Olive Leaphy's Bachelorette Challenge

Olive Leaphy is the gen 2 heir of my DITFT legacy and I felt like it was so on brand for her to go against all norms of starting a family so a bachelor challenge seems to be perfect! (Spoiler alert: she's not aged up yet, I just took a peek and this is what she will look like)

A little about Olive:

Pronouns are she/they

Traits: self-assured, ambitious, outgoing (a real strong personality, this one)

Olive never enjoyed the rural farm life she was raised in and always yearned for something bigger, something more exciting. She saved every penny she could and by the time she turns 18, she'll set out for the concrete jungle that is San Myshuno. She loves her family, but the city life called her and she's not letting it go to voicemail! She's got a fiery personality and she needs to have her voice heard. She'll need someone who can not only keep up with her hectic lifestyle, but can embrace it and join her!

I prefer maxis match genetics (alpha brows and lashes are ok) but alpha clothes and accessories are ok 👌

This is Artur. Born and raised in StrangerVille. Hates this town passionately. But for some reason, he hasn't left either. He works at a local bar because StrangerVille has only two options for you; work at a bar or join the army. Life is really boring. There's no entertainment. Dating options are limited too; all the best girls are already taken.  Artur's dream is to become a musician. But he's not doing much to make this dream a reality, maybe because he's too lazy. Or maybe because his sister and brother have left home and taking care of their parents is now Artur's problem.

Artur's grandfather found his love through such a challenge. One can hope that such luck is in their DNA.

Meet the contestants of Olive Leaphy's Bachelorette Challenge!

Days 3-10: One-on-one dates

Day 11: Final impressions and winner chosen*

*No one will be eliminated until the very last day, where only one winner will be chosen.

Day 10: One-on-one date with Jake (2/3)

Jake showed off to Olive that he could do all kinds of tricks off the diving rock and Olive, being the ambitious and self-assured sim that she is, decided that she could totally do that too.

She ended up bellyflopping big time (Jake doesn't seem too bothered).

Final Day

Noah wanted to give Olive a romantic gift, so he gave her the snowglobe he found on their date the other day. Olive then gave him the snowglobe that she found as well!

One of Olive's whims was to kiss someone, so it worked out really well when Noah asked her to go make out in the closet 👀

Olive's Final Decision

Olive decided to give the rose to... Noah!

He made a huge impression on her on their date and throughout the rest of the time at the bachelorette house.

How was the date?

Artur: Oh man, it was awesome. I didn't expect her to actually enjoy playing arcade games, but she was more into it than I was! I'm glad though, it's not everyday I meet someone who lets me geek out with my hobbies let alone have fun with me.

Olive: Of course I had a great time! I love doing stuff like this. Makes me feel like a kid all over again.

How do you feel about Olive?

Artur: She's definitely really fun and cool. And she's cute too. I really liked hanging out with her. I hope I have the chance to hang out with her more, romantically or not.

Day 4: One-on-one date with Artur (1/3)

Artur decided to take Olive to the roller rink for their date. They played a few games on the machines and afterwards, Artur bought her a simmi capsule. Olive really loved the gift!

They rollerskated around for awhile, but neither of them were very good at it.

Day 8: One-on-one date with Noah (2/3)

Someone started busking so Olive and Noah went to go watch. As they were listening to the busker, Noah explained to Olive why he brought her there.

"It's cool and all to be famous, but this is where my passion for music started. If gaining fame comes with losing my passion or forgetting my roots, I'd rather stay unknown.

When the busking area cleared, Noah pulled out his guitar and started playing and singing for Olive. She seemed to like that very much.

Later, a protest began and of course Olive joined right away. She didn't expect Noah to join her, but he was just as vocal and passionate as she was!

Day 8: One-on-one date with Noah (1/3)

Noah took Olive to San Myshuno's Spice District. Olive complimented Noah's outfit choice, a combination of green and purple, which she always appreciates. However, apparently that compliment was taken very well and they ended up staying in front of the karaoke place flirting for like 2 hours.

Noah was much cheekier than I thought, pulling out the old mistletoe trick and being the first contestant to kiss Olive!

Why did you show up later than the others?

Avery: Oh hah, I had a late shift at the bar and I couldn't get out of it. I hoped it wouldn't put me at a disadvantage. But Olive stayed up and we got to know each other a little, so I think it should be ok! I didn't get a chance to talk to the others, but I'm sure there'll be plenty of time to do that!

What do you think about Olive?

Avery: Honestly... Okay. I appreciated her waiting up to talk to me and all, I just found her kind of annoying. Like she just kept going on and on about some stuff I didn't even understand! She seem's cool, just... I wish she'd take it down a few notches, y'know? She is cute though.

Later that night, a new face showed up at the Bachelorette House. Olive met another contestant, named Avery, who showed up later than the rest of them. While Olive was grabbing a late night snack, the two of them got the chance to catch up and get acquainted with one another.

Day 11: Final Impressions

Noah no longer thinks Olive is pretentious! He also finds her attractive now, as compared to when they first met when he just found her basic looking.

"She's always showing me new things. In the 11 days I've known her, I keep learning new things about her. Music was all I ever knew, but she's opened my eyes to trying new food, and her passion for speaking out has rubbed off on me!"
