh.
"Not bad enough for me to not hate your fucking gorgeous ass, Bitch." They both laugh as Mack wipes her cheeks. Luna is loyal to waterproof mascara. They hug, finishing their cigarettes and sparking another because you can't Fucking smoke inside.
--------------------------------------------------
Once Luna is out of ear shot of the table, and Pete said his peace, Colson looks at Tim. "Yo. You got a fucking problem?" He asks him directly. Tim mutters something as Pete looks worried. "Nah Dawg, speak the fuck up." Colson glances at Pete and James. "I ain't here to start no shit, Homie, but if you got a problem with me and Luna. Speak on that shit." He props his elbows on the table, resting his chin on his fists.
"Fuck youuuuuuu, DUDE. You think you can just waltz in here. Be with her and replace him? FUCK THAT." Tim shoves back further from the table in disgust.
"I ain't trying to replace nobody, Dawg. Luna loves him and always will. I know that. I'm just lucky enough for her to be able to love me too." Colson shrugs "Real recognize Real. And if you were truly her friend, you'd know that." He finishes before sipping his Irish coffee, leaving the table silent.
--------------------------------------------------
"I JUST WANNA SPREAD MY CANCER THROUGH OUT THE WORLD!!!" Luna shouts, re-entering PS, giggling with Mackenzie about her nicotine addiction. Their table is quiet. "Oh... You fucking Assholes." She laughs, climbing into Colson's lap. The Bloodies have caught up and she's early day drunk. Looking directly at Tim, she says unflinching "Get over it." with a shrug. She then turns to Pete asking "WHAT do I gotta do to get Nightmare on SNL?"
"ACTUALLY...." He begins.
Just as Luna hears Tim mumble "Fucking sell out."
Standing up to have reach. Luna shoots out one cool, forceful palm to his forehead knocks him back out of his chair. She slides away Colson, to walk around and help him up.
"Ya fucking done?" She asks sternly to his retreat.
Brunch doesn't last much longer. Everyone is irritated and ready to go. The bill is paid. Hugs and kisses are exchanged. Nothing but a single look between Luna and Tim.
--------------------------------------------------
"Dude's cool." James decides on Colson after his statement about Luna and Justin. "That's big. Some shit I can respect." He's content on his friend's choice.
"Fucking TIM." Mack is still annoyed. "He's such a fucking Asshole. If she wants this, she should fucking have it." She thinks to her self, on full defense of Luna
"I don't know what they expected. Of course he's gonna be salty." Izak thinks to himself of him, Justin, Tim and Luna. Knowing all 3 of them before anyone. "I hope she's fucking happy at least....." He trails off thinking of their friendship over the years.
"He's such a cocksmoker." Mel thinks to herself annoyed at Tim's behavior during Brunch. "Couldn't even hold it together for one fucking meal."
"Fuck her. Fuck him. Fuck THEM." Tim thinks dropping onto his bed. "He should fucking be here." He angrily curls himself into a ball.
"HOLY FUCK!!!! It was not supposed to go like that! I knew Tim was gonna be an ass but he's lucky Loons only bopped him and Kells didn't lay him the fuck out." Pete thinks looking out the cab window as he reaches for Kate's hand.
--------------------------------------------------
Luna shot Pete a text before boarding apologizing for ruining brunch. She also hit James, Mack, Izak and Mel. Fuck Tim. For now. She'll deal with him. She eventually receives no worries texts from all.
Turning to Colson in her seat, she kisses him on the neck "I'm sorry." She purrs into his ear.
Looking at her with a wicked eye, he responds with "Show me."
Accepting his dare, Luna slips out of her seat walking towards the bathroom. A few moments later Colson follows her.
--------------------------------------------------
She's sitting on the airplane sink when he enters the bathroom. Still in the short white dress, both day drunk, he's been waiting to fuck her all day. He pulls her willing body into him by her neck. She slides into him easily, wrapping her legs around him. They kiss passionately as his hands roam her body. Pushing him off of her, she hops down. Bending over the sink, brushing her ass against him as she pulls her black thong down.
With his dick throbbing for her ass in the air, he pulls her close. Carefully sliding himself in her to keep her quiet. Her pussy is tight and warm around his cock. He can't help but pump into her hard and quick. He's horny, drunk and been staring at her ass in that dress all day. As a moan escapes from her mouth, he clamps his hand on it to quiet her. This only excites her more. Eyes meeting in the mirror, she bucks against him hard. Biting his hand, they fuck each other fast and hard. Giggling as they try to be quiet as they cum together.
