Okami is proof of why more games should do more stylized art styles and why you don't need realism to look gorgeous.

It's a nearly 20 year old game and it looks gorgeous, it holds up well and even 2hen it got HD remake there was minimal changes (I think maybe colors were brightened? or something)

It also has 0 voice acting- though they do have some sounds Ala animal crossing but still.

It's beautifully distinct unable to be confused with any other game.

Amaterasu Ōkami commission for a dear friend~ 🐺🌸 I worked really hard on the background for this one! Found out that the Shinshu Plains are based on the landscapes of Nagano, so it was fun looking up ref pics for that~
