Tohma is actually so needy. It may just be his real personality but it might also be a hint on how he is a bit younger. He wants all of Natsume's attention, he wants to hear his name and needs to hear again how he is loved. Maybe some hints of family drama aka abandonment issues, given how we learn that he avoids all talk about his family..hmmm I see you screenwriters, I do.

Kamen Rider Zi-O, episode 16

Holy smokes, Kamen Rider Zi-O is GOOD! As in, it might turn out to be my favorite Kamen Rider series to date. The storytelling is simply enthralling, the story itself downright fascinating!

The contrast between Present!Sougo and Evil-Overlord!Sougo is... wow. What caused Sougo, good, sweet and kind Sougo to become a psychopath who would destroy the world and murder billions in cold blood? His realization of what he's going to become, what he's going to do, his despair, his reluctance to pick up a driver again! And Geiz's character progress from someone who hated Sougo on principle to a loyal friend who would fight by Sougo's side and protect him with his life. And Woz and his scheming! Wow. Just wow.

And the acting! Like, gosh, the actors are just ah-mazing. They're so intense in their parts, they make it seem so real, all the time-jumping shenanigans and all the emotional parts, too. That's why the story is just clicking, all the pieces fitting so well together!

Also, the fact that we meet so many Riders throughout the series, it feels like being invited to a buffet where you can sample all the foods. You get to know them a little and see what other KR series you could watch, older series, once this one is over and... Gosh!

ngl that was the cutest line delivery I've heard in a while, it was so good and a bit unexpected. Like Tohma's voice raising a bit at the end indicating that he actually thinks it's really adorable how his boyfriend keeps attracting attention, like he admires it (even if we know he's the jealous type lol). Also the perfectly timed raise of his fingers like he's internally going "yay" just to lighten the mood since Natsume was worried. Chef's kiss Toyoda Yudai.