-------------------------------------------------
She had slipped outta the bathroom first. Him following behind her shortly after. Back in their seats, she looks at him. "Mile High Club." She grins as he high fives her laughing. Kissing each other, they settle into their seats, holding hands.
"No wonder everyone wants to fuck her. She's fucking amazing." His mind slides over their weeks together. Dick growing hard again. His mind drifts back to Brunch "I know Justin was his bestfriend but that dude was a fucking douche though...."
*********************************************
"UGGHHH. Today was so fucking embarrassing. I swear. I. Hate. Fucking. Dudes...... Except Bunny. Although he can be a fucking Dick" She smiles nuzzling into him. "A Big Dick." She thinks, touching the tiny padlock around her neck.

Loosen up. (Bodyguard!Klaus Goldstein x Reader)
Tumblr media
Requested: 66. "I like you. You're different." + 73. "You couldn't handle me even if I came with instructions." From the promt list.
Genre: Fluff/idk if this also counts as suggestive? Only if you're very innocent I guess? And if you're on tumblr then you probably aren't so nvm 😂
A/N: sorry for being so inactive lately I've been busy with studying and such so I generally couldn't find it in me to write so yeah :/ (I have a trial tomorrow so like idk pray for me 😂) but here I am! ヽ(゜~゜o)ノ Also yes I'm aware this isn't how Vincent acts and he's not filthy rich but for now we're gonna let it slide okay? Cool. 😂
(Second Person Point of View)
"That's when I decided it was time to buy my fifth car; I mean who attends their first day of college with the same old cars, right?" The man laughs. You suspected that if he stopped boasting for longer than 2 seconds, he'd suffocate and die. You kind of hoped to witness that.
It'd been 2 hours already, yet you weren't allowed to leave the party until your dad says you could. You'd even tried to convince your bodyguard to let you leave without your father knowing anything of the incident, but Klaus was far too strict and responsible; he'd never do such a reckless thing.
Yeah, sure, it's good for your dad to have found such a trustworthy employee, but when you've been stuck talking to these blatantly boring and arrogant people that only viewed you as a good deal to obtain more wealth, well, let's just say: it makes you sort of wish Klaus cared less.
However, that was not the case. In fact, while all bodyguards waited outside, Klaus remained inside -only a few feet away from you at any given time. He also seemed to always be giving you a look that could only be describe as the look a mother gives when you have people over, and she's daring you to mess anything up.
Now, you weren't the stereotypical bratty child that refuses to take over their parents' company. You knew your responsibility and always hoped to make them proud; you just weren't a big fan of the world surrounding all the important people in business. Therefore, it made you yearn for messing around from time to time.
Today was one of those days. You so desperately hoped Klaus would get off your back for even just a few moments, so you could escape the exhausting setting. But he continued with the angry-mother-glare; it almost seemed like he'd gotten the expression tattooed on his face after the endless times he had to get you out of trouble.
There was definitely a bright side to that extra attention, though. You suspected Klaus had a thing for you. After all, he was known to be very good at his job; he could easily quit and get a job less demanding with an equal pay or even a bigger pay if he wanted, but he didn't. He decides to stay with a teenage girl that enjoys pushing his buttons. He was professional, so he wouldn't say anything or let it show, but you had this feeling in your guts that he at least felt intrigued by you.
And, surely, you were ready to use this to your advantage.
You glance towards the blond at the corner of the room, ensuring he was still staring (threateningly, but still staring nevertheless). His eyebrow arches slightly, sensing you were about to do something dumb. You could almost hear him think God, what is it this time?!
You focus your attention back on the man whose name you'd forgotten about 2 seconds after he introduced himself.
"So, I heard you're staying at the hotel here for the entire duration of the event." You smile sweetly.
"Yeah, I am." He takes a sip out of his drink.
You begin flirtatiously twirling a strand of your hair. "Well, how about you take me to have a look upstairs?"
Startled by the unexpected implications of your request, he chokes on his drink and starts coughing. You try your best not to appear disgusted, giving him a smile when he's done with his coughing session.
Sure enough, he agrees and links your arms together, leading you towards the exit of the section the party was held in.
"Miss (Y/N)," Klaus speaks through gritted teeth. He wore a smile and kept his voice quiet, but there was no denying he was ready to scold you. "Where do you think you're going?"
