The logical part of him knows that there's just no way he could have noticed. The part of him that is held together by stitches and splints wants him to believe that he could have done more. That he should have known and done better. But he didn't. He dared Fate and has to live through the consequences. Barely three months after Lambert has made the decision to stay in Kaer Morhen a sickness spreads through the old keep.
