spooky tuesday is a (now not so new!) podcast where we’re breaking down all of our favorite slashers, thrillers, monster movies and black comedies on the new scariest day of the week.
don't go in the water, spookies — sharky oneweek is back with a vengeance. on our latest episode of spooky tuesday, we're doing some deep sea exploration with the meg (2018) to make sure we're ready for the upcoming sequel, but you might be surprised to discover how timely the first film actually is. with a cast that includes rainn wilson, li bingbing, ruby rose, and masi oka, this super-sized shark movie is exactly the kind of fun you're looking for. plus, it stars '90s music video vixen jason statham stripping down, showing feet, and uttering some classic action movie leading man lines, so really what more could you want?

NOS4R2 2X10 SPOILERS BEWARE 5/6
overall good episode - has some action, and the rest is clearing away the aftermath of the the story. Season 2 did push past my expectations and push the gas to the metal this season. Maybe it will do that for Season 3
#1 - they get everything done within 20 minutes and the rest be calming down and we are 'now what?'. This happened in the ending of 1x10 - within 20 minutes everything was practically done and the energy ran out.
However, its a good thing but also a bad thing for what the director is doing. Season 2 did push past my expectations and push the gas to the metal this season. Maybe it will do that for Season 3.
confrontation of Manx vs. Vic was different from what i thought it be - instead Vic uses her imagination to make a hole within the bridge and Manx / wraith falls though into static. Goodbye fine car. I’ll miss you forever.
Tumblr media
#2 - Wayne still hungup on ChristmasLand  - understandable -  he never had a christmas - and under influence of Manx and the car even though the car get smashed by the machine and only told manx was cremated but since it wasn’t shown - i don’t believe it until i see it.  Him continually running away from Lou and Vic and not listening to them is tiring. but after he’s back human he get his control back. Wayne and Millie chatting was interesting though but Millie seems to have a 1 way mind due to her upbring of being in CL for 100+ years, there is no control for her here, and her eating animals in the forest is another thing she finds troubling - she wants to gain back control - a trait passed by her father.
***[[ The crushing of the Wraith was defiantly incomplete due to the motor wasn’t crushed at all. the door opening while it is being crush seem to be a foreshadowing that perhaps manx might come back in S3. but the fact the motor is outside the wraith was sketchy- so could it be that any car might work -just as long the original motor can run inside the car itself? eh just a thought.
***[[ The drawing that Wayne made with him and Millie foreshadows the future and the past due to how he draw the outfit for Millie - its not the nutcracker outfit y’all - it is the outfit that Charlie worn. drawing is similar to what Millie had drawn in 1x09 sleigh house episode. DUNDUNDUN
#3 - we only saw the body of manx - however anything could happen. He might come back because as far as i can see - Quinto is the driving force of this show - so it be hard to try to keep the story going without him. unless we get numerous creatives within next season and hopefully see what Abe’s power is at last.  Ashleigh Cummings has done splendid as Vic Mcqueen and loved her acting this season. Her push for her character was fantastic and showed how distress/worried mothers are for their kids. Ólafur Darri Ólafsson has done a great job in bring Bing to life so well that everyone hates Bing. His Jekyll/Hyde twist of the character does bring chills to the viewers and leaves the viewers wondering where he strikes next. I wonder what happens to Bing in Season 3? Lou and Vic’s parenting skills seem to work because they are talking things out with Wayne and trying to help him get though the ordeal.
#4 - Maggie is becoming obsessed with Creative’s world - similar to Hourglass Man. This could be a side effect for all creatives or it could be the side effect of how Hourglass man and Maggie try to stop the side effect with the cigarette? Maggie wants to see creatives world - we all are - , & Vic just wants a normal life - understandable - crazy year for her.  interesting that she finds her inscape within a broken elevator.
#5 - Millie turns 180 and wants to bring CL back along with the kids. Yikes. Like father like daughter eh. she might need therapy.  Vic seems to forgets about Millie after saving both wayne and maggie. I’m not sure about this ending for season 2 but it was unexpected.  glad that Millie has a choice of keeping the ornament and rather she wants to stay a demon or a human. that be interesting to see how she might rebuild CL or if she chooses herself if she wants come back human kid again for s3.
after thoughts:
Find it hilarious that Charlie Manx causes so much trouble that he become a ghost folklore tale to teenagers in today’s world. XD  *wondered how the real world teenagers found out about him? be interesting to know!  probably crazy fans out there too*
when old Manx says ‘you wore’ I just laugh.
Hilarious that the car didn’t want to get crushed by the machine XD