"Upstairs." You smile, playing dumb.
"What do you mean up-" after losing his calm for a second, Klaus cuts himself off to take a deep breath and let it out before proceeding. "Would you please excuse us, Mr. Knight?" Klaus bows lightly before dragging you to an empty corner.
"You think just because you're leaving with a guest, I'll allow you to go?" Klaus whispers in annoyance.
"What? Are you jealous?" You wiggle an eyebrow at him, knowing well enough that wasn't the reason (well, not the main one, at least).
Lips pulled into a pained smile, Klaus glares. "Are you asking for an insult? I think you're abusing that service I provide for you a hundred times per minute."
"Come on, Klausie; loosen up." You poke his chest with your index finger. You knew the redhead -or Mr. Knight- was probably still waiting for you, but you couldn't care less. You wanted to stretch out the process of bugging Klaus as long as possible, since it was the only way to spend time with him. It was also fun watching his nose scrunch and his eyebrows furrow in such anger. He would try to mask his frustration, but it was obvious he had a short temper when it came to you. To put it nicely, he was done with your shit.
"Don't, under any circumstances, call me Klausie." He threatens. "And I don't need to loosen up; you need to stop being so careless!"
"Sure." Rolling your eyes, you step away from him.
Before you could take two full steps, Klaus had already grabbed your arm. "Going somewhere?"
You pull your hand away. "The bathroom. Am I not allowed to answer the call of nature either?" You raise an eyebrow questioningly.
"Touché." He raises his hands in defeat, but once you begin walking away, he follows.
"Where are you going?"
"Just ensuring you don't get any funny ideas." He shrugs.
Huffing, you decide to ignore him. Thankfully, he was only planning to stand near the door; it didn't seem too strange imagining Klaus walking in for "safety measures": the guy was crazy when it came to his job.
"Man, another pretty dress gone to waste." You sigh, looking into the mirror. The sparkling violet fabric clung onto your body till your waist then flowed freely, reaching to merely graze the floor. It was one of the dresses you really liked; you loved the way it showed your shoulder blades and only a portion of your back; it was sexy yet classy. The glittery purple was certainly your colour too! Alas, your dad would scold you for rewearing a dress more than he would scold you if you were to kill a person (as long as you've hidden the evidence well, that is). Murder can be covered up, but 'horrible fashion choices' cannot be hidden, according to your father. Sometimes you went against that, but most of the time, you just complied, even though it's an absolute waste of money.
"You're taking too long, you know that?" Klaus calls from outside, impatience clear in his voice.
You bite back a response when you realize there's something much better you could do. Quietly checking the stalls, you ensure you're 100% alone inside.
"Could there be a valid reason you're not responding to me?!"
Ignoring his question, you just scream in response. "Klaus! Klaus, help me!" You screech frantically.
The door bursts open, and Klaus steps inside aggressively. Before he could realize what's happening, you push him back against the door, slamming it behind him.
Smug about catching him off guard, you smirk at the taller male, whose body was closely pressed against yours. "Were you worried?" You tease.
"About losing my job? Yeah." He scoffs, turning his head away from you but not bothering to push you away.
"Why is it always about the job?" You tilt your head to meet his eyes again.
"Because I'm at work?" He states with a raised eyebrow, as if it sounded stupid for you to even ask that.
You run your hands gently over his chest; even through layers of clothing, you could still feel the firm muscles concealed by the black suit. "Well, maybe it's time for a break." You grin innocently.
"You do know you can't fool me, right?" He takes one of your hands away from him but doesn't let go of it.
Rolling your eyes, you move away from him. "I'm not fooling you; I want us to have fun! Neither one of us is enjoying this anyway." You cross your arms.
An unexpected response sparks excitement within you. "Well, what do you suggest we do?" You knew he was only being sarcastic, but it gave you a pathway for more methods to push his buttons and witness his reactions.
Closing the distance between both of you once more, you stand on the tip of your toes as you wrap your arms around the back of his neck. "Oh, I have a lot of suggestions." You whisper in his ear, feeling him flinch lightly at your suggestive remark. You could tell he was trying to hide it and pretend he wasn't phased, but you'd already noticed it, and he knew it.
"You're gonna get me fired." Cheeks slightly red, he turns his head away and gently parts your bodies from each other. "God, why is it so hard to handle you? It's like dealing with a troublemaking child."
