its kinda crazy that if it weren’t for me making a tumblr acc just to like @okaratauri ‘s art, I would have never began watching sg, I wouldn’t been making exforce doodles on random occasions, and I also wouldn’t have been this happy. Thank you okara and tumblr for both a) making me enjoy making art again, and b) somehow making my mental state better💀

New zine just came out! Have you ever wondered where the phrase "Be gay, do crime" comes from? Here is a mini zine with a very very quick resume on it, for the price of pay-what-you-want with a minimum of one dollar! It contains both usamerican and brazilian history, and even gets a bit into anarcoqueer.

The disability zine will have to be delayed, but i plan on realising it this month still.

-> The zine is now written in Open Dyslexic font rather than Art nuvo, for easier reading. I want these zines to be acessible to all.

"But why you? What did you do?"

"Sit down. Please. If you run out of here without a word one more time, I swear I'll have a heart attack. Just to spite you."

"I'm giving you till the count of three to prove you're not using magic. Otherwise, I will declare you a dirty little cheater and your reputation and credibility will be forever tainted. One. Two—"

"I'm coming in; if that's not okay, throw something at me. Something soft, preferably."

Ordered my first art commission for my fanwalker Luzu. She turned out great! Maybe now I can break my mental block and draw her myself.

Backstory: Born with no twin, Luzu was thrust into the initiate program early. While trying to adhere to the fanatical lifestyle, they harbored doubts due to a strange dysphoria created by their personal magic. Luzu appeared to somehow have anchored his sister’s soul into the land of the living with Luzu himself as a conduit. While capable of physical interact with the world it was only for the briefest of time. She also wasn’t capable of speech, but Luzu could had an instinctual understanding of the spirit. Luzu would routinely summon his sister to possess him and let her experience the world she lost.

Still this strange magic didn’t mesh with the idealized image Luzu had been raised with. As such he shaved his long fur short and forswore using his sister in all but the most desperate or safest of situations, instead attempting to present as the perfect Khrena initiative. However,  as he hardened his body and soul through training Luzu’s internal conflict grew slowly splintering his faith even more. Eventually the spirit changed, gone was his sister in its place a shifting blurry nightmare manifestation with only the vaguest resemblance to its previous form. Still he struggled on plunging himself into training, trying desperately to push down the dissociation and anxieties which had become a daily experience. Trying to be the perfect.

Then the day of Bolas came in its terrifying hell. The death and destruction struggling to overtake Luzu’s already fracturing mind, body, and soul ignited his  spark. Waking up he initially though he was still on Amonkhet until stumbling upon a group of Abzan Ainok scouring the sands. His spark had flung his to Tarkir’s Abzan region. Struggling to understand what was happening, Luzu recouperated under the Ainok’s care, but soon took to wandering. The Abzan proving too dogmatic and his soul magic an uncomfortable oddity in their the community. Moving on he found the Jeskai to be too reminiscent of his homeplay, militant and vaguely religious. Quickly he came to and left both Mardu and Sultai lands repulsed by their violent and conniving culture. It was at the Temur lands he finally found peace.

Through the rites of a Temur shaman Luzu finally had an opportunity to have a lengthy tête-à-tête with the spirit he had long thought to be her sister. The reality was it was not a dead soul bound to his body but a manifestation of his very soul.

Of her soul. Of her inner being.

She was seeing herself. Seeing who she really was and who she desired to be deep inside. Its, at times, monstrous form a gross reflection of her conflicting conscious and subconscious desires. Realizing the truth, she abandoned her birthname [REDACTED], and took Luzu giving honor to the life giving waters of the Luxu of her homeplane and the ferocity for life imparted to her people via Hazoret’s blessing.

She now wanders the planes, looking to bring peace to spirits and souls via the path of self-discovery she was given.

I have more but I’m having an ADHD day so this is good enough for now.

 If you made it this far and couldn’t tell she is trans. I’m trans. I want more trans representation. Fantasy lands should have more trans stories. Get bent if you don’t like it. 

Thinks I didn’t add to this post: Mentor - She had a mentor (Black Feline Initiate from Ahmonket name Okara) where she learned the underglow effect in her picture and gave her some guidance on accepting yourself flaws and all. However, she got Eternalized and that revelation ain’t happening until War of the Spark. I might do stuff with her later. HeroForge Minis - I also have made way too many Heroforge figures of Luzu. The range from Pre-Spark appearane/dress to Post spark appearance/dress, also some of her as an trans egg. However,  I’m saving those for references for Artists and myself. I also have her mentor in 3 forms: Casual Dress, Using Magic, and Eternalized, but again saving those for references. D&D Build - I’m still working it own, but I have toyed around with making her as a D&D character.

War of the Spark - I have an idea about Luzu running into an Eternalize Okara, but want to save that feels for later.