"You couldn't handle me even if I came with instructions." You stick your tongue out at him. "Plus, father won't know anything if neither one of us told him." You point out what seemed to have escaped Klaus's perception of the situation.
"You want me to lie to your father." He laughs in disbelief.
"Mmhm, not quite. More like not telling him the full truth."
"That's exactly what lying is."
"No, it's not."
"Yes, it is."
"No."
"Yes."
"Okay, stop! Fine, lie! I don't know!" You fling your arms in the air out of frustration. A novel sound catches your attention, immediately flushing away the frustration. Klaus was laughing. Not sarcastically. No, a genuine laugh was echoing across the bathroom.
"I suppose it wouldn't be the worst thing if we talk a walk for some fresh air and come back." He smiles. "Just this time though!"
An uncontrollable grin spreads across your face, and you immediately throw your arms around Klaus. "Thank you!"
"You gotta stop..doing..this.." He awkwardly pats your back, careful not to touch your bare skin.
"No promises!" You shrug, before grabbing his hand and rushing outside, making your way to the exit.
"Miss (Y/N)?" You freeze in your spot. "Where are you going?"
"Oh, um.." you stutter, not expecting to have to explain yourself to your companion from earlier.
"We got an emergency call; we'll be right back." Klaus, in his usual composed state, 'explains' to Mr. Knight.
"Ah, I see." Red head may be an idiot, but he wasn't stupid. He could tell something wasn't right, but he either chose to let it slide or he just didn't care. Regardless, you were thankful. "I'll be waiting for your return then." With a smile and a bow, he left and disappeared into the crowd.
"You'll catch a cold." Klaus states, watching you twirl and run around in the chilly October weather.
You weren't cold, or maybe you didn't dislike being cold. It wasn't the type of cold to make you unable to take a few proper steps and force you to do an awkward penguin walk; rather, it was the type of cold to merely caress your skin, decorating it with goosebumps. "Don't worry; I'm alright."
"Just take my jacket. Your back and shoulders are exposed; you must be cold." He spoke with such certainty that it almost made you rethink for a few moments about whether you actually felt cold or not.
"Are you worried or are you just intimidated by how sexy I look?" You strike a pose far from seducing.
Klaus, who had his jacket held out for you, resumed walking as he put his jacket back on. "You know, on second thought, it might be a good thing if you catch a cold and stay at home for a week or so." He passes by you, leaving you and your sexy pose alone.
"Hey! That was mean!" You catch up to him.
"Nothing new, then." He shrugs, a slight smirk forcing itself onto his pink lips.
You speed up a little then turn around to face him once you're slightly ahead of him; you remain walking, but backwards this time, allowing yourself to look at him during the conversation. "How could you be mean to such a beautiful lady?" You pout.
"What beautiful lady?" He looks around, pretending to search for something.
You let out a dramatic gasp. "How could y-" Your sentence was inconveniently cut off by your stumble; or perhaps, it was a slightly convenient situation when you think about it from a different perspective: Klaus, as sharp as usual, was able to grasp your arm, preventing you from falling.
"Uh, thanks." You breathe out, nodding slightly. Once you begin to straighten yourself up, Klaus lets go of your arm, only to watch you fall to the ground immediately after. "I think my heel broke.." you frown, staring at your left shoe, now with its heel lying a few inches away.
"You think?" Klaus earns a glare, urging him to put aside the sarcasm and help you up.
"Those were such a cute pair.." you sigh, placing your arm around Klaus's shoulder for support. Your arms were already hurting due to the height difference; it was like hanging from a cliff but not quite.
Klaus places an arm around your waist. "Well, I can buy you another one. You need another pair to get back to the party anyway."
"What if I don't?"
"Don't what? Get back to the party? That's not what we agreed on! Your father-"
You cut off his rant, "We'll get back there, and I'll call dad and inform him that my heel broke; he'd immediately allow me to leave. It's already late anyway."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes."
######
"Yes, Klaus, I'm sure he'd let me go home if I tell him my heel broke! Of course, Klaus, there's no way he would have some other plans for me!" Your bodyguard mimicks your voice and tone (terribly), as you sit in the back of the car your dad sent with a brand new pair of shoes.
"How would I have known he would do this?!" You complain, tightening the straps of the new shoes around your ankle.
"Well, hurry up, knight dude is probably waiting for you." Arms crossed, he taps his foot impatiently. You merely groan in response.
"I can't believe he didn't even tell me he booked a room for me at the hotel! And that I have to attend the same event tomorrow too! I didn't even bring any change!"
"Um, Miss (Y/N), your father asked me to hand you this too.." the driver quietly places a small suitcase on the back seat next to you.
"There you go; he packed stuff for you." You weren't sure if Klaus was trying to tease you or comfort you, but either way, you just let out a sigh.
After a long, mentally and physically exhausting night, you were finally allowed to leave. And boy, were you delighted to recieve the news.
"This one." You pause in front of the room that had the same number on the keycard. Klaus had already placed your bag inside earlier, but it was your first time viewing the room. "At least the room is pretty." You shrug.
"Didn't think you'd admit it." Klaus chuckles. "Well, I have to go; so, good night, Miss (Y/N); I'll be back here tomorrow." He bows.
"Wait!" You stop him before he steps outside the room.
As I have reached the 100 block limit, I'll complete this in Part 2...which I'll literally post now and it'll be shorter than this cuz it's just the ending 😂

Not Our Home
Chapter 7
Tumblr media
An shrill blasted penetrated the silence, startling me back to my reality. It had been the fifth one since the doors had closed. I was disoriented, looking around my surroundings. The metal shined brightly as the sunlight poured in the window.
I stumbled over and peered out, the grass swayed in the light breeze. In the distance I saw tall columns, dabbed in various shades of green. Trees, I had seen them in pictures and movies. It was marvel to behold, beauty that I had no words the describe.
I felt my stomach tighten and rumble, I knew what laid a head of me. Part of me wondered since there was little to no radiation how they managed to kill those sentenced to death. Bullets were scarce, and hard to make since the dropping of the bombs.
Other methods that they had used previously to kill those on the death row were no longer available. I had a week to figured out how to escape, or if I even could escape. All while becoming dehydrated and starving, with little to no sleep.
"Sir, the prisoner is awake." The guard informed him. It was time to figure out how this girls little friend was getting in the building, disrupting the flow of things.
The metallic door slid open with a large bang, baldy stepped in waving his lakies away. The door slid closed with another large clang. He walked in towards me as I sat on the metal cot, his eyes concentrated on the window.
"It's amazing, never ceases to surprise me. It only took a couple of years for the trees to come back." His voice was cold, almost disgusted. "We almost had the perfect utopia. Everyone in their appropriate social classes, not mettling. Then you came along."
He finally turned his head toward me, his eyes narrowed. I stayed silent, I didn't know what he was planning but I didn't want to be a part of it. He looked down at me and folded his arms.
"You know, we only took the brightest of lower middle class. Before the bombs dropped, thinking maybe, just maybe it would make all of you smarter in the long run. Remind you guys if it hadn't been for our generosity to your grandparents you wouldn't exists. However, I felt obligated to personally take your dad in." I heard the disgust in his voice, it dawned on me. This man was easily a hundred and fifty. Which meant he was one those genetically modified.
"That's right, little girl, I'm like your little friend out there. The only difference is, I was able to live out my life in luxury. You see I was promised an amazing life if I didn't disarm the nuclear warhead in the bomb. I'm sure had your little friend not been so focused on her he would've noticed." He gloated. "Things ran smoothly for the most part around here, everyone happy in their classes, content. Till you started dabbling in the underground."
"Me?" I was genuinely confused by this.
"Yes, you. Bringing your books and movies top side had a long impact on our society. People talk, and whisper through the community. Telling stories of things you'd bring back to your friends. We let it slide, as at that point it hadn't caused to much trouble. People were still complacent in their dull little lives, that was till Reaper showed up."
"Reaper showing up had nothing to with me."
"Your right, and wrong. Had you not been curious that night and walked the tubes he would never had seen you. He would not have been fixated on you, as you look so much like your grandma. He had to come in, and you just had to make contact with him. Then stories swirled about that outside isn't as deadly as people were lead to believe, if people know that life is capable of surviving out there society will crumble again."
"I was right." I whispered, looking towards the ground. My mind began to tail spin.
"It took hours of persuading your friend Elise to rat you out. Ultimately we had to threaten her family but you get the point. She will be taken care of after we are done with you. We will slowly eliminate everyone you have had contact with, so not to draw any attention."
"You have held us hostage, kept us from a better life because the lot of you are to lazy to do your own work? That's what this comes down to?" I sprang up from my cot yelling, my entire body shook with anger. "You think by getting rid of me that will solve your problem? You think that nobody else will question your ideas of utopia? Your wrong, there will be others like me. Word is already spreading, you can't kill the idea once the doubt is put in their minds."
"How cute, you think this is the first time people have wondered if it's safe out there. News flash child, it's not. We will deal with it as we have always done, destroy the non-believers. We are due for a reduction in numbers anyhow, can't have over population happen. It makes people unhappy once the over crowding starts. Can't have that, unhappy workers make bad decisions."
"You’re a monster." I stated in disgust.
"So is your little friend, how do you think he earned the name Reaper." His lip curled as he smiled at me. "This has been a marvelous chat but I have better things to do now."
I watched as he banged on the metal door and left. I felt sick to my stomach, my chest started to heave. The realization of how bad our society really was hit me like a brick. Lives meant nothing to these people, killing people for having thoughts that didn't conform to their beliefs.
A scream startled me from my thoughts. It was deafening, and inhuman. A hallow metallic sound that chilled you to the core. My heart raced, I sprinted to the window and peered out. I watched as a pair of boots walked passed the window struggling to pull something. Another shrill scream pierced my ears louder then before. I clamped my hands over my ears.
Large pale white hands planted into the soil before my eyes, long talon like nails dug into the soil. The skin was almost translucent white, marred by large bloody blisters. It lowered it's massive head to the ground. It's smooth face was void of any eyes, sunken skin covered the sockets in the skull.
The creatures body was heaving with each heavy breath. It opened its mouth, sharp jagged teeth glistened, its eye teeth absurdly long. The abominations tongue slipped out and graced the ground licking the soil, saliva sticking to the ground.
It's body braced back as it took in a deep breath, that shrill, ear piercing hallowed scream exited it. I winced in response to its call. The thing snapped its head in my direction, I was confused as to how it sensed me.
It lunged at me through the glass, hissing. Pressing its flattened nose against the glass, and started clawing erratically. I instinctively took a step back, it lunged again and shrieked. In horror I heard a small crack and watched as a small fissure appear in the glass that separated us.
The boots came back into view, I heard the zap of electricity. It spasmed, and turned to the boots hissing. The thing slowly crept away from the window, growling. Whatever that thing was, whatever it's genetic make up, it was far from what it had originally been. Years of genetic mutation from radiation had taken its toll.
Sasha waited in the tube as night approached, she didn't know who else to turn to. Reaper had found away into the building surely he could find away to rescue her sister. She had no idea where they housed the condemned, but she knew where the blue prints were contained.
She could see a storm rolling in, the first few droplets twinkled in the fading moonlight. A green light flickered through the night sky, thunder rocked through the tube. Sasha stepped closer to the tube wall, pressing her hands to the cool glass.
Lighting graced the blackened sky, she saw him. Reflecting in the glass, an irrational fear ripped through her body as she spun around. Their eyes locked, confusion etched across his worried eyes.
"They have her." She breathed out, his eyes narrowed.
"Where?" His voiced boomed.
"I don't know, I don't know where they house the condemned." His body began to tense up at her words. "I know where the blue prints are, Julianne found them once. She told me where they are."
"Where?"
"They are deep in the underground." Sasha stated turning walking toward the tube door.
"Do you know where at in the underground?" He asked as they paced through the door, he turned toward the elevator as she had turned to take the stairs.
"Yes, but we need to her bag, it has pepper spray. We're outsiders they will attack us." She watched as he pushed the call button.
"Then let them, you won't need the pepper spray. You will be safe." The doors dinged and slowly rolled open.
"Are you sure?" She asked, stepping in the elevator car.
"Yes." He pressed the U button, the car started its rickety descent downward.  Sasha watched him out of the corner of her eye, he was tense. His hands clenched into fists, causing the veins in his forearms to pop out a bit. She adjusted her weight to her foot farthest away from him.
"You don't trust me." His voice flat, her eyes trained on the door.
"I don't know you, or what your intentions are with my sister. All I know is you've killed at least three people since you arrived, and now I'm standing in a small elevator with you, descending into bowls of darkness riddle with crime and filth. My sister is awaiting death and we have absolutely no plan on how to rescue her and you're worried that I don't trust you?" She scoffed. "Trust is the last thing I'm worried about."
"Trust is needed in any mission." He replied, looking at her.
"The isn't a mission, and I'm not a soldier." She quipped, he grabbed her shoulder and pulled her gently to face him.
"Without trust, you're going to worry that I will hurt you and not those who intend to do is harm. If I don't trust you, you could be leading me on wild goose chase that could get you or I killed. If we fight with each other the odds of us getting to your sister are slim. Trust is necessary."
"Okay, fine, I trust you." She stated, her eyebrow raised. He let go of her, his chocolate eyes bore into her, her body relaxed. She could almost understand why her sister felt at ease. There was something about him. "Why are you fixated on her?"
"She reminds me someone. Reminds me of a woman who gave everything, and expected nothing in return. I wanted to keep her safe, so she could return her family but I failed." He tore his gaze from her, and watched their reflections in the elevator door.
"Whatever happened, it wasn't your fault. Trust me I learned a long time ago that you can't save everyone." She looked back the door. "My father said he failed us and my mother when they arrested him. I was tasked to take care her after they took him. Julianne would tell our mother amazing stories of adventures he was going on to get her the help she needed. Our mother thought our dad was on journey went she passed."
"Your father didn't fail though."
"It didn't matter, in his eyes he had. That's the thing, you may see yourself as failure but in reality to her, you weren't." The car started to slow as the number hit fourteen. "Just like no matter what happens from this point on, we won't fail. You can't fail if you don't stop trying."

I'm glad I went through the notes because seeing this reblog gives me the chance to ramble a bit about my favorite snake early in the morning, which makes me very happy!
About the first thought: That right there is an Emerald Tree Boa, an absolutely gorgeous snake, and they naturally don't have venom sacks! As boas they are constrictors so there is no chance of getting poisoned. (Getting bit, on the other hand, is a different story. Due to not having venom, ETBs have to make up for that evolutionary disadvantage by having lots of teeth that are each their own individual knife. Getting bit is ALWAYS a risk, and you do NOT want to get bit by one of them.)
About the second thought: I'm glad you said "if I had the resources and no threat, I'd consider adopting one," because what the caption of this post and so many responses fail to leave out is that ETBs are notoriously difficult animals and definitely not for beginners.
ETBs don't require much mentally, as they are happy to spend a majority of the day sleeping, an hour or two trying to climb up things and look for food, and often don't respond well to any attempts to socialize with animals or humans (pretty much all ETB literature says they get very angry easily and attempt to bite others frequently, and many ETB owners I've talked to have told me about how they dread even doing enclosure maintenance because the snake gets nippy).
Physically, however, their environmental needs are a lot. They are native to South American jungles, and therefore need humid and hot conditions in a tall space. My dad and I currently have a 18 x 18 x 12 enclosure with a rock/mesh filtration system at the bottom, various layers of dirt at different levels, lots of live plants, countless cleaner animals (springtails, isopods, a milipede), a small water bowl, a large pool, many removable perches for our ETB to curl up on and climb, a few immovable fake vines for our EBT to curl up on, a large heat-emiting fluorescent light that is set to turn on and off every 12 hours, a heat lamp that is always on, a fan with a system that allows it to turn on and off at different intervals to simulate random jungle breezes and keep the air flowing, and a humidifier. Our snake is only about a year-and-a-half old and only 3 feet long, so this is NOT his forever home. These beasts can get up to 6 feet long if I'm remembering correctly, so rather soon we're going to be setting up an enclosure that takes up a sizeable portion of my room for him to move in to.
Basically: It takes a lot to take care of these guys and you won't get much out of it if you want a cute cuddly animal like the art suggests, and the amount of people in the notes that are like "omg they're so cute I want one!" is a tad bit concerning, but I understand that they mean well and aren't likely to go through the trouble of even finding someone who sells them (we had to get our snake shipped across the state from the nearest person who had ETBs) and then dropping upwards of 700 dollars at the least for one of them, so I'm not too worried. My dad and I prepared for months to create a home suitable for our ETB and had saved up money for a while to get him. We personally got very lucky that our snake is very tame and seems to enjoy being held (at least, he climbs us and isn't headshy and hasn't tried to bite us even once), but that is NOT the universal Emerald Tree Boa experience.
Thank you for letting me ramble I just really like talking about these snakes.
TL;DR: Emerald Tree Boas yawn very cute and look like puppy noodles, but they are NOT an impulse buy and will very likely stab a misinformed handler a billion times with its horrifying knife-mouth.

Hands up if you'd also adopt that little noodle! ✋
